It has been repeatedly reported that the quality and quantity of relationships with other people moderate responses to stress and influence health and adjustment. This evidence has stimulated research on the characteristics of social support. In this review, the definition of social support for parents will be discussed. This study also will connect the concept of social support with family theories such as the human ecology theory and the developmental contextualism. The findings from previous studies will be summarized to examine the effects of social support on parenting and to understand the social support within a cultural context.

This study was performed to analyze a path model that investigated the relations among financial statements financial management and financial satisfaction of urban households. For this purpose conceptual framework based on the system theory was suggested. Empirical test's results showed some evidence has been provided that supported that conceptual frame-work. The level of living and gap between the level and standard of living measure were vital in the model investigating financial management and financial satisfaction, There were statistically significant direct effects of them on financial management however there were many indirect effects that mediate through them as well Also The financial management was accepted in the model investigating financial satisfaction. There was statistically significant direct effect on it and indirect effect that mediated through the financial management.

Infantile atopic dermatitis(AD) may be developed by food allergens due to immature intestinal epithelium and its mechanism, which may have no clear-cut evidence, is thought to be IgE mediated immediate and late phase hypersensitivity. It is not easy to diagnose AD caused by food allergens exactly so it is likely to be underestimated more than it be. But we must consider it as a major factor of not only infantile AD but childhood and adult AD. We can see similar theory at previous Oriental medicine. Allergens can be transmitted to a fetus through the placenta and infantile AD is inflammatory condition by food allergens and immature function of intestines. So we must consider those factors at infantile AD treatment. We expect a new model of infantile AD treatment combining the conventional therapy with the diet therapy based on the Oriental medical theory.

This study presents a method of realizing the theoretical results of Demyanov in practice on a computer in order to produce a kind of constructive evidence for his theory and a practical method of getting numerical results for quasi-differentiab1e optimization problems which may arise in industry and science. A practical result for a restricted nondifferentiable optimization problem is experimented with a simle example.

This paper describes some recent developments in our understanding of particle acceleration by shocks. It is pointed out that while good agreement now exists as to steady nonlinear modifications to the shock structure, there is. also growing evidence that the mesoscopic scales may not in fact be steady and that siginficant instabilties associated with magnetic field amplification may be a feature of strong collisionless plasma shocks.

This paper is prepaped, based upon its foundation of the design, first studying the rotor impedance of single and double layer cylindrical induction motor with solid iron rotor, and then inducing torque equation, from it. Classified were some design factors for this design from the result for above and there carried out the evidence of these design and theory after making experimental motors with solid iron rotors and examining torque characteristics.

An improved filter for tracking a maneuvering target is presented. The proposed filter consists of two kalman filters based on different dynamic models and double decision logic. The use of double decision logic for the maneuver onset and ending detection leads to reduction in estimation error. This decision rule is based on evidence theory, Dempster-Shafer theory, which is extended in order to be applicable in the tracking problem. Simulation results show that the proposed filter performs better than IMM at a lower computational load.

This paper deals with interpretation of pronouns in terms of Information Packaging Theory, proposed in Vallduvi(1994) and Engdahl and Vallduvi (1996), which depicts how discourse participants update new information, using three informational components: link, tail and focus. Based on empirical evidence, this paper argues that the information structure of an utterance is not enough for the hearer to process its information in accordance with the speaker's intention. It suggests that the hearer should be able to activate lexical file cards and frame file cards when necessary to designate the proper file card in which the information of the utterance should be recorded. It also proposes that, contrary to Vallduvi's claim, pronouns may create a new file card.
