  • In this paper. the soft IP (Intellectual Property) of pipeline of 32-bit microcontroller for embedded and portable application is presented. This IP supports variable pipeline stage according to the performance that user wants. In this architecture, three pipeline stages are basically employed and extended to the five pipeline stages. To this purpose, control logic has been partitioned to reflect each pipeline stage. FPGA platform is used for rapidly prototyping the IP. This is designed using Verilog HDL

Adaptive Shot Change Detection using Mean of Feature Value on Variable Reference Blocks and Implementation on PMP

  • Shot change detection is an important technique for effective management of video data, so detection scheme requires adaptive detection techniques to be used actually in various video. In this paper, we propose an adaptive shot change detection algorithm using the mean of feature value on variable reference blocks. Our algorithm determines shot change detection by defining adaptive threshold values with the feature value extracted from video frames and comparing the feature value and the threshold value. We obtained better detection ratio than the conventional methods maximally by 15% in the experiment with the same test sequence. We also had good detection ratio for other several methods of feature extraction and could see real-time operation of shot change detection in the hardware platform with low performance was possible by implementing it in TVUS model of HOMECAST Company. Thus, our algorithm in the paper can be useful in PMP or other portable players.

  • 이 연구의 목적은 온라인 음악 플랫폼에서 부가가치서비스의 개념을 정의하고 온라인 음악 플랫폼에서 부가가치서비스를 사용하려는 사용자의 의향 모델을 제시하고 영향요인이 사용자의 의지에 미치는 영향을 탐색하는 것이다. 본 연구는 정보가치, 사회적 가치, 오락가치를 독립변수로, 플로우경험을 매개변수로, 자기인식을 매개변수로 하여 온라인 음악 서비스 플랫폼의 특성과 결합된 자극-반응 모델을 기반으로 하였다. 종속변수는 소비자의 사용의향으로 사용하였다. 본 연구에서는 SPSS와 AMOS 통계분석 도구를 이용하여 실증분석을 수행하였다. 결과는 온라인 음악 플랫폼의 부가가치서비스가 소비자의 플로우경험과 소비자의 사용의향에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 보였다. 본 연구는 온라인 음악 플랫폼 서비스의 이론적 결함을 채울 수 있으며, 이는 음악 플랫폼 사업자의 서비스 역량 향상 및 소득 향상에 긍정적이고 중요한 의미를 갖는다.

  • Latest technological innovation in the development of compact lower power radios has led to the explosion of Internet of Things. With Wi-Fi, Zigbee and other physical layer protocols offering short coverage area there was a need for a RF protocol that had a larger coverage area with low power consumption. LoRa offers Long Range with lower power consumption. LoRa offers point to point and point to multipoint connections. with Single hop communication in place the need for routing protocols are eliminated. LoRa Wide Area Network stack can accommodate thousands of nodes under a single LoRa gateway with a single hop communication between the end nodes and LoRaWAN gateway. This paper takes an experimental approach to analyze the basic physical layer parameters of LoRa and the practical coverage offered by a LoRaWAN under highly dense urban conditions with variable topography. The insights gained from the practical deployment of the LoRaWAN network, and the subsequent performance analysis is used to design a novel public utility monitoring platform. The second half of the papers is designing a robust platform to integrate both existing wired sensor water meters, current and future generation wireless water meters. The Common Automated Metering Platform is designed to integrate both wired sensors and wireless (LoRaWAN and Wi-Fi) supported water meters. This integrated platform reduces the number of nodes under each LoRaWAN gateway and thus improves the scalability of the network. This architecture is currently designed to accommodate one utility application but can be modified to integrate multi-utility applications.

무게-가변형 드론을 위한 동역학 기반 시뮬레이터 개발 (Development of Simulator for Weight-Variable Type Drone Base on Kinetics)

  • Regarding previously-developed drone simulators, it was easy to check their flight stability or controlling functions based on the condition that their weight was fixed from the design. However, the drone is largely classified into two types that is the one with the fixed weight whose purpose is recording video with camera and racing and another is whole weight-variable during flight with loading the articles for delivery and spraying pesticide though the weight of airframe is fixed. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the structure of drone and its flight principle, suggest dynamics-model-based simulator that is capable of simulating weight-variable drone and develop the simulator that can be used for designing main control board, motor and transmission along the application of weight-variable drone. Weight-variable simulator was developed by using various calculation to apply flying method of drone to the simulator. First, ground coordinate system and airframe-fixing coordinate system were established and switching matrix of those two coordinates were made. Then, dynamics model of drone was established using the law of Newton and moment balance principle. Dynamics model was established in Simulink platform and simulation experiment was carried out by changing the weight of drone. In order to evaluate the validity of developed weight-variable simulator, it was compared to the results of clean flight public simulator against existing weight-fixed drone. Lastly, simulation test was performed with the developed weight-variable simulation by changing the weight of drone. It was found out that dynamics model controlled various flying positions of drone well from simulation and the possibility of securing the optimum condition of weight-variable drone that has flying stability and easiness of controlling.

