In this paper, we propose a fault tolerance technique which enables embedded systems to run without interruption while its operating system and tasks fail. In order to improve reliability, the proposed scheme makes an embedded system run as a virtual machine on virtual machine monitor. It also prepares a contingency virtual machine at which periodical backups of the embedded system are saved. When an error occurs in the main virtual machine, the corresponding standby virtual machine takes a role of the main virtual machine and continues its operation. Especially such backups and switches of virtual machines are performed with minor performance degradation by manipulating page table entries in virtual machine monitor. By conducting performance evaluation studies, we show that the proposed scheme makes embedded system robust against errors while it does not degrade the performance of the system significantly.

In this paper, we proposed a novel user-level scheduling scheme that monitors applications characteristics on-line using PMU and allocates applications into cpu cores. We utilize PMU (Performance Monitoring Unit) to analyze which shared resource has the strongest relation with the influence. Using the proposed scheduling method, it is possible to reduce the contention of shared resources. The key idea of this scheme is separating high-influential applications into different processors. The evaluation results have shown that the proposed scheduling scheme can enhance the performance up to 12% for a 8 core system and up to 25% for a 28 core system, respectively.

In recent digital broadcasting, up to 250 channels are multiplexed and transmitted. The channel transmission is made in the form of MPEG-2 Transport Stream (TS) and transmits one channel (Video, Audio). In order to check if many broadcast channels are transmitted normally, in multi-channel multi-view system, ability of real-time monitoring is required. In order to monitor efficient multi-channel, a distributed system in which functions and load are distributed should be implemented. In the past, we used an inefficient system that gave all of the functionality to a piece of hardware, which limited the channel acceptance and required a lot of resources. In this paper, we implemented a distributed multi-view system which can reduce resources and monitor them economically through efficient function and load balancing. It is able to implement efficient system by taking charge of decoding, resizing and encoding function in specific server and viewer function in separate server. Through this system, the system was stabilized, the investment cost was reduced by 19.7%, and the wall monitor area was reduced by 52.6%. Experimental results show that efficient real-time channel monitoring for multi-channel digital broadcasting is possible.

We are living in networks which are regarded as a society. However, it is difficult to designate a specific position or the impact over sociological relationships and virtual links. In this paper, we conceptualize two themes of the network as Physical Network and Virtual Network, and observe their cross-network effects. New concept called Networked Community (NC) is then introduced to walk through both PN and VN by using the element of connections say connectivity feature. Through modeling NC by the theme of network transposition and egocentric network, we try to comprehend all possible networks for detecting the problems and solutions by using both sides' idea. Experimental results show that we can model real-world problems and then analyze them through NC by measurable and structural manner.

This article is to investigate the possibility that project-based classes introducing mobile phones can replace the monotony of traditional classes led by teachers as well as they can encourage students to take active part in the classes to some extent. The students in groups choose a genre for their own video projects (e.g., movie, drama, news, documentary, and commercial) and produce the video contents using a mobile phone for presentation made at the end of a semester. In the sense that the students are allowed to do video-based mobile phone projects, they can work independently outside of class, where time and space are more flexible and students are free from the anxiety of speaking or acting in front of an audience. A mobile phone project consists of around five stages done both in and outside of the classroom. All of these stages can be graded independently, including genre selection, drafting of scripts, peer review and revision, rehearsals, and presentation of the video. Feedback is given to students. After the presentation, students filled out a survey questionnaire sheet devised to analyze students' responses toward preferences and level of difficulty of the project activity. Finally, proposals are made for introduction of a better mobile phone-based project classes.

All the personal information controllers or processors collecting, processing and storing personal information through the entry into force of the EU GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) are required to provide the basic principle of privacy by design at all stages of developing products or services throughout the organization, And to ensure that the basic rights of the subject of personal information are protected and that internal control techniques are provided to prevent any abuse or leakage. We will review the regulations and countermeasures required by the GDPR for video information with serious privacy problems, and propose a solution.

