Operation Situation of Academic Credit Bank System for Academic Degree of Cosmetology & Academic Research Trends

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the operation situation & academic research trends in Seoul and Gyeonggi area, based on theoretical consideration on academic credit bank system, focusing on academic credit bank system where a lifelong education institute affiliated with a university produces graduates with associate's degree. To find out about how academic credit bank institutes are operated in cosmetology field, the analysis of literature review was used, in reference to the literatures as well as administrative data from the Ministry of Education and institutes for lifelong education with respect to academic credit bank system. Further, dissertations and articles in journals were also reviewed for analysis, in order to see academic research trends with respect to academic credit bank system in cosmetology, and finally to provide the directions for a follow-up study in the future. It was found that about 120 junior colleges have cosmetology departments, while only about 20 4-year universities have them, where lifelong education systems such as lifelong education are essential for learners to have bachelor's degree to go to a graduate school in reality. Every year more people want to learn and acquire the degree through a lifelong education institute affiliated with a university. In this regard, it is thought that there should be first positive social awareness towards a degree recipient from such educations and more administrative promotion and active engagement of government, businesses and schools, in order to vitalize academic credit bank system. Meanwhile, there are only about 10 academic literatures including the dissertations on the operation of academic credit bank system with respect to cosmetology, which is not sufficient number in academic research, compared to the increasing number of people who want to acquire the degree. Most of the preceding studies have been limited to education services and learners' satisfaction level. Therefore, continuous follow-up study is required on how to improve social awareness as well as teachers and instructors' satisfaction level, as well as how to develop industry-customized curriculum, in order to ensure active academic credit bank system.

일부지역 치위생과 학생들의 학사학위 취득을 위한 학점은행제 요구도 조사 (A study on the needs of dental hygiene students in a region for the credit bank system for a bachelor's degree)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the needs of dental hygiene students at a lifelong education center of a three-year-course college for a credit bank system. The subjects in this study were 200 dental hygiene students at a college located in J, which offered courses of a credit bank system. A survey was conducted from May 19 to 23, 2008, to gather data on the acquisition of a bachelor's degree and the credit bank system, and the answer sheets from 184 respondents(92%) were collected. After the collected data were analyzed with SPSS/WIN 12.0 program, the following findings were given: 1. In regard to an intention of taking a bachelor's degree, the largest number of the students investigated(74.5%) intended to do that if they had any chance. As for the reason, 55.6% wanted to get the degree in pursuit of their own personal development. 2. Concerning how to win a bachelor's degree, the largest group that accounted for 63.0% preferred the credit bank systems of college lifelong education centers. 41.8% got interested in the credit bank system mainly because their acquaintances informed them of it. It shows that colleges should reinforce publicity activities if they want to offer the credit bank system. 3. The quality of educational programs and cost had an impact on the choice of an educational institution when they planned to get a bachelor's degree from the credit bank system. Therefore excellent educational programs should be provided, and the government should provide learners with economic help and fund educational institutions. 4. As to comparison of a regular college and the credit bank system as a way to get a bachelor's degree, that was considered to be helpful for finding a job(a mean of 3.39) and for the development of sociability(3.22). That was also deemed to be of use for the improvement of practical job performance, to win public recognition and to be helpful for being well-cultivated, though not many students had those opinions. They took a different view according to academic year(p<.05). 5. Regarding the expected effects of getting a degree from the credit bank system, the greatest group expected it to step up their personal development(3.85). The second largest group expected it to boost job efficacy(3.30), and the students whose academic year was higher had a better opinion. 6. As for future directions for the credit bank system, the largest group put emphasis on the improvement of social perception through intensive P.R. and the enhancement of the qualifications of professors and lecturers(4.02). These opinions were more stressed by the juniors than by the sophomores and seniors, and academic year made a significant difference to their views(p<.05).

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the difference of educational institutions and majors on Learning Participatory Motivation of Lifelong Education Organizations of Universities and Job Technical Colleges that are operating academic degrees on bachelor of fashion and associate of industrial arts in Academic Credit Bank System. The significance of this study is to provide basic information for educational institutions to promote efficient operation and devise a strategy for reinforcing educational competitiveness according to individual Learning Participatory Motivation and purpose of learners. In this study, educational institutions were classified into Lifelong Education Organizations of Universities and Job Technical Colleges operating academic degrees in Academic Credit Bank System. Degrees were divided into bachelor of fashion and associate of industrial arts, and majors were divided into fashion design and fashion business for bachelor of fashion and fashion design and fashion business for associate of industrial arts. Looking at Learning Participatory Motivation of learners, factors selected by learners as considerations for registration and selection of currently affiliated educational institution were found to be 'acquisition of degree at a university' and 'acquisition of degree' for Lifelong Education Organizations of Universities and fashion design major, and 'for employment' and 'acquisition of new knowledge and skill' for Job Technical Colleges and fashion business major.

