유통경로상의 갈등과 거래성과에 관한 연구

  • One of the most important things in channel of distribution is the management of intrachannel conflict. In this study, I tried to find out the major sources of conflict among distribution channel members of petroleum industry and home electronic industry which have two types of distribution channels - sales branch and agency, and also investigate how the level of conflict influence the business performance. The results of the study showed that the imbalance of power, nonfulfillment of roles by manufacturers, nonfulfillment of roles by dealer, divergence in perceptions, intrachannel communication noise have positive relation but role clarity has negative relation with conflict. The results indicate that the more power manufacturer exerts upon dealer, the less manufacturer and dealer practice their roles, and the more communications noise there is, there will be more conflict between channel members. I also analyzed the relationship between conflict and business performance and the result came out as expected, the more conflict there is the less business performance. Little difference was found in sales branch and agency on that aspect.

  • Korean card firms suffered harsh setbacks due to high credit defaults in 2002 and 2003, after issuing cards recklessly. Their key principle is changed to grow without damaging profitability and financial soundness. However, competition in the credit card market is heating up rapidly. Bank-affiliated card firms, having stronger sales networks and more capital than independent issuers, have increased their investments in card affiliates in a bid to develop new cash cows. Moreover, newly emerging independent card firms have waged fiercer campaigns to raise their credit card market share. In order to overcome these business conditions, S-card has settled on a strategy that focuses on stepping up marketing aimed at increasing charge card spending rather than credit card loans or cash lending services. Accordingly, S-card reformed the current business classification system of merchants, which was out-of-dated and originally built for the purpose of deciding merchant service fees only. They also drove customer segmentation planning to deliver the right customers to the right merchants. In this paper, we emphasize the problems of business classification systems of merchants with which most credit card firms have faced, and the need for reforming them not only to provide customer-tailored services but also to raise their business promotion excellence by reviewing S-card's process of customer segmentation.

  • 기업이 제공하는 데이터와 서비스들은 분산된 환경에서 독립적으로 관리됨으로써 데이터 공유 및 통합에 있어서 어려움이 있다. 분산 이기종 간의 시스템 통합과 데이터 통합을 공유함으로써 편리함과 효율성을 증가시키고 이런 환경에서 가맹점의 특성에 맞는 지능적 추천을 할 수 있는 연구가 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 웹 서비스 기반의 분산 이기종 환경에서 B2B e-Marketplace 시스템에서 가맹정들의 사이트를 수정 없이 통합하는 시스템과 가맹점 특성에 맞는 상품 추천과 더 나아가 온톨로지를 적응하며 공급 수요량을 예측하는 추천 방법을 제안한다.

  • Domestic franchise industry is growing rapidly as a promising business in 21st century and also ordinary people business. Domestic franchise headquarters and franchisees have increased exponentially. However, because of tough competition in the industry, headquarters' lack o fawareness of recruiting and managing franchisees, and reckless expansion strategy for the structural problem of profit structure and lack of experts, systematic management and support system are not going well. For these reasons, the need of franchisee management system is growing up in this industry. Domestic franchise industry is focused on appearance, the volume, while absence and lowness of internal management systems are making stores shut down and conflicts proving necessity of management system. In this study, we find and study the way to compensate these problems and systematize by cooperating within surance companies to manage franchisees, and eventually to be able to set up and use new systems including franchise management system, initial services, on goin gservices, lega lservices, tax services, labor services, and financial analysis and planning services.

A Study on the Effect of Delivery App Usage Properties of Food service Franchisee on the Satisfaction, Business Performance and Intention of Reusing

  • In this paper, We Propose a ways how franchise service of delivery app should be made by analyzing the effect of delivery app usage properties of food service franchisee on satisfaction, business performance and intention of reusing, and suggest support plan of delivery app for franchise by food service franchisee. This study conducted survey on 212 franchises that have experience using delivery app among food service franchisees. To verify the hypothesis of the study, single regression and multiple regression analysis were conducted for verifying the relationship between variables. Key results of the study are as follows. First, it was found that the delivery app usage properties of food service franchisee had a positive relationship with satisfaction. Second, it was found that the delivery app usage properties of food service franchisee had positive relationship with business performance. Third, the satisfaction was found to affect business performance. Fourth, it was found that the satisfaction didn't affect the intention of reusing, and business performance was found to have a positive effect on the intention of reusing. It is necessary to increase the satisfaction of using of franchises through continuous management and reasonable pricing policies, and the headquarter of franchisee should be able to contribute to energetic sales of franchises through effective cooperation with delivery app companies.

