  • Since, the existing analog village broadcasting system had been affected by the climate change such as rain and had some problems likes as short range, it had been changed to the digital system and its standardizations required to be developed from now. In order to deploy the efficient digital wireless village broadcasting system, some propagation profiles as well as service coverages should be analyzed in various radio environments. In this paper, we have set up the transmission power as a parameter and estimated the service coverage area ratio as well as the area ratio interfered into the nearby village in rural, suburban and urban environments using spectrum management intelligence system (SMIS). This paper provides the basic data to establish a standard using the radio propagation characteristics and received power for village broadcasting system in various environments.

  • Background and objective: Due to the recent crisis of extinction in local areas, the mountain village promotion policy is recognized as an important task. This study examined the priorities of major policy projects in the forest sector that affect mountain village promotion. Methods: For research methods, literature search, expert advisory meetings, and a survey were conducted. The survey was conducted on 42 policy stakeholders from June 1 to August 13, 2021. The literature search was based on policy projects in the forest sector by 8 upper-level local governments including mountain villages. For questionnaire items, 173 forest policy projects were classified into 27 types through expert review, and the importance and performance of each type were rated on a 5-point Likert scale. Paired t-test, IPA, Locus for Focus model, and Borich needs assessment were used as the analysis methods, and the statistical program SPSS 21.0 was used as the analytical tool. Results: The results showed that 'creating forest-related jobs' and 'supporting cultivation of professional forestry workers' both showed high importance and performance, implying that they would show an effect in mountain village promotion. 'Creating forests for environmental improvement', 'discovering forest cultural assets' 'establishing and boosting forest tourism', 'providing forest therapy services', 'creating forest-related jobs', 'supporting community revitalization', and 'urban-rural exchanges' were found to be the types that needed improvement and concentration for mountain village promotion. In particular, 'creating forests for environmental improvement' and 'discovering forest cultural assets' were derived as priority considerations for mountain village promotion policies. Conclusion: In summary, it was found that in order to promote mountain villages, various content projects must be improved and carried out to enhance the physical environment and revitalize mountain villages.

Like this, the aims of moving into rural areas show difference. There is little conflict between people returning to rural areas and original residents, but some people have an intention to move the other place due to the conflict with original residents. So the community revitalization is needed for the active responses and suitable adaptation of them. On the basis of this study, policy tasks for return to countryside for farming or else were suggested as follows; 1) It is necessary to formulate each policy on return for farming and something else to rural areas discriminatively. 2) The economic support for a stable settlement of people returning to rural areas and the programs activating community with original residents are required. • This research is to establish a theme-type organic edu-farm model and provide ways to practically apply it so as to vitalize urban-rural exchange through the emerging concept of green tourism. This research also traces the practical development of organic edu-farm programs. Organic edu-farm(OEF) should be some of the ideas to develop organic agriculture resources according to the local features, and learn by direct and actual experience a life of organic farm. A few policy suggestions to put OEF model in practical use are proposed. What the state needs to do through direct involvement are to put efforts at demand expansion on organic farm products, to clean and beautify the green rural environmental settings, to build more urban-rural exchange facilities. What is more important, however, is financial support, to create the network and to develop program contents for each OEF operation unit. The OEF model proposed in this research will be applied as a relevant reference in planning and realizing sustainable green tourism at the village level.
