The purpose of this study is to present the overall landscape of Comparative Education study in teacher training program at universities in Korea. The Comparative Education in Korea is relatively young without a lengthy tail on its name and still on the way of upgrading itself, however various efforts are gathering for the development of Comparative Education. With this understanding, this paper diagnoses the current status of Comparative Education in Korea by analyzing 1) the number of institutions which provide Comparative Education lectures for their teacher training program, 2) aims of Comparative Education teaching, 3) curricular and course titles, 4) teaching methods and textbooks, and 5) current issues and problems currently laid on Comparative Education in Korea designated by actual lecturers and professors who are in charge of Comparative Education lectures. The historical development of Comparative Education in Korea will be briefly presented at the beginning part of the chapter. To gauge the comparative position of Korean Comparative Education, the second half of this paper introduces the cases of Comparative Education at universities worldwide, presenting various countries' status of Comparative Education along with their developmental status. As the first research which pays an attention on the current figure of Comparative Education in Korea, it will form an impetus on why we should teach college students about comparative education and on what next step should be carried for further development of Comparative Education at universities based on the comparative understanding of other countries. Since it is in the transitional stage in terms of its development, it would be critical to have a self-analysis of the current status, which will help to lay the comprehensive understanding background for designating the future direction of its development.
The purpose of this study is to examine teachers' stages of concern and levels of use about SW education based on Concerns-Based Adoption Model and to provide implications for teacher education. For this purpose, 152 survey responses were collected from elementary school teachers in South Korea. The result indicated that elementary school teachers' concerns about SW education showed the nonuser pattern in that teachers score highest in stage 0(awareness) to stage 2(personal) and in stage 6(refocusing). Additionally, teachers who are currently implementing SW education showed a tendency to be in the level of mechanical use or routine, and more than half of the teachers who are not implementing SW education showed no motivation to change current practices. There were statistically significant differences in the stages of concern depending on gender, teaching experience, SW training experience, SW teaching experience, and there were differences in the levels of use depending on the teachers' grade level in charge, SW training experience, and SW teaching experience. Based on the results of the research, various SW related programs as well as successful SW education experience for teachers need to be provided for teacher education in order to promote SW education.
The vocational competency development training teacher must complete the training course for the training of vocational competency development training instructor and get the qualification of the vocational competency development training teacher from the Ministry of Employment & Labor with the criteria set by the Presidential Decree. Therefore, it can be said that H_university 's educational performance, which is the only vocational competency development training teacher in Korea and that plays a role of mass production in the labor market, has a great influence on vocational competency development training. The purpose of this study is to identify the problems through the analysis of actual condition of vocational competency development training education based on CIPP model, Furthermore, it was aimed to suggest improvement plan of qualification training education. In order to accomplish the purpose of the research, the present situation of the training course for the vocational competency development training teacher training students was grasped. And We conducted a survey to draw out the improvement plan and utilized the results of 173 copies. We conducted interviews by selecting eight subjects for in-depth analysis and Understand the details of the results of the surveys conducted. As a result of the study, positive responses were obtained from the educational objectives and educational resources in the context factors. On the other hand, there were negative opinions about the curriculum reflecting the learner and social needs. In the input factors, positive opinions were derived from the educational objectives and training requirements. However, there were many negative opinions about the achievement of the learner's educational goals. In addition, there were many negative opinions of online contents education. In the process factors, positive evaluation was high in class related part, learner attendance management, and institutional support. However, negative opinions were drawn on the comprehensive evaluation of qualification training period, and the learner's burden due to lack of learning period appeared to be the main reason. In the factor of calculation, Positive opinions were derived from the applicability of the business curriculum for training courses for training teachers who are in charge of education and training in industry occupations. However, there were negative opinions such as learning time, concentration of learning, and communication of instructors. Based on the results of the study, suggestions for improving the operation of vocational competency training teacher qualification training are as follows. First, it is necessary to flexibly manage the training schedule for the weekly training course for vocational competency development training teachers. Second, it is necessary to seek to improve the online education curriculum centered on consumers. Third, it is necessary to seek access to qualification training for local residents. Fourth, pre - education support for qualified applicants is required. Finally, follow-up care of qualified trainees is necessary.
This study noted that a survey of teachers in a leading study conducted in Korea during the Pandemics period pointed out that the "real-time interactive" classes account for a significantly small portion of the remote class format. Contentually, the study reported cases of developing and applying "real-time interactive" class materials based on "planar decision requirements" of high school mathematics subject geometry. The teacher who participated in the development was a math teacher who worked at a Seoul-based high school with 28 years of high school teaching experience, and a teacher who was in charge of geometry in the math department in 2020. The development teacher decided to develop real-time interactive classes. In particular, the materials were developed by organizing the class guidance plan in four stages: 'Meeting and Class Guidance', 'Giving motivation', 'Suggesting tasks', 'Individual Investigative Activities and Teacher Feedback' and 'Reflection and Evaluation' which were selected through the process of selecting the class contents and selecting online class tools. At this time, the development teacher produced and presented about five minutes of video material using the videooscribe, a whiteboard animation program. And in case of task number 8, it consisted of recording the students' free thoughts after class, which served as a role of assessment by students themselves and providing feedback to their teachers. This study is a case study that introduces a series of courses in which field teachers develop class materials, and in addition to presenting class materials that can be applied directly to classes, is a result of a study that focuses on the role of presenting samples for future class data development. The materials developed were verified as class materials based on the opinions of the students who participated in the class and the results of the evaluation commissioned by the three math teachers.

