본 실험은 전해 알칼리수 처리에 의한 마늘의 저장성을 향상시키고자 실험실에서 직접 분리, 동정한 결과 Bacillus subtilis G-25와 B. lentimobus G-37로 동정되었다. 전해 알칼리수에 대한 살균효능 검정을 위해 마늘 부패균에 대한 최소저해농도(MIC)를 측정한 결과 전해 알칼리수가 마늘 부패균에 대하여 생육억제 효과가 있는 것으로 판단되었다. 이는 전해 알칼리수 처리가 마늘에 대하여 살균 효과가 있음을 나타내며, 유통 체계 개선 및 저장성 향상에 대한 기술개발에 중요한 매개체로 작용하여 그 이용 가능성이 높음을 시사해 준다.

The dried persimmons is produced fungi and develop browning, hardening in circulation at normal temperature. To resolve such problem in commercial value preservation, the research was conducted to measure the quality changes of dreid persimmons depending on pre-treatments and packagings at low temperature ($0^{\circ}C$) during 6 month storage. The rate of weigh loss, fungi, browning, hardening, surface chromaticity were changed a little in the "Cinnamon" pre-treatment and N/LDPE.

Open heart surgery has been performed on 20 patients, using hemodilution principle under the moderate hypothermia from Dec. 1975 through Aug. 1977 at the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Kyungpook National University School of Medicine. All these patients, body surface area ranged from 0.53 to 1.67$M^2$, were divided into two groups as a child group [below 15 yrs] and a adult group[above 15 yrs]. The oxygenator were primed with fresh ACD blood, 5 per cent dextrose, Hartmann`s solution, 15 per cent mannitol, sodium bicarbonate, dexamethasone and antibiotics. The average flow rate was 2.0 L/$M^2$/min. in child group and 2.3L/$M^2$/min. in adult group. The degree of hemodilution in child and adult group was 30.7% and 29.3% respectively. The minimal value of rectal temperature was $30.84{\pm}0.7^{\circ}C.$, in child group and $30.0{\pm}1.5^{\circ}C.$, in adult group. We studied the changes of hemodynamic status, blood components, electrolyte, acid-base status. blood lactic acid and urine output during and after cardiopulmonary bypass.

Cycloconverters can be classified into two types by the main circuit configuration. One is the non- circulating current type required the dead time the other is circulating current type which has the circulating current reactors. The switching devices were highly stressed by the load voltages during dead time on non-circulating current type operation and the circulating currents on circulating current type operation. The overcome those problems, this paper proposes the switching patterns for the partial and the non circulation current type. The PWM methods, which are saw wave comparing method and load current integrating value comparing method, are presented.

An interest in modern space is expanded to search for the relationship among human, space and environment, not limited the fixed or typical material place. For grasping and analyzing the characteristics and aims of modern space, this study is focusing on 'Dionysian outlook on nature' among the Nietzsche's philosophies. Nietzsche's 'Dionysian outlook on nature' based on his 'philosophy of creation and positiveness' has great implications for modern space because it focuses on not only circulation of existence and creation but also dynamic vitality the mostly. The reason is that modern space is required by the tendency changing the goal and aesthetic value by planner or user, not fixed and unchangeable any longer. The concept of space in modern construction is developed by forming various paradigms. Especially, various examples based on Nietzsche's Dionysian outlook on nature, philosophy of creation and positiveness, will be analyzed and possibility of new spatial concept's extension will be researched.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) is performed by artificial ventilation and thoracic compression for the patient under emergent situation to maintain at least the minimum level of respiration and blood circulation for life survival. Good quality CPR requires monitoring respiration. We developed a system for continuous monitoring respirational signal while CPR, using respirational airflow sensor for CPR. Signal extraction circuit obtains pressure signal while CPR. Obtained signal would be performed analog-digital conversion and changed to airflow value by characteristic formula. Single inspiration and expiration were considered a period. Detected valid data were displayed LCD.

The urban atmosphere is characterized by th difference in surface and atmospheric environment between urban and more natural area. To investigate th climatic effect of land use type and anthropogenic heat of urban on wind field, numerical simulations were carried out under typical summer synoptic condition. The wind model PNU_MCM(Pusan National University Mesoscale Circulation Model) is based on the three-dimensional Boussinesq equations, taking into account the hydrostatic assumption . Since lane-use differs over every subdivision on Pusan the surface energy budget model includes sub0grid parameterization scheme which can calculate the total heat flux over a grid surface composed of different surfaces. The simulated surface wind agrees well with the observed value, and average over 6 days which represent typical summer lan-sea breeze days, August 1998, i.e. negligible gradient winds and almost clear skies. Urbanization makes sea-breeze enhance at day and reduce land-breeze at night. The results show that contribution of land-use type is much larger than that of anthropogenic heat in Pusan.

The purpose of this study is to show data for protocol design which will be able to change body shape using the measured value before and after Meridian Scraping Massage with the Martin-type anthropometer through experiment result and questionnaire. The data analysis was done by paired-sample t-test using SPSS program and today, Meridian Scraping Therapy is being applied by various instruments which use meridian pathway and spots on the body suitable for acupuncture which promote blood circulation by eliminating toxin and maintaining body fluids balance. And they have such merit as easy to buy material and perform operation without side effect only if understanding massage principal.

Purpose : A clinical case of diabetic foot-wound repair using Hirudo medicinalis therapy and its application is reported and discussed. Methods : The subject was a sixty-six-year-old woman diagnosed with a non-healing wound indicating the amputation of her right diabetic foot. Instead, Hirudo medicinalis therapy was performed twelve times over forty days, twice a week. The transition of wound closure was observed with the naked eye, and the plethysmogram was measured at the beginning and end of the treatment period. Results : The wound contracted with decreased exudate, collagen-like connective tissue sprouted, and then the wound gradually closed. The initial value (-0.08) of the dicrotic elastic index rose to -0.03. Conclusion : Hirudo medicinalis therapy had a positive effect on the wound repair, without a negative effect on the circulation, allowing the foot to be saved. It is necessary to investigate its wound repair mechanism for the further development of the Sahyul method.
