Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the prospective child care teachers' discourse on the professionalism of music classes infants and children. For this purpose, in-depth interviews were conducted targeting second-year students in the department of child care and welfare at the H university in S city. Methods: The results were analyzed according to the methods of Bogdan and Biklen (2006). Results: The results of interviews showed, the prospective child care teachers felt that it was too soon to talk about their professionalism and teachers' professionalism needed further education and experience in the field. Additionally, regarding the professional music classes, the prospective child care teachers were suggested to require the knowledge of infants' individual development, difference and interest. Secondly, to be able to comply with the national curriculum and build an integrated education plan based on the themes that of infants and children' interests. Thirdly, to be familiar with the teaching methods guiding what to teach and how to teach. And in order to possess such expertise, the discourse suggested that the teachers should enjoy music themselves, learn musical instruments to develop their musical abilities, and have a variety of artistic experiences. In spite of their efforts, if they do not meet the needs, they should overcome by co-operating with their colleagues rather than giving up the music classes. Conclusion/Implications: This study presents the practical direction of music education for the prospective child care teachers.

The new paradigm of the 21st Century science education explores a wide range of possibilities that can foster students' interest toward science and creative convergence thinking. In this study, through the analysis of programs that were developed in 'STEAM leader school' and 'STEAM teacher association for research' supported by the 'Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology,' we analyzed the linking frequency with each of STEAM education's fields and teachers' perception for the convergence strategy of technology and engineering. The results of this study show that linking frequency of technology and engineering is lower than the field of arts and mathematics in elementary school, but higher in middle and high school. 'Introduction technology contents in lives' in technology and 'crafts activity' in engineering are the most used teaching and learning strategy in STEAM education. But, although 'crafts activity' is engineering's major way of learning, many teachers understand and use it as a technological teaching learning strategy. It is important to understand that each of STEAM education's field has a unique nature and educational implications, for the effective settlement of STEAM education, we need to consider teaching and learning strategy in various way.
To understand the research trends of English education in Korea for the last 20 years from 2000 to 2019, 12 major academic journals in Korea in the field of English education were selected, and bibliographic information of 7,329 articles published in these journals were collected and analyzed. The total number of articles increased from the 2000s to the first half of the 2010s, but decreased somewhat in the late 2010s and the number of publications by journal has become similar. These results show that the overall influence of English education journals has decreased and then leveled in terms of quantity. Next, 34 topics were extracted by applying latent Dirichlet allocation (LDA) topic modeling using the English abstract of the articles. Teacher, word, culture/media, and grammar appeared as topics that were highly studied. Topics such as word, vocabulary, and testing and evaluation appeared through unique keywords, and various topics related to learner factors emerged, becoming topics of interest in English education research. Then, topics were analyzed to determine which ones were rising or falling in frequency. As a result of this analysis, qualitative research, vocabulary, learner factor, and testing were found to be rising topics, while falling topics included CALL, language, teaching, and grammar. This change in research topics shows that research interests in the field of English education are shifting from static research topics to data-driven and dynamic research topics.

This study was conducted for 4 weeks on the preparation of the science teaching/learning course plan for 109 students in 4 classes of the 2nd year intensive course at B University of Education. Pre-service elementary teachers attended a two-week field training practice after listening to a lecture on how to write a science teaching and learning course plan. Pre-service elementary teachers tried to find out about the selection of materials and the degree of connection between the course plan and the class to prepare the science teaching/learning course plan. The researcher completed the questionnaire by reviewing and deliberation on the questionnaire questions together with 4 pre-service elementary teachers. The questionnaire related to the writing of the science teaching and learning course plan consists of 8 questions. Preferred reference materials when writing the course plan, the level of interest in learning, the success or failure of the science course plan and class, the science preferred model, the evaluation method in unit time, and the science teaching and learning One's own efforts to write the course plan, the contents of this course are the science faculty. It is composed of the preparation of the learning process plan and how helpful it is to the class. The results of this study are as follows. First, it was found that elementary school pre-service elementary teachers preferred teacher guidance the most when drafting science teaching and learning curriculum plans. Second, it is recognized that the development stage is very important in the teaching and learning stage of the science department. Third, Pre-service elementary teachers believe that the science and teaching and learning process plan has a high correlation with the success of the class. Fourth, it was said that the student's level, the teacher's ability, and the appropriate lesson plan had the most influence on the class. Fifth, it was found that pre-service elementary teachers prefer the inquiry learning class model. Sixth, it was found that reports and activity papers were preferred for evaluation in 40-minute classes. Seventh, it was stated that the teaching and learning process plan is highly related to the class, so it will be studied and studied diligently. Eighth, the method of writing a science teaching and learning course plan based on the instructional design principle is interpreted as very beneficial.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the experience of the process of developing instructional media by using Scratch for in-service teachers, after they participated in programming education with Scratch conducted as part of teaching methods using ICT. In particular, this study aimed to explore in-service teachers' thoughts and experiences of the objectives and methods integrated the programming education into their subjects creatively and convergently. To achieve the objective, they conducted an instructional design in accordance with their subject's learning goals and methods on the framework of the ASSURE model. Then, they conducted a project to develop instructional media with Scratch as part of the instructional design. 10 in-service teachers who attends the Graduate School of Education at K University in the second semester of 2019 were participated in this study. As a result, teachers showed positive expectation that the use of media developed by Scratch could bring significant results to attract students' interest and promote students' participation to lead learner-centered classes. This study has implications for future direction on programming education for professional development programs of prospective teachers as well as in-service teachers.