Robots, games and life applications have been developed while computer areas are developed. Moreover, various applications have been utilized for various users including the early childhood. Recently, smart phones have been dramatically used by various users including early childhood. Many applications need to find a path from a starting point to destinations. For example, without using real maps, users can find the direct paths for the destinations in realtime. Specifically, path exploration in game programs is so important to have accurate results. Nowadays, with these techniques, diverse applications for educations of early childhood have been developed. To deal with the functions, necessity of efficient path search programs with high accuracy becomes much higher. In this paper, we design and develop a friendly maze program for early childhood based on a path searching algorithm. Basically, the path of lineal distance from a starting location to destination is considered. Moreover, weight values are calculated by considering heuristic weighted h(x). In our approach, A* algorithm searches the path considering weight values. Moreover, we utilize depth first search approach instead of breadth first search in order to reduce the search space. so it is proper to use A* algorithm in finding efficient paths although it is not optimized paths.

The Linked Open Data(LOD) cloud is quickly becoming one of the largest collections of interlinked datasets and the de facto standard for publishing, sharing and connecting pieces of data on the Web. Data publishers from diverse domains publish their data using Resource Description Framework(RDF) data model and provide SPARQL endpoints to enable querying their data, which enables creating a global, distributed and interconnected dataspace on the LOD cloud. Although it is possible to extract structured data as query results by using SPARQL, users have very poor in analysis and visualization of RDF data from SPARQL query results. Therefore, to tackle this issue, based on Formal Concept Analysis, we propose a novel approach for analyzing and visualizing useful information from the LOD cloud. The RDF data analysis and visualization technique proposed in this paper can be utilized in the field of semantic web data mining by extracting and analyzing the information and knowledge inherent in LOD and supporting classification and visualization.

The information related to legislation is massive, and it takes much time and effort to manually build the legislation ontology. Thus, studies on machine-based automated building methods are underway. However, the studies to automatically construct such systems focus on using TBox construction, and those based on automated ABox construction, which corresponds to instances, theoretical systems and data building cases, has not yet been sufficiently developed. Therefore, this paper suggests using a semi-automatic ABox construction method based on sentence patterns to automatically build the ontology for the legislation of the Republic of Korea. Precision and Recall experiments were conducted to further discuss the performance of the suggested method. These experiments provide a comparison between the manual classification, and the triples built by the machines of the legal information by assessing the corresponding numerical values.

In this paper, we implement a common module that can integrate multiple biometric information for integrated patient monitoring system. Conventional biomedical instruments have many devices attached to each patient, making it difficult to monitor abnormality signs of many patients in real time. In this paper, we propose a module for an integrated monitoring system that can perform centralized monitoring using a common module that integrates multiple measurement devices. A protocol for sending and receiving packets between the measuring device and the common module is designed, and the packets transmitted through the network are stored and managed through the integrated monitoring system and provide information to various users such as medical staff. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the management of patients and efficient medical services in hospitals.

In this paper, we design a small low power single channel ECG(Electrocardiogram) system of Chest Belt type with fiber-type electrodes to measure emotional state change of game addict. HRV(Heart Rate Variability) is analyzed through heart rate signal measurement and the psychological stress state is judged by using it. And it verifies its effectiveness through prototype. First, we design HR measurement module through low power MCU(Micro Controller Unit) and implement prototype level measurement system. The results showed that the difference between the addiction group and the general group was confirmed and that the system was effective. The result of this study can be used for health management such as reduction of stress of the user through music and breathing that lowers the stress by detecting the stress state of the general person or the chronic ill person.

Recently, as stress has become a major threat to people's health, there is a growing interest in wearable stress management services for stress relief. In this paper, we developed a wearable device(Care-on) capable of extracting changeable human voice information at each site and a Healthcare App(S-Manager) that enables stress management in real time using the wearable device. It collects and analyzes variable real-time voice information for each part of the person's body. And It also provides the ability to monitor stress conditions in a mobile environment and provide feedback on the analysis results in step by step in the mobile environment. We tested the developed wearable devices and app in a mobile environment and analyzed the results to confirm their usefulness.

