2000년 이후 보그 이탈리아 에디토리얼 패션 사진에 나타난 광기이미지 (Madness images shown in editorial fashion photographs in Vogue Italia since 2000)

  • Modern society attaches great important to state of the technology, but, unconscious desire and subconscious are also discussed in an important value. In the social background of such madness is acting as an artistic inspirational to the many people. At such a time, fashion photographs also being used medium which speak for people's desire. Editorial fashion photographs with unusual stories or including experimental visual elements unlike fashion advertising have increasing. The subject of this study is the formative characteristics in recognition of madness from ancient times until now and find out new meaning of the unusual and informal form of editorial fashion photographs showed in Vogue Italia since 2000. The analysis data of this study, we used 36 photographs of editorial fashion photographs taken by Steven Meisel, Tim Walker and Miles Aldriege. The final process of analysis made in with agreement of 10 major people. We used photograph's basic visual elements as analysis to avoid arbitrary interpretations. The content of this study is drawing in editorial fashion photographs from the viewpoint of Michael Foucault's Madness theory, Deleuze and Felix Guattari's Madness as the aspects of desire. The madness images in the editorial fashion photographs were showed as Decadence, Blindness, Violence and Grotesque based on the analysis results from above. The formative characteristics of editorial fashion photographs enabled the awareness on the value and importance of madness in modern society. These editorial fashion photographs can be the source of our wider perspectives for changing recognition of madness.

  • 환상이 현실과 반대되는 영역이라는 생각은 널리 퍼져 있는 오해로서, 사실 환상은 현실과 밀접한 공생관계를 가진다. 환상은 상식적인 사람들이 생각하는 리얼리티의 범위를 벗어나 있으되, 일종의 대안적 리얼리티로 인정할 수 있는 수준을 넘어갈 정도로 벗어나지는 않아야 하기 때문에, 현실은 환상의 출발점이며 끊임없는 참조대상이다. 애니메이션도 마찬가지로, 애니메이션이 보여주는 환상의 세계 역시 리얼리티를 기반으로 하였을 때만 성립된다. 비현실성의 힘은 현실성과의 대조에서 나오며, 애니메이션이 관객을 매혹시키는 힘은 비현실성과 현실성, 비사실성과 사실성 사이의 끊임없는 진동에서 나온다.

  • 본 연구는 학문적 연구 대상에서 소외돼 온 텔레비전 드라마 작가에 관한 후속 연구로, 멜로드라마 <사랑과 야망>과 <내 남자의 여자>의 여주인공을 중심으로 김수현 작가 의식 저변을 탐구하는데 그 목적이 있다. 김수현 작가는 자율 통제 의식에 의해 텔레비전 드라마 장르에서는 보기 드물게 홈드라마와 멜로드라마의 장르 선긋기를 명확히 하고 있으며, 상대적으로 멜로드라마에서 두드러진 작가 의식이 발화된다. 본고는 멜로드라마를 통해 발화되고 있는 김수현 작가의 의식 심층을 탐구하기 위하여 라깡의 주체와 욕망이론을 적용한다. 라깡에게 주체는 언어의 기호작용에 의해 형성되지만, 언어의 상징계는 불완전함으로 주체는 '존재'로부터 '소외'되고 '결여'와 '분열'에 시달리는 주체이다. 이 주체는 타자와의 관계 속에 타자의 욕망을 욕망하고, 욕망의 대상이 되기를 원한다. 이 욕망은 전일체, 완전히 조화로운 상상계, 완전한 사랑을 끊임없이 요구하고, 상징계의 불완전성을 거부함으로써 지속된다. 이 거부 과정에는 무의식적 환상이 작동한다. 라깡은 '환상 가로지르기'와 '분리'를 통해서만 주체의 진정한 탄생, 해방이 이루어진다고 말한다. 20년 세월의 간극 속에도 <사랑과 야망>과 <내 남자의 여자> 속 두 여주인공의 갈등의 요체는 동일하다. 인간의 근원적이고 본질적인 주체의 결여와 욕망이 그것이다. 완전한 사랑에의 이상 추구, 그러나 현실에서는 불가능하며, 주체의 소외와 결여를 낳는 욕망의 고리 속에 주체의 진정한 해방, 자유를 향한 물음이 김수현 작가 의식 저변에 자리한 영원한 테제이다.

패션 일러스트레이션에 반영된 포스트휴먼의 신체 표현특징 (The Expressive Characteristics of the Posthuman Body in Fashion Illustration)

