미용실 유형에 따른 미용실 직원의 직무 만족과 고객 만족에 관한 연구 (Job Satisfaction and Consumer Satisfaction of Beauty Shops - Compasing with Franchised and Non-franchised Beauty Shops -)

  • The purposes of this study are to investigate the job satisfaction, customer satisfaction and revisiting intention to beauty shops, and to examine the difference of the job satisfaction, customer satisfaction, and revisiting intention between franchised and non-franchised beauty shops. Data were obtained via questionnaire, which developed by results of pretest and previous studies, from workers and consumers of beauty shops in Busan. They were analyzed by factor analysis, t-test and regression. The results were as follows; First, the job satisfaction of beauty shops workers was composed of Adaptation, Operation and Instruction. For both of franchised and non-franchised beauty shops, the operation of beauty shops greaty influenced the job satisfaction of workers, and job satisfaction is not significantly different. Second, consumer satisfaction related to services of beauty shops is composed of three factors: Policy, Personal service, and Physical environment. Regardless of shop types, the policy of shop influenced the consumer satisfaction. Consumers' revisiting intentions to beauty shops are influenced by consumer satisfaction. Third, consumers in franchised beauty shops is less likely to be satisfied and to have the intentions to revisit than those of non-franchised beauty shops. Resulted provide some insights to develop strategies for franchised and non-franchised beauty shops. Limitations and future research directions have been discussed.

대구시내 미용실의 보건위생 실태 (Status of Health Hygiene of Some Beauty Shop in Taegu City)

  • The objective of this study was to improve sanitary conditions at the beauty shops by informing the owners and employees to be aware of the public health. The data were obtained by the Physical investigation (August 1 to 30, 2001) of the sanitary Problems at 112 beauty shops in Daegu Metrpolitan area and by the surveys from the employees and customers. By analysis these data with SAS/PC+(ver. 6.12) and $x^2-test$, we have obtained the following results. 1. The numbers of the beauty shop workers (67.86% of the shops) were two including the owner, and only 18.75% of the workers had the regular public health training session. Even at the training sessions, no public health specialist was available as an instructor. 2. Sanitary conditions of the floor (92.76%), washer (88.93%) and rest room (74.11%) at the beauty shops were satisfactory. However, only 3.57% of the beauty shop used the vacuum cleaner that would be far more effective than the bloom to remove hairs from the floor. 3. About 91.07% (102 shops) did not or poorly sterilize equipments, and 91.76% (103 shops) did not store the sterilized or non-sterilized equipments separately. The shops that had the ultraviolet sterilizer that is required by the public health regulation were 53.57% (60 shops), and only 2.67% (3shops) actually used it. 4. About 82.14% (72 shops) used Oxyclean and detergent for washing the fabrics such as towels and gowns. About 11.61% (13 shops) used only detergent and 3.57% (4 shops) used the boiling sterilization method. No shop used the customer gown once per customer, and only 2.68% (3 shops) washed the used gown daily.

Indoor and Outdoor Concentrations of Air Pollutants in Beauty Shops at Kwangju Area

  • The work of hairdressers includes washing, coloring, bleaching, permanent waving, conditioning, and cutting hair. Hairdressers are subjected to a number of physical and toxicological hazards. The toxicological hazards are those resulting from exposure to a wide range of chemicals and from chemicals are usually classified active processes. In this study, twenty beauty shops were selected to assess the exposure to indoor air pollutants such as VOCS and particulate matter($PM_{10}$) during one month from September 1 to September 30, 2003. Indoor air quality of beauty shops might be worse by vehicle emissions because the beauty shops were generally located near roadways. Personal exposures to VOCs and PM lo were related to indoor concentrations of beauty shops. According to the questionnaire, hairdressers complained of sore throat, eye irritation, and nervousness as physical symptoms. Conclusively, customers as well as workers in the beauty shops might be highly exposed to air pollutants from indoor sources and outdoor sources. Therefore, proper management methods should be taken to improve the indoor air quality in beauty shops.

