A Study on the Effect of the Information System Factors and the Organizational Factors of Venture Firms on Procedural Management Performance (벤처기업의 정보시스템 특성과 조직특성이 과정적 경영성과에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of information system factors and organizational factors on procedural management performance in small and medium-sized venture companies in the Seoul metropolitan area. In the previous study was conducted mainly on large companies and general SMEs. In this study, the research was conducted considering the characteristics of SMEs. The results showed that system suitability, system quality, and IT assets had a positive effect on procedural management performance, and manager perception and human resource capacity had a positive effect on procedural management performance. But the evaluation and compensation did not have a positive effect on procedural management performance. The results of this study showed almost the same results as those of the previous studies. Venture firms have poor financial ability, technology, and organizational management ability than general SMEs. However, the introduction and diffusion factors of new information systems were not significantly different from those of general SMEs.

The Influence of Business Environment Factors on the Characteristics of Management Accounting System(MAS) - Focusing on small and mid-sized enterprises (기업의 경영환경요인이 관리회계시스템에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 중소기업을 대상으로)

  • This study attempted to analyze the influence of both internal and external business environment factors on the characteristics of the management accounting system (MAS). For this, external business environment factors were divided into environmental uncertainty and market competition while internal factors were classified into management strategy, organizational structure and advanced manufacturing technology. In addition, the characteristics of the MAS were categorized into information scope, timeliness, integration and aggregation. The study results found the followings: Among business environment factors, environmental uncertainty had a relatively significant effect on the scope, integration and aggregation of information while organizational structure revealed the largest influence on timeliness. However, market competition had no particular effect on the characteristics of the MAS.

A Comparition on the Knowledge Management Level of Small Firms (중소기업의 지식경영 수준 비교)

  • The purpose of this research is to investigate the level of knowledge management in Korea small firms. The research scheme was experimented through a questionnaire survey answered by 150 firms. The research model was composed of five groups : 1) knowledge management and business strategic, 2) a culture and structure for knowledge management, 3) learning process and community 4) information technology to support knowledge management 5) a reward and performance measurement. The results of this research indicated that the level of knowledge management is different according to the characteristic of small firms. The result of the empirical analysis can be summarized as follows : First, the business culture for knowledge management is not performed pertinently. Second, the learning process for knowledge management and a reward and performance measurement is insufficient. Third, the characteristics of a firm should be considered for measuring the level of knowledge management.

  • 지식, 정보사회에로의 급속한 변화에 따라 지식경영은 국방분야에서도 군사력의 향상과 경제적 군 운용을 위한 중요한 경영패러다임이 되었다. 군에서 지식경영을 도입하기 위해서는 학계에서 연구되어온 지식경영의 제반개념을 바탕으로 군 현실과 특성에 부합하는 지식경영의 프레임웍과 모델이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 지식프로세스, 영향요소 및 기반요소로 구성되고 조직 문화와 정보기술이 중시된 국방지식경영 프레임웍을 제시한다. 또한 국방지식경영 추진을 위하여 준비단계, 도입단계, 확산단계 및 성숙단계로 구성된 지식경영 추진모델을 제안한다.

  • Management condition of small business is very poor owing to entry barriers and excessive competition. Of course, it is believed that differences in competitiveness and result arise from characteristics of a businessman. Therefore, this study intends to grasp relationships between businessman's characteristics and management result of small business and to investigate moderating effects of trust in social capital on the management result. Through this, it mainly aims to draw implications to secure self-regenerating power of small business which faces various difficulties now. Research result is as follows: First, it was found that management result was influenced by the order of achievement need, risk-taking propensity and intuition among businessmen's characteristics. It seems to well reflect businessman's characteristics of the tendency to rely on his own intuition through confidence and an optimistic view. Second, there were moderating effects on confidence between achievement need and management result. Third, as implications to secure self-regenerating power of small business based on above contents, this study asserted to prepare various political measures in order to encourage achievement need of small business and then, to raise survival rates of small businessmen who face serious social problems today.

  • This study confirms the impact relationship between the president and employee competency related to smart factory construction of manufacturing SMEs, the acceptance intention and management performance in smart factory construction. The 310 data collected through a questionnaire were tested for research hypotheses through SEM. As a result, the president and employee competency affects the smart factory acceptance intention and the employee competency affects the management performance. Acceptance intention has a positive impact on management performance. Regional characteristics have a moderating effect on the relationship between president competency, acceptance intention, and management performance. Through this study, it was confirmed that the president and employee competency was an important factor in smart factory built.

  • This study analyzes business performance factors for young startup, one of the solutions to the youth unemployment problem, and explored the effects of individual characteristics, capability, and environmental factors of young entrepreneurs on business performance. The study targets young traders operating in traditional markets and shopping streets nationwide. The 159 sample data were statistically analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and Smart PLS 2.0 for frequency analysis, reliability and validity analysis. The Entrepreneur's individual characteristics such as challenge spirit, start-up capability, and market characteristics affect absorptive capacity and interorganizational network. And absorptive capacity and interorganizational network affect financial and non-financial business performance. As a result, it was found that young traders need to reinforce their individual characteristics, start-up capability, and interorganizational networks in order to improve business performance. This study is intended to provide theoretical and practical implications.

An Empirical Study on the Adoption of Online Direct Marketing in Agricultural Firms (농업경영체의 온라인 직거래 마케팅 수용에 관한 실증적 연구)

  • This study analyzed the factors that affect acceptance of online direct marketing in agricultural companies. Empirical analysis was conducted using the research model based on the individual's technology acceptance model (TAM) and the information technology adoption models in organizations. These models have four dimensions: 1) technology characteristics, which include perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use of TAM 2) CEO characteristics, which including the innovativeness and IT capability of CEOs; 3) organizational readiness, which include financial, technological, and human resources capabilities and 4) environment and external pressure, which include government support and changes to the Internet environment. These concepts were empirically tested. A total of 209 valid data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis through the application of structural equation modeling. Results show that perceived usefulness, IT capability of CEOs, and changes to the Internet environment have significant effects on the adoption intention of online direct marketing. However, perceived ease of use, CEO innovativeness, government support, and the variables of organizational readiness dimension did not have significant effects on adoption intention. This study suggests practical implications for adoption of online direct marketing in agricultural companies.
