The Analysis on the Causal Model between Self-directedness, Learning Flow, Career Decision and Self-efficacy, and Career Exploration Behavior of Undergraduate Students (대학생의 자기주도성, 학습몰입, 진로결정효능감과 진로탐색행동 간의 관계 구조분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to analysis the causal model between self-directedness, learning flow, career decision and self-efficacy, and career exploration behavior of undergraduate students. A survey was conducted on 604 undergraduate students, and Structural Equation Modeling was used to analyze. The major findings were as follows: First, learning flow and career decision self-efficacy were found to have positive impacts on career exploration behavior. However, self-directedness was found to have no significant direct impacts on career exploration behavior. Second, self-directedness was found to have positive impacts on learning flow and career decision self-efficacy. Finally, learning flow and career decision self-efficacy were found to have perfect mediating effects on the relationships between self-directedness and career exploration behavior. Considering the size of the specific indirect effect, the mediating effects of learning flow was relatively larger than those of career decision self-efficacy. Based on the results, discussions to increase career exploration behavior were made as well as suggestions for future research.

Awareness and Behavior of Elementary School Children on Children's Favorite Foods (초등학생의 어린이 기호식품에 대한 의식과 섭취 실태 조사)

  • This study was performed to investigate elementary school children's awareness on children's favorite foods and their consumption behavior of the foods. This study also focused on the association between the variables and gender/grade. We conducted a cross-sectional survey with direct interview among three hundreds and six elementary school children (188 boys and 118 girls) from 13 schools of a city of Korea, using a structured questionnaire. Among the overall proportion, more than 20% of the respondents did not know children's favorite foods and/or have no information source on the foods. More than 60% of the respondents consumed children's favorite foods more than 1 to 2 times a week. Only 16% respondents got information on children's favorite foods at home and 37% at school. There were significant correlations (p < 0.05) between gender/grades and knowledge/route of information on children's favorite foods. Boys had more knowledge than girls (p < 0.05), however they showed worse attitude on children's favorite foods and consumed more the foods. The higher grade children had more knowledge, better attitude and various routes of information on children's favorite foods (p < 0.05), but consumed more the foods. The results of this study indicate that there is a discrepancy between knowledge and attitude/behavior. This study also indicate that school food-service program and food hygiene/safety education in school and at home should be improved. Strong implementation of laws for regulation of selling adulterated food around elementary school may be another step in controlling consumption of the food by school children.

An Analysis about of Path Coefficient Difference of Intention to Use between Smart Education Experience Group and Non-Experience Group (스마트 교육 경험 집단과 비 경험 집단 간 활용 의도 경로계수 차이 분석)

  • This study investigated the recognition of teachers on the introduction and use of SMART education, which is an ICT-based customized learning method. Through the investigation, the study was to empirically examine the relationship between the use intention of SMART education and its influential factors, and analyze the difference in the use intention of SMART education by teachers, focusing on the experience of SMART education. For analysis purpose, a structural equation model, which was expanded from the theory of reasoned action, was presented. In addition, the difference in path coefficient, which affects the use intention of SMART education, was compared based on the experience with or without SMART education. The results showed that teacher efficacy in the teacher group without SMART education experience was more negatively significant in class burden. In the teacher group with SMART education experience, it was found that the attitude toward SMART education was more significant in use intention; organizational citizenship behavior was more significant in use intention; teacher efficacy was more significant in the attitude toward SMART education and; teacher efficacy was more significant in organizational citizenship behavior. No significant difference was found in the path coefficient among the groups in other hypotheses. Through these results, the factors for introducing and promoting SMART education and its invigoration measures were presented.

The Effect of Servant Leadership of Sports Administrator on Job Satisfaction and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (체육행정가의 서번트 리더십이 직무만족과 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to find the effect of servant leadership of sports administrator on job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior to provide effectiveness management. To accomplish this research objective, as the subjects 333 employees were selected who working at 3 branches of Korea Sports Promotion Organization and Korea Olympic Committee. As for data processing, this research made a frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation model analysis were utilized. The results using structural equation model indicated that servant leadership had directly positive effect on job satisfaction. and servant leadership had directly positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior. In addition, job satisfaction had directly positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior. The implications of the study suggest that sports organization administrator should strengthen servant leadership to build up effectiveness management.

  • Korea has recently invested much of its effort in fostering talents in scientific fields to establish a foundation for sustainable future growth. From this perspective, the ministry of education has come up with a special rule aimed at achieving the substantiality of engineering schools in universities. The ministry has been providing educational support by providing a tech-innovation center, industry-oriented education, and policies such as PRIME. Despite this support, most students in the natural science field end up being hired in fields not related to their majors. There has been a growing opinion regarding the need for career education for these students. In this research, based on a social cognitive career theory (SCCT) model that provides a comprehensive understanding of career development, this research would like to practically examine the relationship among college students' career preparation behaviors and influencing variables, such as grit, career decision-making self-efficacy, outcome expectation, and major interest. Data from 153 natural-science majors at A college in Korea were collected and analyzed using path analysis. The result was that the data strongly supported the model explaining the relationship between career preparation behaviors and influencing variables. Based on this result, we propose that career education that can promote grit, career decision-making self-efficacy, outcome expectation, and major interest is required to encourage students in the field of the natural sciences to pursue career preparation behaviors related to their majors.

