The purpose of this study were to translate the Fullerton Advanced Balance (FAB) scale into Korean and to verify the content validity by utilizing a back-translation method with a view to assessing balance function and the risk of falling in a clinical research setting. This research was conducted in six steps. First, three Korean physical therapists translated the FAB scale into Korean. Second, two bilingual professors of physical therapy and a physical therapist evaluated translation conformity of Korean-translated FAB scale. In the third and fourth steps, twelve physical therapists evaluated the degree of translation comprehension, and a translator back-translated the Korean FAB scale into the original language. Fifth, a bilingual professor of physical therapy and two native speakers evaluated the technical and conceptual equivalence between the original and translation versions. In this process, inappropriate translated items were revised using recommended substitute words or sentences, and all items were evaluated on the basis of three points or more on a rating scale in terms of translation comprehension, and the technical and conceptual equivalence of the back-translation. In the sixth and last step, the translation verification committee completed the final Korean version. The above process indicated that the content validity of the Korean-translated FAB scale was established by means of systematic translation methods, and it can therefore be used to assess balance function and the risk of falls in a clinical research setting.

본 논문에서는 반도체 제조 공정에서 장비와 호스트간에 통신을 할 수 있는 SECS(SEMI Equipment Communications Standard) 프로토를의 개발을 제안한다. SECS 프로토콜은 메시지 전송을 위한 헤더 부분을 정의하는 SECS-I 프로토콜과 메시지 내용을 정의하는 SECS-II 프로토콜로 나뉘어지는데, RS232 시리얼 통신을 하는 SECS-I 프로토콜 대신에 이더넷(ethernet)을 통해 TCP/IP 통신을 할 수 있는 HSMS 프로토콜을 구현하고자 한다. HSMS(High-speed SECS Message Services)프로토콜은 SECS-I과 마찬가지로 SECS-II 메시지 내용을 전송 할 수 있도록 10바이트 크기의 헤더로 정의된다. HSMS 프로토콜 통신은 TCP/IP를 기반으로 하기 때문에 SECS 메시지 전송을 위한 통신 선로를 설정하기 위해 소켓 API를 응용하고 항상 통신 대기상태를 유지하기 위해 데몬(daemon) 형태로 구성한다. 실제 메시지 내용을 정의하고 있는 SECS-II 프로토콜은 데이터 인덱스 테이블과 표준에 정의된 형식에 맞게 파일형태나 DLL(Dynamic Link Library)형태로 구성하고 프로세스 프로그램(process program)을 수행하기 위해 SECS 프로토콜 표준에서 정의하는 SML(SECS Message Language)형식으로 변환 할 수 있는 스크립트 변환기(script translator)를 구현한다. 또한 HSMS 프로토콜이 전송할 SECS-II 메시지를 저장하기 위한 파라미터를 정의하고 실제 통신을 위한 테스트 베드를 위한 응용 프로그램을 제작한다

Applications such as vibration isolation, gravity compensation, pick-and-place machines, etc., would benefit from (long-stroke) cylindrical/tubular permanent magnet (PM) actuators with integrated passive gravity compensation to minimize the power consumption. As an example, in component placing (pick-and-place) machines on printed circuit boards, passive devices allow the powerless counteraction of translator including nozzles or tooling bits. In these applications, an increasing demand is arising for high-speed actuation with high precision and bandwidth capability mainly due to the placement head being at the foundation of the motion chain, hence, a large mass of this device will result in high force/power requirements for the driving mechanism (i.e. an H-bridge with three linear permanent magnet motors placed in an H-configuration). This paper investigates a tubular actuator topology combined with passive gravity compensation. These two functionalities are separately introduced, where the combination is verified using comprehensive three dimensional (3D) finite element analyses.

A video-conference system is being utilized in web based application services in various fields due to the widespread use of Internet and the progress of computer technologies. This system should use the public IP address for sharing file and white board and it is difficult to manage the internal network users of the firewall and non-public IP address users. In this paper, we propose an Application Level Gateway which transforms non-public IP address into public IP address. This mechanism is for the internal network users of the firewall or non-public IP address users over the Internet. We also propose a Control Daemon which manages video and audio media dynamically according to network bandwidth. This mechanism can start and terminate a video conference and manage the process of the video conference.

Network management in TMN concerns to the operating system and communication equipments in network, and defines them as objects. GDMO(guidelines for the Definition of Managed Objects) is used to describe those objects. GDMO is not directly used for managing the network, but translated into a language with object-oriented paradigm. And GDMO refers to ASN.1(Abstract Syntax Notation One) for manage objects. This paper presents design and implementation techniques for the translator which automatically translates the specification of ASN.1 and GDMO to the object-oriented language for generating MIB(Managed object Instance Base). This system, unlike the existing source code generator, is designed to generate various object-oriented languages automatically, which are used to generate Managed object Instance Base(MIB). And the system includes various graphic user interface to enhance the development environment of ASn.1 and GDMO