The Effects of Fast-Food Franchisor's Proactiveness, Innovation, Risk-taking on Affective Commitment, Franchisee's External Representation and Service Delivery (프랜차이즈 본사의 기업가 지향성이 본사와 가맹점 간의 정서적 결속과 가맹점의 외부대표와 서비스이행에 미치는 영향: 패스트푸드를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify whether franchisee-perceived franchisor's proactiveness, innovativeness and risk-taking affect franchisee-perceived affective commitment with franchisor, and the affective commitment affects franchisee-perceived external representation and service delivery. Based on total 280 samples obtained from owners or managers of franchise fast-food restaurants in located in Yeongnam province, the research findings are as follows. Firstly, the innovativeness and risk-taking positively affect the affective commitment. Secondly, the affective commitment positively affects external representation and service delivery. But proactiveness does not affect the affective commitment significantly. These findings imply that firstly, franchisor should investigate consumer trends periodically and develop new successful menus and services more than competitors do, and implement new marketing techniques innovatively towards these menus and services. Secondly, franchisor had better adopt high return/risk strategies because of deepened competition and do bold decisions of price change etc. Also, in order to increase proactiveness, franchisor needs to launch new menus and services earlier than competitors and occupy market in advance, which strengthens affective commitment with franchisees. Thirdly, in order to increase affective commitment with franchisees, franchisor needs to match franchisor's value with franchisee's value and same value means same objective. Lastly, limitations and further research directions are also discussed.

A Study on Data Reference Model for a Cost Management System on Small Business Food Franchise (소형외식프랜차이즈업체의 원가관리시스템을 위한 데이터참조모델에 대한 연구)

  • Though the number of food franchises has been increased these days, there has not been less success for food franchise than failure. One of the several failures is the distrust between franchisor and franchisee factors because the franchisee thought its franchisor does not make its accounts and operations transparent. In order to resolve it, the large business food franchise has used the ERP system, however, small business franchise has run a very simple information system, which is linked to POS system and consists of simple functions to insert or inquire the result of data on sales and order etc to identify the status of both franchisor and franchisee because of financial difficulties and manpower shortage. Thus, small business franchise needs the cost management between them with low cost for efficient business administration. In this study, we suggest the data reference model (DRM) which covers the cost management system and is able to be linked to any POS system. The DRM is a framework whose primary purpose is to enable information linking and reuse across the any POS-based information systems via the classification, structure, model, exchange and management of data.

  • Due to the recent changes in the education market and Corona, Consumers have moved to the tutoring and online learning markets, and the large-scale education service franchise business is reorganized into a small-scale franchise, a business model that maximizes the profit structure from a position where sales are important. Recently, a new learning balance model that can provide individualized services from teacher-centered to student-centered, motivate students is required. In this paper, we propose a new mathematical franchise model (K-MODEL) that can improve a company's profit structure while satisfying the recent education trends and consumer needs from the point of view of the franchise. K-MODEL expects franchisor and franchisees to have a stable profit structure by developing differentiated content and services, learning and operating processes, and various programs to improve learning achievement.

The Mediating Effects on Relationship Quality Between Support Services of Franchisor and Re-Contract Intention in Food Service Franchise (외식 프랜차이즈 가맹본부 지원서비스와 재계약 의도 간의 관계품질의 매개효과에 관한 연구)

  • This paper aims to investigate the moderating effects of relationship quality between support services of food service franchisor and performance(re-contract intention) in food service franchise. For analyzing the relationship of them, the support services of food service franchisor categorized with initial service and continuous service. Also, the factors of relationship quality(satisfaction, trust, commitment) classified into detailed subfactor by confirmatory factor analysis. As a result, we found some statistically significant effects between the support services of food service franchisor and factors of relationship quality, and they sequentially affects to re-contract intention. Also, it's analyzed that factors of relationship quality have a role as a moderating variables by research model. That is, as a presented with previous research, there is verified that relationship quality is caused by support services of food service franchisor. Also, relationship quality factors significantly affect to performance(re-contract intention). Some guidelines for practicing potential food service franchise as a result of this would include; first of all, it is important to support the potential food service franchise consulting approach for some competitive advantage; secondly, effective governmental support programs for food service franchise should be developed for positive impacts of according to these results.

A proposal for improvement of the business supporting poorly-fed children using mobile payment and information delivery platform (모바일 결제 및 정보제공 플랫폼을 활용한 결식아동 급식지원 사업 개선 제안)

  • 결식아동 급식지원 사업은 소년소녀 가장 등 결식우려가 있는 미성년 아동/청소년에게 꿈나무 카드를 활용하여 급식을 지원하는 사업이다. 여기서 꿈나무 카드란, 학교 바깥에서 급식에 준하는 식사를 할 수 있도록 서울시에서 발급하는 결식아동용 카드로 2017년 기준 317,234명이 사용하고 있다. 그러나 잔액조회 기능 등이 없어 사용이 불편하고, 카드 사용에 대한 사람들의 시선으로 아동/청소년이 카드 사용을 꺼려 하고 있다. 또한 카드 사용이 가능한 가맹점 정보의 미제공으로 카드 이용이 활성화되지 않고 있어, 이에 대한 개선으로 모바일 결제와 가맹점 정보를 제공하는 플랫폼 개발을 제안하게 되었다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 저자가 실제 개발하여 테스트 중인 모바일 결제와 가맹점 정보제공 서비스, 향후 제로 페이 연동에 대한 기술 검토 내용, 관리자 계정/시스템 구축을 통해 원활한 정보처리를 제안한다. 향후 연구 과제인 지자체별 결식아동 카드와의 통합을 제안하기 위해 플랫폼 개념을 기능 구성도에 반영하였다.
