30-40대 기혼여성의 세탁습관과 세탁만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Washing Habit and Washing Satisfaction of Married Women in Their 30s and 40s)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate i) the current state of washing knowledge and washing habits ii) the effect of washing behaviors on washing satisfaction. A survey questionnaire was developed and implemented to married women in their 30's or 40's. A total of 210 responses were analyzed by frequency analysis, t-test and ANOVA with PASW18.0. The results are as follows. First, the ways in which women do the laundry was analyzed. Married women in their 30s and 40s usually do the laundry at home and are familiar with washing symbols and do not rely on common sense. Most of them like to rely on the washing machine guidelines for detergent concentration and use the right amount for environmental protection. They also adjust the washing machine setting effectively considering laundry time, water temperature and care label. Second, the groups divided by demographic variables showed meaningful results about washing knowledge. Particularly, there is no significant difference on washing knowledge between housewives and career women. Third, the groups divided by the levels of washing habits showed suggestive results about washing satisfaction. The groups who have correct washing habits generally a indicated high degree of washing satisfaction. Finally, marketing implications for the businesses of laundry, laundromat and the manufacturers of washing machine are suggested.

손씻기 교육이 대학생의 손씻기 지식, 태도 및 이행정도에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of an Educational Hand Washing Program on Knowledge, Attitude and Performance of Hand Washing in Undergraduates)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of hand washing education programs on knowledge, attitude and performance of hand washing in Undergraduates. Methods: The study used a nonequivalent control group quasi-experimental design. A total of 118 students in K university in Seoul, Korea, participated in this study. 67 students were included in the experimental group and 51 students were in the control group. The experimental group was given a lecture, Educational Hand Washing Program, developed by researchers. Using a structural questionnaire, the students' perception on hand washing was measured before and after the intervention, in terms of knowledge, attitude, and performance at home and school. Results: The experimental group showed significantly higher scores in knowledge (p=.033), attitude (p<.001), and performance at home (p=.001). However, the performance at school didn't show a significant difference between the two groups (p=.063). Conclusion: The results indicate that education is effective in enhancing knowledge, attitude, and performance of hand washing.

보건계 대학생의 손씻기에 대한 지식, 태도 및 수행도 (Knowledge, Attitude, and Performance on the Hand Washing of Health Care related Students)

  • 본 연구는 보건계 대학생의 손씻기 관련 특성과 손씻기 지식과 태도 및 수행도를 파악하여 올바른 손씻기를 수행하기 위한 방안을 제공하고자 실시하였다. 대상은 G광역시 일개대학의 보건계 대학생 425명을 대상으로 설문지를 이용하여 자료수집을 하였고 SPSS/WIN 18.0을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test, one way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient로 분석하였다. 1일 평균 손씻기 횟수는 8.7회, 시간(초)는 평균 18.5초였다. 손씻기 교육 수는 평균 2.4회였다. 손씻기에 가장 많이 사용하는 세제는 일반 세수비누, 손 건조도구는 종이타올이었다. 손씻기 관련 특성에서 손씻기 횟수와 시간은 손씻기 교육수가 6회 이상, 실습을 통한 교육 실시, 소독비누로 손씻기, 종이타올로 손 닦기 등에서 모두 유의한 차이로 높았다. 손씻기 지식, 태도, 수행도 점수는 여자(성별), 상급종합병원, 1일 11회 이상의 손씻기 횟수, 1회 손씻는 시간 16초 이상, 6회 이상의 교육 수, 실습을 통한 교육에서 가장 점수가 높았다. 손씻기 지식, 태도, 수행도간의 상관관계는 모두 유의했다. 이 연구 결과는 효과적인 손씻기를 위해 손씻기 지식, 태도 및 수행도를 높이기 위한 손씻기 교육프로그램을 계속적으로 개발할 필요성을 나타내고 있다.

