In this study, we will develop and implement the teaching program of 'Function', on the subject of "Poster-Making utilizing the Graph Art" in the Math Camp for middle-school students. And we will examine the didactical significance through student's activities and products. The teaching program of 'Function' utilizing the Graph Art can be promoted self-directly the understanding of 'Function' concept and the ability for handling 'Function'. In the process of drawing up the graph art, in particular, this program help students to promote the ability for problem-solving and mathematical thinking, and to communicate mathematically and attain the his own level. Ultimately, this program have a positive influence upon cognitive and affective and areas with regard to mathematics.

Purpose: At the moment prevention and treatment of animal related diseases is becoming a social concern as the demand for animal increases. Furthermore, The design of the veterinary medical teaching hospital are even more complex because they have to accommodate medical program for animal and education and research program for students. However, there are a few experience and useful guidelines for the planning of the veterinary medical teaching hospital. So it is not easy for the regional hub universities to work out the proper plan for the construction of the veterinary medical teaching hospital for their own. This study has been started in order to provide basic informations for the planning of Korean veterinary medical teaching hospital. Methods: Interview to veterinarian, intern and employee of the veterinary medical teaching hospital and Field surveys to veterinary medical teaching hospital in Korea have been conducted for the data collection. The drawings of three universities of veterinary medical teaching hospital have been analysed and diagramed. Results: The result of this study can be summarized into three points. The first one is that the veterinary medical teaching hospital spaces are divided into five areas (ambulatory care, central medical care, hospitalization, education and research, operations and support) and each area is divided independently and connected properly. The second one is that the veterinary medical teaching hospital differs from hospital in the detailed space plan in the sense that the animal is a patient. The third one is that each hospital has different operating practices and programs according to local conditions Implications: It is meaningful as a basic source of veterinary medical teaching hospital design in the future.

The purpose of this study is to investigate what English teachers think about what and how to teach culture, as a way of helping students build relevant background knowledge and enhance their motivation in learning English. A total of 300 teachers completed a self-report questionnaire in four areas: (i) their understanding and liking of English-spoken countries, (ii) their use of materials and tools for teaching culture, (iii) their consciousness of teaching culture, and (iv) their needs for culture learning in the teacher-training program. The results show that (i) they think American culture is dominant in EFL but they are much interested in British culture; (ii) they rely on internet most for their cultural experience while they think students get much of the cultural information from textbooks; (iii) they are very much conscious of the importance of teaching culture for improving students' English proficiency; (iv) they want to learn in the teacher training program more about cultural practice, which can be subsumed under the so called 'small c'. The findings suggest that (i) textbooks need to include contents to promote students' cultural awareness and foster intercultural competence, (ii) teachers should use authentic materials with appropriate adaptation, and (iii) a teacher training program should cover a wide range of contents and skills for teaching culture.

The Halliwick concept was developed by James McMillan over 50 years ago, and began as a method for teaching swimming to children with physical disables. After that the Halliwcik concept was developed as a specific strategy(called the Ten-Point Program) for teaching swimming to children with disabilities. Soon after the changes in the physical and emotional behavior were attributed to a unique teaching/learning philosophy and a psycho-sensory-motor learning program that is enhanced by hydrodynamics. Recognizing the therapeutic effects of the Ten-Pont Program adapted the program as a therapeutic intervention called Water Specific Therapy or the Logic Approach to Therapy in Water.

Die-casting burr to casting process is removed by post-process for assembly and quality control of product. Though robot has been widely used for deburring job before. CNC exclusive machine is currently developed for high power, high speed machining and quick tool change. Deburring tool path with complex 3D curve type is defined to make out deburring NC program. But there is no efficient method to define it currently used methods with teaching probe on machine. In this study the efficient method to make out deburring NC program is developed. 5-axis digitizing machine is used to receive data of deburring path. And the post process for NC program generation is developed in consideration of the machining conditions. The developed system is not dependent on the skill of operator and has the advantage to maintain the flexibility of job to modify NC program due to the wear of tool and aging of the die casting.

The purpose of this study is to find oui the effects of teaching mathematical concepts by designing and applying teaching and learning programs that takes into consideration the students' strong intelligence, through the teaching and learning strategies based on the multiple intelligences theory. For this study, developmental and experimental research was conducted. In the developmental research part of the study, teaching and learning programs for teaching the concept of multiplication were designed and the activities based on the multiple intelligences were chosen. On the other hand, in the experimental research part, the data acquired from the application of nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design in the actual classes was processed and analyzed. The results above indicate that the teaching and learning program based on the multiple intelligences theory improved the students' overall understanding of mathematical concepts by providing various types of activities. In addition, this program helped students to increase their confidence and generate a positive attitude towards learning math.

