자동차 헤드라이트용 전자식 안정기 개발 (Development of Electronic Ballast for Automotive High Intensity Discharge Lamp)

  • In this Paper, we suggested the Half-Bridge inverter for the automotive HID electronic ballast. electronic ballast for automotive HID lamp should be supplied by low-frequency square wave avoiding the acoustic resonance(11kHz ∼ 825kHz). When the HID lamp is hot state, the electronic ballast should supply the sufficient current for a few milli-second to the lamp at the re-strike ignition state. that is called take-over current. We have introduced the new take-over current control method that could have reduced the peak current and supplied the sufficient take-over current.

  • In this paper, we suggested electronic ballast with the half bridge inverter for the automotive HID lamp. The electronic ballast for the automotive HID lamp should be supplied by the low-frequency square wave avoiding the acoustic resonance. When the HID lamp is hot state, the electronic ballast should supply the sufficient current to the take over to the lamp at the re-strike ignition state for a few milli-second. We have introduced the new take-over current control method that could have control operating frequency and minimize circuits to the take over current circuits.

반자율주행 차량의 제어권 전환 상황에서 효율적 정보 제공 방식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Efficient Information Delivery of Take-Over Request for Semi-Autonomous Vehicles)

  • 4단계 이전의 자율주행은 반자율주행 단계로 차량이 주행을 하다가 운전자에게 빠르게 제어권을 넘겨야 하는 상황이 반복적으로 벌어진다. 하지만 지금의 자율주행 차량은 제어권을 넘길 때 일괄적으로 간단한 메시지와 경고음만을 사용해 운전자에게 알림을 주고 있어 개개인의 특성에 대한 고려나 다양한 위급 상황에 대한 설명을 제대로 전달하지 못하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 자율주행 차량의 판단에 대한 시·청각 정보 제공 정도와 운전자의 운전 효능감이 제어권 전환 요청 상황에서 운전자의 판단과 행동에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 연구 결과 제어권 전환 요구 시 제공된 시·청각 정보 조합 방식에 따른 운전자의 인지 부하, 신뢰도, 안전감, 사용성 및 유용성의 설문 항목에서 조건에 따라 유의한 차이가 있는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 운전자의 운전 효능감에 따라 제어권 전환 상황에서 요청을 전달하는 효율적인 정보 제공 방식이 달라진다는 인사이트를 발견할 수 있었다. 급박한 제어권 전환 상황에서 운전자의 특성을 고려한 요청이 이루어져야 한다는 본 연구의 결과는 보다 안전하고 효율적으로 운전자와 소통할 수 있는 자율주행 차량을 설계하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

  • The conventional current transformers are often take faults and out of order that for detect to over current of electric power lines because electromagnetic interference. But, it is possible to implement protection relay of high reliability using optical magnetic field sensor which are immunity and small size. The optical magnetic field sensor is possible to rapidly detect to over current and recover when electric power line have fault. And it is not necessary to make with capacitance of electric power lines as optical magnetic field sensor is have linearity from 0 to about 20kA. In this study, we designed and constructed compensative feedback circuit in order to minimize of optical power intensity variation with environ- mental variations(temperature, drive current) of light source. And this system have highest optical advantages and reliability.

The Characteristics of Arc Scattering and Fusing Current of Copper Wire in the Fault Process DB System of Cables in a PL Environment

  • The importance of. identifying the causes of electrical faults cannot be overstated because of the accidents caused by over-current that take place at the home, the office and electrical facilities due to misuse, poor products and system faults. It is necessary to gather objective, scientific data pertaining to electrical fault investigation in a product liability(PL) environment. To date, no database(DB) has been built concerning the accurate cause analysis of faultyfacilities. In this paper, accident hazard and arc scattering when over-current flows in copper wire was investigated. It was found that when over-current flows in a copper wire, the copper wire became heated and bent and beads were scattered around the wire with a flash. It was determinedthat the fusing current and time was related to the current rise per second. For example, when the current rise per second was largethe fusing current was higher than when the current rise per second was small, and the beads dispersed along a wide area. Fusing time, however, was shorter. The possibility of electrical fault became highest when the fusing current was higher. As the current rise per second is short, the dendrite structure is distributed in the surface of the copper wire. These experimental results can be utilized for a fault process DB system in the investigation and the prevention of electrical faults.

