In this paper, we propose the systolic array architecture for the vector median filter. In the color image processing, the vector signal (i.e. the color) consists of three elements, red, green and blue. The vector median filter is very effective to utilize the correlation among red, green and blue elements. The computational complexity of the proposed architecture for computing the vector median of N vector signals is (N+2) clock periods compared to the (3N+1) clock periods in the previous method. In addition to, the input vector signals can be loaded in serial in the proposed architecture. In the previous method, N input vector signals should be loaded to the vector median filter in parallel at the first clock. The proposed architecture is implemented with FPGA.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the level of trust by financial consumers and attempt to investigate the determinants that influence consumer trust in internet-only banks. For this aim, I conducted an empirical study and the survey results was used to test a structural equation model that analyzed the financial consumer trust and estimated the level of trust for internet-only banks. As a result of the analysis, the three most effective determinants of trust were security, convenience and benefit. Also, the level of financial consumer trust for the internet-only banks, based on the three factors, was later extended to relationship commitment such as renewal and recommendation intentions. Therefore, Internet-only banks need to focus on promoting their trust more effectively for future sustainable growth.

Vehicular communication is one of representative convergence technology which combines information technology and vehicle industry. Wireless Access in Vehicular Environments (WAVE) technology is vehicular communication standard which is widely used in the world. In this paper, we introduce service realization of WAVE based vehicular communication systems in the practical testbed. We review the overall WAVE based systems in brief and introduce the testbed. Then, we investigate various applications using vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) communications. Based on realization of systems, we discuss practical implementation issues and the convergence area of WAVE systems.

In previous studies, we demonstrated that some sites in the first intron likely regulate gene expression. In the present work, we sought to further confirm the functional relevance of first intron sites by estimating the quantity of rare alleles in the first intron. A basic hypothesis posited herein is that genomic regions carrying more functionally important sites will have a higher proportion of rare alleles. We estimated the proportions of rare single nucleotide polymorphisms with a minor allele frequency < 0.01 located in several histone marks in the first introns of various genes, and compared them with those in other introns and those in 2-kb upstream regions. As expected, rare alleles were found to be significantly enriched in most of the regulatory sites located in the first introns. Meanwhile, transcription factor binding sites were significantly more enriched in the 2-kb upstream regions (i.e., the regions of putative promoters of genes) than in the first introns. These results strongly support our proposal that the first intron sites of genes may have important regulatory functions in gene expression independent of promoters.

Officers and noncommissioned officers are the leaders of the military. Every year, more than 5,000 first-time officers are commissioned and perform their duties in various parts of the country. There is a conflict between officers and noncommissioned officers over the efficiency of experience. First-time officers are experiencing experience and a loss of authority from older noncommissioned officers and a failure to obey orders. Noncommissioned officers have complaints about first-time officers who want to direct only by class.Conflicts between officers and noncommissioned officers have existed in the past, but some first-time officers were resolved when they gained experience. Recently, the chief executives protested against the Chief of Staff's words and actions. I would like to study the cause of conflict between officers and noncommissioned officers and suggest solutions.

At the time of entering the super-aged society, the health problem of the elderly is becoming more prominent due to the rapid digital era caused by COVID-19, but the gap between welfare budgets and welfare benefits according to regional characteristics is still not narrowed and there is a significant difference in emergency medical access. In response, this study proposes an ICT-based New Normal Smart Care System (NNSCS) to bridge the gap I n health and medical problems. This is an integrated system model that links the elderly themselves to health care, self-diagnosis, disease prediction and prevention, and emergency medical services. The purpose is to apply location-based technology and motion recognition technology under smartphones and smartwatches (wearable) environments to detect health care and risks, predict and diagnose diseases using health and medical big data, and minimize treatment latency. Through the New Normal Smart Care System (NNSCS), which links health care, prevention, and rapid emergency treatment with easy and simple access to health care for the elderly, it aims to minimize health gaps and solve health problems for the elderly.

Through these research results, I would like to present some implications for promoting and revitalizing local food sales in Daejeon and establishing a local food system. First, in terms of local food direct stores, when establishing a local food store, location conditions should be considered. If the location cannot be changed, the quality of agricultural products should be improved to improve consumer satisfaction and purchase intention so that consumers can directly feel the value of the product. Second, efforts at the local government level are needed to improve the stability of local food. There are still many consumers who are not properly aware of local food. It is necessary to improve consumers' interest in the value of local food by providing education including social and environmental information on the production and distribution process of local food. Third, policy efforts on local food are needed. It is necessary to introduce and reorganize the local food certification system to emphasize the stability of local food to consumers and form trust. Finally, for the continuous development of local food, research on the satisfaction and purchase intention of local food consumers must be continuously conducted.

Purpose: This study aims to examine the opportunities in the food industry in the context of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and the metaverse. The metaverse expands offline experiences into a virtual space and provides users with the advantage of overcoming the limitations of physical space. Research design, data and methodology: With the development of various contents based on advanced technology, the metaverse is becoming popular among the MZ generation (comprising millennials and Gen Zs), who are skilled at navigating digital platforms. Moreover, the previously entertainment game focused service has expanded to the business field after COVID-19; activities on the metaverse are now making space for economic value creation. I examined the recent global trends in the context of NFTs and the metaverse as well as the existing cases in Korea. Results: Globally, gaming and performance platforms such as Roblox, Fortnite etc. are still concentrated in the entertainment industry. However, as shown by ZEPETO and ifland in Korea there are many opportunities in the retail and food industries. Conclusions: We analyzed the ecosystems of the retail and food and beverage sectors, where the metaverse will be useful in the future, and have suggested the implications of the opportunities provided by the metaverse.

This study is about improving the welfare of firefighters, which has not been conducted in depth in previous studies. The overall level of welfare for firefighters was found to be 2.87 points on average (out of 5). Among the welfare status items, the most common answer was, 'Many firefighters may have post-traumatic stress disorder, even though they have not been diagnosed by a hospital.' The higher the rank and length of service, the higher the welfare status, and a statistically significant difference was confirmed (p(.01). In this study, the survey subjects were limited to some firefighters. We believe that these samples have limitations in generalizing the results of the study. However, the study is considered to be fruitful in that it identified the welfare status of some firefighters and confirmed their needs. I hope that the overall welfare of firefighters will be improved through periodic follow-up studies in the future.

This study proposes a strategy for developing Korean entertainment video service by studying the current status of user's experience of OTT(Over the Top, online video streaming service), mainly Netflix and Watcha Play. Firstly, as case study research, I investigated the features of domestic video streaming services and that of foreign services and K-content service needs. Secondly, I interviewed eight Netflix and Watcha Play users to understand the user experience and the demand for K-content video streaming service. As a result, I was able to derive two points about the strategy. First, isolated channel strategy. Second, content diversification and personalization strategy. This study is meaningful that it presented a strategy for the direction of the Korean entertainment industry. I hope that the follow-up study will help improve the Korean entertainment industry and help develop Korea's entertainment strategy.
