  • The Purpose of this study was to understand the China Yunnan Baizu food. This study was performed a visit market based on in- depth interview with food experts those who lived in Baizu province. The results were summarized as follows. The main food of Baizu were Bab, Dduk(BaBa), Nuddle(Mi xian) made from rice. They ate all kind of food from vegetables, fish, and pork, but the remarkable thing was that there were practical limit to select the ingredient. They would use some fermented products such as Pao-chai, Yan-chai, Zha. Pao-chai was fermented vegetables like Kimchi, Yan-chai was similar with Changachi in Korea, and Zha was prepared from meat and fish. Menus for Banquets were included 8 kinds of cold appetizer, 8 kinds of hot dishes, and 2 kinds of sweet desserts. The ingredients were local products and they considered hot, sour, cold taste importantly. The method of cooking was simple and Rusan, Sengpi was the most traditional Baizu food. Ru san is one of dishes prepared from the milk, and milk pedimented product. Sengpi was uncooked pork.

  • TiO$_2$/Fe$_2$O$_3$composite thin films were prepared on common glass substrates by sol-gel processing and dip-drawing method. The effect of Fe$_2$O$_3$content on the photocatalytic and hydrophilic properties of composite films was studied. The results indicate that the photocatalytic activities of composite TiO$_2$films are superior to that of pure TiO$_2$film, and the film containing 0.5% Fe$_2$O$_3$has the best photocatalytic activity. The hydrophilicity is difference with variant Fe$_2$O$_3$content, the films containing 0.05% ~0.1% Fe$_2$O$_3$have the best hydrophilicity and their contact angles are 0。.

  • Aims: To investigate changes in cellular immune function of patients with lung cancer before and after cytokine-induced killer (CIK) cell therapy and to identify variation effects on overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS). Materials and Methods:A total of 943 lung cancer patients with immune dysfunction were recruited from January 2002 to January 2010, 532 being allocated to conventional therapy and 411 to CIK therapy after a standard treatment according to the NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines. All the patients were investigated for cellular immune function before and after therapy every three months. and clinical prognostic outcomes were analyzed. Results: After six courses of treatment, immune function was much improved in patients receiving CIK cells therapy as compared to controls. The percentages of recurrence and/or metastases for patients undergoing CIK cell therapy was 56.2% and 49.1% respectively but 78.6% and 70.3% among controls (p<0.001). The median OS times for CIK cell therapy and control groups were 48 and 36 months respectively. The OS rates at 12, 36, 60, 84 months in CIK treated patients were 97.8%, 66.9%, 27.7%, and 4.1% while they were 92.3%, 44.5%, 9.2%, and 1.5% in controls. OS and PFS were significantly different by log rank test between the two groups and across the three immune improvement classes. Conclusions: The immune function of lung cancer patients was improved by CIK cell therapy, associated with an increase in the OS rate and extension of the time to recurrence and/or metastasis.

  • In this paper, using the time scale calculus theory, we first discuss the permanence of a $n$-species competition system with feedback control on time scales. Based on the permanence result, by the Lyapunov functional method, we establish sufficient conditions for the existence and uniformly asymptotical stability of almost periodic solutions of the considered model. The results of this paper is completely new. An example is employed to show the feasibility of our main result.

  • In this paper, we study the global stability and the existence of almost periodic solution of high-order Hopfield neural networks with distributed delays of neutral type. Some sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence, uniqueness and global exponential stability of almost periodic solution by employing fixed point theorem and differential inequality techniques. An example is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method and results.

  • We present 3 rare subtypes of the FFSs observed with high temporal resolution at 4-frequency (1.42, 2.13, 2.84 and 4.2G GHz). The various FFSs occurred during the main and post-flare phase can demonstrate that coronal nonthermal electron acceleration/injection may go through the whole development process of flares, and deduce that there may exist the re-forming of loop-like structures in the post-flare phase, and the complex multi-type magnetic structures in corona.

  • We performed a taxonomic study on two species of the genus Bryoria from the Sino-Himalayas, SW-China. B, nadvornikiana is new to China and B. furcellata is new to Yunnan and Sichuan provinces in the Sino-Himalayas. Morphology, habitat, distributions and chemistry of the two species are discussed.

  • We study a multidimensional nonlinear variational sine-Gordon equation, which can be used to describe long waves on a dipole chain in the continuum limit. By using the method of characteristics, we show that a solution of a nonlinear variational sine-Gordon equation with certain initial data in a multidimensional space has a singularity in finite time.
