The sapphire orientation dependence of the crystallization of ZnO thin films has been studied using real-time synchrotron x-ray scattering. The amorphous ZnO thin films with a 2400-${\AA}$-thick were grown on sapphire(110) and sapphire(001) substrates by radio frequency magnetron sputtering at room temperature. The amorphous ZnO films were crystallization into epitaxial ZnO(002) grains both on the sapphire(110) and on the sapphire(001) substrates. The epitaxial quality, such as mosaic distribution and crystal domain size, of the ZnO grains on the sapphire(110) is high, similar to that of the ZnO grains on the sapphire(001). With increasing the annealing temperature to 600$^{\circ}C$, the mosaic distribution and the crystal domain size of ZnO(002) grains in the film normal direction was improved and decreased, respectively.

A study has been made of preferred orientation, crose sectional microstructure, surface morphology and mechanical properties of copper foils fabricated by electrodeposition on 304 stainless steel plate from copper sulfate baths for high speed plating. The preferred orientation of the copper foils changed from the [110] to the [111] to ture with decreasing bath temperature and increasing cathode current density. The foils with the [110] texture had the field oriented texture type structure and the surface of many asperities grooved approximately perpendicular to the subtrate. A specimen with the [111]+[311] texture had the lower strength than one with the [10] texture, if they were obtained under similar electrolysis conditions.

The effect of the cross-rolling on the evolution of the deformation texture and the subsequent annealing texture was studied in 5182 aluminium alloy. The orientation density near {011}<110>. The weak ${\beta}$-fiber orientations in the deformation texture lead to the randomization of the annealing texture, whereas the strong ${\beta}$-fiber orientations lead to the strong Cube orientation in the annealing texture. The development of the strong rotated Cube orientation in the annealing texture seemed to be related with the decrease in the R-value.
Al-rich Mg-Al spinel single crystals were grown by Verneuil process using oxygen and hydrogen flame. Spinel single crystals were grown in chemical compositions from MgO : Al2O3 mole ratio 1 : 1 to 1 : 3. Mole ratio 1 : 1 was hard to be grown and mole ratio 1 : 2.5 and 1 : 3 were grown well. Selecting well-grown mole ratio 1 : 3, seeds were prepared having [100], [110] and [111] orientation respectively. Growth rate were highest in [100] orientation and lowest in [111] orientation.
In order to analyze the effect of hot asymmetric rolling on the microstructure and texture of aluminum alloy and to investigate the effect of the texture on the formability and plastic anisotropy of aluminum alloy, aluminum 6061 alloy is asymmetrically rolled at room temperature, $200^{\circ}C$, $350^{\circ}C$, and $500^{\circ}C$, and the results are compared with symmetrically rolled results. In the case of asymmetric rolling, the equivalent strain (${\varepsilon}_{eq}$) is greatest in the upper roll part where the rotational speed of the roll is high and increases with increasing rolling temperature. The increase rate of the mean misorientation angle with increasing temperature is larger than that during symmetrical rolling, and dynamic recrystallization occurs the most when asymmetrical rolling is performed at $500^{\circ}C$. In the case of hot symmetric rolling, the {001}<110> rotated cube orientation mainly develops, but in the case of hot asymmetric rolling, the {111}<110> orientation develops along with the {001}<100> cube orientation. The hot asymmetric rolling improves the formability (${\bar{r}}$) of the aluminum 6061 alloy to 0.9 and reduces the plastic anisotropy (${\Delta}r$) to near zero due to the {111}<110> shear orientation that develops by asymmetric rolling.
The standard map for polyerystalline $YBa_2Cu_3O_7$-X was construeted and indexed from pressed tape sintered bulk and compressed bulk samples were drawn by the [001-110-110] stereographie quadrant map and by the ECPs from individual grains of the speeimens. The relationship between the (001) texture development and critical current density (Jc) for various samples was discussed. An (001) orintation was preferred in the pressed tape thickness was decreased. and in the compressed bulk as the compression strain was increaesed. The (001) orientation made a signifieant in crease on Jc. We conclded that an ECP technique was very useful for the analysis of the orientation distribution in small-sized $YBa_2Cu_3O_7$-X specimens such as superonducting tapes or thin films.

The substrate doping concentration dependence of strain-enhanced electron mobility in (110)/<110> nMOSFETs is investigated by using a self-consistent Schr$\ddot{o}$dinger-Poisson solver. The electron mobility model includes Coulomb, phonon, and surface roughness scattering. The calculated results show that, in contrast to (100)/<110> case, the longitudinal tensile strain-induced electron mobility enhancement on the (110)/<110> can be increased at high substrate doping concentration.

The surface morphology and the proferred orientation of the Pb-Sn alloy electrodeposite were investated by the change of electrolysis conditions in pulse current electroplating. The preferred orientation of Pb-phase in alloy deposits was changed in the sequence of (110)longrightarrow(100)or(100)+(111)longrightarrow(111) with increasing peak current density, while that of $\beta$-Sn phase changed from (321)+(301)to(301)+(111) mixed orientation. The surface morphology was closely related to the preferred orientation of alloy electrodeposits. The alloy deposits, which had (100)or(111) for pb-phase and (321)or(100)(301)for $\beta$-Sn sespectively, showed the surface structure of granular crystallites. The alloy deposits whih mixed orientations for both phases had microstructure of closely the closely stacked crysrallites, which was inclined to the surface.
The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of CEO's entrepreneurial orientation on innovation performance and business performance, and the mediating effect of innovation performance on the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and business performance in small and medium-sized venture-enterprises (SMEs). To test the hypothesized relationships, we have conducted a survey of Korean SMEs. After excluding unanswered and untrustful item questionnaires, the final sample size for this study is 110 SMEs. The major findings of the empirical research are as follows. First, CEO's entrepreneurial orientation had apositive influence on innovation performance of a firm. Second, CEO's entrepreneurial orientation was positively related to business performance of a firm. Third, innovation performance had the partial mediating effect on the relationship between CEO's entrepreneurial orientation and business performance of a firm. That is, this result indicates that CEO's entrepreneurial orientation indirectly effects on business performance through innovation performance. Based on these findings, implications of the research findings are discussed, and recommendation for future research are provided.
