'가구업계의 공룡'인 이케아가 한국에 상륙했다. 지난해 12월 18일 경기도 광명시 KTX역 인근에 첫 한국매장을 연 후 하루 3만명 이상의 인파가 운집하는 등 연일 화제를 뿌리고 있다. 10년 전만 해도 사람들의 발길이 잘 닿지 않았던 이 지역은 KTX 광명역 개통 후 주로 기차 승객들이 왕래했으나 최근 코스트코 광명점과 광명종합터미널, 롯데 프리미엄아웃렛이 개장되면서 점차 활기를 띄고 있으며, 이케아 광명점 개장을 계기로 경기도권 최대의 쇼핑특구로 성장할 전망이다. 이케아는 지난 1943년 스웨덴에서 설립된 이래 전세계 40개국 340여개 매장에서 가구뿐만 아니라 벽시계, 가방 등 인테리어 소품까지 약 9,500여 종의 물품을 판매하고 있으며, 전세계 직원수 15만명, 매장당 평균 매출 약 1,200억원에 이르는 다국적 대기업이다. 이케아는 또 유럽에서 눈부시게 성장하고 있는 에너지 기업 가운데 하나다. 전 세계에 풍력발전기 96대를 직접 설치해 전기를 생산한다. 또한 광명점에 3,000개를 비롯해 전 세계 100여개 매장에 태양광 패널 55만개를 설치했다. 생산된 전기는 공장과 매장에서 쓴다. 본지는 지난 해 11월 말 준공검사를 끝내고 개장 준비로 분주한 이케아 현장에서 기계설비 및 소방공사를 담당한 (주)정도설비 이대호 현장소장과 시공사인 대림산업의 공화석 설비부장을 만났다.

Occurrence of earthworms for turfgrass growing seasons and effect of earthworms by some plant extracts and plant oils in golf courses were investigated at the three locations golf courses in Korea 2005 to 2006. There were no differences in monthly occurrence of earthworm except Anseong Benest Golf Club, namely, Anseong Benest Golf Club was highly occurred in July in 2006. Density of earthworm was not different between fairway and rough in Dongrae Benest Golf Club (opened in 1971) while density was higher in rough than fairway in Anseong Benest Golf Club (opened in 1999) and Gapyeong Benest Golf Club (opened in 2000). In case of Gapyeong Benest Golf Club, earthworm density was higher in old courses than recently opened courses. Effect of plant extracts such as mustard oil, wintergreen oil, Quisqualis indica, Daphne genkwa, Pharbitis nil, Zingiber officinale, Xanthium strumarium, and Camellia sinensis on earthworm, mustard oil, wintergreen oil and tea saponin were highly toxic to earthworm, Eisenia andrei. In the pot experiment, 100% of Eisenia andrei was dead at the treatment of 500-fold of aquatic solution of tea saponin (12.4% a.i.).

With its foreign trade rapidly expanding and with economic growth continuing at a substantial rate, China has become the largest container traffic generating country in the world. And with trend of container ships becoming larger and faster, the environment surrounding ports in North-East Asia are rapidly changing. The Yangsan, offshore port for Shanghai, being developed on the islands of Da Yangsan and Xiao Yangsan, some 30km offshore, and connected to the mainland by the six-lane highway Donghai bridge, opened phase one in late 2005 and phase two in 2006 respectively and will have 29 berths by 2012 and be able to handle 15 million TEU. The Port of Shanghai which passed Busan in terms of container volume further consolidated its position as the world's No. 3 port with an annual volume of 21.7 million TEU in 2006 and is likely to have emerged as the biggest container port in the world. The Port of Busan, the world's fifth largest container port, wants to survive as regional hub port. In this circumstance, the strategies of the Port of Busan should be established.

As the environment surrounding ports is rapidly changing and ports competition in Southeast Asia has become more severe to secure cargo volumes, ports strive to enhance their competitiveness by improving the efficiency of operations. The operational efficiency of ports, plays a crucial role to improve a nation's. This study aims to analyze the efficiency of container port and its determinants during over five year(2006 to 2010) period using DEA-O and Tobit regression respectively. The results show that firstly, Gamman is the most efficient container terminal, followed by New Gamman container terminal and Hutchison Busan container terminal. Secondly, it is notable that the efficiency of Busan Newport is dramatically increasing, and finally, the yard productivity of the container port is only influencing determinant of all.

인천공항은 2001년 개항이후, 비약적으로 발전하고 있으며, 2018년 약 6500만 명의 여객을 수용하는 등 초대형 메가허브공항으로 도약 중이다. 2018년 인천공항은 제2여객터미널을 개장하며, 인천공항에 대한 언론과 대중의 관심을 증폭시켰고, 평창동계올림픽 개최와 남북정상회담을 통해 대한민국 중추공항으로서의 이미지를 각인시켰다. 인천국제공항공사는 인천공항의 건설 및 관리, 운영, 주변지역개발, 부대사업 및 기타 국가위탁사업을 하는 국토교통부 산하 공공기관으로 2018년 입국장 면세점 도입, 정규직 전환 등의 이슈를 생성하였다. 본 논문에서는 뉴스, SNS 수집, 저장, 처리, 분석플랫폼인 ITAP를 이용하여 인천공항, 인천국제공항공사 관련된 뉴스, SNS 내용을 플랫폼별로 분석하였고, 월별 버즈량과 주요키워드를 플랫폼별로 추출하여 2018년 인천공항, 인천국제공항공사의 주요 이슈를 제시한다.

Yangsan ICD (Inland Container Depot) has played an important role for Busan Port and Korea's port & logistics industries, increasing international logistics competitiveness and containers' transportation competitiveness in Busan region dealing with 1330 thousand TEU in 2005, since its opening in March 2000. However, it is necessary to seek new measures to revitalize Yangsan ICD, since its cargo volume decreased rapidly owing to the opening of Busan New Port and hinterland in 2006. This study constructed an evaluation model using AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) and conducted a survey targeting local businesses and persons concerned in Yangsan ICD to seek measures for revitalization. The results suggest that Yangsan ICD needs to switch functions to logistics centers (terminal facilities, logistics warehouse) for revitalization considering its advantage of facility location. Moreover, by extending the utilization period and securing building-to-land ratio, existing and new businesses' stable activity should be guaranteed. Furthermore, utilizing facilities such as the railway station in ICD, an active railway revitalization policy may increase cargo volume. Yangsan ICD should perform its role as an inland logistics depot through the revitalization of railway freight transportation in the national logistics system focusing on road freight transportation.

Recently, the development construction of New Masan Container Terminal (1-1 Phase) with private investment would be set for opening in the 2011 year in Masan Port, Korea However, as new container terminals of the Pusan New Port and 'the New Ulsan Container Terminal neighboring Masan Port will be also planned to open around the time, the strategy establishment for Masan Port is required for a keen competition among these ports. To provide it with strategic points, we applied SP model used for customers' behavior method to analyze customer's preference changes with the shifts of the ports' conditions for customers.