학점은행제 학사학위과정 안경광학전공 학습자의 특성에 관한 연구 - 경기지역 교육기관을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Students' Characteristics of Ophthalmic Optics under Bachelor's Degree Course in Academic Credit Bank System - Focus on the Educational Institutions in Gyeonggi Region -)

  • 목적: 학점은행제 학사학위과정 안경광학전공 학습자를 대상으로 학습자 특성을 조사하여 안경사 계속교육으로서의 학점은행제 운영과 개선의 기초자료로 활용하고자 하였다. 방법: 학점은행제에 학습자로 등록한 전문학사 98명을 대상으로 학습자 특성에 관한 설문조사를 하고 통계분석을 실시하였다. 결과: 학점은행제 선택 목적은 학사취득(51.0%)이 많았고, 정보경로는 학교 또는 직장선배(33.7%), 학점은행제 교육기관은 모교(31.6%)가 가장 많았다. 학점은행제 학습자에 대한 가족협조(72.4%)가 직장협조(46.9%)나 사회적 협조(39.8%)보다 높았다. 학점은행제 학사학위과정에 소요된 기간은 2학기(55.6%)가 가장 많았고 대학원 진학은 38.9%, 4년제 대학편입은 5.6%이다. 연령에 따라 학점은행제 정보경로(p<.05)와 교육기관 선택기준(p<.05), 직장협조(p<.01)에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 현재 근무처에 따라 학점은행제 선택 목적(p<.01)과 평균 등교일수(p<.05), 직장협조(p<.01), 어려운 점(p<.01)에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 출신 전문대학 학제에 따라 교육기관 선택기준(p<.01)과 가족협조(p<.05)에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 전문대학 졸업 후 학점은행제를 시작한 시기에 따라 정보경로(p<.05)와 교육기관 선택기준(p<.01), 직장협조(p<.05)에 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 결론: 안경사들의 계속교육에 관한 관심과 연구가 필요하며 학습자의 특성을 고려한 학점은행제의 운영과 지원이 필요하다.

학점은행제 교육과정에 있는 간호사의 직무스트레스에 영향을 미치는 관련 요인 (Factors Influencing Job Stress among Nurses Currently under Academic Credit Bank System)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the level of job stress and to determine factors influencing job stress among nurses currently under Academic Credit Bank (ACB) system. Methods: The participants were 153 nurses who has taken courses of ACB system. Data were collected through self-report questionnaires and then analyzed with t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple linear regression with SPSS/WIN 18.0. Results: The score of job stress showed significant differences according to age, marital status, total period of clinical career, and nursing unit. Job stress had significant negative correlation to professional self-concept and organizational commitment. The factors influencing job stress were marital status, professional self-concept, and organizational commitment. Conclusion: The results suggest that various factors should be considered in development and implementation of programs to reduce the job stress of nurses currently under ACB system.

학점은행제를 위한 블록체인 시스템 (Blockchain System for Academic Credit Bank System)

  • 학점은행제는 평생학습사회를 구현하기 위한 교육 시스템이다. 이 시스템의 조건을 충족한 학습자는 전문대, 4년제 대학교의 학위와 동등한 학사 학위를 취득할 수 있다. 이 학습자의 학점과 학위 정보는 중앙 기관에 기록되어 관리되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 시스템은 중앙관리로 인해 해킹 등과 같은 보안 문제가 발생할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 블록체인 기술을 기반으로 학점과 학위 정보를 관리할 수 있는 학점은행제 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 시스템은 학점과 학위 정보는 블록에 저장되고 영구적인 방식으로 공개 원장에 기록된다. 블록들은 해킹과 조작 등의 보안 문제를 개선하기 위해 분산 네트워크 환경에서 블록체인 형식으로 연결되어진다. 또한 중앙 기관의 기능들이 네트워크 참여자들에게 분산되기 때문에 학점 은행 관리의 효율성이 증대될 수 있다. 제안된 시스템의 프로토타입은 Go-Ethereum 플랫폼에서 구현되었으며 스마트 컨트랙트를 사용하여 참여기관 간의 블록체인 정보를 실험적으로 검증하였다.

학점은행제 교양교육과정의 편성에 관한 일고찰 (A Study on the Organization of the Standard Liberal Arts Curriculum in Accordance with the Credit Bank System)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the organization of the standard liberal arts curriculum in accordance with the academic credit bank system (ACBS). With the growth of the system, the standard curriculum of the ACBS turned out to have many problems which have to be solved for securing and maintaining the quality of the system. In an attempt to improve the standard liberal arts curriculum of the ACBS, the study analyzed the problems of standard liberal arts curriculum of the ACBS according to three criteria: the organization of subjects in the six liberal arts curriculum areas, the completion of liberal arts and the exchange subjects between majors and the liberal arts. Based on the results of the analysis, the study suggests ways to improve standard liberal arts curriculum. In the future, research needs to be conducted to explore ways to implement the proposed standard liberal arts curriculum of the ACBS in real contexts.