The toxicological hazards are those resulting from exposure to a wide range of chemicals that are usually classified active processes. In this study, twenty beauty shops were selected to assess the exposure to indoor air pollutants such as VOCs and particulate matter $(PM_{10})$ during one month from September 1 to September 30, 2003. Indoor air quality of beauty shops might be worse by vehicle emissions because the beauty shops were generally located near roadways. Personal exposures to VOCs and $PM_{10}$ were related to indoor concentrations of beauty shops. According to the questionnaire, hairdressers complained of sore throat, eye irritation, and nervousness as physical symptoms. The measured mean concentrations of respiratory particulates were $30.5ng/m^3$ in indoor, $30.5ng/m^3$ in outdoor and $44.0ng/m^3$ on personal levels. The personal concentration was found higher than indoor and outdoor concentrations. The heavy metals mean concentrations were shown as indoor (Na>Zn>Cr), outdoor (Cr>Zn>Pb), and personal (Na>Cr>Zn) levels. Conclusively, customers as well as workers in the beauty shops might be highly exposed to air pollutants from indoor and outdoor sources. Therefore, proper management should be taken to improve the indoor air quality in beauty shops.

뷰티종사자의 인적서비스품질이 고객공감과 뷰티숍 재방문의도에 미치는 영향 (The impact of beauty workers' human service quality on customer empathy and intention to revisit beauty shops)

  • 최근 뷰티 산업은 매우 경쟁적이므로 수준 높은 인적서비스를 제공하는 것이 경쟁우위를 유지하고 고객을 유치하는 데 중요한 요인으로 제기되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 뷰티종사자의 인적서비스품질이 고객공감과 뷰티숍 재방문의도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 설문지 총 238부를 수집하여 통계패키지 SPSS 27.0으로 빈도분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석, 상관관계분석, 회귀분석을 수행하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 뷰티종사자의 인적 서비스품질의 구성요소 중 진정성과 전문성은 정서적공감에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으나, 신뢰성은 유의한 영향을 미치지않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 신뢰성, 진정성과 전문성 모두 인지적공감에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 정서적공감과 인지적공감은 재방문의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 따라 뷰티숍의 재방문의도를 증가시키기 위해서 뷰티종사자의 믿음을 줄 수 있는 언행, 진정성 있는 서비스, 전문적 기술에 대한 교육이 필요하다고 보인다. 향후 본 연구에서의 뷰티종사자의 인적서비스품질과 차별화된 변수를 통해 고객공감과 재방문의도에 관한 연구가 이루어질 필요가 있다고 사료된다.

미용사의 삶의 질에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Quality of Life of Hair Designer)

  • This study was carried out to examine the level and relevant factors of influencing quality of lift of Hair Designer and to provide basic data to prepare intervention program for them. The data were collected from 733 Hair Designer who worked in beauty shops located in big and small cities including Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Daejon, Gwangju, Gyeongju, Changwon, Andong, using self-administered questionnaire for four months from February to June 2005. The results of this study show that the level of quality of life of Hair Designer are lower than one of workers in other jobs. Particularly, there is a close relationship quality of life, and that the lower the income and the shorter working hours, the lower the level of quality of life. Thus, the health promotion and education program to improve the quality of life of Hair Designer should be developed considering working conditions.

여성의 피부 관리실 이용 선호도 및 피부 미용 홈 케어 만족도 조사 연구 (A Study on Women's Preference for the Use of the Esthetic Shop and the Satisfaction Level of Skin Beauty Home Care)

  • 본 연구는 여성의 피부 관리실 이용 선호도 및 피부미용 홈 케어 만족도 조사 연구를 목적으로 2021년 3월 11일-3월 29일 까지 255명을 대상으로 온라인과 오프라인을 이용하여 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25.0 를 이용하여 Cronbach's α, Frequency Analysis, chi-square test, 기술 통계, One way Anova로 분석하였다. 조사 결과 피부 관리실 이용 선호도에서 전문 피부 관리실을 이용한다고 답한 응답자(56.1%)가 가장 많았으나 20대와 사무직(57.1%)은 피부과 병원을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 피부 관리실 선택 시 고려사항으로는 직원들의 기술(숙련, 유행)에 대한 항목이 38.8%로 높게 나타났으며 피부 관리 행태에서 클렌징 등 기초 화장품(M=4.47)과 기능성 화장품(M=4.20) 사용이 매우 높은 것으로 나타났다. 피부미용 홈 케어 현황을 살펴보면 결혼여부는 기타(M=4.50)가 가장 높았고, 학력별로는 대졸(M=3.84)이, 직업별로는 Service Job(M=4.06)이 가장 높게 나타나고 있으므로 이에 따른 피부미용 전문 프로그램 개발 및 피부 관리실과 홈 케어를 병행할 수 있는 프로그램 개발에 대한 필요성이 높은 것으로 나타났다.

