Affecting factors to oral scaling experience of the part worker (일부 직장인의 구강건강상식 및 스케일링에 대한 인식도)

  • Objectives : This study was to investigate into company workers' oral scaling related factors and enhance a rate of oral scaling. Methods : From August 2010, self-administered questionnaires of the about general question items, oral health relation factors, knowledge of periodontal disease for oral scaling performed, in 267 people worker objects. Results : The followings are the findingd of this research. First, Oral scaling experiences were responded by 205 people(76.8%). Among those prevention the case which enforces with a goal periodically 6 month period 7.3% and the period of 1 years is 28.8%, be most inconvenient is cold(50.7%), with motive is dentistry visits inducement for tooth therapy which 51.2%, Non experience in oral scaling was responded by 62 people(23.2%), 45.2% of whom answered they had no necessity for such treatment. Second, Knowledge of periodontal disease is 'dental calculus and stain loses toothbrush quality did eagerly' incorrect one right answer ratio is highest with 86.5%, 'Becoming the adult being made to draw out tooth is periodontitis than decay' was incorrect one right answer rate was lowest with 62.9%. Third, The workers' sex, service field, one month average income, Currently the oral inconvenient presence, oral health Interest degree, tooth brushing method, knowledge of periodontitis have a significant effect on their oral scaling experience. Conclusions : When seeing with result of above, it is necessary of the oral scaling widely with the method which is various includes a mass communication by causing the changes in the perception of oral scaling. The dental hygienist is inconvenience from oral scaling experience have interest when is possible the patient comfortably, in order could be operated, endeavors demanded.

  • While use of a pet bottle with use it is light recently and convenient increases quickly, it is used from the child, also diffusing the user to a pet bottle to people of various classes, such as an old person, a woman, a male, the man in the street, and a disabled person. However, those who are standardized on the basis of the common man with the plan energy of a pet bottle, and cannot attain to the standard, That is, a child and a disabled person may be condemned to the vague situation that a lid cannot be opened or a contents thing cannot be drunk without external help. And the characteristic of a material and production which are called PET Even if convenience is emphasized for the cost reduction of COST, a design is chosen easily, and even if it calls it the man in the street, the point of coming to experience a situation with the difficult time of use can be found well. In research of a book, problem derivation which classifies entering school and a preschool man-and-woman child for a child drink for an object first by the viewpoint of universal design paying attention to such problems, and leads the actual use example of a pet bottle was carried out in true heart, and various notional approach was shown by the solution method.

  • Universal designs begins from observing things. This paper understands contradiction and irrationality about drink bottle used unintentionally in our common life. Those have not found out until now. So an example observation about problem derivation and a practice method of Universal design is presented. People of various classes, such as a child, an old person and a woman, a male, the man in the street, and a disabled person, have been using drink bottle recently. However, the design of drink bottle has become on the basis of the fine and common man, so the other people, for example, children or handicapped persons experience many situations which cannot open cap or cannot be drunk without external help. This research posed questions from the children to the elders about drink bottle by the viewpoint of universal design paying attention to such problems. In the research result, the fixed quantity and qualitative quantity about problem are commented. And the fixed quantity utilized frequency analysis and chi-square verification ($X^2$) for the questionnaire result on the basis, and the qualitative quantity pointed out result in the universal design principle through the data of a precedence research result. An alternative plan for drink bottle's design is presented through case observation of conceptual approach to method of Universal design.

Effects of forest tending on Landslide (숲가꾸기가 산사태 발생에 미치는 영향)

  • In general, forest tending work contributes to preventing landslides by enhancing forest health. In order to quantify beneficial effects of forest tending, landslide occurrences in forest tending area and those in non-forest tending area were compared and analyzed. The landslide had been hit hard in Inje and Pyeongchang county, Gangwon province, following Typhoon 'Bilis' on July 15, 2006. Data on forest tending of Pinus koraiensis and Larix kaempferi stands were acquired from the Inje National Forest Station, North regional forest service. The rate of landslide occurrence was increased sharply just after forest tending work and was decreased as time goes by. The analysis also found that the change in landslide frequency was slight by age class in the non-forest tending area, while it decreased as age class increased in the forest tending area.

  • 현대 사회에서 심장 질환은 3대 사망요인 중 하나로 매우 위험한 질환으로 분류되고 있으며 이에 의한 사망률이 매년 증가하는 추세이다. 기존의 의학적 상식에 의하면 스테로이드계의 남성 호르몬인 테스토스테론은 심장 질환과 관련이 있다고 되어 있다. 테스토스테론은 남성에게 중요한 호르몬으로 적당량이 분비되어야 건강하지만 너무 적게 분비가 되면 남성에게 있어 여러 가지의 병의 원인이 된다. 이와 같은 테스토스테론은 남성의 무명지의 길이에 영향을 주는데 분비량에 비례하여 무명지의 길이가 검지에 비해 길어진다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 심장 질환자와 정상인의 무명지 길이와 검지 길이를 비교, 분석하여 무명지의 길이와 심장 질환의 상관관계를 분석하였다.