본 연구에서는 예비화학교사들이 모델의 이그노런스 교육을 교육실습에 적용할 수 있도록 교수프로그램을 제공하여 교육적 효과를 알아보았다. 교수프로그램의 구성은 Odden & Russ의 연구에서 제안한 센스메이킹 개념과 Asli 등이 제안한 교사의 센스메이킹 단계를 고려하여 구성하였다. 연구 대상은 우리나라 중부 지역에 있는 교사 양성 대학의 화학교육과 4학년 예비교사 23명이었다. 교수프로그램은 모델의 이그노런스 교육에 대한 센스메이킹 형성을 위하여, 초기 생각 도출 단계, 불일치 상황에서 모델의 이그노런스 인식 단계, 모델의 이그노런스 교육을 위한 수업 전략 구성 단계, 그리고 교육실습을 통한 수업 실행 계획 및 실천 단계 등 4단계로 구성하였다. 이 프로그램의 첫 단계를 통해 산·염기 반응의 아레니우스 모델과 브뢴스테드-로리 모델, 산화·환원 반응의 전자 이동 모델에 대한 예비교사들의 초기 아이디어를 알아보았다. 두 번째 단계를 통해 모델의 지식으로 설명할 수 없는 불일치 상황을 제시하여 모델의 이그노런스를 인식하도록 하였다. 세 번째 단계로 교과서 분석과 수업 전략 구성 활동을 통해 모델의 이그노런스 교수 역량을 기르는 활동을 하였다. 마지막 단계로 교육실습 동안 예비교사들에게 모델의 이그노런스 교육 실행을 계획하고 실천해 보도록 하였다. 이러한 모델의 이그노런스 교육에 대한 센스메이킹 형성 교수프로그램을 통해 예비교사들은 모델의 이그노런스를 인식하게 되었으며, 모델 이그노런스를 반영한 수업 전략 구성 및 실천 역량을 획득하고, 모델의 이그노런스를 가르치는 것의 교육적 가치와 필요성에 대하여 인식하게 되었다.

The purpose of this study was to develop an educational program designed to allow students to experience 'up-cycling' first-hand during class and understand its significance by helping them improving their practical problem-solving abilities. Teachers of home economics, Korean, and social studies to third grade middle schooler were asked to analyze the curriculums of their subjects. The analysis results were then used to identify common elements among the units, reconstruct the curriculums, and develop an integrated lesson program to offer integrated activities. Based on these, a lesson program was developed to make an eco-bag and running shoes under the theme of 'up-cycling' in the unit of 'environmentally-friendly clothing and mending of clothes' in the home economics subject. The results were as follows: First, a topical fusion lesson program was developed to integrate three subjects together. The development process involved the integration of the topic of up-cycling, a program model for integrated lessons, and a teaching and learning process plan for topical integrated education. Secondly, a lesson program for home economics was developed that was applicable to actual home economics lessons based on the topical integrated lesson program. The lesson domains were divided into large, medium, and small to create a ten-lesson teaching and learning process plan needed for the lessons, teaching materials that could be put to actual uses in lessons, and activity and evaluation logs for learners.

이 연구에서는 로봇 연관 STEAM 교수학습 프로그램을 조사 분석하고, 초 중등학교를 위한 로봇 STEAM 교수학습 프로그램 내용을 제안하였다. 프로그램을 분석한 결과, 예술과 인문사회 분야의 내용이 가장 많은 것으로 조사되었고, 과학, 기술, 수학의 순서로 포함되어 있었다. 학교급별 STEAM 교수학습 프로그램 내용 융통합이 유사한 패턴이 나타났다. 중학교의 프로그램은 STEAM 교육에서 추구하는 상황 제시, 창의적 설계, 감성적 체험, 평가, 진로 등의 요소들을 균등한 비율로 포함하고, 초등학교와 고등학교의 프로그램은 진로와의 연계 내용이 적게 포함되어 있는 것으로 나타났다. STEAM 교육의 지향과 활동요소를 총체적으로 고려한 로봇 STEAM 교수학습 프로그램의 학교급별 내용을 제안하였다.
