Emotion Training: Image Color Transfer with Facial Expression and Emotion Recognition (감정 트레이닝: 얼굴 표정과 감정 인식 분석을 이용한 이미지 색상 변환)

  • We propose an emotional training framework that can determine the initial symptom of schizophrenia by using emotional analysis method through facial expression change. We use Emotion API in Microsoft to obtain facial expressions and emotion values at the present time. We analyzed these values and recognized subtle facial expressions that change with time. The emotion states were classified according to the peak analysis-based variance method in order to measure the emotions appearing in facial expressions according to time. The proposed method analyzes the lack of emotional recognition and expressive ability by using characteristics that are different from the emotional state changes classified according to the six basic emotions proposed by Ekman. As a result, the analyzed values are integrated into the image color transfer framework so that users can easily recognize and train their own emotional changes.

Effects of China's Country Image on Korean Consumer Attitudes and Purchase Intention (중국 국가이미지가 우리나라 소비자의 태도와 구매의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to apply the concepts discussed in the previous studies on the China's country image and its impact to the Korean market, to provide basic information about the characteristics of the Korean market for Chinese companies to enter the Korean market, and to provide suggestions related to the country image for Korean companies when they want to enter foreign markets. For this purpose, a survey of 265 college students and workers in Seoul was analyzed using SPSS 2.0 and AMOS 21. The results are as follows. First, the dimensions of China's country image were found to be composed of five factors: fundamental image, socioeconomic image, prestige image, relationships image, and affective image. Second, among the dimensions of China's country image, fundamental image, socioeconomic image, and affective image had a positive effect on product image, and prestige image had a negative effect. Third, affective image was found to have influence on the attitude towards the product. Fourth, China's overall product images appeared to influence consumer attitudes. Fifth, the consumer attitudes to Chinese products appeared to affect the purchase intention. Sixth, for the consumer group whose own consumer ethnocentrism is low, compared to high, images of Chinese products showed a more positive impact on consumer attitudes. In the conclusion, we discussed the implications derived from the empirical results and suggested for future research.

  • 현대인들은 학업, 취업, 업무, 장수 스트레스 등 연령대별로 다양한 환경 스트레스에 시달리고 있다. 특히 우리나라의 자살사망률은 OECD 국가 중 가장 높은 수준으로 최근 코로나19와 관련한 걱정과 두려움, 불안, 우울을 느끼는 국민이 늘어나면서 자살시도도 증가세에 있다. 치유농업은 이러한 다양한 사회문제를 해결하기 위한 대안으로 제시되고 있으며 농촌자원들을 활용하여 사람들에게 휴식처를 제공하고 기획된 프로그램을 통해 치유할 수 있어 그 만족도가 높게 나타나고 있다. 우리나라의 치유농업은 2020년 3월 치유농업 관련법이 제정되면서 본격적인 활성화가 예상되고 있으나 치유농업에 대한 다양한 학술적인 연구는 많이 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구의 목적은 치유농업 체험자를 대상으로 치유농업프로그램의 유형이 체험만족도에 미치는 영향을 조사하고, 기능적이미지와 감정적이미지가 매개역할을 하는지에 대해 분석하는데 있다. 본 연구에서는 독립변수에 치유농업프로그램의 대표적인 유형인 원예치유, 동물매개치유, 음식치유, 숲치유 4가지를 선정하였고 종속변수에 체험만족도를 선정하여 영향을 미칠 것이라는 인과적 경로를 검증하고자 한다. 또한, 기능적이미지와 감정적이미지의 매개효과를 중심으로 진행하고자 한다.

A User Sentiment Classification Using Instagram image and text Analysis (인스타그램 이미지와 텍스트 분석을 통한 사용자 감정 분류)

  • According to increasing SNS users and developing smart devices like smart phone and tablet PC recently, many techniques to classify user emotions with social network information are researching briskly. The use emotion classification stands for distinguishing its emotion with text and images listed on his/her SNS. This paper suggests a method to classify user emotions through sampling a value of a representative figure on a trigonometrical function, a representative adjective on text, and a canny algorithm on images. The sampling representative adjective on text is selected as one of high frequency in the samplings and measured values of positive-negative by SentiWordNet. Figures sampled on images are selected as the representative in figures; triangle, quadrangle, and circle as well as classified user emotions by measuring pleasure-unpleased values as a type of figures and inclines. Finally, this is re-defined as x-y graph that represents pleasure-unpleased and positive-negative values with wheel of emotions by Plutchik. Also, we are anticipating for applying user-customized service through classifying user emotions on wheel of emotions by Plutchik that is redefined the representative adjectives and figures.

The Structural Relationship between LOHAS Image, Well-being Menu, Emotional Response, Satisfaction and Loyalty of Hotel Restaurants (호텔레스토랑의 LOHAS 이미지, 웰빙메뉴, 감정 반응, 만족 및 충성도 간의 구조관계 분석)

  • Thus purpose of this study is to examine the structural relationship among the LOHAS image of hotel restaurants, customer well-being menu preference, emotional responses, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty. To test the hypotheses, a survey was conducted of luxury hotel customers in Busan and Seoul. Of the 400 questionnaires distributed 341 was used final analysis. For the hypotheses testing, frequency analysis, reliability and validity analyses SPSS was used while AMOS was employed to examine the relationship among the measured concepts. The results of testing are shown as follows: LOHAS image of hotel restaurants does have a positive effect on well-being propensity, as well as on customer emotional responses. The cooking function factor of well-being propensity results in a negative emotional responses, while the attractiveness factor of well-being propensity brings about a positive emotional responses. Emotional responses positively affect customer satisfaction, which then positively influences customer loyalty. The arising concept of LOHAS in the service industry can help to develop new menu items for LOHAS or well-being oriented customers. In particular, well-being menu propensity and emotional responses may become more important considerations in marketing strategy formation. This thesis provides a theoretical background of LOHAS image, well-being menu propensity, and emotional responses.

