The effects of salesperson's self-determination, shared value, and communication satisfaction on job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention in fashion companies (패션업체 판매원의 자기결정성, 공유가치 및 커뮤니케이션 만족이 직무만족, 조직몰입 및 이직의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to empirically examine the effects of salespeople's self-determination, shared value; and communication satisfaction on their job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention in a fashion company. Questionnaires were administered to 475 salespeople who worked in fashion shop at the time of the study. The data was analyzed via factor analysis, correlation analysis, and a structural equation model. The results indicated that self-determination was extracted as autonomy, competence, and relatedness. Only the relatedness of self-determination factors was positively correlated with formal and informal communication satisfaction. In addition, recognizing hared value was positively correlated with formal and informal communication satisfaction; whereas, the practice of shared value was positively correlated with formal, but not informal communication satisfaction. Formal communication satisfaction was significantly correlated with job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Conversely, informal communication satisfaction was significantly correlated with job satisfaction, but was not related to organizational commitment. Finally, job satisfaction was significantly correlated with organizational commitment and negatively correlated with turnover intention. Moreover, organizational commitment was negatively correlated with turnover intention. The implications of this research for human resources management within fashion companies are discussed in the concluding section of this paper.

The Effect of Environmental Values of Fashion Consumers on Purchase Satisfaction and Repurchase Intention of Eco-friendly Fashion Products (패션 소비자의 환경가치가 친환경 패션제품 구매만족도 및 재구매의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study analyzes how the environmental values of fashion consumers influence the purchase satisfaction and repurchase intention of eco-friendly fashion products. The survey was conducted from June $1^{st}$ to $30^{th}$ in 2009, and 343 responses were used in the data analysis. The statistical analysis methods were frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results show that the environmental values is classified by environment conservative value, economical value, social altruistic value, and egocentric value. The social altruistic value of fashion consumers affects purchase satisfaction of eco-friendly fashion products. The social altruistic value, environment conservative value, and egocentric value affect the repurchase intention of eco-friendly fashion products.

Effects of Airport Special Guard's Security Service Value on Customers' Satisfaction and Customers' Loyalty (공항특수경비원들의 보안서비스가치가 고객만족 및 고객충성도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aims at exploring effects of airport special guard's security service value on customers' satisfaction and customers' loyalty. Users of airport facilities located in Incheon were selected as the population in Jun. 2013 and the sample was extracted using cluster random sampling and 460 people were used for a final analysis. The questionnaire used for the study was composed of total 22 items including 6 items of socio-demographical characteristics, 6 items of security service value, 6 items of customers' satisfaction and 4 items of customers' loyalty etc. and using SPSSWIN 18.0, factor analysis, reliability analysis, multiple regression analysis, path analysis etc. were used. The credibility of the questionnaire was indicated to be over ${\alpha}$=.809. The findings are as follows. First, security service value has an effect on customers' satisfaction. if monetary value is enhanced, satisfaction with service composition is high. second, security service value has an effect on customers' loyalty. If monetary value and time value are enhanced, will of continuous use and will of recommendation of others are high. Third, customers' satisfaction has an effect on customers' loyalty. If satisfaction with service composition and satisfaction with use decision are increased, will of continuous use and will of recommendation of others are high. Fourth, airport special guard's security service value has a direct and indirect effect on customers' satisfaction and customers' loyalty. That is, it means customers' satisfaction is an important variable to mediate security service value and customers' loyalty.

Understanding the Effects of Hedonic and Utilitarian Values on Consumption Emotions and Customer Satisfaction (쾌락적 가치와 실용적 가치가 소비감정과 고객만족에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • This study attempted to identify the relationships among perceived value (hedonic and utilitarian values), consumption emotions, and satisfaction. In addition, this study also tested the relationships of measurement items of these variables. The data were collected from American restaurant diners who have experienced any Asian restaurants within the last 30 days. A total of 435 responses was used for data analysis. Descriptive statistics, principal component analysis, reliability test, and regression analysis were utilized to analyze the data. The results found that hedonic value influenced positive emotions and satisfaction. Utilitarian value increased positive emotions and satisfaction while decreases negative emotions. In addition, positive emotions increased customer satisfaction; negative emotions decreased customer satisfaction. In the measurement level, traditional music, traditional aspects of food, and restaurant layout of hedonic value influenced positive emotions and interior design had an impact on customer satisfaction. On the other hand, food taste and healthy food option of utilitarian value influenced positive emotions and satisfaction; only food taste was negatively related to negative emotions. Managerial implications were provided.

Relationships between Service Quality, Perceived Value, Satisfaction, and Loyalty -A Case of IhoTewoo Festival in Jeju- (지역축제의 서비스품질, 지각된 가치, 만족, 충성도의 영향 관계 -제주이호테우축제를 사례로-)

  • The purposes of this study are to identify the relationships between service quality, perceived value, satisfaction, and loyalty for IhoTewoo festival through a structural equation model. This study was conducted by means of survey questionnaire of festival visitors with 348 responses. The main results of the study are as follows. First, the exploratory factor analysis with principal component method of the 19 service quality items identified four underlying domains. These dimensions were labelled: (1) 'program', (2) 'informational service', (3) 'festival area', and (4) 'food'. Second, service quality has a significantly positive effect on perceived value, satisfaction, and loyalty. Third, Perceived value has a significantly positive effect on satisfaction. Fourth, both perceived value and satisfaction have significantly positive effects on loyalty. Fifth, Although the direct effect of service quality on customer loyalty was evident, it was also found that the indirect effects of service quality through perceived value and/or overall satisfaction were stronger. Thus, customer loyalty will be stronger when service quality is matched with perceived value and/or overall satisfaction, meaning that multiple factors play a significant role in determining customer loyalty.

