Sweep해법 및 공동구역 2차 재할당에 의한 복수차량 배송 최적화 연구 (Optimization of Multi-Vehicle Delivery using Sweep Algorithm and Common Area Double Reassignment)

  • An efficient heuristic for two-vehicle-one-depot problems is developed in this research. Vehicle moving speeds are various along hour based time intervals due to traffic jams of rush hours. Two different heuristics are examined. One is that the delivery area assignment is made using Sweep algorithm for two vehicles by splitting the whole area in half to equally divide all delivery points. The other is using common area by leaving unassigned area between the assigned for two vehicles. The common area is reassigned by two stages to balance the completion time of two vehicle's delivery. The heuristic with common area performed better than the other due to various vehicle moving speeds and traffic jams.

활주 직전과 제동 직전 속도의 상관관계 규명에 관한 연구 (Relationships Between Pre-Skidding and Pre-Braking Speed)

  • 이 논문은 타이어-노면간 마찰계수(drag factor)와 노면에 발생된 스키드마크를 통해 제동직전 속도(pre-braking speed) 산정을 정확하게 하기 위한 방법론을 제시하고자 한다. 제동직전 속도(pre-braking speed)와 활주직전 속도(pre-skidding speed)간 어떠한 상관관계가 있는지 판단하기 위해 실차 주행 및 제동실험을 통해 데이터가 수집되었다. 두 대의 차량에 fifth wheel(오륜) 장비, 스피드건, vericom 2000 등 다양한 측정장비를 탑재하여 제동실험이 수행되었으며, 자동차 속도, 제동거리, 활주거리, 감속도 등이 정밀 측정되었다. 실험자료의 분석을 통해 노면 마찰계수값과 활주직전 속도를 산정하고, 이후 활주직전 속도와 제동직전 속도를 비교하여 이들간의 상관관계를 규명하였다. 결과적으로 산정된 마찰계수값은 현재 일반적으로 적용되고 있는 0.8보다 높았으며, 제동직전 속도는 활주직전 속도보다 $5{\sim}10km/h$ 정도 높은 것으로 나타났다. 향후에는 다양한 차종과 노면조건에 대한 후속실험을 통해 더욱 정교한 한국형 분석모형의 개발과 실무적용이 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

차량으로 인한 다리의 진동응답을 줄이는 방법 (Reduction of Vibration Responses of a Bridge due to Vehicles)

  • The responses of a bridge due to a moving vehicle are obtained analytically by modeling a vehicle as a constant point force. From the results it is found that the responses after a vehicle leaves the bridge become very small for some speeds of a vehicle. When a vehicle is modeled as a two dof system for a more accurate analysis, the same phenomenon is observed while the roughness of the surface of the bridge is small. Determining the fundamental frequency of a bridge so that one of the above speeds coincides with a frequent speed of vehicles, the responses of a bridge can be minimized.

4개 시간구간에 의한 가변속도 차량경로해법 (A Possible Heuristic for Variable Speed Vehicle Routing Problem with 4 Time Zone)

  • A possible heuristic to solve metropolitan area vehicle routing problems with variable vehicle speeds is suggested in this research. Delivery hours are classified into 4 different time zones to make variable vehicle speeds no change within the same time zone to make TDVRP simple to solve. The suggested heuristic consists of 2 stages such as initial solution development step and initial solution improvement step. A computer program using C++ is constructed to evaluate the suggested heuristic. Randomly generated vehicle routing problems are used for the experiments. This heuristic could be helpful to logistics companies by increasing delivery efficiencies since the 4 zone classification is taken from the observed traffic information offered by a local government.

  • The important issue for intra-city truck dispatching system is to measure and store actual travel speeds between customer locations. Travel speeds(and times) in nearly all metropolitan areas change drastically during the day because of congestion in certain parts of the city road network. We propose a back-propagation neural network model to recognize the pattern of intra-city vehicle travel speeds between locations that relieve much burden for the data collection and computer storage requirements. On a real-world study using the travel speed data[1] collected in Seoul, we evaluate performance of neural network model and compare with Park & Song model[2] that employs the least square method.

  • This paper is concerned with the multiobjective vehicle scheduling problem with time and area-dependent travel speeds(MVSPTD), in which two conflicting objectives are explicitly treated and the travel speed between two locations depends on the passing area and time of day. The two objectives are the minimization of total vehicle travel time and the minimization of total weighted tardiness. First, I construct a mixed integer linear programming formulation of the MVSPTD, and present o heuristic algorithm that builds the vehicle schedules based on the savings computed. The results of computational experiments showed that the heuristic performs very well. Finally, I propose an expert system for vehicle scheduling in the MVSPTD. Its whole process is executed under VP-Expert expert system environment.

  • A vibration model of a helical gear pair for vehicle transmission is developed by considering the elastic deformation of the active teeth and the body to be a rigid. The main source of vibration in a helical gear system which caused by the mass unbalances of rotors and the transmission errors of gearings in mathematically formulated and applied to the analysis of vibration characteristics of geared systems. As an example, a simple geared system containing a helical gearing is considered. The critical speeds are found by the Campbell diagram and compared with the experimental results We expect this developed program to contribute to the reduction of the vibration and noise on vehicle a transmission in the field of both design and manufacturing. In addition, this program can be used as a basic program for CAD/CAM of low-noised gear teeth.

바이모달 트램의 횡풍에 대한 동적특성 해석 (Dynamic Charncteristics for Laternl Strong Wind on Bimodal Tram)

  • A bi-modal tram can travel in not only dedicated way but also road so as to reduce construction costs and increase vehicle operation efficiency, whose passenger capacity is 2,500 to 7,000 persons/direction/hour. A bi-modal has an electronic guidance system that knows the location and route of the vehicle, and uses magnetic markers in the road surface for reference. Since a bi-modal tram will be operated in the downtown area, there is some possibility that strong wind occurred between high-rise buildings can produce sudden lateral movement (displacement) of the vehicle to influence its automatic operation controlled by electronic guidance system. For bi-modal tram in the automatic operation mode, lateral movements occurred by strong wind were calculated and analyzed in the dynamic model developed by using the ADAMS. Some useful relations among vehicle speeds, wind speeds, and lateral behaviors were discussed in this paper.

  • The area and time-dependent vehicle scheduling problem(ATVSP) is a generalization of the vehicle scheduling problem in which the travel speed between two locations depends on the passing areas and time of day. We propose a simple model for estimating area and time-dependent travel speeds in the ATVSP that relieves much burden for the data collection and storage problems. A mixed integer nonlinear programming formulation of the ATVSP is presented. We also propose three heuristics for the ATVSP, developed by extending and modifying existing heuristics for conventional vehicle scheduling problems. The results of computational experiments demonstrate that the proposed estimation model performs well and the saving method is the best among the three heuristics.
