We introduce and investigate the notions of super (g,g')-continuous functions and strongly $\theta$(g,g')-continuous functions on generalized topological spaces, which are strong forms of (g,g')-continuous functions. We also investigate relationships among such the functions, (g,g')-continuity and (${\delta},{\delta}'$)-continuity.

We introduce the notion of R($g$, $g^{\prime}$)-continuity on generalized topological spaces, which is a strong form of ($g$, $g^{\prime}$)-continuity. We investigate some properties and relationships among R($g$, $g^{\prime}$)-continuity, ($g$, $g^{\prime}$)-continuity and some strong forms of ($g$, $g^{\prime}$)-continuity.

We show that if $f_{i}$:$X_{i}$ longrightarrow Y is strongly continuous(resp. weakly continuous, set connected, compact, feebly continuous, almost-continuous, strongly $\theta$-continuous, $\theta$-continuous, g-continuous, V-map), then F : $X_1 \bigoplus X_2$longrightarrow Y is strongly continuous(resp.weakly continuous, set connected, compact, feebly continuous, almost-continuous, strongly $\theta$-continuous, $\theta$-continuous, g-continuous, V-map).

In order to develop the whey beverage, we examined the optimum conditions for alcohol fermentation by Kluyveromyces tragilis ATCC 46537. The optimum conditions for alcohol production by K. fragilis ATCC 46537 were as follows; pH 4.5, $30^{\cir}C$, with a supplement of 50 g/l of lactose. To develop a continuous production of alcohol from whey, we compared batch fermentation with continuous iermentation in conjunction with UF system. Batch fermentation produced 11.0 g/l of alcohol, whereas pseudocontinuous and continuous fermentation with UF system produced 8.5 g/l of alcohol. To increase the alcohol production, we added 50 g/l of lactose to both fermentations. Batch fermentation with lactose supplement produced 15.7 g/l of alcohol and continuous fermentation with lactose supplement in conjunction with UF system produced 15.0 g/l of alcohol. These results clearly demonstrate that the UF system can be used to increase the alcohol production from whey, supplemented with exogenous lactose.

In this paper we introduce ${\pi}G{\alpha}$-LC sets, ${\pi}G{\alpha}-LC^*$ sets and ${\pi}G{\alpha}-LC^{**}$ sets and different notions of generalizations of continuous functions in topological space and discuss some of their properties. Further we prove pasting lemma for ${\pi}G{\alpha}-LC^{**}$ continuous functions and ${\pi}G{\alpha}-LC^{**}$ irresolute functions.

본 논문에서는 LoG scale-space를 이용한 그레이스케일 영상에서 연속패턴 라인 중심축 검출 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법은 LoG의 스케일 크기를 적응적으로 가변하여 라인 중심축을 검출하는 방법이다. 작은 스케일의 LoG 연산자는 라인의 에지점에서 영교차 특성이 나타나며, 영교차점을 중심으로 좌우에 +/- 극성을 가진 극점이 존재하게 된다. 즉 일정한 폭을 가지는 라인은 양쪽 가장자리에서 2개의 +극점을 가지게 된다. LoG의 확산동작을 반복함에 따라 스케일을 증가시키면 +극점은 라인 양쪽 에지영역에서 중심영역으로 이동하여 점진적으로 가까워져서 최종적으로 하나의 극점으로 중첩되어진다. 연속패턴 라인 중심축은 2개의 +극점이 중심영역에서 중첩되는 점이다. 제안하는 방법은 기존의 이진영상에서 적용되는 세선화 방법보다 강인하게 연속패턴 라인 중심축을 검출함을 확인하였다.

Ethanol production using glycerol as a carbon source was performed by Enterobacter aerogenes immobilized on calcium alginate beads. To improve the ethanol production, the optimal conditions such as loading amount of immobilized cells and glycerol concentration were investigated. The optimal loading amount of immobilized cells and glycerol concentration were 10 mL of calcium alginate bead and 10 g/L, respectively. Consequently, glycerol consumption rate, ethanol concentration and yield were 0.32 g/$L{\cdot}h$, 3.38 g/L and 0.43 g/g on the batch production, respectively. Continuous production of ethanol was successfully achieved using two types of immobilized cell reactors (continuous stirred tank reactor and packed bed reactor) from 10 g/L of glycerol. In the continuous stirred tank reactor, glycerol consumption, ethanol concentration, specific productivity and yield were 9.8 g, 4.67 g/L, 1.17 g/$L{\cdot}h$, 0.48 g/g, respectively. The concentration of produced ethanol was 38-44% higher comparison to batch fermentation, and continuous stirred tank reactor showed better performance than packed bed reactor.

In this paper, we investigate some properties of ${\theta}$-($\mathcal{G}$, $\mathcal{H}$)-continuous functions in a grill topological spaces. Moreover, the relationships with other related functions are investigated.

Let Act(G, X) be the set of all continuous actions of a finitely generated group G on a compact metric space X. In this paper, we study the concepts of topologically stable points and continuous shadowable points of a group action T ∈ Act(G, X). We show that if T is expansive then the set of continuous shadowable points is contained in the set of topologically stable points.

Effects of temperature on the gorwth characteristics and the chemical composition of pseudomonas cells grown under glucose-or methanol-utilizing continuous culture were studied. In a glucose-utilizing continuous culture, optimum dilution rate, agitation, pH, and temperature, for the higher biomass yield were $0.45hr^-$, 7000rpm, pH 7.5, and $30^{\circ}C$, respectively. But in a methanol-utilizing continuous culture, they were $0.125hr^-$, 600rpm, pH 8, and $30^{\circ}C$, respectively. In methanol-utilizing continuous culture, the maximum production rate of the cells was 1.48g, dry wt./1/hr at a dilution rate of $0.45hr^-$, and the cell yield was 0.46g. dry wt./g. glucose. In the methanol-utilizaing continuous culture, the maximum production rate of the cells was 0.33 7g. dry wt./1/hr. at a dilution rate of $0.125hr^-$ and the cell yield was 0.44g dry cell/g. methanol. The contents of protein of the cells increase with the increase ingrowing temperature (from 15 to $30^{\circ}C$), more or less, while the contents of RNA nad carbohydrate of the cells decreased. However, DNA contents of cells growth under the various temperature ranges didn't change. As the temeprature of cultivation rises at a constant dilution rate, the efficiency of RNA in protein synthesis was increased, showing the decreases in the ratio of RNA to protein.
