Batteries as an emergency power of stationary standby service are required to provide a reliable source of DC power needed to aid in safe AC power failure. It is important that the properly action in early stage as soon as possible, when the battery's deterioration is detected. This paper describes a practical diagnostic technique to monitor the state-of-health of lead acid batteries in telecommunications power system.

This paper presents design methodologies for 5G architecture ensuring lower latency than 4G/LTE. Among various types of 5G use cases discussed in standardization bodies, we believe mobile broadband, massive IoT(Internet of Things) and mission-critical IoT will be the main 5G use cases. In particular, a mission-critical IoT service such as remote controlled machines and connected cars is regarded as one of the most distinguished use cases, and it is indispensable for underlying networks to support sufficiently low latency to support them. We identify three main strategic directions for end-to-end network latency reduction, namely new radio access technologies, distributed/flat network architecture, and intelligent end-to-end network orchestration.

현재 영어 기반의 기술 팩트체크 서비스는 다양하지만 한국 기반 팩트체크 서비스는 비기술적(언론인 등 전문가의 교차 검증을 통한 팩트체크)이 주를 이루고 있으며, 기술 팩트체크 서비스가 많이 시행되지 않고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기술적인 요소와 비기술적인 요소의 서비스를 함께 사용할 때 허위 정보를 가장 정확하게 식별할 수 있기 때문에 한국어 기반의 자연어 처리 기술을 이용한 팩트체킹 서비스를 제안한다.

Upon the basis at the end of March 2005, we have the 38.91 million cellular phone subscribers over the country and the total diffusion rate of the cellular phone is reached up to 76.1%. At this moment, it can be said the most people use it since the demand is still going on. Turning to the operation company, this is serviced by the SK Telecom, LG Telecom, and KTF, and there are at least 7 manufactures producing it including Samsung, LG, KTF ever, Motorola, SKY, Pantac and Curitel, Most users periodically change the service vendor to the others for buying new model or changing the service vendor. It is understood the customer's action occurred by the differences of the brand cognition. In this study, along with some parameters including the difference of the vendor's brand cognition, difference of satisfaction (mobile telecommunication, product), and the possibility to buy the product again, I am going to find out the relationship between the satisfaction of the provider's service

There are three main kinds of service standards for 3G(Third-Generation) wireless communication as WCDMA, CDMA2000 and TD-SCDMA(Time Division-Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access). Compare with WCDMA and CDMA2000, TD-SCDMA system has distinguished technical characters. It is a TDD(Time Division Duplexing) based technology and deploys several advanced but in some respects complex technologies such as smart antenna, joint-detection and baton-handoff, etc. Therefore to analyze and design TD-SCDMA wireless network, it needs more efficient and systematic simulation tool. General simulation tool has so many analysis functions including path loss prediction, capacity and coverage analysis. For more suitable for TD-SCDMA, new additional technologies have to be implemented in simulation tool. Especially as the wireless network highly advancing focused on data service, it more needs to research and develop on the reliability of the simulation tool. In this paper, to give the concrete process and skill about how to implement TD-SCDMA simulation tool, we define the kinds of simulation tool and list basic analysis functions available for TD-SCDMA network design at first. And then we explain how to consider the effects of new technologies of TD-SCDMA and give the solutions about theses considerations.

현재 인터넷은 수요의 증가와 함께 사용되는 컨텐츠의 종류도 다양해지고 있다. 이런 다양한 컨텐츠의 트래픽들은 보다 좋은 질을 제공하기 위해 데이터양이 커지고 있으며, 성격이 상이한 부분이 많이 발생하고 있다. 하지만 현재의 인터넷은 BE(Best-Effort)서비스만을 제공하기 때문에, IP layer에서는 이러한 트래픽을 관리하고 QoS를 제공하기 위한 IntServ (Integrated Service)와 DiffServ (Differentiated Service)와 같은 기술들에 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 또한 무선인터넷의 증가와 함께 기존의 중요시 되지 못했던 MAC (Medium Access Control)의 중요성이 증가되고 있는데, 무선접속이라든지 자원할당에 있어 기존의 다른 계층에서 하던 상당수의 스케쥴링이 MAC Layer에서 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 QoS를 제공하는 IEEE 802.11e EDCF 기반의 Mobile IPv6 망에서 트래픽의 특성에 맞는 QoS를 제공할 수 있는 알고리즘을 제안하고 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증한다.

There are various analysis functions(including prediction of path loss, analyzing of capacity and coverage, etc.) of simulation tool to design and optimize the mobile communication network. Its reliability absolutely effects the performance of mobile communication network. Especially as the wireless network highly advancing focused on data service, it more needs to research and develop on the standard establishment of reliability of the simulation tool. Also it is important the systematic research how to improve the reliability of simulation tool. In this paper, to give the concrete process and skill about how to improve reliability, we define the kinds of reliability at first. And then we explain the comparison results between real field measurement data and theoretic simulation data.

In this paper, we investigated economic viability of UCA (Ubiquitous Contents Access) technologies from user adoption perspective. UCA technologies are expected to 9et embedded into media and telecom merging services. Embracing new technologies such as UCA technologies, forged through an industry convergence, means opting for a technological innovation that will have technological as well as economic and strategic implications. As such, we adopted user perspective innovation adoption theories to explore key antecedents affecting consumer acceptance of these emerging technologies. Subsequently. using QFD (Quality Function Deployment) method, the impacts of UCA technical functions on user's perceived value enhancements are estimated. The QFD analysis result indicates that the new UCA service technologies could achieve about 42% enhancement on user perceived adoption intention compared to existing digital contents service technologies. The proposed analysis framework and findings suggests significant insights for further research.