  • In the $21^{st}$ century, technology is a tool for the expansion of the five senses and physical ability that works as an element for posthuman identity. This study analyzes and theorizes on the characteristics of the posthuman body in fashion illustration. The method of this study analyzes documentaries about posthuman and fashion illustration. The results are as follow. Posthuman body types are classed as hybrid body, plastic surgery body, and digital body. The characteristics of the posthuman body are categorized as ultra- functional prosthetic, mythical undifferentiated, radical plastic surgery type and post-physical digitization type. The ultra-functional prosthetic type shows a restored body and upgraded functional body through a machine hybrid, cyborg suit and mannequin hybrid. It is a break from classical gender identity to form a nerve sense extension that displays physical and abstract power. The mythical undifferentiated type shows a therianthropic form, parts of an animal body, radical skin and gender bending. It represents the return to an undifferentiated world, the desire of a powerful being and the possibility of radical transformation. The radical plastic surgery type shows a photomontage of an ideal body, transgendered body, grotesque body marking, absence of partial or overall face organ and the expansion of abnormal body organs. It represents the expression of narcissism, unconscious desire, fantasy, fear and suggests an alternative ideality, sexual attachment and ambiguous gender identity. The post-physical digitization type shows an imperfect form or duplicated ego image through the omission of the body silhouette or detailed form, fragmented image using net, representative self like optical illusion using typography, an imperfect vague silhouette and immaterial body outline through the use of virtual light. It represents the lack of desire, narcissism, fluidity in a virtual space, the continued creation of a new self, ambiguous gender identity and the liberation of environment, sex, and race. Likewise, the posthuman in fashion illustration shows the absence of a species boundary, destruction of classical gender identity, a new personality and virtual self image.

마그리트 회화와 라캉의 주체론 - 응시, 세계와의 조우 (Magritte's drawings and Lacan's Subject theory: Gaze, Encounter with the world)

  • The subject is connected with a structure named "The Symbolic" to Lacan, but he denied that the subject is explained simply as a fruit of language and "Other". From his point of view, passing through Subject, De-formation and Crack over it is designated as foundation of generation and creation rather than our destined defect. It should not be understood that subject of "The Real" is a concept of the subject free itself from restraint of "The Symbolic". However, this does not mean he asserts "Subject" is something incapable of being controlled by the unknown power. The problem is that this autonomous existence meets inside of it with something "more than one's own self" by "circulating around itself" like a permanent star. This is the indication of a "stranger in the middle of my privacy", or "extimit$\'{e}$", a coined-word by Lacan. Perhaps "Subject" is nothing more than the name of distance of object which is "too hot" to come close, and of this circulating movement. It's because of this object that the real subject stands against generalization and the subject can't be restored to any place in symbolic order-even though it is empty. The part which is told from Lacan's structural theory, that is to say, an importance to Lacan is that his Subject theory is not suggested or denied as a manual structure. On the contrary, it is a study of the relationship between the settled symbol that included in "real subject which is a unconscious one" and the symbolic subject hold- that is a metaphysical subject in general meaning. In Lacan's enlarged concept of subject beyond symbolic reality, it is noticeable that it gives justifiability to the union of a medium of different nature in artistic expression. We can recognize that the unconscious world is a living space which enables it to be a "condition of human being", not something dark under the surface of water through Magritte's(Rene Magritte, 1898~1967) surrealistic works. In other words, Magritte's art secures a core dimension of human nature through a mysterious gap of conscious and settled space. Magritte's drawings often evokes strange and unsettling feelings in people who view his paintings. This is because routine objects are found in "unsuitable" places from which we usually find them in our everyday lives. "Reality" in Magritte's paintings makes it aware that it is a strained field of concealment and disclosure basically between truths, and we can learn that his behavior to overturn to paint in-visible things is finally an effort to restore the "real subject" to the viewer's reality. In other words, such reversion arouses a nostalgic desire for the objects existing in their original appearance as they are - natural condition that our gaze had not been distorted yet by anamorphic stains. - and the state when we are conscious of them normally. Such desire offers an opportunity for us to get out of mental depression rather than operates to us as an abnormal crack. It's a successive process of effort to search for lost subject and Paradise Lost facing up to reality of subject human that is to be a subject of world and life are ousted from their place by structure and authority of culture.

  • One faces four major developmental tasks to achieve in young adulthood, ages between 20 and 40 : intimacy, vocation, marriage and child-rearing. Intimacy is the capacity to commit oneself to concrete affiliations and partnerships and to develop the ethical strength to abide by such commitments, even though they call for significant sacrifices and compromises. Through vocation and marriage young adults become united to networks of persons, find tasks that demand involvement, and gain roles into which they fit and are fitted and which help define their identities. An occupation represents much more than a set of skills and functions : it means a way of life. The extent of vocational choice increases with educational level, and the unconscious factors are frequency the decisive element. The vocational choice stare with fantasy choices in childhood, passes through tentative choices in adolescence, realistic choices in college days, and crystallized choices in post-college days, and finally ends up to the choice of specification. Along with the hazards and the need for realignment of personality functioning, the marriage brings with it new opportunities for self-fulfillment and completion. Motives other than a romantic love gain more importance in the decision to marry and in the choice of a partner. The impulsions to marry are sexual gratification, the desire to propagate, narcissistic gratification, and a need of interdependence. Many factors such as oedipal wishes, sexuality and sexual attractions, socio-economic classes, and geography involve in selection of marriage partner. There are also various motivations to marry a romantic love, the desire for a home of one's own, sexual attractions, the wish for security and a shelter, and the wish for children. The hostile marriage, the marriage on the rebound, the marriage rooted in rescue fantasies, and sado-masochistic marriage are the examples of pathological marriages. A successful marriage will usually both Lead to and require a marked reorganization of the personality structure of each partner that will influence the lurker personality development of each. Many marital problems are largely dependent upon the personality characteristics of one partner which might well create difficulties no manor who was the spouse.