임상실습 전 간호대학생의 손씻기에 대한 지식, 태도 및 수행도 (Knowledge, Attitude and Performance on the Hand Washing by Pre-practicum Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 임상실습 전 간호대학생의 손씻기 관련 특성과 손씻기 지식과 태도 및 수행도를 파악하여 올바른 손씻기 교육프로그램 개발에 관한 기초자료를 제공하고자 시행되었다. 3개 대학의 간호대학생 418명을 대상으로 2011년 9월부터 10월까지 설문지를 이용하여 자료수집을 하였다. 연구결과, 대상자의 1일 평균 손씻기 수는 7.2회, 시간은 평균 19.1초였다. 대상자의 손씻기 지식, 태도, 수행도 점수는 각각 11.34점(1~15), 3.42점(1~5), 3.6점(1~5)이었다. 손씻기에 적당한 소요시간, 손을 씻은 후의 주의사항 등에 대해서는 절반 이상의 대상자가 잘 모르고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 손씻기 전 시계를 제거하는 것, 코를 만지거나 기침한 후, 돈을 만진 후에 손을 씻는 것 등은 수행이 잘 이루어지지 않는 것으로 조사되었다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 간호대학생들의 손씻기 수행도 증가를 위한 교육프로그램을 개발하여 반복교육을 실시함으로써 올바른 습관형성이 이루어지도록 해야 할 것이다.

치위생과 학생의 손 씻기에 대한 지식, 태도, 수행도 (Knowledge, Attitude, Performance on the Hand Washing by Dental Hygiene Students)

  • 본 연구는 치위생과 학생들의 손 씻기에 대한 지식도, 태도, 수행도를 분석하고자 2014년 9월 5일부터 11월 20일까지 K대학과 H대학의 치위생과에 재학 중인 학생 288명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 일반적인 특성에 따른 손 씻기 지식도를 보면 학년에서는 3학년 4.72점으로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 스켈링 실습을 이수한 경우에 손 씻기 교육을 많이 받을수록 지식도가 높게 나타났고 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다(p<0.05). 일반적인 특성에 따른 손 씻기 수행도에서 손 씻기 교육 후 인식의 변화 '있다'가 4.17점으로 '없다' 4.03점보다 높게 나타났으며 유의한 차이를 나타냈다(p<0.05). 손 씻기에 대한 지식도, 태도, 수행도의 상관관계는 태도(r=-0.020)와 음의 상관관계를 보였고(p>0.05), 수행도(r=0.161, p<0.05)는 양의 상관관계를 나타냈으며 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 이상의 결론으로 치위생과 학생들의 올바른 손 씻기에 영향을 미치는 정기적인 손 씻기 교육프로그램을 개발하여 적용한다면 손 씻기에 대한 지식도, 태도, 수행도를 증진시키는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

군인의 손 씻기 지식, 태도 및 실천 조사 - KAP 모형을 중심으로 (Knowledge, Attitude and Practice (KAP) of Hand Washing for soldiers)

  • 본 연구는 군인들의 손 씻기 실태와 지식, 태도 및 실천 정도를 조사해 보고 상호 관련성과 영향요인을 파악하여 군대에서의 손 씻기 및 보건 교육의 기초자료를 제공하기 위함이다. 이를 위하여 병사 420명을 대상으로 설문지를 활용한 조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료의 분석은 R과 SAS를 이용하였으며 베타회귀모형을 활용하였다. 분석 결과, 손 씻기 지식과 태도 및 실천은 각각 통계적으로 유의한 상관관계가 존재하였고 손 씻기 교육이수 정도는 지식, 태도, 실천에 효과가 없는 것으로 분석되었으나 관련 홍보물 노출 정도는 지식, 태도, 실천에 유의한 효과가 있었다. 따라서 군인의 손 씻기 실천을 증진시키기 위해서는 홍보물의 지속적인 노출이 보건 교육보다 효과적이며, 홍보물에 반복적으로 노출됨으로써 손 씻기 지식, 태도, 실천에 모두 긍정적인 영향을 받을 수 있을 것이라 사료된다.

