Vertical Distribution of Seismic Load Considering Dynamic Characteristics of Based Isolated Building Structures (면진건축물의 동적특성을 고려한 층지진하중 분배식의 제안)

  • In this study, the validity of the currently used seismic regulations for seismic isolated building structures is investigated, and a new formula for vertical distribution of seismic load is proposed. The distribution formula in UBC-91 did not provide sufficient safety, and thus revised in 1994. However it is pointed out that the revised formula overestimates the seismic load because of its similarity to that of the fixed-base structure. Therefore, in the proposed approach, it is intended to satisfy safety, economy, and applicability by combining the mode shapes of the seismic isolated structure idealized as two degrees of freedom system and those of fixed-base structure. For verification of the proposed formula, both a moment resisting frame and a shear wall system are analyzed. The results obtained from the proposed method turn out to be close to the results from a dynamic analysis.

Design of Dual loop PLL with low noise characteristic (낮은 잡음 특성을 가지기 위해 이중 루프의 구조를 가지는 위상고정루프 구현)

  • In this paper, a phase locked loop structure with parallel dual loop which have a different bandwidth has been proposed. The bandwidths depending on transfer functions are obtained through dual loops. Two different bandwidths of each loop are used to suppress noise on the operating frequency range. The proposed phase locked loop has two different voltage controlled oscillator gains to control two different wide and narrow loop filters. Furthermore, it has the locking status indicator to achieve an accurate locking condition. The phase margin of $58.2^{\circ}$ for wide loop and $49.4^{\circ}$ for narrow loop is designed for stable operation and the phase margin of $45^{\circ}$ is maintained during both loops work together. It has been designed with a 1.8V 0.18um complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) process. The simulation results show that the proposed phase locked loop works stably and generates a target frequency.

A Continuous Fine-Tuning Phase Locked Loop with Additional Negative Feedback Loop (추가적인 부궤환 루프를 가지는 연속 미세 조절 위상 고정루프)

  • A continuous fine-tuning phase locked loop with an additional negative feedback loop has been proposed. When the phase locked loop is out-of-lock, the phase locked loop has a fast locking characteristic using the continuous band-selection loop. When the phase locked loop is near in-lock, the bandwidth is narrowed with the fine loop. The additional negative feedback loop consists of a voltage controlled oscillator, a frequency voltage converter and its internal loop filter. It serves a negative feedback function to the main phase locked loop, and improves the phase noise characteristics and the stability of the proposed phase locked loop. The additional negative feedback loop makes the continuous fine-tuning loop work stably without any voltage fluctuation in the loop filter. Measurement results of the fabricated phase locked loop in $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS process show that the phase noise is -109.6dBc/Hz at 2MHz offset from 742.8MHz carrier frequency.

A Loop Filter Size and Spur Reduced PLL with Two-Input Voltage Controlled Oscillator (두 개의 입력을 가진 VCO를 이용하여 루프필터와 스퍼 크기를 줄인 위상고정루프)

  • In this paper, a novel PLL has been proposed that reduces the size of the loop filter while suppressing spur by using a VCO with two inputs. Through the stability analysis according to the operating status, the PLL is designed to operate stably after the phase fixing. The capacitor of loop filter usually occupies larger area of PLL. It is a VCO that can reduce the size of the loop filter by increasing the effective capacitance of the capacitor through the simultaneous charge and discharge operation by two charge pumps and has two signals operating in opposite phases. The settling time of set to $80{\mu}s$ approximately by using a LSI(Locking Status Indicator) indicating the phase locking status. The proposed PLL is designed using a supply voltage of 1.8V and a $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS process.