In this paper, We propose the aesthetic exploration of horseback riding is considered to be the process of pursuing physical, mental, emotional, and social beauty. Despite the search effect of aesthetics in various aspects, the study of equestrian aesthetics in the field of physical education in Korea is very insufficient. Equestrian aesthetics is being studied in the field of special physical education and is being studied in the fields of rehabilitation and therapeutic horseback riding. Horse riding is a type of exercise. However, studies that track and observe various changes are inadequate. The purpose of this study is to explore the theory of equestrian aesthetics and to explore the possibility of approaching aesthetic theory from the top of horseback riding and to extend the area of equestrian game aesthetically. Until now, horse riding has been thought to be an aristocratic sport. Today, however, everyone can participate. Horseback riding is a sport for raising livelihoods, and it is a special sport that animals and humans enjoy in harmony. Equestrianism is a method of aesthetics from below, a philosophical method of aesthetics from the top, and a scientific method of empirical or positivistic direction. This study examines equestrian aesthetics from aesthetic point of view through the whole process of horse riding. The purpose of this study is to explore the aesthetics of horse riding through an aesthetic approach from the top, and to study the nature of aesthetics, a philosophical debate on beauty, Art can be divided into two categories: empiricism and positivism. For the sake of simplicity, the former is called the philosophical method, the latter is called the scientific method, and the latter is called the aesthetic from the bottom. Generally, in art, artistic, artistic works, perfumers, if you are grasped in the triangular shape, equestrian aesthetics can be described as triplets such as horse riding, passengers, and spectators. It was not easy to give satisfactory results in suggesting a new theory or a clear discussion due to lack of precedent research.

In this paper, I propose the effects of food therapy on subjects' health and happiness. The result has come out that food therapy enhances subjects' multi-dimensional health(medical, functional, self-evaluative) and their happiness. The participants were 230 adults over 30 years old living in Seoul and Gyeonggi district. To examine the effect of food therapy, the study sampled 220 questionnaire out of 230. By the non-equivalent control group design, the health levels were measured in three concepts: medical dimension, functional dimension and self-evaluative dimension. The results are as follows: First, participants who had taken food therapy for 3 months have been enhanced in their subjective and functional health level. Their subjective health enhanced from $2.80{\pm}.44$ to $4.07{\pm}.27$ (p=.000). And their functional health enhanced from $.92{\pm}.07$ to $.94{\pm}.07$(p=.035). Second, participants' happiness has enhanced significantly. Cognitive happiness enhanced from $3.39{\pm}.50$ to $3.84{\pm}.44$(p=.000). And emotional happiness enhanced from $2.76{\pm}.44$ to $3.07{\pm}.34$(p=.000). With this results, in case that people apply food therapy based on Yaksun, they are able to expect their enhancement of health level and happiness. Therefore study shows that Food therapy helps people to pursue their health and happiness improvement and suggest valuable information of a way to enhance quality of life.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of compassion satisfaction, compassion fatigue, burnout on the attitude towards terminal care among care providers in long-term care facilities. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, data was collected from 126 care providers in long-term care facilities in Chungbuk and Kangwon province. Data were collected with self-administrated questionnaires and analyzed by hierarchical multiple regression. Findings of this study is as follows. Firstly, attitude towards terminal care was positively affected by compassion satisfaction. Secondly, the attitude towards terminal care was negatively affected by compassion fatigue. Thirdly, the attitude towards terminal care was negatively affected by burnout. In conclusion, these findings provide strong empirical evidence for the importance of compassion fatigue, compassion satisfaction and burnout in explaining attitude towards terminal care among care providers in long-term care facilities. Therefore, strategies to decrease compassion fatigue and burnout and improve compassion satisfaction are needed to improve the attitude towards terminal care among care providers in long-term care facilities.

