  • 최근 전력산업에서의 에너지 가격 및 공급과 수요의 변동, 그리고 기후의 변화에 의해서 부하 예측은 전력회사 경영방침 계획에 있어 중요한 요소가 되었다. 이 논문에서 전력계통의 최적 운용 계획을 위하여 우리가 제안한 기법은 다차원 분석이 가능한 3D 큐브 마이닝과 시간의 변화에 따른 패턴 예측이 가능한 캘린더 기반 시간 데이터 마이닝 기법이다. 이를 통하여 무선 부하 감시 시스템의 부하 데이터의 다차원 분석이 가능하고, 시간 변화에 따른 서로 다른 부하 패턴의 예측이 가능하도록 한다.

An Expert System for Short-Term Generation Scheduling of Electric Power Systems (전력계통의 단기 발전계획 기원용 전문가시스템)

  • This paper presents an efficient short-term generation scheduling method using a rule-based expert/consulting system approach to assist electric energy system operators and planners. The expert system approach is applied to improve the Dynamic Programming(DP) based generation scheduling algorithm. In the selection procedure of the feasible combinations of generating units at each stage, automatic consulting on the manipulation of several constraints such as the minimum up time, the minimum down time and the maximum running time constraints of generating units will be performed by the expert/consulting system. In order to maximize the solution feasibility, the aforementioned constraints are controlled by a rule-based expert system, that is, instead of imposing penalty cost to those constraint violated combinations, which sometimes may become the very reason of no existing solution, several constraints will be manipulated within their flexibilities using the rules and facts that are established by domain experts. In this paper, for the purpose of implementing the consulting of several constraints during the dynamic process of generation scheduling, an expert system named STGSCS is developed. As a building tool of the expert system, C Language Integrated Production System(CLIPS) is used. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm has been demonstrated by applying it to a model electric energy system.

  • 현재 댐운영 계획 수립 시 매월 유지해야 하는 저수량의 범위를 나타낸 기준수위가 사용되고 있으며 매년 홍수기 말에 현재의 수문 상황과 장래의 전망을 통한 시기별 연간, 월간 댐운영 계획을 수립하고 있다. 물관리의 이수측면에서 댐수위 운영계획 수립과 홍수기 운영목표 수위를 결정하는데 활용하기 위해서는 계절단위, 연단위의 기상정보가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 기상청에서 운영하고 제공하는 전지구 계절예측시스템 GloSea5(Global Seasonal forecasting system version 5)자료를 활용하여 금강유역에 적용하고자 하였다. GloSea5는 전지구계절예측시스템으로 대기(UM), 지면(JULES), 해양(NEMO), 해빙(CICE)모델이 서로 결합되어 하나의 시스템으로 구성되어 있으며 공간 수평해상도는 N216($0.83^{\circ}{\times}0.56^{\circ}$)으로 중위도에서 약60km이다. Hindcast자료는 유럽중기예보센터(ECMWF)에서 생산된 ERA-Interim 재분석장을 대기 모델의 초기장으로 사용하며 기간은 1996~2009년의 총 14년이다. 예보자료의 검증은 예보의 질을 결정하는 과정으로 Brier Skill Score (BSS), Reliability Diagrams, Relative Operating, Characteristics (ROC)등을 통해 정확성과 오차에 의한 예보의 성능을 검증하였다. 또한 Glosea5의 통계적 상세화를 수행하여 다양한 변수가 갖는 계통적인 지역 오차를 보정함으로써 자료의 신뢰도를 향상시키고자 하였으며 이는 이후 수문모델과의 연계 시 보다 정확하고 효율적인 댐운영에 활용할 수 있는 기후예측정보를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • Load forecasting is needed to make supply and demand plan for a stable supply of electricity. It is also necessary for optimal operational plan of the power system planning. In particular, in order to ensure stable power supply, long-term load forecasting is important. And regional load forecasting is important for tightening supply stability. Regional load forecasting is known to be an essential process for the optimal state composition and maintenance of the electric power system network including transmission lines and substations to meet the load required for the area. Therefore, in this paper we propose a forecasting method using SARIMA during the 12 months (long-term/mid-term) load forecasting by 16 regions of the South Korea.

  • 90년대에 들어서면서부터 미래원천기술 개발에 필요한 양성자원 및 중성자원의 중요성이 부각됨으로써, 이에 적합한 고에너지(수백 MeV${\sim}$수 GeV) 및 대전류(수십 mA)의 대형 양성자 가속기가 개발되어 반도체 생산, 의료장비 등 여러 분야에 널리 적용되고 있는 추세이다[1, 2]. 이에 양성자 사업단은 21세기 미래 원천기술을 개발하고 산업경쟁력을 제고하며 공공복지를 증진시킬 수 있는 양성자가속기를 개발하여, NT, BT, IT, ST등 중요 국가과학기술분야의 발전기반을 확충하기 위한 프론티어 사업목표로 하고 있으며 이에 부응할 수 있는 양성자 가속기 연구센터 건설계획을 설정하여 추진 중에 있다. 본 논문에서는 양성자 가속기 연구센터 건설계획 과정 중에서 전력설비 설계 방법, 즉 154kV 수전 설비, 직류전원계통, 무정전 전원계통 설비, 접지 및 피뢰설비의 기능 및 특징에 관해 기술하고자 한다.

