취원 유아 어머니의 삶의 만족도에 대한 부모 참 역량과 유아교육공동체 인식의 영향: 직업유무별 비교 (The Effects of Authentic Parental Competence and Awareness of the Early Childhood Educational Community on the Life Satisfaction of Mothers With Preschoolers: A Comparison of Employment Status)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of authentic parental competence and awareness of early childhood educational community on the life satisfaction of mothers with preschoolers depending on mothers' employment status. Methods: A total of 238 mothers (98 employed, 130 unemployed) whose children were attending early childhood institutes participated in a survey measuring three variables. Results and Conclusion: The findings of the study were as follows: First, there were positive correlations between authentic parental competence, awareness of early childhood educational community, and life satisfaction, regardless of employment status. Second, comparing employed mothers with unemployed mothers, a common variable affecting life satisfaction was social competence, a sub-variable of authentic parental competence. Further, self-system competence, a sub-factor of authentic parental competence, influenced life satisfaction for employed mothers, and sharing core values, a sub-variable of awareness of the early childhood educational community, influenced life satisfaction for unemployed mothers.

청년층 취업자 및 미취업자 노동시장 이동 연구 (A Study on the Movement of the Young Employed and Unemployed in the Labor Market)

  • 우리나라 청년층에서는 경제활동참가와 실업이 동시에 나타나면서 더욱 심각한 문제를 안고 있어 노동시장이동에 대한 연구는 청년층의 실업을 극복하기 위한 연구라 볼 수 있다. 본 연구는 고용패널 중 청년패널조사 자료를 통해 청년층 취업자와 미취업자의 노동이동이 어떻게 진행되었는지 살펴보고, 취업자와 미취업자의 이동 경로와 이동에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하고자 하였다. 취업자의 경우 전문자격증을 소지하고 있었고, 안정적이지 않은 종사상 지위의 경우 취업 후에도 안정적인 지위 변화를 위해 노동이동 노력하였으며, 정규직이어도 적성과 일치하지 않으면 비정규직을 택하기도 하였으며, 평균임금이 노동이동의 중요한 요인으로 나타났다. 미취업자의 경우 일자리 경험이 없거나, 구직활동기간이 길어질수록, 취업노력을 하지 않을수록 미취업 가능성이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 미취업의 경우개인을 위한 지속적인 노력도 중요하지만 동시에 부모의 학력이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 가정환경이 직·간접적으로 노동시장 이동에 영향을 미치고 있다는 사실은 여전하였다. 한편 학력이 높을수록 안정형이 많은 것으로 나타났으며, 수도권지역에 안정형이 가장 많았다. 이는 정부 및 지방자치단체 및 지역의 산업체, 지역대학의 유기적인 관계를 통한 지역노동시장의 활성화 전략이 지역균형발전과 더불어 어느 때 보다 시급하게 모색되어야 한다.

취업여부에 따른 기혼여성의 둘째자녀 출산의도 (The Intention of Having a Second Child by the Employment Status of Married Women)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 취업여부에 따른 기혼여성의 둘째자녀 출산의도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하는 것이다. 경제학적 관점과 문화가치관 접근을 중심으로 가구소득, 교육수준, 자녀양육비, 가사노동조력, 정책 인지 및 욕구, 정서적 도구적 자녀가치관과 첫 자녀 성별 변수의 영향을 살펴보았다. 한국보건사회연구원에서 수행한 '2005년도 전국 결혼 및 출산동향조사'자료에서 한 자녀만 있는 기혼여성 690명을 추출하여 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 취업여성의 경우 남편의 가사노동시간이 증가할수록, 친정어머니가 생존할 경우, 사회적 지원 욕구도가 높을수록, 정서적 자녀가치관이 높을수록 출산의도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 비취업여성의 경우 자녀 양육비가 낮을수록, 정서적 자녀가치관이 높을수록, 첫 자녀가 딸인 경우 출산의도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구를 통해 취업여성과 비취업여성의 출산의도에 미치는 요인들이 같지 않다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 출산율 제고를 위해서는 취업여성과 비취업여성의 욕구와 현실에 맞는 정책을 마련하는 것이 필요함을 알 수 있다.

