  • We investigate the non-existence of finite order transcendental entire solutions of Fermat-type differential-difference equations [f(z)f'(z)]n + P2(z)fm(z + 𝜂) = Q(z) and [f(z)f'(z)]n + P(z)[∆𝜂f(z)]m = Q(z), where P(z) and Q(z) are non-zero polynomials, m and n are positive integers, and 𝜂 ∈ ℂ \ {0}. In addition, we discuss transcendental entire solutions of finite order of the following Fermat-type differential-difference equation P2(z) [f(k)(z)]2 + [αf(z + 𝜂) - 𝛽f(z)]2 = er(z), where $P(z){\not\equiv}0$ is a polynomial, r(z) is a non-constant polynomial, α ≠ 0 and 𝛽 are constants, k is a positive integer, and 𝜂 ∈ ℂ \ {0}. Our results generalize some previous results.

  • In this paper, we introduce and investigate two new subclasses of p-valent analytic functions of complex order defined by using q-p-valent Bernardi integral operator. Also we obtain coefficient estimates and consequent inclusion relationships involving the (q, m, 𝛿)-neighborhoods of these subclasses.

  • In this paper we continue to investigate the Super Vertex Mean behaviour of all graphs up to order 5 and all regular graphs up to order 7. Let G(V,E) be a graph with p vertices and q edges. Let f be an injection from E to the set {1,2,3,${\cdots}$,p+q} that induces for each vertex v the label defined by the rule $f^v(v)=Round\;\left({\frac{{\Sigma}_{e{\in}E_v}\;f(e)}{d(v)}}\right)$, where $E_v$ denotes the set of edges in G that are incident at the vertex v, such that the set of all edge labels and the induced vertex labels is {1,2,3,${\cdots}$,p+q}. Such an injective function f is called a super vertex mean labeling of a graph G and G is called a Super Vertex Mean Graph.

  • In this paper, we investigate the differential-difference equation $(f(z+c)-f(z))^2+P(z)^2(f^{(k)}(z))^2=Q(z)$, where P(z), Q(z) are nonzero polynomials. In addition, we also investigate Fermat type q-difference differential equations $f(qz)^2+(f^{(k)}(z))^2=1$ and $(f(qz)-f(z))^2+(f^{(k)}(z))^2=1$. If the above equations admit a transcendental entire solution of finite order, then we can obtain the precise expression of the solution.

  • By applying various known summation theorems to a general transformation formula based upon Bailey's transformation theorem due to Slater, Exton has obtained numerous and new quadratic transformations involving hypergeometric functions of order greater than two(some of which have typographical errors). We aim at first deriving a general quadratic transformation formula due to Exton and next providing a list of quadratic formulas(including the corrected forms of Exton's results) and some more results.

  • Boundary value problems are common in nature. Here we restrict our attention to the second order differential equations of the form $$ (1.1) \frac{d^2 y}{dx^2} = P(x)y(x) + Q(x), 0 \leq x \leq 1, $$ $$ y(0) = \alpha, $$ $$ y(1) = \beta, $$ where P(x) and Q(x) are continuous functions with $P(x) \geq 0, x \in [0, 1]$.

  • In this paper, the fractional Hardy-type operator of variable order ${\beta}(x)$ is shown to be bounded from the Herz-Morrey spaces $M\dot{K}^{{\alpha},{\lambda}}_{p_1,q_1({\cdot})}(\mathbb{R}^n)$ with variable exponent $q_1(x)$ into the weighted space $M\dot{K}^{{\alpha},{\lambda}}_{p_2,q_2({\cdot})}(\mathbb{R}^n,{\omega})$, where ${\omega}=(1+|x|)^{-{\gamma}(x)}$ with some ${\gamma}(x)$ > 0 and $1/q_1(x)-1/q_2(x)={\beta}(x)/n$ when $q_1(x)$ is not necessarily constant at infinity. It is assumed that the exponent $q_1(x)$ satisfies the logarithmic continuity condition both locally and at infinity that 1 < $q_1({\infty}){\leq}q_1(x){\leq}(q_1)+$ < ${\infty}(x{\in}\mathbb{R}^n)$.

  • In this work, we introduce a new subclass of analytic functions of complex order involving the (p, q)-derivative operator defined in the open unit disc. For this class, several Fekete-Szegö type coefficient inequalities are derived. We obtain the results of Srivastava et al. [22] as consequences of the main theorem in this study.

  • When $\tau$ is a quasi-definite moment functional on P, the vector space of all real polynomials, we consider a symmetric bilinear form $\phi(\cdot,\cdot)$ on $P \times P$ defined by $$ \phi(p,q) = \lambad p(a)q(a) + \mu p(b)q(b) + <\tau,p'q'>, $$ where $\lambda,\mu,a$, and b are real numbers. We first find a necessary and sufficient condition for $\phi(\cdot,\cdot)$ and show that such orthogonal polynomials satisfy a fifth order differential equation with polynomial coefficients.
