Among visual communications methods through new media, the typography becomes a key role in information transfer areas with the development of motion graphics. Recently, the researches on stereoscopic image productions have been carried out actively to increase the reality of created images, and the various new approaches for the production of stereoscopic images have been investigated. However, it is obvious that the researches using motion typography have not been studied sufficiently. Thus in this study, the stereoscopic images for moving typography are suggested and produced by using three experimental studies -- the experiments using text movement, camera movement, and finally, editing and composition. In the experiments, from the stereoscopic motion typography produced by our proposed methods, the various visual effects have been obtained, and the visual communication with high reality has been achieved.

In this paper, we present a novel approach to efficiently control the location of NPC(Non-playable characters) in the interactive virtual world such as game, virtual reality. To control the NPC's movement path, we first calculate the main trajectory based on the user's path, and then move the NPC based on the weight map. Our method constructs automatically a navigation mesh that provides new paths for NPC by referencing the user trajectories. Our method enables adaptive changes to the virtual world over time and provides user-preferred path weights for smartagent path planning. We have tested the usefulness of our algorithm with several example scenarios from interactive worlds such as video games, virtual reality. In practice, our framework can be applied easily to any type of navigation in an interactive world.
Advances in web technology have enabled technical convergence in various system environments to be carried out through the web interface. The Web can be categorized from the Web 1.0 to the 4.0, depending on its role, it has the characteristics of connects information, connects people, connects knowledge, and connects intelligence. In addition, various technological needs occurred through the mobile app during the 4th Industrial Revolution, and functions such as 3D, virtual reality, augmented reality, video/audio processing were enabled on the web, which was a simple means of providing information. Technical standards have been studied to support these period needs. In this paper, I would like to mention one of the Web assembly. We will explore ways to link and fuse Web assembly with existing web systems (or platforms) and analyze their technical implications through a variety of examples. In addition, we will conduct a study on the architecture that can fuse the existing javascript with the web assembly, and discuss the future direction of the study.

The utilization of virtual reality is increasing not only in games but also in medical care such as rehabilitation. Due to the convenience, the motion of the upper limb is detected using a non-contact method using video or a handheld type mouse, etc. In this paper, we implemented a glove which can measure finger movements and upper limb movements by using flex sensors whose resistance value changes according to the degree of folding and inertial sensors which can obtain direction information in space. We showed the upper arm movements including finger movements with signals obtained from the implemented glove on the open software platform, Processing. The sensitivity of each finger movement was 0.5deg, and the sensitivity of the upper limb motion was 0.6deg.

In this study, to reduce the time and cost disadvantages of the traditional motion graphic production method in order to realize the movement of a virtual camera identical to that of the real camera, motion graphics virtualization using AR Core-based mobile device real-time tracking data A method for creating a camera is proposed. The proposed method is a method that simplifies the tracking operation in the video file stored after shooting, and simultaneously proceeds with shooting on an AR Core-based mobile device to determine whether or not tracking is successful in the shooting stage. As a result of the experiment, there was no difference in the motion graphic result image compared to the conventional method, but the time of 6 minutes and 10 seconds was consumed based on the 300frame image, whereas the proposed method has very high time efficiency because this step can be omitted. At a time when interest in image production using virtual augmented reality and various studies are underway, this study will be utilized in virtual camera creation and match moving.
In the COVID-19 situation, digital textbooks have been used in many schools. In order for digital textbooks to become active even in the post COVID-19 era, the functions of digital textbooks must be improved. Digital textbooks are traditional book-type textbooks with glossaries, video materials, and evaluation questions added. Recently, they are being used usefully for practical education by providing realistic contents such as Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and 360 images. Therefore, in this study, in order to prepare for the post COVID-19, we found the functional problems of digital textbooks and suggested a way to improve them. First, the layout of digital textbooks should be developed as a responsive layout, deviating from the same form as a book-type textbook. Second, digital textbooks and learning management systems must be integrated. Third, by developing a digital textbook for teachers, teachers should be able to directly reorganize the contents or add external materials. Fourth, learning analysis should be possible using data recorded in digital textbooks. Fifth, in the 2022 revised curriculum, various subjects should be developed as digital textbooks.