  • This paper analyzed quantitative effect on sorts of scenario for DE (Decentralized Energy) in the Korean Power System using WADE Economic Model. WADE Economic Model calculated shortage of power sales from the existing technologies above all. and it construct a new type of technologies according to sorts of scenario for DE. generating capacity and electricity generation is computed from this process. From now on can assess the side of environment meant $CO_2$, $NO_x$, $SO_x$, PM10 and cost meant electric retail cost that composed of construction, T&D, fuel, maintenance and environment.

  • Nuclear power utilities should establish a site-specific groundwater monitoring program for early detection of unplanned radioactive material's releases which can occur due to degradation of systems, structures and components of the nuclear power plants in order to keep the impact of the unplanned releases on the environment and the residents as low as reasonably achievable. For this end, groundwater flow on site should be evaluated based on characterization of the hydrogeology of a site of concern. This paper aims to provide data necessary for establishing groundwater monitoring program which is currently considered at Kori nuclear power plant 1 by characterizing groundwater flow system on the site based on the existing hydrogeological studies and related documents, and by modeling tritium transport. The results showed that the major groundwater flow direction was south-west and that most of groundwater entered a southern and eastern seas. Although the tritium plume also released into the sea, its rate was delayed by dewatering sump.

The Line Differences and Genetic Parameters of Linoleic and Arachidonic Acid Contents in Korean Native Chicken Muscles (한국 재래 계육 내 리놀레산과 아라키돈산 함량의 계통 간 차이 및 유전 모수 분석)

  • Korean native chicken (KNC) is classified as five lines (grey, black, red, white, brown) based on the plumage colors. The KNC has superior meat quality and flavor compared with those of the commercial broilers, which can be explained by the high arachidonic acid contents. The current study was conducted to investigate arachidonic acid contents in five lines of KNC and used for the development of commercial KNC. Breast and thigh muscles from 597 F1 KNC birds were used in this study and linoleic (precursor of the arachidonic acid) and arachidonic acid contents were measured by the standard protocol. In addition, heritabilities and genetic correlations were estimated. As the results, arachidonic acid contents were significantly different among the KNC lines. Also, relatively high heritabilities (0.414~0.570) for arachidonic acid contents were estimated in both breast and thigh muscles. The estimated genetic correlation was negative between linoleic and arachidonic acids. This study indicated that selection of KNC is possible for improving meat flavor in relation to the arachidonic acid. Also, this study can be used for making breeding plans for commercial KNC in the future.

A-team Based Approach for Reactive Power/Voltage Control Considering Steady State Security Assessment (정태 안전성 평가를 고려한 무효전력 전압제어를 위한 A-team기반 접근법)

  • In this paper, an A-team(Asynchronous Team ) based approach for Reactive power and volage control considering static security assessment in a power system with infrastructural deficiencies is proposed. Reactive power and voltage control problem is the one of optimally establishing voltage level given several constraints such as reactive generation, voltage magnitude, line flow, and other switchable reactive power sources. It can be formulated as a mixed-integer linear programming(MILP) problem without deteriorating of solution accuracy to a certain extent. The security assessment is to estimate the relative robustness of the system in Its present state through the evaluation of data provided by security monitoring. Deterministic approach based on AC load flow calculations is adopted to assess the system security, especially voltage security. A security metric, as a standard of measurement for power system security, producting a set of discrete values rather than binary values, is employed. In order to analyze the above two problems, reactive power/voltage control problem and static security assessment problem, in an integrated fashion for real-time operations, a new organizational structure, called an A-team, is adopted. An A-team is an organization for agents which ale all autonomeus, work in parallel and communicate asynchronously, which is well-suited to the development of computer-based, multi-agent systems for operations. This A-team based approach, although it is still in the beginning stage, also has potential for handling other difficult power system problems.

A Study of Economic Efficiency and Environmental Performance Due to the Conversion of the 7th and 8th Basic Plan for Long-term Power Supply and Demand (제7차 및 제8차 전력수급기본계획 전원 구성 전환에 따른 경제성 및 환경성 변화 분석 연구)

  • This paper estimates the effects of generation mix changes in the $7^{th}$ and $8^{th}$ Basic Plan for Long-term Power Supply and Demand from two aspects: economic efficiency through electricity prices and environmental performance through $CO_2$ and air pollutants(NOx, SOx, PM) emissions. Particularly, we examined additional generation mix conversion paths that take into account the trade-off between economic efficiency and environmental performance through scenario analysis. According to our results, the conversion from the $7^{th}$ plan to the $8^{th}$ plan should increase the electricity prices in the mid- and long-term, while reducing GHG and air pollutants emissions at the same time. The alternative generation mix that combines $7^{th}$ and $8^{th}$ plans shows that there exists a path to mitigate the trade-off between economic and environmental in the long-term. It will be next to impossible to derive a optimal generation mix that simultaneously considers the core values, such as supply stability, environmental performance, economic efficiency, energy safety and energy security, when establishing the power supply and demand plan. However, by exploring the effects of various generation mix paths and suggesting near-optimal paths, people can best choose their direction after weighhing all the paths when deciding on a forward-looking generation mix in the long term.