병원실습 경험이 있는 간호 대학생의 손 위생 지식과 이행에 관한 연구 (Knowledge and Compliance with Hand Hygiene by Nursing Students in Clinical Practice)

  • Purpose: The goal of the study was to investigate nursing students' knowledge and compliance with hand hygiene to find out the variables associated with compliance with hand hygiene. Methods: The participants were 1,020 nursing college students located in Seoul, Ansan and Suncheon. The variables analyzed in this study were; hand hygiene knowledge, hand hygiene compliance, hand washing habits, hand hygiene education with emphasis in school, emphasis on hand washing and role modeling in hospital, and hand hygiene beliefs. Data were analyzed by frequency, $x^2$-test, t-test and Pearson correlation coefficient. Results: 1. The correct answer average percentage of hand hygiene knowledge was 78.4%. 2. The average rates of hand hygiene compliance rate was 78.0% 3. Compliance rate had significant correlation with variables such as hand washing habit, hand hygiene education with emphasis in school, emphasis on hand washing and role modeling in hospital, and hand hygiene belief. Conclusion: 1. It is nessassery for nursing students to receive proper educational on hand hygiene knowledge during practices in nursing school curriculum. 2. Nurses should be encouraged to be a good mentor to nursing students on appropriate hand hygiene compliance in clinical practice.

일부 중학생의 보건교육경험에 따른 칫솔질과 손 씻기 실천의 연관성 (Relationship between toothbrushing and hand washing according to health education experience in middle school students)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between toothbrushing and hand washing according to health education experience in middle school students. Methods: The subjects were 480 students of four middle schools in Y region. This is a cross sectional study and the study instrument was adapted from the knowledge, attitude and practice of hand washing and toothbrushing in elementary school students by Jung. Cronbach's alpha was 0.87 in the study. The questionnaire consisted of 5 questions of the general characteristics of the subjects, 5 questions of hand washing knowledge, 3 questions of hand washing behavior, 3 questions of health education experience. Toothbrushing questionnaire consisted of 10 questions of knowledge, 5 questions of behavior, 5 questions of health education experience, and 5 questions of dental health care facilities within schools. Data were analyzed by PASW 20.0 program. Results: Toothbrushing more than three times a day accounted for 76.8%. Those who receiving health education in elementary school accounted for 41.5% and those who had not accounted for 58.5%. Health education experience(75.8%) led to toothbrushing after meal(p<0.05). Those who receiving health education in elementary schools had 1.76 times of toothbrushing after meal than those who had not(p<0.01). Conclusions: Middle school students receiving health education had a tendency to do toothbrushing and hand washing frequently.

국산 세탁기의 경쟁력 강화를 위한 세탁 실태조사 및 실험 연구(I) -설문지와 일기법 조사- (Integrative Approach for Improving Washing Machines (I) - Survey and Diary Method -)

  • The main purpose of this research was to examine the purchase and use behavior of consumers related to washing machines in order to develope strategies to increase competitiveness of washing machines manufactured in Korea. Purchase and use behavior related to washing machines were examined by survey method and detailed information on washing conditions and usage of washing machines were obtained by diary method. 398 questionnaires were analyzed in the survey and 35 housewives participated in keeping the records of their washings for 30 days. The results of the survey showed that price and a tangle of clothes were the most determinant factors for purchase of washing machines and the knowledge related to washing was relatively low The diary method revealed that washing loads and frequencies of washing increase with the household size, and functions of washing machines except water level are infrequently used. Comparisons between the survey and diary results indicated that consistency between the two methods depends on the types of questions.

VRE 환자의 보호자를 위한 감염관리 교육의 효과 (Effects of Infection Control Education for Families of VRE Patients)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of infection control education for families of patients infected with vancomycin resistant enterococcus (VRE). Method: Forty family members of VRE patients were chosen from a university hospital and assigned to the experimental or control group. The experimental group was provided infection control education that consisted of one-on-one instruction using an information booklet, hand-washing video, and demonstration of hand washing practice. Dependent variables were self-reported knowledge and performance of VRE infection control measures, and the number of hand washings when entering and leaving patients' rooms. Results: Knowledge and performance scores were significantly higher for the experimental group compared to the control group. The experimental group washed their hands significantly more often when entering and leaving patients' rooms than the control group. Conclusion: Infection control education for family members of VRE patients was effective in improving knowledge and performance of infection control measures as well as improving the practice of hand washing. Further investigation is needed on the effects of infection control education for families on the actual VRE colonization and/or infection rate.