  • The purpose of this study is to The exhibition's service quality was divided into three factors: event content, publicity, and empathy. First, the exhibition's service quality had positive effects on visitors' perceived value and overall satisfaction. Visitors' perceived value also showed a positive effect on their overall satisfaction. Second, each of visitors' perceived value and overall satisfaction had positive effects on their loyalty. Third, in effect decomposition, the total effect of the exhibition's service quality on visitors' perceived value was largest, followed by the service quality's total effect on their overall satisfaction and the service quality's total effect on their loyalty in order. In addition, statistically significant total effects were found between visitors' perceived value and overall satisfaction, as well as between visitors' perceived value and loyalty. As a result, mediating effects such as visitors' overall satisfaction had a positive contribution. Accordingly, statistically significant effects were confirmed in the relationships between all endogenous and exogenous variables.

  • We analyze how much employees' work abilities and overall satisfaction on the job or corporate influence on the productivity and customer satisfaction in the service industry, which is characterized by simultaneity, heterogeneity, intangibility and etc. Employees always encounter customers in process of the service. So, the employees' attitudes and behaviors have direct influences on the service quality or satisfaction which customers perceive. Also, employees' satisfaction or work abilities can lead to increase or decrease the productivity. To grasp and demonstrate the cause and effect relationship, we firstly measure the degrees of employee satisfaction organized by 11 factors through survey, and also measure employees' overall satisfaction, organizational commitment and productivity. Secondly, we define service value as the employee's objective measure index and collect it with the data related to customer satisfaction. Based on the collected data, thirdly we define how the relationship among the employee satisfaction, the productivity, the service value and the customer satisfaction are affected by the employees' work abilities and overall satisfaction with SEM(Structural Equation Model). And finally, we classify employees according to their abilities and the degrees of satisfaction respectively and suggest important strategies to manage them effectively.

  • Conceptualization of store image have been suggested in the past by many marketing scholars. The dominant perspective about store image is treated as the results of a multi-attribute model. Store image is expressed as a function of the salient attributes of a particular store that are evaluated. Though, there is a little confusions about what elements compose the store image, most scholars agree that merchandise, service, atmosphere, physical facilities, comfort, and location are generally accepted elements as store image. A considerable researches support that shopping can provide both hedonic and utilitarian value. Hedonic shopping value reflects the value received from fantasy and emotive aspects of shopping experience, while utilitarian shopping value reflects the acquisition of products. These two types of shopping value can affect shopping satisfaction. This study examines the relationships among stores images(store atmosphere, salespeople services, facilities, product assortment, and store location), shopping values(utilitarian shopping value and hedonic shopping value), and shopping satisfaction based on discount stores (E-Mart, Home plus, and Lotte Mart). The author hypothesized that five store image components affect shopping values, and these shopping values affect shopping satisfaction. The author focused on the roles of perceived retail crowding between these relationships. Specifically, the author hypothesized that perceived retailing crowding moderated the relationship between shopping values and shopping satisfaction. The author also hypothesized the direct effect of perceived retail crowding on shopping satisfaction.     . To test model and hypotheses, data were collected from 114 consumers located mid-size city in local area. The author employs PLS methodology (SmartPLS 2.0) to test hypotheses. Data analysis results indicate that among five store images salespeople services, and store location affect utilitarian shopping value.     • This paper presents a method for the estimation and analysis of the economic value of weather forecasts for CRM decision-making problems in the leisure industry. Value is calculated in terms of the customer's satisfaction returned from the user's decision under the specific payoff structure, which is itself represented by a customer's satisfaction ratio model. The decision is assessed by a modified cost-loss model to consider the customer's satisfaction instead of the loss or cost. Site-specific probability and deterministic forecasts, each of which is provided in Korea and China, are applied to generate and analyze the optimal decisions. The application results demonstrate that probability forecasts have greater value than deterministic forecasts, provided that the users can locate the optimal decision threshold. This paper also presents the optimal decision strategy for specific customers with a variety of satisfaction patterns.

    The Effect of Information System Quality on Customer Value and Satisfaction in Hotel Comparison Sites

    • In this study, variables were constructed based on prior research to examine the impact of information system quality (information quality, system quality, service quality), customer value and satisfaction in hotel comparison site. The samples consist of 205 survey data drawn from hotel comparison site users. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 21.0. According to results of the reliability and validity test, all were found reliable, and all items were included. The results are as follows: first, Among the information system quality (information quality, system quality, and service quality) of the hotel comparison site, the information quality and service quality have positive effects on customer value. Second, the information system quality(information quality, system quality, and service quality) of the hotel comparison site has a positive effect on customer satisfaction. Third, the customer value of the hotel comparison site has a positive effect on customer satisfaction.
