Pb-Sn solder is rapidly being replaced by lead-free solder for board-level interconnection in microelectronic package assemblies due to the environmental protection requirement. There is a general lack of mechanical reliability information available on the lead-free solder. In this study, thermo-mechanical behaviors of wire-bond plastic ball grid array (WB-PBGA) package assemblies are characterized by high-sensitivity moire interferometry. Experiments are conducted for two types of WB-PBGA packages that have Pb-Sn solder and lead-free solder as joint interconnections. Using real-time moire setup, fringe patterns are recorded and analyzed for several temperatures. Bending deformations of the assemblies and average strains of the solder balls are investigated and compared for the two type of WB-PBGA package assemblies. Results show that shear strain in #3 solder ball located near the chip shadow boundary is dominant for the failure of the package with Pb-Sn solder, while normal strain in #7 most outer solder ball is dominant for that with lead-free solder. It is also shown that the package with lead-free solder has much larger bending deformation and 10% larger maximum effective strain than the package with Pb-Sn solder at same temperature level.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the change of 3 point bending properties of various nickel titanium wires after recycling. Four Types of nickel-titanium (Align: martensitic type, NiTi, Optimalloy, Sentalloy: austenitic type) wires were divided to three groups: as-received condition (T0: control group), treated in artificial saliva for four weeks (T1) and autoclaved after being treated in artificial saliva (T2). Detrimental changes were observed for the selected mechanical properties in three point bending test. Loading force at 3mm deflection, unloading force at 3mm deflection, stress hysteresis, loading force at 1mm deflection, unloading force at 1mm deflection and stress hysteresis at 1mm deflection were calculated. The findings suggest that : 1. Align demonstrated statistically significant increase In loading force (p<0.05) and unloading force (p<0.01) at 3mm deflection after recycling(T2), but NiTi, Optimalloy and Sentalloy showed no statistically difference after recycling. 2. Align demonstrated statistically significant decrease in hysteresis(p<0.01) after recycling(T2) but NiTi, Optimalloy and Sentalloy showed no statistically significant difference after recycling. 3. All wires showed no statistically significant difference in loading force at 1mm deflection after recycling(T2). 4. Align demonstrated statistically significant decrease in unloading force in 1mm deflection (p<0.05) after recycling(T2) but NiTi, Optimalloy and Sentalloy showed no statistically difference after recycling 5. Loading force and unloading force of T1 showed no significant change compared with those of T0, but loading force and unloading force of T2 showed significant changes compared with those of T0(p<0.05, p<0.01 respectively). 6. Align demonstrated a tendency to lose some of this pseudoelasticity in T1 and pseudoplasticity and pseudoelasticity in T2.
In order to investigate the short-term performance of polyethylene electrofusion joints, the mechanical tests and stress analysis have been conducted to the artificially defected weld joints. The defects of lack of fusion with a square-type were fabricated with 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60$\%$ size of the width of heat-ing wire zone, respectively. In this defect sires range, both tensile and bending test results showed the dependence of defect size to the electrofusion joints performance, but both sustained pressure and crush test results didn't. The numerical stress analysis results including the soil and internal pressures, tensile and bend-ing stresses clearly showed the dependence of fusion defect size. Based on both mechanical test and stress analysis results, the maximum acceptable defect size in polyethylene electrofusion joints is discussed.

According to results of this research Fly-ash Cement permanent-form production was found to be possible by fly-ash mortal. The compress strength 350kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$, banding strength 120kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ were possible material separting and bleeding by excessive W/C rate was decreased permanent-form made by polymer solved high price of polymer by fly-ash. Model material was made by result of first research. There were no minute-crack on beam form and out surface of form was very smooth, So filling degree seemed desirable length of form after steaming curing was maintained as expected. with these results production of form seemed possible. In the banding load test, fly-ash showed increase of maxim load 12% than RC. in the case of minute-crack, comparing with RC, fly-ash showed no crack at connect. at the first stage under continuing loading size of crack increased. These phenomena seemed to be based on contribution of stress of inner bars in permanent-form. in the test of defection, fly-ash shower about 10% beam load increase than RC. in the case of beam defection, RC showed sudden decrease of tolerance at maxim load and total breaking, but permanent-form showed breaking of bending maintaining defection with contribution of steel stress ($\Phi$6 wire-mash). There phenomenic seemed to be attributed to increase of surface and steel tolerance of form. According to construction explacemaion, it was guessed that each panel was constructed by conner-steels in form edge. so cohesiveness was small. on these bases. keeping width of horizontal band 30cm, form-panel of 20mm width was found to be of use. Permanent-form was found to be efficient in compressibleness, defection, safety and use of Fly-ash mortal.

