Based on the literature, status and role the music therapist in America was reviewed for this study. The process of developing a music therapy program in America suggests to us many things: In America, music therapists have sustained a mutually beneficial status with their clients for, over fifty years. Excellence in academic education and clinical training enable music therapists to continue to provide quality music therapy. The magnitude of change in to music therapy in the United States, however creates the challenge of providing real access to music therapy continues in the future. Music therapy is the use of music in the accomplishment of therapeutic aims: the restoration, maintenance, and improvement of mental and physical health. Music therapists work with individuals of all ages who require special services due to behavioral. social. learning, or physical disabilities. Employment may be in hospitals, clinics, day care facilities, schools, community mental health centers, substance abuse facilities, nursing homes, hospices, rehabilitation centers, correctional facilities, or private practices. The American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) was founded in 1998 as a result of a union between the American Association for Music Therapy (founded in 1971) and the National Association for Music Therapy(founded in 1950). Music therapists are highly qualified professionals who have completed approved degree programs and had clinical training in order to receive Board Certification(MT-BC), with the designation of Registered, Certified, or Advanced Certified Music Therapist(RMT. CMT - or ACMT). AMTA provides several mechanism for monitoring the quality of music therapy programs: Standards of Practice. a Code of Ethics, a system for Peer Review, a Judical Review Board, and an Ethics Board. According to the results of this study, the suggestions were as follows: 1. It is concluded that music therapy as a nursing intervention can be effective for the clients. 2. It is a great challenge to develope a music therapy program for nursing intervention however, it is also task and responsibility to further the development of nursing.
Purpose - The purpose of this study is to redefine imperial cultural properties and pass on and provide the elegant value of imperial cultural properties with the Allen Collection's promotion to retrieve imperial cultural properties. Design/methodology/approach - This study was approached to deal with the essential interpretation of cultural improvement through discussion in the cultural science approach Findings - As a result of examining ways to revitalize tourism resources using Allen Collection, it is necessary to cultivate international manners and knowledge levels in strengthening imperial awareness through the establishment of imperial museums, enacting laws on standards for designation of imperial cultural assets, and promoting them. In addition, policy needs such as the development plan of the imperial cultural festival, re-establishment, application, reuse, re-establishment, and reproduction according to environmental changes, and technical support and monitoring systems for investigating and preserving imperial cultural assets are needed. Research implications or Originality - The study on the device imperial cultural assets as tour resources the cultural assets mate be not only preserved and inherited to the descendant but also useful in contemporary national emotion positively. for we could obtain wide national support and co-operation in the protection work of cultural assets. What makes our cultural assets leaved indifferent before destruction like this most of all, it is form indifference of the people, we must make an effort to meet with recognizing the value of useful cultural assets by mean of utilizing cultural assets as tour resources to inhibit more damage of destruction of cultural assets.

This study is a part of ???A study of the community noise:new guideline and policy' which have three main topics and ten sub-topics. Accordingly this part deals with a transpotation noise specifying road traffic ,railroad and aircraft noise, respectively. At first, the ,roadside traffic noise of whole country in 2004 ,22 major cities of total 29 was exceeded the envionmetal noise standards, 55dB(A) at night time ,therefore 24 milion people ,52.4% of korean, who reside at roadside estimates to be exposured the basic problems of this serious noise polluation comes from:: i)It's very limited noise mitigation measures against to continuously increase the number of automobile yearly. ii) and at beginning of road design, It has been neglect to introduce the anti-noise design and layout of road structural scheme as gadient,cutting and viaduct,embankment and zonning of roadside land-buffer area and also re-designation of noise sensitive areas,etc. Secondly ,concerned with the railroad trafffic noise, a inhabitants who are over the envionmetal noise limits,70dB(A), 65 dB(A) in day and night for 34 locations of mayor cities was exposured of 167,000 and 329,000 respectively. With the development of noise mitigation schemes in line with this study it is likely that noise monitoring system needs new installation as well as common use of noise assessment index with $L_{MAX}\;and\;L_{EQ}$. Lastly,noise complaints of millitary aircraft has been rapidly increasing ,so 2.9%(1.4 minion) person demands a compansation of \2,133 billion complying with their requirements we suggest to minimise the airport noise that is to develop of noise abatement procedure ,to make new noise index, to increase budget for house insulations and also to more increase of those the noise monitoring system and to unify the management etc.
