Abstract

현대 사회에서 심장 질환은 3대 사망요인 중 하나로 매우 위험한 질환으로 분류되고 있으며 이에 의한 사망률이 매년 증가하는 추세이다. 기존의 의학적 상식에 의하면 스테로이드계의 남성 호르몬인 테스토스테론은 심장 질환과 관련이 있다고 되어 있다. 테스토스테론은 남성에게 중요한 호르몬으로 적당량이 분비되어야 건강하지만 너무 적게 분비가 되면 남성에게 있어 여러 가지의 병의 원인이 된다. 이와 같은 테스토스테론은 남성의 무명지의 길이에 영향을 주는데 분비량에 비례하여 무명지의 길이가 검지에 비해 길어진다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 심장 질환자와 정상인의 무명지 길이와 검지 길이를 비교, 분석하여 무명지의 길이와 심장 질환의 상관관계를 분석하였다.