  • 신노동당 정부에서 뉴딜이 도입된 이래 5년이라는 시차(time difference)는 뉴딜이 청년실직자, 장기실직자, 편부모, 장애인 등 사회적 배제집단을 노동시장에 편입시키고, 근로연령세대를 위한 소득관련 급여지출의 감소를 가져왔으며, 노동시장에서 근로연령세대의 고용률을 높이는 데 크게 기여하였다는 것을 보여준다. 뉴딜은 일자리우선모델보다는 인적자원개발모델에 보다 근접한 성격을 지니고 있다. 뉴딜은 근로능력이 있는 복지수급자를 일자리로 유인하기 위하여 근로연계복지를 지향하는 국가들에게 다음과 같은 정책학습의 기회를 제공한다. 첫째, 개인에게 책임과 의무를 부여함과 동시에 교육 및 직업훈련을 중심으로 한 적극적 노동시장사업을 통하여 개인의 자발적 참여를 유도할 수 있어야 한다. 둘째, 지역단위에서 복지와 고용을 연결하여 통합관리할 수 있는 분권적 전달체계를 갖추고, 다양한 고용사업을 진행하기 위하여 민간부문, 특히 기업가들과의 협력체계를 조성하기 위하여 노력하여야 한다. 셋째, 근로능력이 있는 복지수급자 개인에 대한 사례관리의 도입이 필요하다. 끝으로, 확고한 정치적 리더십에 의하여 주도되고 뒷받침되어야 한다.

한국 50대 실업자의 구직활동 영향요인에 관한 분석: 회복탄력성을 중심으로 (An Analysis of Effects on Job Seeking Activities of Unemployed in Fifties in Korea: Based on The Resilience)

  • 이 연구는 우리나라의 50대 실업자들을 대상으로 심리적 요인인 회복탄력성이 구직활동에 미치는 영향력을 분석하여 우리 사회의 기반을 지탱하고 있는 50대들의 재취업률을 제고하고, 인생 의미와 가치를 높이는 데 목적이 있다. 수도권의 고용복지플러스센터에 방문해 고용서비스를 이용하는 50대 실업자를 대상으로, 구직활동 영향요인의 분석을 위해 일반적 특성, 회복탄력성, 구직활동 변인으로 구성된 설문을 활용하였다. 회복탄력성 변인은 통제성, 긍정성, 사회성의 하위 변인으로 구성하고 구직활동 변인은 구직준비, 구직태도, 구직의지의 하위 변인으로 구성하였다. 연구결과, 첫째 우리나라의 50대 회복탄력성은 평균이상을 나타내고 있고, 회복탄력성 하위 변인 중에서 긍정성이 가장 높아, 50대들에게 이를 유지시키는 정기적 상담 마련이 요구된다. 둘째, 구직의지 이외에 성별에 따른 회복탄력성과 구직활동에는 유의차가 없어 성차별 없는 50대 대상 구직활동 지원이 요구된다. 셋째, 통제성, 긍정성 등의 회복탄력성이 50대들의 구직활동에 영향을 주고 있고 그 설명력이 35%를 상회하고 있어, 50대들의 회복탄력성을 강화시키고, 이를 구직과 연계하는 취업을 위한 심리 상담과 구직을 위한 취업 교육의 실시를 제안한다.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze a causal effect on the housewife's leisure activity participation, leisure expenditure and leisure life satisfaction. Data was collected 249 housewives in Pusan. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics, one-way Anova, multiple regression, Pearson's correlation and path analysis. The main findings of the research were as follows: First, there were significant differences in leisure activity participation according to socio-demographic and economic variables. Physical type showed significant differences when housewife was 30's and unemployed, size of family was 3 and 4, age of the lastborn child was under 6, occupation of husband was professionals and technicians, educational attainment of housewife was under highschool graduate, pattern of housing was collective, income was higher. There were significant differences that occupation of husband was professionals and technicians, educational attainment of housewife was over junior college graduate, pattern of housing was collective, income was higher in self-developing type. restful type showed significant differences when housewife was 40's, age of the lastborn child was under 13-18, educational attainment of housewife was under highschool graduate. There were significant differences that housewife was unemployed in home-oriented type. There were significant differences that housewife was 30's and unemployed, size of family was 4, age of the lastborn child was under 6, occupation of husband was market and sales worker, educational attainment of housewife was over junior college graduate, pattern of housing was collective in time-spending type. Second, there were significant differences in leisure time, leisure expenditure and leisure life satisfaction according to socio-demographic and economic variables. Leisure time showed significant differences when housewife was unemployed, age of the lastborn child was under 13-18, occupation of husband was service, educational attainment of housewife was under highschool graduate, income was higher. Leisure expenditure showed significant differences when housewife was 30's, size of family was under 3, age of the lastborn child was under 6, occupation of husband was senior officials and manager, educational attainment of housewife was over junior college graduate, pattern of housing was collective, income was over 5,000,000 won. There were significant differences that housewife was unemployed in leisure life satisfaction. Third, casual effect was path analysed according to path model. Employment and unemployment of housewife, income and occupation of husband (product & transport equipment operator) had an effect on phycial type. Age of housewife, employment and unemployment of housewife and occupation of husband (product & transport equipment operator) had an effect on children-concerned type. Age of housewife had an effect on social-concerned type. Education of husband, income, age of lastborn child and occupation of husband (professor and teacher) had an effect on self-developing type. Age of lastborn child, employment and unemployment of housewife and occupation of husband(product & transport equipment operator) had an effect on children-concerned type. Age of lastborn child and children number had an effect on religious-social type. Employment and unemployment of housewife had an effect on home-oriented type. Age of housewife, education of husband had an effect on time-spending type. Restful type, employment and unemployment of housewife, and occupation of husband(service) have an effect on leisure time. Income, leisure time, self-developing type, children concerned type and occupation of husband(senior officials and manager) had an effect on leisure expenditure. Leisure expenditure, self-developing type, employment and nemploymentof housewife, income had an effect on leisure life satisfaction.