Porous concrete is used of various parts by advantage of porous. Example of growing of plant is possible, and dwelling of creature, and filter functions of various contaminant, and decrease of noise, and so on. This research is for porous concretes that were used by four aggregate rubble, refreshing aggregate, expanded clay, orchid stone. This research estimate that physical and mechanical characteristics of fresh concrete and hardened concrete. The purpose of this research is to make environment-friendly porous concrete. This research's conclusion is as following : 1. Porous Concrete's slump was measured 12~14cm with rubble, 12~16cm with refreshing aggregate, 11~13cm with expanded clay, 11~13cm with orchid stone. Weight of aggregate was bigger, slump price appeared by bigger thing. Because placed Porous Concrete is low viscosity and small resistance between aggregate, it estimated that have high workability. 2. Porous Concrete's unit weight was measured 1.71~1.75t/$\textrm{m}^3$ with rubble, 1.58~1.62t/$\textrm{m}^3$ with refreshing aggregate, 1.19~1.20t/$\textrm{m}^3$ with expanded clay, 0.98~1.06t/$\textrm{m}^3$ with orchid stone. Showed aspect such as weight of aggregate. 3. Porous Concrete's compressive strength was measured 76~102kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ with rubble, 51~60kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ with refreshing aggregate, 30~40kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ with expanded clay, 13~16kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ with orchid stone. 4. Tendency of tensile strength and bending strength showed generally similarly with compressive strength, but showed low value fewer than 15kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ Therefore, wire mesh, reinforcing rod, such as establishment of frame is considered to need in reinforcement about tensility or flexures in case receive tensility or produce product of thin absence form. It concludes by speculating on the consequences of extrapolating the results of study to remodelling the office building being already existence.

$CO_2$ welding is used widely in the field. On the other hand, welding defects occur when welders cannot adjust the current and voltage needed for welding and have to stop working to adjust the current and voltage, causing sudden cooling down of the welding structure inside a vehicle or tank where the control panel is invisible or when work site is far. This study used three types of existing $CO_2$ welders. This also applied SS400 rolled steel for welding structural purposes for remote control torch welding, perform a welding test through v-groove butt welding with a remote control torch and existing $CO_2$ welding torch, conducted visual inspection on the appearance of a welded top bead. In addition, the appearance quality of the welding part was monitored mainly through penetrant testing and a bending test to evaluate the welding defect reduction and the effect on the performance and compatibility by replacing the existing welder.
Experiments were conducted to investigate propagation, shade tolerance, cold resistance and growth rate of evergreen ground cover plants ; Vinca minor K , Ajuga reptans L., Ophiopogon japonicus ker. f nanus hort , and Hedera helix.. The results were as follows : 1.It is convenient to use the growing case for rice seed to grow and transplant Vinca minor seed-ling. The most proper density of transplanting Vinea was 180 plants per 1m$^2$. At the end of growing season, the coverage came up to 90% The rooting ability of Hedera helix was best to cut from April to May (temperature 15~23˚C). The seedling length of Parthenocissus quinguefohlia were irregular and ranged from 5 cm of 200cm. 2. Ajuga reptans L., Ophiopogon j. and Vinca minor L. grew better under 50% light intensity than full sunlight. Particularly, under full sunlight and aestival high temperature, there were a few withering plants in Ajuga reptans L. , and V Vilica minor L. 3. Of Vinca minor K., Ajuga reptans L. , Ophiopogon japonicus ker. f. nanus hort. and Hedera helix. acclimatized in open field, where temperature was from -7~8˚C. There were few plants had damage in low temperature incubator to -16˚C after field acclimatization. 4.Tendrils of Parthenocissus quinguefolia strongly clung to the wire netting stone fence but intruded into the gap and cranny of the precast concrete fence and so clung to, so that it needed to install the bending net on the precast concrete fence.