A Study on Welfare Satisfaction of the University Hospital Radiological Technologist (대학병원방사선사의 복지만족에 관한 연구)

  • This research is a study on the welfare satisfaction of radiological technologists in university hospital, and was conducted in order to analysis of welfare factors and improvements. The survey was conducted on radiological technologist of a university hospital in Gyeongnam from July 14th 2014 to August 14th 2014, and we analyzed 121 of the questionnaire, which was retrieved by distributing. As a result, we looked at the welfare level of satisfaction by welfare hospital factors, each of the satisfaction scores were living welfare supports($2.83{\pm}0.43$), financial supports($4.25{\pm}0.65$), housing supports($2.28{\pm}0.46$), educational supports($2.58{\pm}0.50$), health medical supports($3.02{\pm}0.56$), culture and leisure supports($2.79{\pm}0.45$), other welfare supports($2.70{\pm}0.48$) points. The level of satisfaction with the hospital welfare support factors of average score level it was analyzed. It is important that is providing effective hospital welfare through survey for hospital welfare needs and benchmarking of welfare system of general corporate.

The Study on Reduction of Hazardous Materials using Eco-friendly Charcoal Composite Sheet (친환경 활성탄 복합시트의 유해물질 저감 연구)

  • Recently, various environmentally friendly products have been developed for improving the indoor air quality while pursuing a well-being nature-friendly healthy life as a core value. In this research, we not only solve the problems of existing environmentally friendly paints, but also developed a charcoal composite seats that can reduce radon, which is a natural radioactive substance, and evaluated the reduction effect of radon, formaldehyde and volatile organic compounds. In the charcoal composite seats, a sodium silicate emulsion and charcoal were mixed to prepare an charcoal liquid coating material, and the composite seats was fabricated by air-spray coating method. In order to analyze the hazardous substance reduction performance of the fabricated charcoal composite seats, radon was designed to comply with the Ministry of the Environment standard, formaldehyde and volatile organic compounds were designed to comply with KCL-FIR-1085 standard. As a result of the experiment, the fabricated charcoal composite seats was evaluated as having a radon reduction capability of about 90.8% from 20 hours, formaldehyde and volatile organic compounds were 3 hours, and the reduction capability of 96.7% and 96.6% was found respectively. It is considered that these results can be utilized as basic data at the time of product development for improvement of indoor air quality.

  • Current medical institutions with the development of medical technology to the increased demand for health use of radiation equipment is increasing rapidly. Direct radiation from the patient receives the aim of reducing exposure as much as possible is important and the spatial dose of scattered radiation with in the space to engage in reducing healthcare physician, radiation workers and carers need to reduce indirect exposure. X-ray radiation workers and caregivers in the X-ray room to wearing of protective clothing is advised. However Radiation worker sand caregivers of patients with secondary is done, by wearing protective clothing to wear protective clothing because of the weight and discomfort have been neglected. In this study, based on the presence or absence of clothing scattered radiation from space to measure distances, depending on the horizontal and height by measuring the angle of the importance of wearing protective clothing were investigated.

Nutrition Knowledge and Utilization of Information on Fast Food of Secondary School Students (대도시 중.고등학생의 패스트푸드에 대한 영양지식 및 정보 활용)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate nutrition knowledge and utilization of information on fast food of secondary school students in the two biggest cities, Seoul and Busan. Questionnaires were distributed to a total of 1,265 students (645 at 10 middle schools, 620 at 10 high schools). An average rate of correct answers on nutrition knowledge of fast food was 73.4%. General nutrition knowledge on fast food showed high percentage of correct answers, but the knowledge of vitamin and fiber on fast food was of low percentage. The scores of nutrition knowledge, the fast food (ie. chicken, pizza, gimbab, dukbokki, and ramyon) intake group with $'{\geq}1$ time/week' showed significantly (p<0.01) lower scores than those of the group with $'{\leq}1$ time/month'. The groups with higher interest in health and weight control had significantly (p<0.05) higher scores on nutrition knowledge than those of lower interest groups. Only 19.6% of the subjects had the experience of using the nutrition information for selecting fast food, but 66% of them wanted the developments of the internet-sites to provide information on fast food and on the relationship between fast food and health.
