The context-awareness is one of the core technologies in ubiquitous computing environment. In this research, we incorporated the capability of context-awareness in a case-based music recommendation system. Our proposed system consists of Intention Module and Recommendation Module. The Intention Module infers whether a user wants to listen to the music or not from the environmental context information. Then, the Recommendation Module selects songs from the songs that are listened by similar users in similar context, and recommends them to the user. The results showed that our proposed system outperformed the traditional case-based music recommendation system in accuracy by about 9% point.

This paper presents an u-health Care system based on context-awareness information. Extended project induced an education for creative engineering design. It could occur one of the issue for life care or wellness in recently life. Especially u-health Care system help on achieving this object as an efficient care-training with user blood pressure or with echocardiogram, electromyogram, electroencephalogram, or Electrocardiography. In this paper, development project show an u-health care system based on this parameters of the context-awareness with network service and analysis provide with working memory(DB) for user data base applications.

In this paper, we proposed the location tracking system based on MS-Based/Assisted(Mobile Station-Based and Assisted) location trigger service model with context-awareness for the intelligent location tracking of moving objects. It provides the proper resulting value that matches the context of users through the analysis about the situation of the user, physical environment, computing resource and the existing information on user input. In order to provide real-time data, we proposed the location tracking system which realizes the intelligent information such as the expecting arrival time and passing the specific area of the moving object by adopting the location trigger. So, it derives to minimize the costs of communication for the mobile object tracking applications. The proposed location tracking system based on context-awareness can be used for realtime monitoring, intelligent alarm/action, setting up of the optimized moving path, dynamic adjustment of strategies and policies. So it has the advantage to develop the application system which is aimed at optimization of the object tracking and movement.

The government has defined domestic violence as one of the four major social evils and tried to prepare laws and systems to prevent it. Nevertheless, domestic violence has emerged as a serious social issue, and compare to the number of domestic violence cases that are constantly increasing, the report rate of domestic violence is significantly lower. This suggests the need to improve citizens' perception of domestic violence as the issue to solve it together in society, not as a private matter at home. Most of existing contents for preventing domestic violence and improving awareness are simple viewing forms of video contents, which have little effect on recognition. We aim to confirm the possibility of improving social awareness about domestic violence by producing Virtual Reality (VR) contents that have great features of user's immersion and empathy. In this VR content, the user can interact with various objects in the virtual reality of domestic violence and directly or indirectly experience the victim's position. Users who view the violent environment from the victim's point of view can have a subjective empathy for the problem, which is expected to induce more active awareness about domestic violence.

This study was carried out to analyze moving awareness of students to physical conditions and attitudes on user's place to moving route. Moving awareness and route choice of students on variation type were grasped through questionnaire. As the results, the satisfaction degree, moving awareness and elapsed time for adaptation of students to physical facilities associated with moving class were antithetical to numbers of class and student. The more students, the more negative the moving itself. Especially, students showed a different tendency to route choice of high frequency moving and possession awareness of their belongings according to spatial nearness and composition of homebase. These basic data will be utilizable to suggest various model for composition and rearrangement of school space.

In this paper we will discuss a general idea about an information system which provides information a user really needs in user's authentication. We will discuss how RFID could be applied for this kind of system especially from the standpoint of using RFID as a way to collect information of personal belongings. Also we will discuss security issues of using RFID as a component of the proposed system because while RFID could provide usefulness, it could also be very dangerous for revealing private information without user's awareness.

With the advent of various services and devices in the change of IT environment, increasing the complexity of the data, and increasing scale of IT, Many organizations are experiencing the difficulty of analyzing and processing with a large amounts of data for security situations awareness. Therefore, propose the enhancement of security situational awareness through visualization in order to solve the problems of slow response and security situational awareness in organizational risk management. In this paper, we selected the evaluation factors and alternatives for effective visualization by considering user type, situational awareness step, and information visualization attributes through various studies on visualization. And established AHP layer model. Based on this, by using the AHP method for solving the problem of multi-criteria decision making, by calculating the factors for effectively visualizing and the importance of alternative by factor, try to propose a visualization method that can improve the effectiveness of the security situational awareness according to the purpose of visualization and the type of user.

As it is developing and growing up the mobile telecommunication, commercial mobile, and the application on it, the smart phone is attracting public attention techniques, hereafter. In this paper, we can make the context-awareness platform to supply users with the interface for their appropriate contexts using the smart phone. Therefore, we use the sensors in the smart phone, and the values from them are analyzed. As a result, we can estimate the user's contexts, such as the sitting and standing, movement, the lights, positions, locations, etc. In addition, we happen the suitable events from them for users. Therefore, we can provide the perspective interfaces for them. In addition, to prove the more efficiency of the proposed platform, we implemented the shooting game, and could know that the performance is the more advanced than the others. The proposed algorithm can be used for the mobile environments, which high efficiency is required such as the game, or the implementation of mobile applications which are more efficient to the user interfaces, etc.

It is show that increasing of aged and handicapped people requires development of Ubiquitous computing technique to offer the specialized service for handicapped-people. For this, we need a development of Context Awareness and Service Reasoning Technique that the technique is supplied interaction between user and U-environment instead of the old unilateral relation. The old research of context awareness needed probabilistic presentation model like a Bayesian Network based on expert Systems for recognize given circumstance by a domain of uncertain real world. In this article, we define a domain of disorder activity assistant service application and context model based on ontology in diversified environment and minimized intervention of user and developer. By use this context model, we apply the structure learning of Bayesian Network and decide the service and activity to development of application service for handicapped people. Finally, we define the proper Conditional Probability Table of the structured Bayesian Network and if random situation is given to user, then present state variable of Activity and Service by given Causal relation of Bayesian Network based on Conditional Probability Table and it can be result of context awareness.

This study aims to compare the awareness of the social value of public libraries between users and non-users to materialize the abstract concept of social value and, thereby, to present measures that can be applied to the library field. For this purpose, a survey was conducted in person or online for 15 days from May 7, 2023, targeting Paju citizens. Frequency analysis, factor analysis, independent samples t-test, and one-way analysis of variance were conducted on 206 valid response copies using SPSS 25.0. In the results, it is shown that, first, for awareness of the social value of public libraries according to socio-demographic characteristics, there were significant differences depending on age, with in particular, awareness among those in their 10s and 40s being higher than other age groups. For awareness of community development, the awareness of the female group was higher than that of the male group, while, for the awareness according to occupation, it is shown that awareness was highest in the following order: student, others, housewife, self-employed, and office worker. Second, for the awareness of the social value of public libraries, the awareness of the user group was higher than that of the non-user group in all areas. Third, for awareness of the social value of public libraries according to the level of library use, there was no significant difference between groups. In conclusion, it is suggested that measures to encourage non-users to become users, develop new content and services targeting male group and those in their 60s, and 20s, and strengthen community activities are needed to raise awareness of the social value of Paju City public libraries in the future.