정지궤도 위성의 지구와 달에 의한 식예측

  • 정지궤도에 위치한 위성에 있어서 지구에 의한 식은 일년에 두 기간에 걸쳐서 정기적으로 발생한다. 반면에 달에 의한 식은 궤도의 위치에 따라 불규칙적으로 발생하다. 식이 일어날 때 위성은 태양을 이용한 전력생산을 할 수 없게 되기 때문에 식시간에 대한 예측은 정지궤도상의 통신위성 또는 방송위성을 운용하는데 있어서 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 정지위성을 공칭위치에 고정시켜 놓고, 적도 좌표계에서 태양과 달의 시간에 따른 위치를 계산함으로써 지구와 달에 의한 식을 예측하였다. 또한 정지위성의 위치유지 각 한계점에서의 식을 예측해서 궤도위치에 따른 식시간과 식깊이를 비교해 보았다. 정지궤도상의 위성은 1995년에 발사될 동경 $116^{\circ}$의 무궁화 위성으로 하였다.

  • The energy of PV system is different as the elevation and aximuth of the sun. This paper deals with the economical position tracking system development for the stand alone PV system. We have made more economical solar position tracking system which is used a tracking program than other similar systems. It is applied to the solar lighting lamp. We have made a comparative study of the energy amount between the fixed type and the tracking type during some period. The improved efficiency of the system is about 86 %.

  • 본 연구는 생물생산시설의 구조설계 과정에서 초기단계의 고정하중을 합리적으로 추정하기 위한 식을 유도하여 구조설계 기준 설정에 기초자료를 제공하고, 생물생산분야 종사자가 간편하게 구조적 안전성을 진단할 수 있는 방법을 개발할 목적으로 수행하였으며 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 국내의 온실설계자료를 수집하여 실제 하중을 산출, 분석해 본 결과 기존의 일본 시설원예기준 적용치와는 차이가 있었으며, 잠정적으로 국내 시설에의 적용을 위한 추정식을 유도하였다. 2. 지역별 설계하중을 적용하여 구조해석을 실시하고, 발생되는 응력의 크기에 따라서 풍하중 및 설하중 지배지역으로 안전설계 지역구분을 실시하였다.

  • This study is for the isolated water-Proofing method using Poly-ethylene sheet in the underground water tank which is not affected by construction environments such as wet, low temperature and surface condition. The special features of this water-proofing method are that the construction and management control are very easier and more effective than the existing construction method.

  • 박정훈 이사장, NFPA 세계안전컨퍼런스 참가 박정훈 이사장은 미국방화협회(NFPA) 제임스 M, 셰넌(James M. Shannon) 회장의 초청으로 6월 6일부터 미국 네바다주 라스베가스에서 개최하는 "NFPA 세계안전컨퍼런스"에 참가하였다. 6일부터 10일까지 5일간 열린 이번 행사는 '고정식 터널화재진압 시스템에 관한 심포지엄' 등과 140개의 교육 세션이 열렸으며,200개 이상의 화재안전관련 업체가 참여하는 전시회도 개최되는 등 세계적으로 귄위있는 국제방화안전행사이다. 박정훈 이사장은 NFPA 행사에 참석한 후, 미국소방기술사회 (SFPE) 샘 도너웨이(Sam Dannaway) 회장과 만나 SFPE에서 발간한 "SFPE 방화공학핸드북(SFPF HANDBOOK of Protection Engineering)"의 한국어판에 대한 "인가 배포 협약"의 서명식을 가졌으며, 이 협약 체결에 따라 한국화재보험협회는 올해 안에 "SFPF 방화공학핸드북"의 한국어판을 발간하게 된다. 외국 기업의 국내 진출이 가속화됨에 따라 선진 방재기준의 신속한 도입이 절실히 요청되고 있는 시점에서 성사된 히번 협약으로 "SFPF 방화공학핸드북"을 한국어판으로 발간함에 따라, 방재업계는 물론 기업의 안전관리 등 국가방재기술의 이론을 체계화하는 데 크게 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

  • The arrangement technique of solar cell and module is accomplished quickly with development of power semiconduc-tors. It reached to a practical cost linearly. Photovoltaic power system increases constantly. There are 3kWtracking photovoltaic system and fixed photovoltaic system in Chosun University. This paper compares operating characteristics of the fixed photovoltaic system and the tracking photovoltaic system with shows the efficiency.