The student's pre-questions (pre-class questions related to the learning contents) not only provide the teacher a gauge of the interest and level of the student, but also provide a useful means of providing clues to proceed with the teaching-learning process. The purpose of this study is to develop an analytical framework for effectively analyzing students' pre-questions and to analyze students' pre-questions related to elementary science learning unit of the 2009 revised curriculum by applying this framework. The developed framework is composed of three major categories: knowledge type, extended type, and curious type, each of which is then subdivided into several sub-categories. Using the developed analysis framework, 914 pre-questions from the students presented in the $5^{th}$ and $6^{th}$ grades of elementary science in the 2009 revised curriculum were analyzed, and the types of questions distributed by grade. The percentage of questions by type was also different. Based on the results of this study, students' needs for learning can be grasped through the pre-questions analysis framework and reflected in the teaching-learning process, and student-centered learning contents and methods could be presented. It is expected to make a meaningful contribution to the analysis framework.

This article examines the ethical and legal legitimacy of using human materials for research purposes with special attention to the issues of informed consent and confidentiality. The purpose of this paper is moral and for law legitimacy exploring of the utilization of the human material without donator's consent. It is a known fact that future medical care should be exchanged a paradigm by preventive health care through a human meterial research. The developed country have established a biobank for a human meterial research and supported a researcher. Korea is the same, too. When it is done a defect, as for the thing researcher derived from the Korean human meterial research. The written consent of the donator can keep a human meterial research origin thing, but cannot use it now. I will justify morally and for law that researcher can use the human material without written consent. We can change the concept of recycling of human material. It is not mean only burning that recycling of human materials for research.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the influences of Science Core schools on students' positive experiences about science (PES) through in-depth interviews with teachers in charge of science core schools. In-depth interviews with teachers were conducted to explore the factors that led to the effectiveness of science core schools in improving the student's PES in light of operational characteristics of science core schools as leading schools, characteristic factors of science core schools on students PES, and improvement plans and requirements of science core schools as leading schools, as well as implications for general high schools. In the case of science core schools, the teacher's enthusiasm for science teaching encouraged students' participation in science classes, promoted students' interest in science other than science-core classes, improved students' inquiry and research skills, increased students' competencies such as communications and collaboration by improving science instructions, and affected career search and exploration based on interests in science experiences. Based on the results, ways to spread the characteristics of science core schools to general schools' curriculum implementation are suggested including providing opportunities to experience the value of science study, to experience science and engineering careers through senior students, to participate in team projects and self-regulated science inquires, and so on.
This study developed and applied a maker education program for an elementary school's science unit on 'Animal Life'. It examined the program's impact on students' academic achievement and creative problem-solving ability. The theme of the maker education program was 'creating a robot virtual reality (VR) exhibition hall mimicking animal characteristics'. It explored scientific concepts and creatively created a robot VR exhibition hall in accordance with the TMI maker education model. Findings revealed that the program significantly improved students' academic achievement and creative problem-solving ability (p<.05). This study provides evidence for the effectiveness of maker education in elementary school science classes and suggests that using maker education can increase students' interest in and engagement with science learning. To implement maker education more actively in elementary school science classes, stakeholders should develop various topics and programs. Additional research investigating the effectiveness of maker education in different age groups and various other areas of elementary science education is required to generalize the results of this study. Moreover, educational and teacher capacity building is required for educators to utilize maker education effectively.
The purpose of this study is to provide the basic materials needed to plan the NCS Learning Module to be used effectively in practical courses. In this study, teachers and students' satisfaction surveys were collected about the NCS (National Competency Standards) learning module, career and field practice, practical environment used in the construction subject course. This study was conducted on public high schools in Chungcheong province (including Daejeon), which is operating practice course using the NCS learning module. The research questions are as follows; First, how was the satisfaction of teachers and students in the practical subject class using NCS learning module? Second, what is the degree of satisfaction of teacher's career and field practice guidance, student's career decision and field practice after the practical course using NCS learning module? Third, the satisfaction level of the developed NCS learning module and practical subject class using the same was determined by setting whether the number of training of NCS-related teachers or the presence or absence of on-the-job training of students were affected? The results of the study are as follows; As a result of comparing the teachers' and students' satisfaction, the students showed satisfaction in all items, whereas the teachers showed 'content level', 'interest', 'necessary knowledge', 'skill acquisition', 'Improvement of practical skills (level of skill performance)', 'scale of experimental practice', and 'items of experimental practice equipment' were dissatisfied. It was found that the number of NCS related teachers' training (or absence) or the presence of students on the field had an effect on the satisfaction of the developed NCS learning module and the practical course using it. In order to fully utilize the developed NCS learning module in the practical course, it is required to develop and construct the teaching material of the teacher who can serve as an intermediary for conceptualization and understanding of job skills. It is necessary to increase the number of education and training specialists to positively reflect the demands of the education field.