차륜형 캐터필러 및 좌석 위치 가변 구조를 갖는 휠체어 계단 이동 보조기기의 직진 주행 보정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Correction of Straight Driving of Wheelchair Assistive Device to Move the Stairs with Wheel Type Caterpillar and Seat Position Variable Structure)

  • 본 논문은 차륜형 캐터필러 및 좌석 위치 가변 구조를 갖는 휠체어 계단 이동 보조기기의 구조에서 비롯되는 계단 이동 중 직진 주행 이탈 상황을 모델링 하고 추정 및 보정하는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 주행 이탈 상황은 플랫폼의 Yawing 상황 모델 분석으로 주행 환경 특성상 Roll, Pitch와 Yaw 사이에 관계를 이용하여 Yaw값 변화 추이를 추정 하였으며, 차륜 구동 제어기의 제어변수 및 좌석 위치 제어 변수로 활용하였다. 정량적 검증 결과 약 10°의 Yawing 상황에서 약 7초 내외로 직진성 보정을 확인 하였으며, 좌석 위치 변화로 경로 보정간 회전 각속도를 47.5% 감소 시켜 직진성 보정에 효과가 있음을 확인 하였다.

연구데이터 메타데이터의 품질과 연구데이터플랫폼의 활성화의 관계에서 동기부여 요인의 매개효과 연구 (A Study on the Mediating Effect of Motivation Factors between the Quality of Research Data Metadata and the Activation of Research Data Platform)

  • 본 연구는 바이오 분야 연구데이터플랫폼인 K-BDS를 대상으로, 연구데이터 메타데이터의 품질이 연구데이터플랫폼의 활성화에 미치는 영향 및 이 관계에서 연구데이터플랫폼 이용에 관한 동기부여 요인의 매개효과를 밝히고자 하였다. 먼저 세 변인 간 구조적 관계를 구조방정식모형, 부트스트랩을 통해 분석하였으며 분석 결과, 연구자가 메타데이터의 품질에 대해 중요하다고 생각할수록 연구데이터플랫폼 이용의 동기부여 정도, 그리고 플랫폼의 활성화 의도가 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 동기부여 요인의 매개효과도 확인되었다. 추가적으로 각 변인의 하위요인간의 세부적인 구조를 회귀분석과 Sobel test를 통해 파악하였다. 그 결과 바이오 분야의 연구데이터 공유의 활성화를 위해서는 검색가능성을, 연구데이터 재이용의 활성화를 위해서는 발견가능성을 높이는 것이 가장 효과적이며, 인용가능성은 플랫폼의 활성화에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 플랫폼을 활성화하기 위해서는 우선적으로 메타데이터 품질을 향상시킴으로써 시스템적인 지원을 충분히 하는 것이 중요하며, 이를 통해 플랫폼에 대한 신뢰를 높이고 인용에 대한 혜택을 제도적으로 정착시켜 갈 필요가 있다는 시사점을 얻을 수 있다.

클라우드 기반 공통협업플랫폼의 사용행동에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Factors Affecting Use Behavior of Cloud-based Common Collaboration Platform)

  • 본 연구는 클라우드 기반 공통협업플랫폼의 사용행동을 알아보고자 실증 분석하여 결과를 도출하였다. 클라우드 기반 플랫폼의 독립변수들로 유연성, 신뢰성, 범용성, 보안성, 상호작용을 선정하였으며, UTAUT이론을 활용하여 사용의도를 매개변수로 최종적으로 사용행동을 종속변수로 선정 하였다. 조절변수로는 회사유형을 활용하였다. 가설검증은 AMOS 23.0과 SPSS 23.0 통계 프로그램을 사용하였으며, 클라우드 기반 공통협업플랫폼을 사용하는 사용자들을 대상으로 설문지를 배포하여 총 180부를 분석에 사용하였다. 분석결과, 신뢰성, 보안성, 상호작용은 사용의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 유연성, 범용성은 사용의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 최종적으로 사용의도는 사용행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 검증이 되었다. 마지막으로 회사유형에 따른 조절효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

Sliding Mode Controller with Sliding Perturbation Observer Based on Gain Optimization using Genetic Algorithm

  • The Stewart platform manipulator is a closed-kinematics chain robot manipulator that is capable of providing high structural rigidity and positional accuracy. However, this is a complex and nonlinear system, so the control performance of the system is not so good. In this paper, a new robust motion control algorithm is proposed. The algorithm uses partial state feedback for a class of nonlinear systems with modeling uncertainties and external disturbances. The major contribution is the design of a robust observer for the state and the perturbation of the Stewart platform, which is combined with a variable structure controller (VSC). The combination of controller and observer provides the robust routine called sliding mode control with sliding perturbation observe. (SMCSPO). The optimal gains of SMCSPO, which is determined by nominal eigenvalues, are easily obtained by genetic algorithm. The proposed fitness function that evaluates the gain optimization is to put sliding function. The control performance of the proposed algorithm is evaluated by the simulation and experiment to apply to the Stewart platform. The results showed high accuracy and good performance.

The Role of Empathy in Crowdfunding Channel Platform

  • Purpose: Crowdfunding can be a complementary channel in which start-ups or small companies can obtain financial help and take advantage of exploiting the online potential. To activate crowdfunding, it is necessary to consider a consumer's empathic responses. This article examines the role of empathy in the crowdfunding channel platform. We adopted the identification-commitment model to prove the role of empathy. Research design, data, and methodology: Participants were asked to read the charitable crowdfunding campaign. More than 300 young adults completed an online questionnaire and we analyzed it with structural equation modeling (SEM). To find out the role of empathy, we postulate several models which use empathy variable for different purposes. Results: We conclude that empathy has the role of moderator in the identification-commitment model. This means the high empathic response helped the relationship between identification and commitment. However, low empathic response can negatively influence the process of identification to commitment. Conclusions: This study found that virtual empathy is positively related to crowdfunding participation if we can elevate empathy in the crowdfunding channel platform. The findings also show that we need to consider empathic response when we want to raise funds for specific projects such as protecting the natural environment.