Attempts to embody the three-dimensional world into works have continued without distinguishing between the times and the media, and the purpose is to realize an immersive state rather than the reproduction of reality. It was considered that the flat screen, which is the medium that finally faces the viewer in digital media art, hinders complete immersion, and this study investigated and analyzed the cases of works that give a sense of reality of space beyond the limits of the screen. Using the results of the analysis to produce the work, it was found that the presentation of the realistic space and enhancing immersion in the digital media art field should be viewed not only as visual video content on the screen, but also as an installation suitable for the exhibition environment and the resulting space itself.
This study was described to examine the meaning of the media exhibition work <70mK>, which aims to capture the topography of the collective consciousness of the Korean people through large-scale interviews. <70mK> edits and organizes interview images of individual beings in mosaic-like layouts and forms, creating video exhibitions and holding exhibitions. The objects in the split frame show the continuity of differences that reveal their own thoughts and personalities. This is a synchronic and conscious collective typology in which the intrinsic nature of the individuals is embodied in a simultaneous and holistic image. Interview images reveal their own form as a actual being and convey the intrinsic nature of one's own as oral information. <70mK> constructs a new individualization by aesthetically structuring the forms and information of life individuals in the extension of a specific group. The beings in the frame are not communicating with each other and are looking straight ahead. it conveys to visitors their relationship and personality as the preindividual reality. It is the repetitive arrangement and composition of heterogeneity and difference that each individual shows, and is a chain operation that includes collective identity behind it. <70mK> constructs the direct images and sounds of individual interviewee, creating a new form of information transfer called Video Art Exhibition. This makes metaphors and perceptions of the meaning and process of transindividual relationships and the meaning of psychic individuation and collective individuation. This is an appropriate case to explain with modern technology and individualization of Gilbert Simondon thought together with the meaning of becoming and relation of individualization. The exhibition space constructed by <70mK> is an aesthetic methodology of the psychic and collective meaning and its relationship to a particular group of individuals through which they are connected. Simondon studied the meaning of the process of individualization and the meaning of becoming, and is a philosopher who positively considered the potential of modern technology. <70mK> is a new individual as structured and generated ethical reality mediated by modern technology mechanisms and network behaviors. It is an case of an aesthetic and practical methodology of how interviews function as 'transduction' in the process of individualization in which technology is cooperated. The direct images and sounds of <70mK> are systems in which the information of life individuals is carried, amplified, accumulated and transmitted. It is also a new individual as a psychic and collective landscape. It is a newly became exhibition art work through the multiple individualization, and is a representation of transindividual meanings and process. The media exhibition art of individualized metastable states leads to new relationships in which viewers perceive the same preindividual reality and feel affectivity. The exhibition space of <70mK> becomes a stage for preparing the actual possibility of the transindividual group beyond the representation of the semantic function.

In this Paper, we propose 8K UHD (Ultra High Definition) encapsulation method for efficient transmission and reception based on MMT (MPEG Media Transport). Broadcasting services for 8K UHD allow users to feel the maximized reality. However, present technology is difficult to provide 8K UHD in broadcasting networks, because the 8K UHD bitrate is too high to be transmitted in the current broadcasting networks. Research for transmitting 8K UHD is underway. In some researches, a receiver is implemented with four 4K UHD display instead of a 8K UHD display. In order to transmit 8K UHD within the limited transmission bitrate of broadcasting network, 8K UHD contents encoded by SHVC (Scalable High Efficiency Video Coding) and then transmitted over heterogeneous network. For using the broadcasting and communication networks, MMT standard is used. MMT is IP based transmission protocol as the next generation transmission protocol. According to the MMT standard, video stream encapsulated and transmitted in MMTP (MMT Protocol) packet. IP-based broadcasting and communication networks can be used to transmit simultaneously, and the receiver can synchronize and play it. We propose an encapsulation method that can efficiently transmit and receive 8K UHD. The proposed method increases a payload rate and decreases an initial delay at the receiver. We show that the efficiency of the proposed method is verified by experimental tests.