The purpose of this study is to examine the problems of disaster management resources needed for disaster occurrence, to find ways to improve them, and to utilize them in the future. For this research, theoretical background was established through previous research data on disaster management resources. Disaster management resources prescribed in the Basic Act on Disaster and Safety Management, Classification of Disaster Management Resources and System Use, and Joint Utilization Standards of Disaster Management Resources were analyzed to identify problems and to suggest improvements. As a result of the research, clarity on disaster management resources was secured through literature research and analysis of laws and regulations. By suggesting ways to utilize the manpower and material resources designated by the Emergency Preparedness Resource Management Act in the event of various disasters, it was confirmed that the disaster management resources could be utilized in the right place for various disaster situations.
Currently, South Korea is exposed to various attacks of North Korea such as traditional, nuclear, and ABC weapons. Now it is hard to make an accurate estimate the damage may have been occurred to citizens due to those attacks. It is only possible to assume the rough outline. As a countermeasure to such military threats of North Korea, government-aided evacuation facilities services are going along across the board concerning the object, installation range, budget, and drawing standards. Whereas, in case of public evacuation facilities, there is no special regulation or principle in designation. Since various facilities are regarded as applicable, any protection against military threats can't be anticipated. In this study, military threats provoked by North Korea are figured out, thus the problem of plan and design that public evacuation facilities have are pointed out. This study suggest the result and proposal.

Korea controls the departure of vessels based on the Maritime Safety Act such that only ships with seaworthiness can navigate in bad weather, but scientific evaluation results and quantitative basis for the designation of ships subject to control are insufficient. Opinions for improvement are being raised for a reasonable departure control operation. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the adequacy of the current departure control standards through actual measurement of tugboats, which are the type of vessels subject to control when a wind and wave advisory is effective, and to present quantitative grounds for improvement of controls. A sensor was installed on the tugboat to measure the ship's three-axis motion and hull acceleration, and the hull motion performance was measured by operating in the sea area with a significant wave height of 3 m. The measured values were compared and analyzed based on seaworthiness evaluation factors and limit value standards. The actual ship was excluded from the current control standard according to tonnage, but as a result of the analysis, the pitch value exceeded the operation standard, and a risk to navigation safety existed. The results of this study suggest the need for additional actual measurement studies that can represent various ship types and specifications and review ship departure control targets.
A climbing lane is installed to separate low-speed traffic from high-speed traffic if drastic traffic capacity reduction is expected due to a large number of vehicles that slow down in the upward section. Existing studies on climbing lanes have focused on the designation, location of starting and ending points, and installation method of climbing lane with regard to road design standards. However, in terms of traffic operation, it was known that the climbing lanes cause traffic congestion due to the increase of traffic volumes. In this regard, this study aims to establish traffic operational guidance as to how much effects temporary closure of climbing lanes can have on traffic improvement according to the volume-capacity ratio, grade, and composition of trucks. A test section of simulated climbing lane was selected in Nakdong JC bound for Masan(136.9K~133.3K, 3.6km, 3.7%) on Jungbunaeryuk expressway to conduct VISSIM analyses, microscopic traffic simulation based on such control variables as traffic volume(v/c), grade and the trucks ratio. As a result of the analyses, it has been found that v/c and the ratio of trucks are the key variables for efficient traffic management of climbing lanes in order to relieve traffic congestion via climbing lane. If ratio of trucks are more than 50% and when v/c would be 0.8, both climbing lane would be closed and non-operated regardless of grade and ratio of trucks when v/c is 1.0. With the increased traffic due to a five-day work week system, continued peak hours during the weekday, increased and various patterns of congestion on expressway, this study would be expected to contribute to facilitating researches on flexible operational standards for road facilities.

