Objectives: This study was conducted to describe child perceived health knowledge, health education needs, and health behaviors by grade in a representative general characteristic and examined their associations for students' better health behaviors. Methods: The survey participants were 410 fourth to sixth grade students in two elementary schools in Seoul, Korea. A total of 12 classes in two elementary schools were randomly selected and all students of the selected classes participated in the self-administered survey. The questionnaire contained the items of perceived health knowledge, health education needs(health topics which they want to know more), health behavior, and general characteristics. Results: Perceived health knowledge, health education needs, and health behaviors were, generally, better in the $4^{th}$ grade students than $5^{th}$ or $6^{th}$ grade students. That is, higher grade students had lower perceived health knowledge, lower health education needs, and lower health behavior status. Specifically, there was significant grade differences in 'significance of publichealth,' 'nutritionandhealthyeating,' 'desirablehealthhabits,' 'humansex,' 'physical development in childhood,' 'stress management & drugcontrol,' and 'injury prevention.' Correlations between perceived health knowledge and health behavior were low or medium in all grades. However, correlations between perceived health education needs and health were significant in the $4^{th}$ grade students but not significant in the $5^{th}$ and $6^{th}$ grade students. Conclusions: There was significant grade difference of the relationship between health knowledge, health education needs, and health behaviors among children. In general, the lower the grade the better the health knowledge, educational needs, and health behavior. Health education needs were more significant by grade than perceived health knowledge and health behaviors.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relations of breakfast skipping and dietary habits according to breakfast intake frequency. Subjects were 5th and 6th graders of elementary school(n=423) in Gyeonggi area. As a result of analyzing the breakfast intake frequency, 'Having everyday' showed the highest 63.4%, followed by '4~6 times' 16.5%, '2~3 times' 13.5% and '0~1 times' 6.6%. As a result of analyzing the relations between mother and child in the breakfast intake frequency, it showed that the more mothers skipped breakfast, the more their children skipped it. For the reason of skipping breakfast, 'To be in time for school' showed the highest percentage. As a result of analyzing the perception of awareness for the importance of nutrition and dietary habit according to the breakfast intake frequency, there was a statistically significant difference in breakfast intake, dietary habits, selection and intake of proper food, disease and health problem according to the breakfast intake frequency. As a result of study, it is necessary that nutrition education should not be limited to children but expanded to their parents in order to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of nutrition education between school and home.

Many researchers in the 21st century has found that robot education is effective to develop the learners' creativity and problem-solving ability. However, the robot education can only be applied to the students whose computer skills are high. Also it can be taught in the well-prepared computer classroom. Students have to learn machine language to control their robots, and robots are controlled by different types of software. Therefore this study has constructed command-based programming blocks to do a robot programming without computers. It also presents a prototype of the programming process and a technological method to combine the command and the programming blocks. We used the blocks which are similar with something in flow chart: to support intuition, and to help students transfer what they learned. And types of blocks and details are described for the Robot Programing Education. Combination of command blocks is made by RS-485 connection method and, it is designed to intercommunicate with connected blocks. It also presents a prototypes: of the programming process using designed command blocks, and of the possibility of Unplugged Robot Education System.
This study examined the relationship among temperament, social support and hope of institutionalized children. A total of 198 children, aged 10 to 13, recruited from 20 institutions in Seoul participated. Demographics, temperament, social support from friends, institution-family and school teacher, and hope were assessed by self-report. Results showed that in bivariate level, temperament and social support were significantly associated with level of hope. However, hierarchical multiple regressions indicated that children's hope was predicted only by age and social support from friends, institution-family and school teacher. That is, temperament was not contributed to predict hope, whilst social support contributed unique variance to the prediction of hope, controlling for age. The more social support the children felt they had, the higher levels of hope they reported. Further analyses revealed that support from friends, institution-family and school teacher were influential factors in explaining hope agency, while support from institution-family and school teacher were influential factors in explaining hope pathway of institutionalized children, controlling for age.
