  • The goal of Catholic Religious web-site is to activate communion and evangelization which is the ultimate purpose of communication in the Catholic Church. Thus, the purpose of this paper is to present the type of on-line community which promotes active evangelical communication within the Religious community and between the Religious and the lay. In designing the web-site, the importance of CMC factors will be stressed.

  • As web-based programming tools(such as flash action script, javascript, java and etc.) has been improved and it has become more aware to take interactivity importantly as users' whole experience, web sites have evolved from the form of webzine to the form of interactive application that displays more interactive interface and gives instant feedbacks for the users' inputs. Web, rather than software, is used to execute relatively easy tasks by users of various levels, so that web sites could give more fun and less cognitive burden by supporting users' tasks in more interactive way. This paper examined design strategies to make more interactive web by figuring out definition of web interaction as users' experience and by analyzing web interaction design trends from cases of interactive web sites. The ultimate objective of this paper is show how design strategies can be adapted in the web interaction design process. Thus, case study of designing interactive bookshell in E-book site was done and is demonstrating one way of adapting strategies to design web interaction.

  • In this paper, we aim to draw up an alternative instruction scheme by designing a web based instruction model on mathematics. Some learning materials are developed according to the scheme, and its educational effects are examined when it is committed to through regular curriculum. The study is composed of three major parts; setting of the theoretical foundation on cultivating Web based educational materials, design and composition of Web based teaching-learning model, and its experiments in the regular class. First of all, we are concerned with the core principles on WBI including the learning theories, developing learner oriented instruction model, design as well as build-up process for education materials, and strategy in instruction. Next, we propose an alternative instruction model for mathematics, in which programs to embody mathematics education and instruction on the Web are constructed, on the while, the study is proceeded through the Web Site. Finally, we design and produce a WBI instruction model on the subject of the plane quadratic curves. This model is examined in the regular class to estimate its educational effects compared with traditional teaching standpoints. Concomitantly, we explore essential elements and the direction of future growth associated with the Web oriented education.

Relation between the Image Analysis of Internet Fashion Shopping Site and Consumption Emotion - Focused on T-shirts Web Pages - (인터넷 쇼핑 사이트의 이미지 분석과 소비감성과의 관계 - 티셔츠 웹 페이지를 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand consumer emotion about T-shirts web pages and to provide the basis for effective design plan of them. 72 T-shirts web pages through 62 sites have been chosen as stimulus pictures, and the valuation tools are composed of 21 pairs of image adjective and 3 questions for valuation of consumption emotion. Data has been collected on subjects of 480 men and women at the age of $16{\sim}27$ who live in Busan. The image factors are Aestheticism, Activeness, Stability, Intimacy. The types of T-shirts web pages are classified into four groups. The image according to the type of T-shirts web pages has showed meaningful differences in all factors, and the differences of image factors according to design elements have been meaningfully presented. In the relation between consumption emotion and image of T-shirts web pages, Impulse needs, Buying needs, Recommendation needs are related to Aestheticism factor and Stability factor. The consumption emotion according to the type of T-shirts web pages is appeared high in the type 2(Refine image) and 3(Vivid image). The valuation of consumption emotion according design elements has presented meaningful differences all design elements except menu.

A Study on Web-Site Evaluation Factors Affecting Students' Satisfaction Level in Science Class (사용자 중심의 웹사이트 구축을 위한 주요 평가요인에 관한 실증 연구 : 과학관련 사이트를 중심으로)

  • Since the 7th National Curriculum was established, ICT has emerged as an indispensable tool for teaching a variety of subjects in K-12 education systems. This paper develops the model for explaining the factors affecting students' satisfaction level in using web contents for science class. Based on data collected from a questionnaire survey from the students who evaluated the web sites providing the information related to the science subject, the structural equation model is presented. From this model, a following conclusion is provided : credibility and understandability/motivation are the most important factors affecting the level of satisfaction, but the presentation method, the screen design as well as contents itself has indirect impact on user satisfaction through understandability/motivation. Other interesting results are also provided. This result might provide the useful guidelines for designing the web-contents for science class in high school.

  • The purpose of this paper is to introduce and propose the vision of information design for the user-friendliness and accessibility for web-based information services. Information design, which focuses more narrowly on the information itself in one or more information units, and may encompass the information aspects of elements of design(labels, knobs, and the physical interface), information content design, page design, Web site design, typography decisions, and so forth. Information design is an alternative to all traditional approaches to information (science, philosophy, and others). Information is designed according to consciously chosen principles and criteria. rather than by following habitual patterns of a traditional profession.

  • Lately teaching-learning system on the web site offers broad educational environment without any restriction of time and place to the teachers and learners. Using a web site in music education turned out to be effective. It provokes learner's interest and guides self-directed learning. Therefore, on this research, the web site for self-directed learning in music subject was designed and embodied as an assistant material of learning which is suitable for learner's level and demand As a result of using the web site in music class, there are some responses of students. First, there were 27 students positive responses$(79.4\%)$ of 34 students in the learning effect of the web site, and 25 students$(73.5\%)$ of 34 showed their will to use the web site continually if it is modified and supplemented. Second, some students answered that using this program in Diagnosis Evaluation and Formative Test could have an instant result, which was used for the material of feedback. Third, there was a positive evaluation of helping self-directed learning.

A Design of Customer Relationship Management Evaluation Model for Educational Site (교육용 사이트 CRM 평가 모델 설계)

  • CRM technology, which increase the benefit with the improvement of customer loyalty, has been one of the important strategies of industry. At the same time it is essential to evaluate the CRM characteristics to activate the CRM technology in the educational sites. So in this study, CRM technology concept and Web-site evaluation trend is mentioned ahead. By using Web-site CRM, that is one of the latest quantitative global evaluation method, CRM characteristics evaluation model is designed. So CRM service contents of currently operational academic sites are compared and analyzed. And through students'point of view CRM characteristics evaluation base and quantitative model is proposed to improve customer loyalty and customer satisfaction. Computed results of proposed CRM evaluation model for the educational site is included partially.