  • 영화는 항상 실재(reality)와 허구(imagination)를 바탕으로 시대의 문화를 반영해 왔으며 영화에서의 시각 효과는 주로 현실을 더욱더 현실감 있게 표현하거나 가상을 현실로 인식시켜주는 역할을 해 왔다. 본 연구는 환상적 사실주의가 갖는 이미지를 이창동 감동의 오아시스를 통해 내표된 의미와 그 작용에 대해 알아보았다. 환상적 사실주의는 이미지로서 영화내의 시간과 공간에 영향을 미치며 인간의 보고자 하는 욕망과 보이고자 하는 욕망을 거울이라는 이중적 의미의 도구를 사용하여, 현실과 상상의 공간을 분리하였다. 또 비둘기라는 매개를 통해 현실 세계에 재현되었다. 영화 내러티브 구조에서 가시화된 공간과 비가시회된 공간을 분리시키고, 현실과 비현실적 공간의 분리, 의식과 무의식의 공간의 분리, 현실과 현실공간을 권력 구조로 분리하여 사용되었다. 기술의 발전과 함께 황상의 이미지는 우리에게 더 실재처럼 다가오고, 이는 우리가 생각하지 못한 무의식의 공간을 표현해 낼 것이다.

  • Man has an unconscious desire to free oneself from everyday selves and a strong intellectual desire to see and analyze things in a different perspective. This provided a momentum for architectural design that has long been confined to its limits of modernism of being rational and objective. The ever-changing society that we live in filled with various attempts and pluralistic characteristics shows a complex set of attributes that can hardly be defined by a single term. As society moves towards an uncertain and volatile state, the boundary between literature, philosophy and art has dimmed out and converged. Such tendencies have been observable in recent establishments in architecture in the form of introducing external elements and create an alien and farfetched architectural space. Using the 'depaysement' defamiliarization method expressing irrationality and randomness, it is applied in various aspects, sharing the counter-rational structure and features of such architectural space. Hence, it is the purpose of this study to delve into the unique characteristics of depaysement through Magritte's work which reflects the unique pictorial world built under the influence of surrealism, and discover the $D\acute{e}paysement$ tendencies in modern architectural space. It is apparent in Modern architecture that, owing to the development in digital technology, it is showing process changes in design and an interfacial $D\acute{e}paysement$ effect in cyberspace, an interlace of reality and the virtual world. In this study, the focus of analysis was architectural properties such as the program, figure/spatial, material and the objective side, but due to mutual text properties, it is bound to be an overlapping analysis.

음식점의 객석 배치와 착석 심리 연구 -패스트푸드 점을 중심으로- (The Study on the Guest Seats Arrangement and Seating Psychology in Restaurant)

  • The restaurant is regarded as the place of association and rest, and is the commercial facilities required the space of delightful and comfortable in mentality as well as the visual satisfaction for the users. The customers have their tendency to avoid the visual and physical contact between the strangers in the restaurant. Therefore, it is required to arrange the undisturbed space from strangers through the appropriate guest seats arrangement by understanding such mental basement. In this study, we have examined the way of space application between the people in the space and the mental mechanism, and we made study and analysis on the conciusness & behavior of the users of the restaurant actually. As the result, the theoretical study was connected to the customers conscious or unconscious behavior and the same results was come out from the paper-and-pencil test and observation research, and its appropriateness was clarifed. To put it briefly , the people have been showing their trends to prefer the place where have a fine view, undisturbed from others and may keep to the private area. On the whole , they prefer the visual variation somewhat rather than the simple, and they are fond of the space of open and comfortable. and also showing that the mental environment could be established by the control of physical environment. Therefore, we can say that the restaurant is required to fulfill this spatial desire of the users through the guest seats arrangement and other visual factors.

초현실주의 회화의 Automatism 기법을 이용한 패션디스플레이 (Fashion Display by Automatism Techniques of Surrealism Paintings)

  • The surrealism for the revelation of the unconscious realms shares the inner world of mentality with modern fashion display for the visual expression of sensation each other. The analysis of the influence which automatism technique of surrealism exerts on fashion display showed as follows : 1) The automatism technique elevated the dramatic effect of the sales room by scraping the perspective, or the principle of visual arts. 2) It maximized the effect of subject of the display by coinciding surrealism with realism. 3) The technique which distorts the things heralded the strong message to customers by letting them keep away from the fixed idea. 4) Humorous expression of display brought about the effect of sales stimulation by giving astonishment, shock and exaggeration. 5) Expression of surrealism and realism caused customers to feel shock, illusion, fantasy. 6) The automatism technique expressed the high-tech image, and free expression by revealing the diversity of subject. 7) Display hinted from nature satisfied the mental desire of the human beings to be assimilated with nature. The formative characteristic presented the new possibility of combination of display with arts through the avant-garde sensation. Sale's room, or the marketing space was to be sublimated to three dimensional art space, which enhanced the image of sale's room, furthermore meeting the demand of moderner's lifestyle.