  • According to current RRC procedures, network does not know either how long it will take the RRC reconfiguration message (such as Physical Channel Reconfiguration (PCR)/Transport Channel Reconfiguration (TCR)/Radio Bearer Reconfiguration (RBR)) to be transmitted over the source cell or how long the UE will take to reconfigure on receiving the message, it has to assume the worst-case. Thus, it typically indicates a conservative activation time, leading to potentially large interruption for voice traffic, particularly if the source cell signal strength has degraded. This proposals allow the UE to receive the serving cell related information (carried today in PCR/RBR/TCR message) in an Active Set Update message.

Fast-Response Load Regulation of DC-DC Converter By High-Current Clamp

  • A new fast-response high-current clamp DC-DC converter circuit design is presented that will meet the requirements and features of the new generation of microprocessors and digital systems. The clamp in the proposed converter amplifies the current in case of severe load changes and is able to produce high slew rate of output current and capability to keep constant the output voltage. This proposed high-current clamp technique is theoretically loss less, low cost and easy to implement with simple control scheme. This is modified from a basic buck topology by replacing the output inductor with two magnetically coupled inductors. Inductors are difference in inductance, one has large inductance and other has small inductance. The inductor with small inductance will take over the output inductor during fast load transient. It speedup the output current slew rate and reduce the output voltage drop in the case of heavy burden load changes.

수중타원형 천퇴상 불규칙파의 파랑쇄파류에 의한 변형 수치모의 (Numerical Simulation of Irregular Wave Transformation due to Wave-induced Current over a Submerged Elliptic Shoal)

  • 타원형 수중천퇴가 있는 지형을 통과하며 변형하는 파랑을 실험한 Vincent and Briggs(1989)의 불규칙파 실험조건을 수치모의하여 파랑과 흐름의 상호작용 효과를 연구하였다. 수치모의를 위해 SHORECIRC(흐름모형)와 REF/DIF S(파랑모형)를 결합한 모형과 파랑과 흐름을 동시에 계산하는 FUNWAVE를 이용하였다. 이 수치모의로부터 수중 천퇴상에서 발생된 쇄파류는 수중천퇴후면의 파 집중현상을 방해하고, 파랑을 천퇴중심축의 바깥쪽으로 굴절시켜, 파고를 상대적으로 감소시키는 역할을 하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 결합모형의 수치모의 결과는 쇄파류의 영향을 고려하지 않는 파랑모형만의 결과보다 실험치와 더 일치하였으며, FUNWAVE를 이용한 수치모의도 실험결과와 잘 일치하였다. 이는 파랑쇄파류의 파랑변형에 미치는 역할의 중요성을 확인시켜주는 것이다.

Performance prediction of horizontal axis marine current turbines

  • In this study, hydrodynamic performance of a 400 mm diameter horizontal axis marine current turbine model was tested in a cavitation tunnel with 1.21 m x 0.8 m cross-section for over a range of tip speed ratios. Torque and thrust data, as well as cavitation visualizations, for certain operating conditions were acquired. Experimental results indicated that the turbine can be exposed to significant amount of sheet and cloud cavitation over the blades along with vortex cavitation at the blade tips. Inception and distribution of cavitation along the blades of the model turbine were then modelled numerically for design operating conditions using a vortex lattice method. The method was also applied to a turbine tested previously and obtained results were compared with the data available. The comparison between simulation results and experimental data showed a slight difference in terms of span-wise extent of the cavitation region. The cloud and tip vortex cavity observed in experiments cannot be modelled due to the fact that the VLM lacks the ability to predict such types of cavitation. Notwithstanding, the use of such prediction methods can provide a reasonably accurate approach to estimate, therefore take the hydrodynamic effects of cavitation into account in design and analysis of marine current turbines.

철근콘크리트조의 골조물량산출 알고리즘 (Algorithm for the Reinforced Concrete Framework Materials Take-off)

  • 적산분야에서 CAD 시스템의 도입은 생산성과 작업능률에 크게 영향을 미치고 있고, 물량산출 자동화에도 상당한 영향을 미쳤으나 정미량 산출에는 아직 미흡하다. 또한 지금까지 개발된 적산 프로그램들은 각각의 부재별 물량산출을 다루고 있어 부재와 부재가 겹치는 경계부분 물량산출은 한계를 노출하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 부재와 부재가 겹치는 경계부분의 특징을 분석하여 물량산출 알고리즘을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 본 연구의 범위는 골조공사 가운데 콘크리트와 거푸집 물량산출 알고리즘을 대상으로 하였다. 본 연구의 결과로 제시된 알고리즘을 적산 프로그램에 적용할 경우 콘크리트와 거푸집 물량산출이 정밀하게, 그리고 자동으로 수행되어 공사관리의 효율화를 기할 수 있다.
