In 1995 it was proved by Gonz$\acute{a}$lez-Diez that the cyclic group generated by a p-gonal automorphism of a closed Riemann surface of genus at least two is unique up to conjugation in the full group of conformal automorphisms. Later, in 2008, Gromadzki provided a different and shorter proof of the same fact using the Castelnuovo-Severi theorem. In this paper we provide another proof which is shorter and is just a simple use of Sylow's theorem together with the Castelnuovo-Severi theorem. This method permits to obtain that the cyclic group generated by a conformal automorphism of order p of a handlebody with a Kleinian structure and quotient the three-ball is unique up to conjugation in the full group of conformal automorphisms.

In this paper we study the unique solvability of backward stochastic Volterra integral equations (BSVIEs in short), in terms of both the adapted M-solutions introduced in [19] and the adapted solutions via a new method. A general existence and uniqueness of adapted M-solutions is proved under non-Lipschitz conditions by virtue of a briefer argument than the ones in [13] and [19], which modifies and extends the results in [13] and [19] respectively. For the adapted solutions, the unique solvability of BSVIEs under more general stochastic non-Lipschitz conditions is shown, which improves and generalizes the results in [7], [14] and [15].

We consider the minimum order of a graph G with a given lazy cop number $c_L(G)$. Sullivan, Townsend and Werzanski [7] showed that the minimum order of a connected graph with lazy cop number 3 is 9 and $k_3{\square}k_3$ is the unique graph on nine vertices which requires three lazy cops. They conjectured that for a graph G on n vertices with ${\Delta}(G){\geq}n-k^2$, $c_L(G){\leq}k$. We proved that the conjecture is true for k = 4. Furthermore, we showed that the Petersen graph is the unique connected graph G on 10 vertices with ${\Delta}(G){\leq}3$ having lazy cop number 3 and the minimum order of a connected graph with lazy cop number 4 is 16.

Let R be a Krull ring with the unique regular maximal ideal M. We show that R has a regular prime element and reg-$dimR=1{\Leftrightarrow}R$ is a factorial ring and reg-$dim(R)=1{\Rightarrow}M$ is invertible ${\Leftrightarrow}R{\varsubsetneq}[R:M]{\Leftrightarrow}M$ is divisorial ${\Leftrightarrow}$ reg-$htM=1{\Rightarrow}R$ is a rank one discrete valuation ring. We also show that if M is generated by regular elements, then R is a rank one discrete valuation ring ${\Rightarrow}$ R is a factorial ring and reg-dim(R)=1.

We use Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem to show that the nonlinear neutral difference equation with delay x(t + 1) = a(t)x(t) + c(t)${\Delta}$x(t - g(t)) + q(t, x(t), x(t - g(t)) has a periodic solution. To apply Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem, one would need to construct two mappings; one is contraction and the other is compact. Also, by making use of the variation of parameters techniques we are able, using the contraction mapping principle, to show that the periodic solution is unique.

Recently the number of rural development plans are increased and projects supported by government are various. These makes rural plans important. But there are many gaps between proposed plan and implementation. These gaps were wasteful in terms of resource management. This study examines differences between plan and implementation and the reasons why they are occurred. For this purpose, we did a case study which is focused on the four-year implementation of 2004-2006 "Unique Experience Village Master Plan" of Seochon, Chungbuk. As a result, we verified facts of gaps and causes, and two major causes were detected : one is the absence of operating and managing body(such as promoter of project, village leader, residences), and the other is inadequate master plan.

In recent years, local governments are interested in constructing museums of various scales in relationship to unique factors of each region regarding their positive effects on tourist industry. However, many museums have failed to reflect regional characteristics resulting uniformed, uninteresting museum architectures. This study analyzes museum architectures designed by Ando Dadao, Antoine Predock's, Charles Correa, Carlo Scarpa, and Ricardo Legorrata based on 7 criterias of Kenneth Prampton's critical regionalism theory which are natural environment, materials, light, weather, unique culture, and history. It Is hoped that this study may serve as a stopping stone towards designing museums that reflect distinctive regional identities of Korea.

The ISO 90000 Quality System Certification is one of trends over the world. Many companies and organizations want to achieve the ISO 9000 certificate. But, some of companies did not fully consider the needs of certification before the decision of establishing the quality system to ISO 90000. If a company/organization wants to establish its unique quality system, it should consider some of points in the identification of needs, definition of application scope, effective ways of system establishing, top management committement, composition of task force team, practical involvement and development, analysis of process and assigned job functions, adoption of changes of business circumstances, and practical implementation of its unique quality system.

The hat is the most flexible human head covering. Almost entirely enveloping the hair, it can be simple, pure, elegant and mysterious. Yet it is frequently a highly decorative form of dress. The hat also takes a part in the extension of the area of art as soft-sculpture. My purpose of this thesis is to present diverse artistic hats with natural images by nontraditional materials and natural resources. The reason why I select nature as them is that it is absolutely the origin of life and art. To develop the innovative hat design, I focus on the material to extend the range of art expression. I observe nontraditional materials such as wire, paper and so on that enhance heterogenetic feeling from natural images. The attempt is made to enhance the visual effect by harmonizing the disharmonious feeling. Natural resources such as moss, orange, feather and so on could be adapted to the hat and applied for unique design, which supplies new expression. Therefore, the harmony of natural images and natural resources could avoid dullness, bestow elegance and polish the unique beauty creation of the hat.

When initially comparing Denmark with Korea, it would appear that the two have little in common. However, upon further investigation, one would find they are similar in that they both small Countries located outside of central continents without an abundance of natural resources. Each has also shown displayed its own successful design to the world. The unique qualities of Danish designs have both, in turn, influenced other Countries' designs, thus having a ripple effect worldwide in the design area. One may concluded that the schools educating these designers have played a role in Danish unique design success. This thesis investigates and details curriculums and goals of three furniture design departments of Universities in Denmark and, is useful for furniture department's in Korean schools who wish to have a better understanding of how Danish schools have achieved their success to date.