During the last years, great progress has been made in the fields of welding power sources and filler materials for the MIG-welding of magnesium alloys. This advice resulted in a better welding process, md, therefore, in highly improved welding results. Furthermore the gap between short-circuiting- and spray-arc-trunsfer could be closed by the triggered short-circuiting- and the short-circuiting-arc with pulse overlay. A crucial contribution to the welding process is the energy input into the filler material. Many problems result from the physical properties of magnesium, for instance its narrow interval between melting point 600$^{\circ}C$ and vaporization point 1100$^{\circ}C$. The energy input into the filler material has to be regulated in such a way that the wire will melt but not vaporize. For th is reason, special characteristics of power sources hue been examined and optimized with the help of high-speed-photographs of the welding process with particular consideration of the drop detachment. An important improvement of the weld seam profile has been achieved by using filler material of only 1.2 mm in diameter. The experiments hue been made with 2.5 mm thick extruded profiles of AZ31 and AZ6l. The results of tensile testing showed strength values of 80 to 100% of the base metal. B ending angles up to 60$^{\circ}$ have been reached. The fatigue strength under reversed bending of the examined magnesium alloys after welding reaches 50% of the strength of the base metal. When the seam reinforcement is ground of the fatigue strength can be raised up to 75% of the base metal.
The objectives of this study were to measure the range of motion for joints and muscle activation of upper limb for flower arrangement tasks for physical rehabilitation and to test horticultural therapy programs using flower arrangement tasks for improving upper limb function of the patients with stroke. Major flower arrangement tasks were classified with eight tasks (cutting 1, thick stem; cutting 2, thin stem; fixing 1, long stem; fixing 2, short stem; rolling a leaf; bending 1, thick stem; bending 2, thin stem; and winding, using a wire) based on the occupational analysis. When eight male university students (mean age $24.1{\pm}2.5$ years) conducted the eight flower arrangement tasks, range of motion for joints and muscle activation of upper limb were measured by a 3D motion analyzer and electromyography, respectively. Based on the results of the range of motion and muscle activation of upper limb, horticultural therapy programs using flower arrangement tasks (total 33 sessions) for improving upper limb function of the patients with stroke was conducted at a rehabilitation hospital, Seoul, South Korea and then the range of motion, grip strength, and upper limb function of the patients were tested. Among the eight flower arrangement tasks, cutting 1, winding, and bending 1 induced the highest value for the range of motion in joints of shoulder, elbow, and wrist, respectively (P < 0.001). In terms of muscle activation, eight flower arrangement tasks performed in this study showed various patterns of muscle activation and several muscles were simultaneously used for each task (P < 0.001). In addition, thickness and length of the materials used in a task had a prominent effect on the range of motion for joints and muscle activation of upper limb (P < 0.001). The stroke patients had positive effects for their range of motion of upper limb (shoulder, forearm, and elbow), grip strength, and overall upper limb function through the horticultural therapy program. Thus, this study suggested that flower arrangement tasks would be a potential horticultural activity for physical rehabilitation program. It would be interesting to apply a customized horticultural therapy program using flower arrangement tasks according to the symptoms of patient for physical rehabilitation.

Accuracy of current measurement in fiber optic current sensor(FOCS), especially, unidirectional polarimetric fiber optic current sensor(PFOCS) is affected by the environment perturbations such as acoustic vibrations changes to the sensing fiber, and intrinsic perturbations such as the bending fiber that the sensing fiber wound around a current carrying wire. The perturbations affect the birefringence properties of sensing fiber in sensor head and cause false current readings. Thus, using compensation technique, reciprocal PFOCS, for unidirectional PFOCS the perturbations are suppressed. In this paper, we carried out the numerical analysis of performance in reciprocal PFOCS including the degree of polarization error, and false current of environmental and intrinsic perturbations on the sensing fiber. Also, we compared the effect of mirror with the faraday rotation mirror(FRM) in reciprocal PFOCS configuration. And the different optical source's wavelengths, 633nm and 1300nm is used. In the results, at 633nm, using mirror and FRM, the degree of polarization error is calculated to $2.3\%$ and $0.0196\%$, respectively. At $1300{\cal}nm$ using mirror and FRM the degree of polarization error is calculated to $9.97\%$ and $0.0196\%$, respectively. Also, compared with false current, the results is calculated to $9.82{\times}10^{-9}A$ and $1.4{\times}10^{-17}A$, respectively, and show that the reciprocal PFOCS is more robust configuration than unidiretionnal PFOCS for environmental and intrinsic perturbations.