자바 언어는 객체지향 언어이며 효율적인 애플리케이션을 개발하기 위해 설계되었다. 특히 다양한 개발 환경과 이식성에 맞는 언어로써 각광을 받고 있다. 하지만 자바 언어로 애플리케이션을 개발하면 다른 언어로 작성하는 것 보다 실행이 느리다는 단점을 가지고 있다. 이러한 자바 실행 속도를 극복하기 위해 많은 연구가 되고 있는데, 그 중에서도 JIT방식과 네이티브 코드로 변환 방식이 있다. 본 논문은 스택기반의 자바 바이트코드에서 3-주소 형태로 변환하여 최적화하는 CTOC중에서 바이트코드에서 3-주소 형태 즉 CTOC-T의 중간 표현인 CTOC-B를 설계하려 한다. CTOC-B는 스택기반의 중간표현으로써 자바 바이트코드보다 코드의 변환과 분석이 용이하게 만든 형태의 표현이다. 본 논문에서는 자바 바이트코드에서 스택기반 중간코드인 CTOC-B 코드로의 효율적인 변환기를 설계하며, CTOC-B의 특징을 분석해 본다.

최근 인터넷상에서 DTD 기반의 XML 문서가 문서의 교환의 목적으로 사용되어 B2B 상에서 XML 문서의 사용이 증가하고 있다. 그러나 DTD는 데이터 타입이 제한적이고 사용자가 원하는 형태를 정의하여 사용할 수 없기 때문에 좀더 유연하고, 재사용이 가능한 스키마를 B2B 상에서 표준으로 이용을 하게 되었다. 스키마는 객체 지향적이기 때문에 새로운 타입을 선언 시 기존의 데이터와 타입을 이용하여 확장 또는 제한을 하여 재사용성이 뛰어나다. 그러나 기존의 스키마 자동 생성기는 사용자가 바라는 최적화 코드가 아니고, 스키마의 장점인 모듈화가 전혀 되어 있지 않아, 재사용을 할 수가 없다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존 자동 생성기의 단점을 극복하여 문서를 XML 스키마로 변환할 때 모듈화가 되고, 재사용이 가능한 코드를 만들 수 있도록 자동 변환기를 설계하며, 기존의 변환기가 사용자 시점에서 사용하기가 어렵고, 복잡한 인터페이스를 가지고 있기 때문에 이를 사용하기 쉽게 단순화하고 DTB와 스키마를 다양한 외양으로 볼 수 있는 스타일(Style) 에디터를 첨가하여 변환기를 구성한다.

홈 네트워크의 문제점인 IP 부족 문제와 부가 서비스(디지털 컨텐츠의 지능형 서비스, 서비스 번들 지원 등) 제공의 한계성을 극복하기 위해 Service Server for Residential Gateway(SSRG)를 제안한다. SSRG는 단독주택뿐만 아니라 대규모 아파트 단지 혹은 주택단지에 개별적으로 설치된 RG를 통합 관리하는 서버로서 홈 네트워크 및 내부 네트워크에 로컬 IP를 부여하고 RG와 SSRG를 NAT(Network Address Translator)를 통하여 제어함으로써 P의 문제를 해결함과 동시에 각 홈 네트워크와 RG의 기능을 확대하고 보다 많은 부가 서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 구현하였다. 제안된 SSRG는 가정 내에 보다 확장된 서비스와 기기 관리를 위한 통로 제공, RG 및 각종 기기들의 소프트웨어 업그레이드 및 기기 상태점검이 가능하고, 또한 사설 IP 상에서도 기기들을 외부에서 액세스 할 수 있고 각종 서버를 하나의 단지 혹은 논리적으로 구분되는 하나의 서브 넷에 두게 됨으로써 관리 및 향후 보수가 용이한 장점이 있다.

This paper presents a queuing analysis model of a PC-based software router supporting IPv6-IPv4 translation for residential gateway. The proposed models are M/G/1/K or MMPP-2/G/1/K by arrival process of the software PC router. M/G/1/K is a model of normal traffic and MMPP-2/G/1/K is a model of burst traffic. In M/G/1/K, the arriving process is assumed to be a Poisson process, which is independent and identically distributed. In MMPP-2/G/1/K, the arriving process is assumed to be two-state Markov Modulated Poisson Process (MMPP) which is changed from one state to another state with intensity. The service time distribution is general distribution and the service discipline of the server is processor sharing. Also, the total number of packets that can be processed at one time is limited to K. We obtain performance metrics of PC-based software router for residential gateway such as system sojourn time blocking probability and throughput based on the proposed model. Compared to other models, our model is simpler and it is easier to estimate model parameters. Validation results show that the model estimates the performance of the target system.

This paper describes the conversion system which translates wordprocessor file into ODIF(Open Document Interchange Format) data stream for document interchange between heterogeneous systems and applications. We design the translator according to ODA of international base standard, FOD26 of international funtional standard, and a BosukGul V file for source document file. This system is implemented using the Microsoft Windows and the ODAC(ODA Consortium) toolkit in the PC environment.