학점은행제 패션전공 학위과정 교육서비스품질이 학습만족도와 교육기관충성도에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Education Service Quality on Learning Satisfaction and Education Institution Loyalty of Fashion Major Degree Programs in the Academic Credit Bank System)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the difference and influence of educational institutions and majors on education service quality, learning satisfaction, and educational institution loyalty, and to provide information on an Academic Credit Bank System appropriate for the two types of education institutions and learners. Looking at the difference in education service quality, learning satisfaction and educational institution loyalty, Lifelong Education Organizations of Universities showed positive awareness compared to Job Technical colleges. Especially, differences in awareness regarding quality of education facilities were largest, followed by educational institution loyalty and learning satisfaction. Looking at the difference in awareness according to educational institution and majors, learners at Lifelong Education Organizations of Universities had positive awareness compared to Job Technical colleges in terms of quality of facilities, learning satisfaction and educational institution loyalty. No difference was found according to major. Looking at the effect of awareness of education service quality on learning satisfaction and educational institution loyalty, factors of education service quality affected learning satisfaction in the order of education>administration>facilities for Lifelong Education Organizations of Universities, and the effect on educational institution loyalty was found in the order of administration> education with no effect shown by facilities. For learners at Job Technical colleges, factors of education service quality affected learning satisfaction in the order of administration>education>facilities. Influence on loyalty to educational institution was found in the order of administration>facilities>education.

학점은행제 간호학과 재학 간호사의 자기 결정성, 학습몰입이 학습성과에 미치는 영향 (Effects of self-determination and learning commitment on the learning outcome of nurses currently under academic credit bank system)

  • 본 연구는 학점은행제 간호학과에 재학 중인 간호사를 대상으로 자기 결정성, 학습몰입, 학습성과의 정도와 상관관계를 파악하고 학습성과에 영향을 미치는 요인을 알아보기 위해 실시하였다. 자료수집은 B 시 소재 1개 학점은행제 간호학과에 재학 중인 간호사 144명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 이용하였다. 자료수집 기간은 2018년 4월 1일부터 11월 20일까지였다. 자료는 SPSS/WIN 24.0을 이용하여 T-test, ANOVA, 상관관계 분석, 다중회귀 분석을 이용하였다. 대상자의 자기 결정성은 학습몰입, 학습성과와 정적상관관계가 있었고, 학습몰입과 학습성과도 정적상관관계가 있었다. 학습성과에 영향을 미치는 요인은 자기 결정성, 학습몰입이었고 총 설명력은 32.1%였다. 따라서 학점은행제 재학 간호사의 학습 성과를 증진하기 위하여 일반적 특성에 상관없이 자기 결정성, 학습몰입을 향상할 필요가 있다. 그러므로 간호사가 근무하는 기관에서도 간호사의 자기 결정성과 학습몰입을 증진할 방안이 필요하다. 본 연구결과가 학점은행제 재학생의 학습 성과를 향상하는데 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

치과위생사들의 학점은행제에 대한 인식 및 요구 (A Study on the Recognition and Requirement of Dental Hygienists for Academic Credit Bank System)

  • 치과위생사의 학점은행제에 대한 인식도 및 요구를 조사하기 위해 2007년 7월 15일부터 8월 14일까지 서울 경기, 광역시, 강원도, 경상도에 위치한 치과 병 의원에 근무하는 치과위생사 271명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 SPSS 11.5를 이용하여 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 학점은행제에 대한 인식은 70.8%, 인식한 정보매체로는 주위사람들이 52.4%로 가장 높았고, 참여하겠다 인 경우에는 학사학위 취득의 기회가 23.4%이었으며, 참여하지 않겠다 인 경우에는 교육활동에 참가할 시간 부족이 13.3%로 각각 가장 우선적인 선택으로 조사되었다. 2. 학점은행제에 대한 교육비는 3만원 이상~5만원 미만이 49.4%였고, 교육방법은 이론과 실습이 62.4%로 가장 많았고, 이론과 실습의 비율은 50 : 50이 가장 많았으며, 중점적으로 운영해야 할 사항으로는 사회적 인정 증대가 35.4%, 학습자의 요구 반영이 32.5%로 나타났으며, 교육내용은 근무 시 활용 가능한 임상내용이 55.0%로 가장 높게 나타났다. 3. 전공과목의 영역별 중요도는 예방치과처치영역이 3.61, 치과경영영역이 3.38, 구강보건교육영역이 3.09, 진료협조영역이 2.82, 공중구강보건영역이 2.11의 순으로 나타났다. 4. 전공과목의 영역 분야별 중요도는 구강보건교육영역 분야에서는 대상자별 구강보건교육분야가 2.30, 예방치과처치 영역 분야에서는 치태조절 및 치면세마분야가 3.53, 공중 구강보건영역 분야에서는 불소용액양치사업관리분야가 2.86, 치과경영영역 분야에서는 상담분야가 3.24, 진료협조영역 분야에서는 진료보조분야가 1.53으로 각각 가장 우선순위로 나타났다.