The objective of this study was to examine multicultural family children's adjustment process to kindergarten and differences in their adjustment among time points. For these purpose, we conducted interviews and a questionnaire survey with teachers in charge of 3-5-year-old young children from multicultural families at public and private kindergartens in Gwangju, Jeollanamdo and Daejeon. According to the results of this study, multicultural family children adjusted themselves to kindergarten through four weeks' daily life in the kindergarten. In daily work adjustment, they showed some difficulty in Week 2 but their adjustment improved rapidly in Week 3 and Week 4. Self adjustment and peer adjustment also improved notably in Week 3 and Week 4. In pro-social adjustment, the children showed difficulty in Week 2, improvement in Week 3, and again difficulty in Week 4. These results suggest that, by responding to the teacher's sensitivity and intimacy, young children in multicultural families have a pattern of adjustment similar to that of young children in Korea families.
Although this research puts the emphasis on the importance of the personality education, and lacks the understanding of the early childhood educator about the personality education, and essentially the content analysis of the direction of the operation of the personality education hasn't been performed. Therefore through the research study once again we collected the opinion of the early childhood educator about the personality education. As the object of the investigation, we questioned 208 teachers who work in the Daycare Center in the S city, and applied the SPSS 18.0 program. The result is as the following. First, there was a lot of concern in the understanding of the early childhood educator about the personality education, and that it was in need. The reason for emphasizing the personality education appears to be the "Individual Egoism", and the "Parental Value" as the factor of influence, and "Whole People Human Development and Health Promotion" as a factor of helping, and "Courage" as the inner information of the information of the personality education, and "Manner" as the outer information. Secondly, more than the majority was carrying out the personality education in the real state of the early childhood educator on the personality education and it happens to be that the instructional material is the "Material related to the personality education", "Conversation" as the teaching learning method, "Once per week" as number of times, "Within 30 minutes" as lead time, "Teacher in Charge" as the host, and "Uncooperative parents" as the difficulty. Lastly the accurate time of demanding the early childhood educator about the personality education happens to be from "Infancy", and the teaching method is "Teaching by making a connection with the family", and that "Leading by example of the teacher" is the factor of consideration.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the state of science teaching anxiety of elementary teachers for the scientifically gifted according to their personal variables such as gender, career in education and gifted education, training course for gifted education, participation in meeting related to gifted education. The subjects in this study were 64 elementary school teachers who were in charge of science gifted education. The instrument to assess their science teaching anxiety was Westerback's S-STAI, modified in this study to be suitable for science gifted education. The collected data were analyzed by the statistical package SPSS. The findings of the study were as follows: The teachers for gifted felt more teaching anxiety in gifted classes than in normal classes on the whole. There were statistically significant differences in their personal variables such as gender, career in education experience, experience of taking gifted education training courses, and participation in meeting related to gifted education. Implications related to reduce the gifted education teachers' teaching anxiety were discussed in depth.

Many studies have discussed the effectiveness of mentoring from a mentor or mentee perspective. However, it is is necessary to deeply understand the formal mentoring relationship from the perspective of both the mentor and the mentee because the mentoring relationship is the interaction between the mentor and the mentee. Therefore, in this study, the mentors' role through IPA was compared and analyzed from the perspective of mentors and mentees. A survey was conducted on 376 employees of the financial bank, and the managers in charge of the company's official workplace mentoring and employees who participated in the mentoring program were interviewed. As a result of the analysis, mentors are more satisfied with the rewarding experience, while mentees are satisfied with commitment, and organizational ascendency and impact. In addition, mentees judge that "Coach", "Provides support", "Provides vision & widens horizons", "Broaden experience", "Cooperation", "Motivates", "Networking ability", "Provide cross-functional information", "Role model", "Share credit", "Teacher", and "Transfer skills, leadership, & technology" are important as mentor's roles are important. Therefore, in order to foster mentors for effective workplace mentoring, it is necessary to educate the mentor in advance about the mentors' role that the mentee considers to be important.
In this study, data was collected on the dietary life education at elementary schools according to the Food Education Support Act using elementary school teachers as subjects. A survey was conducted on 258 elementary school teachers at seven elementary schools located in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Daegu, Korea from April 14-17, 2010. Most teachers reported that dietary life education was very much needed. The appropriate individuals to teach dietary life education were nutrition teachers, charge teachers, and dietary life education tutors, in that order. The most appropriate time to conduct dietary life education was during dietary life-related subject hours, dietary life education hours, food service hours, and discretionary and extracurricular activities, in that order. The most effective materials and methods used for dietary life education were projection materials and dietary life-related special lectures. Efficient dietary life education methods can be used to develop dietary life education programs. Based on these results, elementary school teachers recognize that dietary life education is very much needed and believe that it would be desirable to conduct dietary life education using nutrition teachers in cooperation with other related teachers.