In this paper, we proposed a smart multiple-tap system which a remote user with smartphone can control multiple-taps in order to reduce standby-power consumption more conveniently when plugged-in electric appliances are turned-off. Recently, several researches of smart multiple-tap using IoT technology has reported. However, in these researches, an additional device like as a server computer is necessary, or multiple-taps could be only remotely controlled by smartphone and not directly controlled by on/off switch. The proposed smart multiple-tap system does not need any additional device only if it has a WiFi router, and it can be used for user as well as remote control using smartphone application and physically direct control using contact switches like existing multiple-taps. Our approach is to develop a smart multiple-tap device capable of WiFi communication can each serve as a server or a client, and can be operated by the hybrid switch combining the on/off contact switch and the relay switch. We implemented the prototype of the proposed system composed of the smart multiple-tap device and the smartphone application, and the test of the prototype validates the proposed system.

As video equipments such as CCTV are used for various purposes in fields of society, digital video data processing technology such as automatic motion detection is essential. In this paper, we proposed and implemented a more stable and accurate motion detection system based on background subtraction technique. We could improve the accuracy and stability of motion detection over existing methods by efficiently processing color information of digital image data. We divided the procedure of color information processing into each components of color information : brightness component, color component of color information and merge them. We can process each component's characteristics with maximum consideration. Our color information processing provides more efficient color information in motion detection than the existing methods. We improved the success rate of motion detection by our background update process that analyzed the characteristics of the moving background in the natural environment and reflected it to the background image.

Along with the recent growth of Fintech industry and low interest rate basis, one of the alternative investment technique for expecting higher investment profit, P2P loan using P2P financial system is greatly increasing. P2P loan can be referred to as a type of Crowdfunding that the law of Crowdfunding (adopted to revised Capital Market Act) enacted on January 25th 2016 only allows investment type Crowdfunding so that it can be used as a tool of raising fund for startup and venture companies. Also, it is true that Korean government could not make any legislative foundation related to P2P loan. At this moment, those online platform companies mediating P2P loan are not included as financial companies, expected to cause various legal arguments. Financial Services Commission has released a guideline in February of this year saying that limit of P2P loan is 10 million Korean Won per arbitrating company and 5 million Korean Won per borrower. However, what is more important is to make a law supporting this institutional system. If legislation on P2P loan is implemented without care, it may disturb growth of the field but it may result in the damage of investors if not clearly defined by law. As this is the case, first, "revision of execution regulations for loan business" should take place as soon as possible to intensify inspection of loan companies by registering them to Financial Services Commission. Second, saving customer fund separately in the their organization. Third, making law on protecting investors such as regulating exaggerative advertisement. Fourth, to have transparent and fair public announcement system, standardized agreement and guideline describing clear understanding on autonomous public information publication of P2P loan online platform business and information on the borrower.

In this paper, we propose to enhance a Physical working conditions to decrease absence from work. we demonstrated the correlation of worker's absence with various environmental factors in workplace by surveying 6,962 workers. As result, first, concerning exposure to physical work factors, most of them complained of vibration, and concerning exposure to improper working posture, most of them complained of repetitive arm and hand motions. Second, the absence experience had correlations with age, monthly income, smoking, number of employees, long term working, and shift work, and of the physical factors, hand vibration, noise, high temperature, low temperature and improper working posture had correlations with physical pain posture, movement of people and carrying heavy materials. Third, experience of exposure to hand vibration, noise and low temperature of the physical factors had impact on absence, and of the improper working posture, physical pain posture and carrying heavy stuff had impacts on absence. Through this study, it was found that of the work factors of Korean workers, physical factors and improper working posture had impacts on absence. The results of this study confirmed that physical factors and inappropriate working posture among work factors influenced the absenteeism. Therefore, it is required to improve the work environment regarding physical risk factors and prepare a systematic management plan.