Tracking of an Individual Fish by Use of the Ultrasonic Tag (초음파표식에 의한 단체어의 행동 추적)

  • This paper described on the tracking of an individual fish at the fishing ground of set net by use of a small ultrasonic fish tag. The apparatuses used were composed with a tag, three receivers and two time-interval counter oscilloscope. A pulsed ultrasonic transmitter tag fitted to back of a dorsal fin of a yellowtail specimen, Seriola quinqueradidta TEMMINCK et SCHLEGEL is tracked by measuring differences in the time of arrival of the acoustic pulses at an arrangement of three receivers in the freeding tank. The successive positions of the fish were calculated from the differences in the received time of the signals. A fish carying the tag was tracked in the fishing ground of set net by use of the hydrophone and Loran-C. The results of the tests showed that this method gave good positional information to track the movement of an individual fish in the fishing ground of set net.

  • The expenment was conducted to study the foraging behavior of Amblyseius hngisp~nosus for eggs of Tetranychus urticoe. When preys were abundant, A. longispinosus repeated a series of foraging process (feeding, after-feeding movement, restmy, and searching) The time (Mean\ulcorner SD) spent for these components were 6 83+ 1.73. 3 OOi 1.66. 93.57+ 30 19. and -0.00 min., respectively. Afterfeeding movement was chractetired as a complex one-way circular moving path with a slow speed (0.09 mm/sec) and area-restricted Escaping movement was fast (0 31 mm/sec), more straight in direction, and edge-oriented walking. The Effects of Driving Confidence Level on Dangerous Driving Behaviors in the Novice Drivers: A Path Analysis Study (초보운전자의 운전확신수준이 위험운전에 미치는 영향: 경로분석을 이용한 연구)

  • This study focused on novice drivers. Novice drivers get involved in more traffic accidents than the other drivers because of less driving experience. The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between driving confidence levels and speeding, drunken driving, and traffic accidents. 192 drivers responded driving confidence levels questionnaire and driving experience items. 'Circumstance Insensibility', 'Unsafe Driving', 'Incautious Driving', and 'Self-efficacy of Driving' had significant relations with speeding in novice divers group. Especially, 'Circumstance Insensibility' showed a significant relation with speeding, drunken driving and traffic accidents. In the result of path analysis, driving confidence levels explained 22% of the speeding, 12% of the drunken driving and 21% of the traffic accidents in novice drivers group. 'Circumstance Insensibility' was most effective for traffic accidents of novice drivers. We verified that 'Self-efficacy of Driving' affects on traffic accidents via speeding.

Pathways from Child Abuse to Adolescent School Violence -Focusing on Social Development Model- (청소년의 아동학대 경험이 학교폭력 가해행동에 이르는 경로 -사회발달모델(Social Development Model)을 중심으로)-)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine mediation role of parental attachment, school bonding and delinquent peers in effects of child abuse experience on offending school violence among middle school students. The survey was conducted for boys and girls enrolled in 50 middle schools located in Seoul and Kyung-ki province from October 15 to November 25 in 2012 and total 1,563 were used for final analysis. PASW 18.0, AMOS 18.0 and Mplus were used for statistical analysis. Major findings of this study are as follows. Child abuse experience is analyzed as effecting directly to offending in school violence but also having indirect effecting through mediation process with parental attachment, school bonding and delinquent peers from the analysis of structural equation model. Another finding indicates that multiple indirect effects of parental attachment, school bonding, delinquent peers through Mplus nonlinear analysis, pathways including mediator of parental attachment, school bonding and delinquent peers are verified as statistically significance. Below is discussed for practical and policy implications to prevent school violence in middle school based on this study.

Study on the Effect of Organizational Justice on Innovative Behavior (조직의 공정성이 혁신행동에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine whether organizational justice, including procedural justice and distributive justice, improve employees' innovative behavior through work engagement and knowledge sharing. In addition, it was conducted to investigate whether work engagement and knowledge sharing indirectly affect the relationship between organizational justice and innovative behavior. For the hypothesis test of this study, Hayes (2018) PROCESS Macro was used. Result of the analysis shows that procedural justice, work engagement, and knowledge sharing influenced innovative behavior. The constructs influencing work engagement were procedural justice, distributive justice, knowledge sharing. Also, procedural justice and work engagement were constructs that affected knowledge sharing. In the relationship between procedural justice and innovative behavior, the indirect effect was confirmed in all paths. In the relationship between the distributive justice and the innovative behavior, It was confirmed that there is not the indirect effect only in the path via knowledge sharing. he indirect effect was confirmed in all paths that did not acquire knowledge sharing. In addition, through the PROCESS Macro analysis, we examined the magnitude of the indirect effect of various paths between mediators. The results show that organizational justice can have the greatest effect on innovative behavior through work engagement. The weakness of respondents control by SNS survey is the major limitation of this study. In the future, Further research is needed depending on the nature of the organization, such as the analysis of differences between various industries.
