Technology is the most important determination factor on firm`s competitiveness. It helps firms to secure sustainable competitive advantages. Therefore Korean electronics part firms have increased their R&D investment since the 1990s. But their R&D management capabilities seem to be low level. Empirical study was undertook to verify factors that effect on R&D performance with enhancing R&D management capabilities. To accomplish the purpose, data collected valid samples in Seoul and Kyunggi Province. Using SPSSWIN 10.0package, regression analysis was used to verify hypotheses. This study verify that important factors of 4th R&D generation effect on improving R&D performance. Therefore Korean electronics firms must learn advanced firms in developed countries. Based on learning and accumulating R&D management capabilities, Korean electronics part firms should establish their firm-specific R&D management model.

The studies on the logistics has been mainly centered on the logistics information system and logistics performance on the supply chain for the enterprise's profit making. For sustainable development, it's being required the construction of recycling-oriented system, and it's also necessary to construct the efficient system not only in forward but in reverse channel. In addition, it's required to construct information system for supporting reverse logistics smoothly. In this study of manufacturing enterprises, recognition on the environmental problems is set as the adaptation degree to the national environmental regulations and enterprise's concern to the environmental logistics, and it presents the direction through analyzing the effects of such environmental logistics recognition on reverse logistics information system and performance. In order to achieve these aims, it was performed through combining philological and positive studies.

With the advent of a recent knowledge-based society, interest in patents is steadily increasing. The patent is an important indicator that can capture the level of R&D investment and technology development. In an era of deepening new protectionism and the pandemic of COVID-19, patents play an important role in sustainable economic development and establishing a strong domestic industrial ecosystem. In this paper, we analyze the impact of patent applications on the corporate performance of the Korean manufacturing industry over the past 21 years from 1999 to 2019. We divide patents into overseas patents and domestic patents and analyze the respective effects on the entire manufacturing industry, ICT industries, and non-ICT industries. Major findings are summarized as follows. First, patents have a positive effect on both exports and sales of Korean manufacturing companies. Second, overseas patents have a greater impact on corporate performance than domestic patents. Third, Patents have a more positive effect on ICT industries than on non-ICT industries.

There has been a lack of research that has addressed firm performance associated with the mechanism among dependence, conflict and cooperation in the context of B2B relationships. Building on current knowledge regarding key constructs of dependence, conflict, and cooperation, the authors examine the primary assumption underlying firm performance and presents a process model of key constructs on firm performance using two moderators (relationship length and firm type). In so doing, a professional online research firm conducts panel survey and a total of 200 responses are used to test our proposed model. The results show that both conflict-cooperation and cooperation-firm performance linkages are significant, but other proposed links are insignificant. While the moderating effect of firm type is not significant, the dependence-performance link is moderated by relationship length, particularly in the stage of the initial relationships. These results has implications for a better understanding of B2B relationships from the initial stage to the sustainable stage.

CM시장의 지속적인 발전은 CM성과에 대한 발주자의 수용을 전제로 하고 있으며, 이는 CM성과 향상을 위한 CM기업의 역량과 노력을 요구한다. 이를 위해서는 CM성과 향상을 저해하는 요인을 이해하고 이를 극복하기 위한 노력이 전제되어야 한다. 본 연구의 목적은 FMEA(Failure Mode and Effect Analysis)기법을 활용하여 민간 CM사업의 시공이전단계를 중심으로 CM성과 저해요인을 발굴하여 주요 특징을 분석하고 시사점을 제시하는데 있다. 본 연구를 통해 도출된 주요 결과는 CM성과 저해요인 해소를 통한 CM성과 향상을 위해서는 발주자와 CM사업자의 개별적인 노력과 협력적인 노력이 함께 경주되어야 한다는 것을 시사하고 있다.

