A printed Tee-type monopole antenna loaded by a pair of L-type slots is studied. The effects of position, width, and length of loaded slots on frequency bandwidth of the antenna are examined. As an examples, a compact dual band monopole antenna is designed for the ISM band $[2.4\sim2.48GHz,\;5.15\sim5.35GHz,\;and\;5.725\sim5.85GHz]$ use and the characteristics of the constructed antenna are studied experimentally.

The purpose of this paper is to propose a new type of NPI licensing context through French subjunctive and ne expletif. The distribution of NPIs on previous studies does not exactly correspond to negative function types. French subjunctive and ne expletif are good guidelines for reclassifying NPI licensing context. My classification is by a hierarchy of strength in negative force: overtly negative proposition > negative entailment > negative implicature. A new type of NPI licensing context is: (i) I-domain for negative implicature (ⅱ) E-domain for negative entailment and (ⅲ) overt negation.

We consider the problem of estimating the scale parameter of the Weibull distribution based on multiply Type-II censored samples. We propose two estimators by using the approximate maximum likelihood estimation method for Weibull and extreme value distributions. The proposed estimators are compared in the sense of the mean squared error.

By assuming a type-II censoring, we propose the approximate maximum likelihood estimators (AMLEs) of the location and the scale parameters of the two-parameter Rayleigh distribution and calculate the asymptotic variances and covariance of the AMLEs.

We study a maximal operator defined on spaces of homogeneous type, and we prove that this operator is of weak type (1,1). As a consequence we show that the maximal operator belongs to the Muckenhoupt's class $A_1$.

By assuming a Type-I censored sample, we propose the approximate maximum likelihood estimators(AMLE) of the scale and location parameters of the gamma distribution. We compare the proposed estimators with the maximum likelihood estimators(MLE) in the sense of the mean squared errors(MSE) through Monte Carlo method.

In this paper, we derive the approximate maximum likelihood estimators of the scale parameter and location parameter of the double exponential distribution based on Type-II censored samples. We compare the proposed estimators in the sense of the mean squared error for various censored samples.

인터넷 발전은 교육과 평가 방법에서 많은 변화를 가져왔다. 인터넷을 이용한 원격교육은 학습 결과를 측정하기 위해 시험의 시행이 온라인으로 이루어지고 있다. 온라인 시험은 출제 및 시험 감독에 대한 연구가 많이 진행 되었지만 시험 답안의 진본성 검증에 대한 연구는 이루어지지 않고 있다. 시험 답안지 작성 형식에는 선택형, 단답형, 서술형, 실습형 등이 있는데 실습형을 제외한 답안 작성은 웹상에서 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 실습형 답안지 중 컴퓨터활용 답안의 진본 확인을 위해 답안지에 검증정보를 기록하여 진본임을 검증할 수 있는 시스템을 구현한다. 이 시스템의 특징은 인터넷에서 컴퓨터활용 시험 실시 중 답안지가 부정하게 작성되었는지를 검증하는 것이다. 이 시스템은 진본 검증을 위해 검증정보를 서버에서 응시자 답안지에 기록하도록 하였으며, 그 결과 제출된 답안지의 검증정보를 이용하여 진본여부를 검증하는 것이다.

건설분야에서 표준화된 정보체계에 따라 XML 전자문서를 개발할 수 있도록 UN/CEFACT의 핵심요소 개발 지침을 기반으로 XML 라이브러리를 개발하였고 XML 라이브러리에 핵심요소, 비즈니스 정보체계, 핵심요소 유형의 기초가 되는 한정어 데이터 유형(Unqualified Data Type)을 포함하고 있다. 본 연구는 건설정보의 특성을 반영한 16종의 한정어 데이터 유형과 속성정보를 정의하고 XML 스키마를 개발하였다.

By assuming a general progressive Type-II censored sample, we propose the minimum risk estimator (MRE) and the approximate maximum likelihood estimator (AMLE) of the scale parameter of the one-parameter exponential distribution. An example is given to illustrate the methods of estimation discussed in this paper.