The objectives of this paper are to overview present status of soil pollution in Korea, to review the current policies and management strategies for soil pollution prevention and remediation of contaminated sites, and to suggest some recommendations to be considered toward more efficient policies. Soils in Korea are contaminated mainly by industrial facilities, landfills, underground storage tanks, abandoned/inactive mines, military camps, and other sources. Concentrations of most of soil pollutants were similar to the background levels, except for a few heavily contaminated sites such as industrial sites or abandoned/inactive mines. The Soil Environment Conservation Act (SECA), which was effective from 1995, provides a comprehensive legal framework for both preventing soil pollution and remedying contaminated sites in Korea. The Act includes various management policies such as the designation of standards and soil pollution policy area, soil monitoring networks, management of suspected contamination sources, and extended 'polluter-pays' principle. To make current policies more efficient and reasonable, some policies or strategies such as the establishment of national priority list, more detailed standards, risk-based cleanup goal, fund raise, soil erosion problem, and finally, integrity between soil and groundwater management frameworks may need to be pursued in the long term.
Since June 2006, there have been active efforts to systematize the permission system including the amendment of [Cultural Heritage Protection Act]. Cultural Heritage Administration prepared standards on reviewing each type of cultural heritages(CH) in 2015, promoted a project on the modification of permission standards and showed remarkable performances in quantitative aspects. But as there has been little change for the cases applied for permission, additional studies on policy are required to improve the management efficiency and reduce the citizens'inconvenience. In response, this study aims to identify the actual management status on the current state alteration permission system, and establish practically utilizable reference materials at permission review. While historic sites(HS) constitute a relatively small proportion in state-designated CHs, they are subject to the designation of permission standards. Also, with their location in the downtown area, the application rate is high (51.4%) and the results are commonly utilizable to other types of CH. We constructed a DB based on the minutes of Cultural Heritage Committee(CHC) on HS and categorized similar features in permission handling results. The result of the analysis is as follows. Out of a total of 5,243 cases for permission applied for HS, 1,734 cases of cultural heritage areas(CHA) and 3,509 cases of historic and cultural environment preservation areas(HCEPA) have been applied. CHA has a great proportion of the applications for events and festivals, which are highly related to CHs or representing the local area. There is a high permission rate on applications for the purpose of public service by local governments. Meanwhile, HCEPA has a high proportion of applying for the installation and extension of buildings and facilities at the private level. Thus, negative decisions were made for tall buildings, massed facilities, or suspected scattering of similar acts. Our actual condition analysis has identified a total of 78 types of harmful acts which may influence the preservation of CHs. 31 types in CHA and 37 types in HCEPA are categorized. Especially, 10 common types of permission have been confirmed in both sectors. As a result, it is expected to secure consistency in the permission administration, enhance the management efficiency and improve the public's satisfaction over the regulatory administration by providing practically utilizable reference materials for altering the current state of CH and for decision making on the part of CHC.

This study aims to distinguish what can be used in consideration of the national situation with Korea for Chinese Scenic and Historic Interest Areas, and the results are as follows; First, the Chinese Scenic and Historic Interest Areas expanded to the existing scenic cruise culture, travel, and tourism culture in the process of the influx of Western culture in the modern and contemporary era, and became popular as a travel destination. Accordingly, the Chinese government developed the tourism industry around the scenic sites, and thanks to the development of transportation and communication, the Scenic and Historic Interest Areas has become an important national heritage. This influenced the establishment of the system related to Scenic and Historic Interest Areas, and today, it is operated around the Scenic and Historic Interest Areas ordinance. Second, the designation of the Scenic and Historic Interest Areas is divided into the size of the site according to the area, and the process of selecting the Scenic and Historic Interest Areas classification, rating evaluation, and comprehensive value evaluation according to evaluation indicators and rating standards is carried out. Accordingly, according to the results of the classification, it is subdivided from the national level to the Scenic and Historic Interest Areas at the local level. Third, the central government is in charge of managing and supervising Scenic and Historic Interest Areas across the country, and the local government's construction department is in charge of supervising Scenic and Historic Interest Areas in the region. The management organization of Scenic and Historic Interest Areas established by local governments above the county level has a system that actually protects, utilizes, and manages Scenic and Historic Interest Areas. In addition, 14 detailed indicators are used to monitor Scenic and Historic Interest Areas. Based on these results, considering the application of the domestic scenic site policy, the method of developing the policy that has established the system from the perspective of the utilization of the people is worth considering. On the other hand, the evaluation of the designation and management system through the setting of various indicators has limitations in that it is difficult to secure objectivity in impressing or evaluating the landscape. Therefore, rather than blindly introducing quantified evaluation, it seems that guidance and promotion on how to expand consensus on scenic values and enjoy heritage should be prioritized.
