This study examined the correlation of educational experience with practical behavior in infection control. Subjects were 152 dental hygienists in Gwangju from September 15 to October 5, 2015. The ratio of dental hygienists educated on infection control was higher in those worked in dental care with 2~4 dentist for 2~5 years and lower in those worked in dental cared with 1 dentist for 2~5 years (p<0.05, p<0.001). The dental hygienists with or without educational experience in infection control exhibited the highest activity rate in hand wash and the lowest in face protection. Barrier in health belief, was lower with the need for education in infection control among the factors affecting on the activity in infection control. The activity was higher with susceptibility and cue to action (p<0.05). Based on the results, education program on infection control should be developed, and applied periodically and obligatorily for dentist and all staffs of dental care to remove susceptibility and barrier, and to enhance cue to action. This will result the effective control of infection by elevating the health belief.
Purpose: This study aims to identify the knowledge, risk perception, fear, self-efficacy, and preventive behaviors among nursing students, and factors influencing preventive behaviors on COVID-19. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the differences in preventive health behaviors of school-age children according to their mothers' health beliefs and attitudes toward the prevention of infectious diseases. Methods: This study was conducted with 121 pairs of 4th to 6th grade elementary school children and their mothers from October 13 to October 30, 2020. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, an independent t-test, a one-way ANOVA, Sheffé's test, Pearson's correlation coefficient analysis and a multiple linear regression. Result: The mean and SD of mother's health belief in preventing infectious diseases was 3.58±0.41, the mean and SD of mother's attitude toward preventing infectious diseases was 3.39±0.38, and the mean and SD of late school-age children's preventive health behavior was 3.52±0.37. The multiple linear regression results show that the children's vaccination behavior was influenced by their mothers' perceived benefits in preventing infectious diseases. In addition, the child's vitamin C and vegetable consumption was influenced by the mother's perceived susceptibility in preventing infectious diseases, and the child's mask-wearing behavior was influenced by the mother's perceived seriousness in preventing infectious diseases. Conclusion: In order to improve the health behavior of school-aged children, programs or education are required to enhance the health beliefs and attitudes of their mothers, who were shown to affect the preventive health behavior of their children.

Purpose: This study was conducted to find out how much female university students knew about cervical cancer and Human papillomavirus (HPV) and to develop preventive behavior strategies for HPV infection. Method: In total, 511 students were involved and the assessment was done by means of cervical cancer knowledge questions, HPV knowledge questions and Alert questions. Result: The value regarding the knowledge of cervical cancer and of HPV turned out lower than the median while the degree of HPV prevention behavior intention was approximately mean. The values of the three variables, i.e. the knowledge of cervical cancer, knowledge of HPV, and the degree of preventive behavior intention were higher proportionately, showing a statistically significant difference, as the age of the subjects went higher, as long as they were nursing majors, and were more knowledgeable about HPV (p<.05). The three variables correlated positively (p<.05). Conclusion: Since the lack of knowledge with regard to cervical cancer and HPV is seen to cause a certain portion of female students to be vulnerable to the disease and lead them to a low degree of prevention, it is highly recommended to organize systematic sex education and thereby increase the willingness for preventive actions.
For health care professionals(HCPs) who have relatively higher possibility of exposing tuberculosis(Tb), it is important for them to equip with proper levels of knowledge and prevention activities. In terms of establishment of Tb education model for junior HCPs, therefore, literature review was done alongside 129 junior HCPs and 14 HCPs were asked to answer questionnaires and telephone survey. The results are follows.; Firstly, six educational themes such as epidermiology of Tb, Tb transmission and patho-physiology, test and diagnosis, latent Tb, Tb treatment, and Tb prevention were identified, based on the literature review. Secondly, the junior HCPs showed lower levels of knowledge regarding epidermiology, transmission and patho-physiology and latent Tb, compared to the other themes. When education courses are planned, longer period of time should be given to the lower level of knowledge areas. Thirdly, the HCPs emphasized that definition and type of Tb should be well integrated into the education in particular epidermiology education. They also responded that hospital infection and infection cycle of Tb need to be addressed during educational session about transmission and patho-physiology. in addition, they said that specific and detailed contents about diagnosis and group examination should be carefully delivered during the education, along with diagnosis, test and application of personal protective devices during education of latent Tb. They also answered that patient education and adverse effect of Tb medication should be taught during Tb treatment session, as well as self activities of health promotion for junior HCPs and systematic TB education as key way of Tb prevention. As the findings were from limited numbers of respondents and contained the sampling bias, the result has to be carefully interpretated prior to generalization. Therefore, further survey with larger study population is required in terms of development of Tb education model.
The purpose of this study was to find the influential factors of nursing students' behavioral intention of Recommended Immunizations for Healthcare Personnel(RIHP). The survey was performed on 260 nursing students. Data were collected using a structured questionnaires and analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and hierarchical regression with SPSS 23.0 program. Results of this study revealed that the influential factors on the behavioral intention of RIHP were the cues to action, self-efficacy, perceived benefits and senior grade. And the explanation power of the regression model appeared as being 36.4%(F=13.35, p<.001). Based on the study findings, further development and application of specific programs to improve nursing students' intention of RIHP in consideration of grade, to emphasize benefits of immunization, are needed to prevent infection in clinical practice.