자녀교육 및 양육비용의 관련변수에 관한 연구 (The Study of Child Education and Child Care Cost)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences of child care and it's costs between the full time housewives and employed wives' families with preschool children. the results of this study were as follows ; 1) The child care was performed primarily by herselves in the case of full time housewives' families, whereas the child care of employed wife families was done by babysitter or nursing facilities. 2) Most of unemployed wives' families undertook the burden of time cost, whereas the families of employed wives had to pay heavy expenses of money cost f9or the child care arrangements 3) In the estimation of money cost for the child care arrangements income had the highest effect. In contrast with this, in the case of time cost, occupational status of housewives had the highest effect. It was suggested for enhancing the sense of well - being of housewife it is necessary to perceive the value of household production and the social support for child care arrangements in all families, whether unemployed or employed.

자녀양육 스트레스와 사회적 지지가 결혼만족도에 미치는 영향 (The effect of parenting stress and social support on marial satisfaction.)

  • Using questionnaire data from a sample of 144 mothers who have 6-36 months children in Seoul, this study examined the relationship among wife's parenting stress, social support, and wife's marital satisfaction. The main results of this study were summarized as follows; 1. Whereas the level of the employed wife's parenting participation was very low, the level of another person's support was very high. On the other hand, her husband participated less in the parenting than the unemployed wife's husband did. 2. Parenting stress was negatively related to marital satisfaction while the satisfaction of husband's support was positively related to marital satisfaction. 3. The satisfaction of husband's support mediated the relationship between parenting stress and wife's marital satisfaction. That is, wife's satisfaction of husband's support predicted higher marital satisfaction. 4.For both employed and unemployed wife, the most important indicator of marital satisfaction was not parenting stress but her husband's emotional support.

생애주기에 따른 실직경험 및 구직활동에 관한 비교연구 (A Comparative Cohort Study on the Experiences of Job Loss and Job Seeking in Korea)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the job loss and job seeking experiences between middle-aged men and their younger cohort. Participants included 11 middle-aged unemployed men and nine younger unemployed men. The study adopted a phenomenological approach. In-depth individual interviews were carried out and the theme analysis was used to analyze the interview data. The results showed that the two cohorts experienced the macroeconomic crises, the foreign exchange crisis in 1997 and the global financial crisis in 2008, differently. Their experiences affected their attribution of the unemployment and job seeking process. They expressed ambivalence toward their family while dealing with social isolation from extrafamilial support. Most of the participants criticized government employment support policies and services.

주부의 취업유무에 따른 출산태도와 돌봄지원정책 요구도 (A study of attitudes toward childbearing and the need to childcare support policies according to employment status)

  • This study investigated the attitudes toward childbearing and the need for policies supporting childcare according to the mothers' employment status. Data from 6 employed and 6 unemployed housewives with 1 child were collected using in-depth interviews. The main results from the data analysis comprised 4 themes: 1. the ideal and the real about childbearing; 2. changed experiences after bearing the first child; 3. the meaning of parenting; and 4. husband's division of household/caring labor. A difference between employed and unemployed housewives was founded in their attitude toward childbearing. Furthermore, it was verified that the respondents were not satisfied with present policies and services for childbearing and childcare and they required existing policies to be more effective. The implications for related polices are suggested on the basis of these findings.