In the current technology-driven era, Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) have been deemed as one of the leading and prominent drivers of sustainable economic progress in emerging and developing economies such as in the Bangladesh context. Hence, it is of significance to understand what might fuel accelerating performance of SME business as increased SME performance will bring about more sustainability and strong development of SME sector within the country, through which more employment is anticipated to be generated. Therefore, the current study examines the impact of three factors: risk-taking, innovativeness, and proactiveness on SME performance in Bangladesh. The study has gathered data from SME entities in Dhaka city of Bangladesh, by applying a non-probability sampling strategy. 250 SME owners were contacted to act as respondents and finally, 180 SME owners fully completed the survey questionnaire, indicating that the final sample size is n=180. SPSS is used as a purpose of testing the hypotheses by considering a 5% significance level as acceptance criteria of the hypothesis. Hierarchical regression analysis was run to understand the impact of control variables and independent variables on SME performance and found that age of business, risk-taking, innovativeness, and proactiveness have an important impact on SME performance in Bangladesh.

New liquid crystal (LC) host mixtures and reactive mesogens (RMs) designed for the Polymer Sustainable Vertically Aligned (PS-VA) mode have been developed. The novel combination of LC host mixture with RMs enables to show superior LC display performance with high reliability and to contribute for the robust LC panel production process.

This paper discusses an innovative acoustic membrane developed by doAZ Co., Ltd., offering enhanced noise barrier and dust control for urban construction and demolition, surpassing the performance of traditional non-woven fabrics. The membrane is made from recyclable bubble sheets and designed to be seamlessly integrated into single and double-row scaffolding systems, ensuring broader applicability and sustainability.

교육의 기본적인 형태는 지식의 전달, 즉 음성 전달을 통해 교수가 교육수요자에게 지식을 전달하는 방식이므로 쾌적한 학습 환경 조성에 있어 음환경은 필수적인 고려 요소이다. 실내 음환경은 재실자의 정신적 스트레스와 매우 밀접한 연관성을 가지고 있으므로 적절한 음환경의 조성 여부에 따라 교육의 질적 수준 또한 크게 변화할 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 선행연구에서 제시한 물리적 음향성능 자료를 바탕으로 가청화 기법을 활용한 청감실험을 실시하였으며 이를 통해 강의전용 공간의 물리적 음향성능 개선에 따른 주관적 음향성능의 만족도 변화를 분석하였다. 연구는 강의전용 공간에서 주로 사용되는 음원 6개를 선정하여 8개의 어휘로 평가를 진행하였다. 연구 결과, 음향성능의 개선에 따라 주관적 음향성능도 개선되었으며 소공연장을 강의전용 공간으로 리모델링한 후 "음악"에 대한 주관적 반응보다 "음성"에 대한 주관적 반응이 긍정적으로 나타나 음성 전달에 보다 적합한 공간으로 개선되었음을 확인하였다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 교육시설의 음환경 개선 시 물리적 음향성능 뿐만 아니라 청감실험을 통한 주관적 음향성능 검증의 필요성을 강조하고자 하였다.

국내에서 항만의 방파제는 안전점검 및 안전진단을 통해 기술적 상태평가를 수행하고, 필요 시 해당 시설물에 대해 유지관리를 수행한다. 그러나 최근 생애주기비용(Life Cycle Cost, LCC) 측면에서 기반시설에 대한 관리의 필요성이 증가함에 따라 「지속가능한 기반시설 관리 기본법」이 제정되고, 방파제의 기술적 부분만 평가했던 기존 평가방식에 경제성 평가 및 정책성 평가가 추가되어 성능개선을 통해 방파제에 대한 종합적인 관리가 가능해질 것으로 예측하고 있다. 이러한 이유로 본 연구는 「지속가능한 기반시설 관리 기본법」에서 규정하고 있는 총공사비 500억 미만의 방파제 성능개선사업을 대상으로 성능개선사업의 세부평가항목 및 방법 등을 개발하여 평가방안을 제시하고, 향후 실무에 적용될 성능개선 평가를 위한 방파제 성능개선 평가항목 및 평가방법의 개발 방향을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구는 유지관리 및 성능개선의 개념 검토, 성능개선 관련 문헌조사, 성능개선 공통기준 사업유형 검토, 방파제 성능개선 평가항목 및 평가방법(안) 도출, 전문가 검토 등의 순서로 수행하였으며, 도출한 방파제 성능개선에 대한 평가방안은 지금까지 기술적 상태평가에 국한된 유지관리 업무에 성능개선을 적용한 구체적인 평가방법을 제시한 것으로 시설물의 선제적 관리 및 안전사고 예방에 활용 가능할 것으로 기대된다.