The Internet continues to grow and develop, but there are going to generate a variety of Internet attacks that exploit it. In the initial Internet environment, the attackers maliciously exploited Internet environments for ostentations and hobbies. but these days many malicious attempts purpose the financial gain so systematic and sophisticated attacks that are associated with various crimes are occurred. The structures, such as viruses and worms were present in the form of one source multi-target before. but recently, APT(Advanced Persistent Threat, intelligent continuous attacks) in the form of multi-source single target is dealing massive damage. The performance evaluation analyzed whether to generate audit data and detect integrity infringement, and false positives for normal traffic, process detecting and blocking functions, and Agent policy capabilities with respect to the application availability.

Purpose: The purpose of the study was to identify the factors affecting the practice of COVID-19 infection preventive behaviors in university students focusing on the extended health beliefs model (HBM) and the theory of planned behavior (TPB). Methods: Data was collected from November 1, 2021 to November 30, 2021. The participants were 180 university students at 3 universities. The data was analyzed through the independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffé test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression by using SPSS/WIN 24.0. Results: In the first stage of hierarchical regression analysis, it was shown that perceived barrier and self-efficacy, among the HBM variables, were significant factors, explaining 18.4% of the infection preventive behaviors (F=7.73, p<.001). In the 2nd stage, it was shown that self-efficacy, among the TPB variables, was a significant factor, explaining 15.3% of the infection preventive behaviors (F=11.80, p<.001). In the 3rd stage, it was shown that perceived barrier and self-efficacy, among the HBM and TPB variables, were significant factors, explaining 18.5% of the infection preventive behaviors (F=6.08, p<.001). Conclusion: When an effective infection preventive behavior program is developed and provided for students to improve their self-efficacy and reduce perceived barrier based on the results, it will contribute to the improvement of infection prevention behaviors among university students.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to test hand hygiene behavior model of hospital nurses, based on theory of planned behavior. Methods: Data were collected from 253 nurses from four university hospitals for the period of December 2010 to January 2011. Data were analyzed using of SAS (ver.9.1). Fitness of the study model was identified with SAS PROC CALIS. Results: The overall fitness was $x^2$=57.81 (df=13, $p$ <.001), GFI=.99, AGFI=.99, CFI=.95, NFI=.93. The variance of actual implementation of hand hygiene by predictor variables was 11.0% and the variance of intention to hand hygiene was 53.5%. Variable that had a direct effect on hand hygiene behavior was intention. Perceived behavior control and attitude affected hand hygiene behavior indirectly. Control belief had a direct effect on perceived behavior control and had an indirect effect on intention and behavior. Behavioral belief had a direct effect on attitude and an indirect effect on intention and behavior. Conclusion: The study provides basic information for understanding nurses' hand hygiene behavior. Further testing of the model will indicate which variables can contribute to improved hand hygiene.