The Effect of Sports Brand Self-Image Congruity and Affect on Brand Attitude and Purchase Intension (스포츠 브랜드의 자아이미지 일치성과 감정이 브랜드태도와 구매의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship among self-image congruity, affect, brand attitude and purchase intention toward sports brands. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, totalling 329 students were recruited from several different university. Data were collected by using convenience sampling method. Research model and hypothesis testing were conducted by using SEM(structural equation modeling) through AMOS 18.0. The result were as follows; First, sports brand ideal self-image positively influenced on brand affect. Second, brand affect had significantly effect brand attitude and purchase intention. Third, brand attitude positively influenced purchase intention toward sports brands. The finding s also revealed effect of ideal self-image congruity in there relationships between self-image and brand affect.

A Study on the Effect of Care Farming Program on Satisfaction -Focused on the Mediating Effect of Functional Image and Emotional Image- (치유농업프로그램이 만족도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 -기능적 이미지와 감정적 이미지의 매개효과 중심으로-)

  • This study analyzed the effects of healing agriculture program types on program satisfaction by using functional image and emotional image of the program as mediators for the participants of healing agriculture program. The sub-variables of the healing agriculture program were classified into horticultural healing, animal healing, food healing, and forest healing. 328 questionnaires collected from the participants of healing agriculture program in the whole country were used for empirical analysis, which used SPSS v22.0 and PROCESS macro v3.4 to analyze the parallel multiple mediation model. First, Among the types of healing agriculture programs, animal healing, food healing, and forest healing had a positive (+) effect on functional image. Second, all types of healing agriculture program had a positive (+) effect on emotional image. Third, both functional and emotional images had a significant positive effect on satisfaction. Fourth, among the types of healing agriculture program, horticultural healing, animal healing, and forest healing had a significant effect on satisfaction, while food healing did not maintain the significant effect on satisfaction. Fifth, functional image mediated between healing agriculture program and satisfaction. Sixth, emotional image mediated between healing agriculture program type and satisfaction. In the next study, it is necessary to study for the adjustment of mediators other than the mediators introduced in this study or the controlled mediated analysis through the conditional process model in which the moderator variable is introduced.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the structural relationships among physical environment of coffee shops, brand image and revisit intention and to analyze the moderating effects of emotional responses. The results of this study are as follows: First, among physical environment, spatiality, cleanliness, comfortability and attractiveness had significant influences on brand image. Second, physical environment had significant influences on revisit intention. Third, brand image had significant influences on revisit intention. Fourth, emotional responses had moderating effects in the relationship between attractive factor and brand image. Finally, the conclusion section suggested strategic implications to induce physical environment, brand image, revisit intention and emotional responses based on the research findings.

Artificial Intelligence for Assistance of Facial Expression Practice Using Emotion Classification (감정 분류를 이용한 표정 연습 보조 인공지능)

  • In this study, an artificial intelligence(AI) was developed to help with facial expression practice in order to express emotions. The developed AI used multimodal inputs consisting of sentences and facial images for deep neural networks (DNNs). The DNNs calculated similarities between the emotions predicted by the sentences and the emotions predicted by facial images. The user practiced facial expressions based on the situation given by sentences, and the AI provided the user with numerical feedback based on the similarity between the emotion predicted by sentence and the emotion predicted by facial expression. ResNet34 structure was trained on FER2013 public data to predict emotions from facial images. To predict emotions in sentences, KoBERT model was trained in transfer learning manner using the conversational speech dataset for emotion classification opened to the public by AIHub. The DNN that predicts emotions from the facial images demonstrated 65% accuracy, which is comparable to human emotional classification ability. The DNN that predicts emotions from the sentences achieved 90% accuracy. The performance of the developed AI was evaluated through experiments with changing facial expressions in which an ordinary person was participated.

In-Store's Servicescapes and Consumer's Responses in Restaurant (레스토랑 내부 서비스환경과 소비자반응)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine consumer's cognitive, affective and behavioral responses to in-store's servicescapes in restaurant by confirming the effect of service environment factors such as ambient, layout, interior and auditory on perceived service quality and image as cognitive responses, and the effect of perceived service quality and image on affective satisfaction as affective response, and the effect of affective satisfaction on repurchase intention as a behavioral responses. To this end, the research hypothesis was verified by structural equation model analysis using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 20.0 statistical packages. The results of study are as follows. First, ambient environment, interior environment and auditory environment had significant influence on perceived service quality, but interior environment had no effect. Second, ambient environment and layout environment had a significant influence on the image, while the interior environment and auditory environment had no effect. Third, perceived service quality had a significant effect on emotional satisfaction, but had no effect on image and repurchase intention. Finally, image had a significant effect on emotional satisfaction and repurchase intention. Therefore, the marketing manager of the restaurant will need to plan and implement a service marketing strategy that will increase consumers' visit by enhance the perceived service quality level by improving ambient environment, layout environment and auditory environment, and increase image by improving ambient environment and layout environment.