미용업 종사자들의 스트레스 수준과 이에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (Stress Level of Workers in Beauty Shops)

  • This study was conducted to examine to causes and symptoms of stress and factors influencing stress management of workers in beauty shops. 811 people who were working in the shops located in Daegu City and Kyungbuk Province were selected as subjects of this study. Data were collected from April 10, 2000 to July 10, 2000. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. According to general characteristics of the respondents, female was 90.8%. 42.1 % of them was in their twenties and 73.7% of them did not marry. 57.5% of the respondents grew up in big cities and 41.1% had no religion. 63.6% was graduated from junior colleges. 44.6% of them worked for below I year and 33.9% earned below four hundred and ninety thousand won per month. 55.8% of them was satisfied with their work aptitude, while 34.2% was not satisfied with it. In the case of satisfaction level with working environment, ‘common level’ was 46.3%, while 12.8% of them was unsatisfied with it. In the case of stress level by factors of stress related to working, male was higher (9.34 $\pm$ 2.38 points). Those who grew up in towns or villages and those who belonged to the middle class showed high stress level. Those who married and those who graduated from high school also displayed high stress level. It also appeared that monthly income influenced the stress level related to working.. The extent of stress level influencing physical causes appeared in order of health condition, education level, sex, satisfaction level with work aptitude, economic status, and working hours. The extent of stress level influencing whole organizational level appeared in order of satisfaction level with work aptitude, working hours, education level, health condition, and sex. The extent of stress factors influencing depressed feeling of stress symptom appeared in order of working hours, sex, amount of smoking, absence due to stress, age, health condition, and education level. The extent of influencing factors on active stress management appeared in order of satisfaction level with work aptitude, health condition, size of the shop, drinking, sex, and the number of day off. The extent of influencing factors on avoidable stress management appeared in order of age, absence due to stress, drinking, health condition, and sex.

헤어미용 실무자들의 자기 기술력 인식정도에 관한 고찰 (A Study on Beauty Artists' Perception Degree about Self-Technic)

  • This study is an investigation research regarding Beauty Artists' perception degree about self-Technic. Therefore by grasping the field which the beauty artists recognize the insufficiency while they perform their task, the result which executed a question investigation for 430 workers at the beauty shops which are located in the Jeollabuk-do area is the same following. As a result on the subject, after the beauty artists receive a fundamental beauty care education, and when they are engaged in a real beauty care shop, in order not for them to have difficulties in business accomplishment, more realistic and active curriculum has to be made up. To do like this, more researches and more efforts in the center of the beauty care group and the educational institution are demanded. In addition, so as to grow as the expert of the beauty care artist, the systemic and internal educational training program which considers the curriculum contents, a time and the place must be provided, by developing as levels and steps of the beauty artists.

미용업 관련 종사자의 직업 정체성, 정서노동 및 우울의 상관관계 (Relationship of Professional Identity, Emotional Labor and Depression in Beauty Business Workers)

  • 본 연구는 미용업 종사자들의 직업정체성, 정서노동과 우울의 관계를 파악하고 우울에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하여 미용업 종사자들의 우울 중재의 기초자료를 제공하고자 시도된 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상은 서울시에 있는 미용업 사업체 25곳에서 근무하는 종사자 158명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료수집기간은 2011년 4월 12일부터 5월 13일까지였으며, 자료수집 방법은 구조화된 설문지를 사용하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 16.0 Program을 이용하였다. 연구결과, 대상자들의 우울에 영향을 미치는 요인을 다중회귀 분석한 결과, 직업정체성 영역 중에서는 자율성, 정서노동 영역 중에서는 감정표현의 다양성 및 표면행위가 우울에 23.6%로 기여하는 요인으로 나타났다. 대상자들의 직업정체성은 정서노동의 하위 영역중 감정표현의 빈도와 진심행위와는 순상관관계가 있었고, 표면행위와 우울과는 역상관관계가 있었다. 정서노동의 하위 영역 중 감정표현의 빈도, 감정표현의 다양성은 우울과 역상관관계를 보이고, 표면행위는 우울과 순상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 미용업 종사자들의 우울에 대한 중재를 위해서 직업 정체성 확립에 대한 프로그램과 감정표현 증진과 표면행위 감소를 위한 프로그램이 필요하다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.
