적외선 영상에서 표적 추적을 위한 신호세기 기반 초기 유효게이트 설정 방법 (Setting an Initial Validation Gate based on Signal Intensity for Target Tracking in IR Image Sequences)

  • This paper describes a method to set an intensity-based initial validation gate for tracking filter while preserves the ability of tracking a target with maximum speed. First, we collected real data set of signal versus distance of an airplane target. And at each data point, we computed maximum distance the target can move. And a function is modeled to expect the maximum moving pixels on the lateral direction based on the intensity of the detected target in IR image sequence. The initial prediction error covariance can be computed using this function to decide the size of the initial validation gate. The simulation results show the proposed method can set the appropriate initial validation gates to track the targets with the maximum speed.

  • In Bayesian multi-target tracking, the Poisson multi-Bernoulli mixture (PMBM) filter is a state-of-the-art filter based on the methodology of random finite set which is a conjugate prior composed of Poisson point process (PPP) and multi-Bernoulli mixture (MBM). In order to improve the random finite set-based filter utilized in multi-target tracking of sensor scanning, this paper introduces the Poisson multi-Bernoulli mixture filter into time-matching Bayesian filtering framework and derive a tractable and principled method, namely: the time-matching Poisson multi-Bernoulli mixture (TM-PMBM) filter. We also provide the Gaussian mixture implementation of the TM-PMBM filter for linear-Gaussian dynamic and measurement models. Subsequently, we compare the performance of the TM-PMBM filter with other RFS filters based on time-matching method with different birth models under directional continuous scanning and out-of-order discontinuous scanning. The results of simulation demonstrate that the proposed filter not only can effectively reduce the influence of sampling time diversity, but also improve the estimated accuracy of target state along with cardinality.

  • When a new facility such as automobile assembly line is designed, computer simulation is often used to estimate its actual throughput level. If it falls short of the target throughput level, then the design must be modified to increase the throughput capacity. For complex facilities having parallel processes and network of material flows, the modification procedure is not trivial. Even if the capacity of a particular bottleneck process is increased, the target throughput may not be achieved because the bottleneck may move to another process. Furthermore, each process has a different set of options with different cost to increase the capacity. In this study, we present a systematic procedure of determining the cost-effective set of options which achieves the target throughput.

  • The products to meet the requirement of are installed in nuclear power plant and the reliability target should be provided in the requirement. However, it is not easy to set a reliability target using quantitative analysis. The objective of this paper is to propose a method of reliability target setting considered warranty cost for process controller and then compare a reliability target with reliability analysis result.

  • In this paper, a new detection scheme, the detectable maneuver set (DMS) scheme, is proposed by incorporating the trade-off property between target maneuver magnitude and detection time delay. With this new detection scheme, small maneuvers can be effectively detected without enlarging window size. Simulation results show that the proposed DMS scheme gives better tracking performance.

  • 본 논문은 SMDL (Sogang Machine Description Language)을 이용한 DSP 프로세서용 인스트럭션 셋 시뮬레이터 자동 생성기 시스템의 설계에 관해 기술한다. SMDL은 DSP 어플리케이션에 최적화된 아키텍처를 포함한 임베디드 코어의 효율적 기술을 위한 머신 기술 언어로서, 구현된 인스트럭션 셋 시뮬레이터 자동 생성 시스템은 타겟 ASIP의 SMDL 기술을 입력으로 하여 인스트럭션들의 파이프라인 스테이지 별 행위 정보를 분석한 후 cycle-accurate 인스트럭션 셋 시뮬레이터를 C++ 파일로 자동 생성한다. 구현된 자동 생성 시스템의 검증을 위해 ARM9E-S, ADSP-TS20x와 TMS320C2x 아키텍처들을 SMDL로 기술하여 시뮬레이터들을 자동 생성하였으며, 생성된 시뮬레이터들을 이용하여 $4{\times}4$ 매트릭스 곱셈, 16비트 IIR 필터, 32비트 곱셈, 그리고 FFT에 연산에 대한 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 결과 생성된 시뮬레이터의 정확한 동작을 확인하였다.

  • The automatic target detection which automatically identifies the location of the target with its input image is one of the significant subjects of image processing field. Then, there are some problems that should be solved to detect the target automatically from the input image. First of all, the ambiguity of the boundary between targets or between a target and background should be solved and the target should be searched adaptively. In other words, the target should be identified by the relative brightness to the background, not by the absolute brightness. In this paper, to solve these problems, a new algorithm which can identify the target automatically is proposed. This algorithm uses the set of fuzzy for solving the ambiguity between the boundaries, and using the weight according to the brightness of data in the input image, the target is identified adaptively by the relative brightness to the background. Applying this algorithm to real images, it is experimentally proved that it is can be effectively applied to the automatic target detection.

  • MDS(multi-dimensional scaling) for preference data is a graphical tool which usually figures out how consumers recognize, evaluate certain products. This article is mainly concerned with an optimal scaling for MDS when target configuration is available. Rotation of axis and SUR(seemingly unrelated regression) methods are employed to get a new configuration which is obtained as close to the target as we can. Methodologies developed here are also illustrated via a real data set.

  • The object of this paper is developing of a simulation model for performance evaluation of ai defense-gun system. We developed a three-step kill probability of areal target in case of one gun on one target considering : 1) estimating the target and warhead intercept point, 2) target vulnerability and 3) computing the kill probability. We used a Monte Carlo simulation method. This model can be used for probabilistic analysis giving results of sufficient accuracy with minimum requirement of input data. Also we developed a computer program according proposed algorithm and a set of experimental results using the proposed method are shown.

국내 16개 광역시·도의 온실가스 인벤토리 및 감축목표 비교 연구 (Comparative Analysis of Greenhouse Gas Inventories and Reduction Targets in 16 Metropolitan Cities in Korea)

  • 기후변화에 대응하기 위하여 지역, 국가, 세계 차원에서 온실가스 배출량 감축 목표가 논의되고 있다. 정부가 2009년에 국가 중기 온실가스 감축목표를 발표한 이후, 16개 광역시 도 또한 자체적으로 2020년 온실가스 감축목표를 수립하였다. 본 연구는 16개 광역시 도의 온실가스 배출 특성과 2020년 온실가스 감축 목표 및 이행 전략을 검토 및 비교하였다. 대부분의 광역시 도는 소비에 기반한 배출량 산정 방식을 택하고 있었다. 감축목표는 대체로 2020년까지 온실가스 총배출량을 배출량 전망치 대비 30% 감축하는 목표를 수립하고 있었지만, 일부 광역시 도에서는 온실가스 순배출량을 과거의 특정년도 대비 감축하는 목표를 채택하고 있었다. 2020년 배출량 전망이나 과거 특정년도의 배출량, 그리고 1인당 배출량 등 채택하는 지표에 따라서 광역시 도별 감축목표의 강도는 다르게 평가되었다. 광역시 도별 배출량 특성에 따라서 핵심적인 감축 이행 부문 또한 차이를 보였다. 광역시도의 배출량 산정과 감축목표 수립의 개선 방안으로, 광역시 도 온실가스 인벤토리 개발을 위한 세부 자료에 대한 정부와 광역시도간 공유, 상향식 및 하향식 분석 모형 활용, 전망치 및 기준년도 대비 감축목표 제시, 기후변화대응계획과 에너지계획의 통합 또는 연계 수립 등이 요구된다.
