본 논문은 국내 표정 연구에 적합한 얼굴 표정 이미지를 제작하는 것에 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해서 1980년대 태생의 한국인의 표준 형상에 FACS-Action Unit을 결합하여, KSFI(Korean Standard Facial Image) AU set를 제작하였다. KSFI의 객관성을 확보하기 위해 6가지 기본 감성(슬픔, 행복, 혐오, 공포, 화남, 놀람) 이미지를 제작하여, 감성 별 인식 정확률과 얼굴 요소의 감성인식 기여도를 평가하였다. 실험 결과, 정확률이 높은 행복, 놀람, 슬픔, 분노의 이미지의 경우 주로 눈과 입의 얼굴 요소를 통해 감성을 판단하였다. 이러한 연구 결과를 통해 본 연구에서는 표정 이미지의 AU 변경할 수 있는 KSFI 콘텐츠를 제안하였다. 향후 KSFI가 감성 인식률 향상에 기여할 수 있는 학습 콘텐츠로서의 역할을 할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

After successful nuclear tests Pakistan launched a more severe surprise attack toward India than before. It is highly possible that North Korea will adopt this Pakistan military strategy if it is armed with nuclear weapons. The North Korean forces armed, with nuclear bombs could make double its war capability through strengthening aggressive force structure and come into effect on blocking reinforcement of the US forces at the initial phase of war time. Therefore we may regard that Pyongyang's nuclear arming is a major one of various factors which increase possibility of waging a conventional warfare or a nuclear war. North Korea's high self-confidence after nuclear arming will heighten tension on the Korean Peninsula via aggressive military threat or terror toward South Korea, and endeavor to accomplish its political purpose via low-intensity conflicts. For instance, nuclear arming of the Pyongyang regime enforces the North Korean forces to invade the Northern Limit Line(NLL), provoke naval battles at the West Sea, and occupy one or two among the Five Islands at the West Sea. In that case, the South Korean forces will be faced with a serious dilemma. In order to recapture the islands, Seoul should be ready for escalating a war. However it is hard to imagine that South Korea fights with North Korea armed with nuclear weapons. This paper concludes that the Pyongyang regime after nuclear arming strongly tends to occupy superiority of military strategy and wage military provocations on the Korean Peninsula.

The purpose of this study is to explore how children aged four, in institutional care, perceive and express basic emotions, such as happiness, sadness, anger, surprise, through a role play program using dolls. This study selected two children who were both aged four years old and are currently in child institutional care. The children were observed during six role play trials using dolls and were questioned after the trials. The results were : 1) The children aged four in institutional care best perceived and expressed the emotion of happiness. 2) The children aged four in institutional care were able to positively change their feelings of sadness and expressive behavior through the intimate relationships they formed with the researcher. 3) The children aged four in institutional care expressed the emotion of anger throughout the entire role play using dolls and were positively changed the instructions and coaching given by the researcher. 4) The children aged four in institutional care had the most difficulty in expressing the emotion of surprise. The results of this study could be used as basic data for creating a program intended to help children aged four in institutional care develop their emotions.

It is very important to increase defence capability rapidly against any surprise attack. This can be done by fast deployment of mobilization reserved resources. This paper is forcused on optimal allocation of special reserved resources. First of all, the location of special reserved resources is identified and then the location of combat and mobilization units and amount of requirement resources of each unit are identified. Finally, optimal allocation of the special reserved resources is obtained by Out of Kilter method.

Nowadays inverters are widely used for energy-saving and factory automation. Accordingly the characteristics and functions of the inverter are well understood. To our surprise, the characteristics and functions of the inverter-driven induction motor are not well understood. In this technical review, the electrical and mechanical characteristics of the inverter-driven motor, the optimal combination of the inverter with motor, the special design of the inverter-driven motor, and the application of the inverter with the existing motor are given, based on ABB Drives' experiences and technical data.

In recent years, theoretical properties of Bayesian nonparametric survival models have been studied and the conclusion is that although there are pathological cases the popular prior processes have the desired asymptotic properties, namely, the posterior consistency and the Bernstein-von Mises theorem. In this study, through a simulation experiment, we study the finite sample properties of the Bayes estimator and compare it with the frequentist estimators. To our surprise, we conclude that in most situations except that the prior is highly concentrated at the true parameter value, the Bayes estimator performs worse than the frequentist estimators.

This paper proposes the technique for recognizing the human´s emotion by using the CCD color image. To do this, we first acquire the color image from the CCD camera. And then propose the method for recognizing the expressing to be represented the structural correlation of man´s feature points(eyebrows, eye, nose, mouse), In the proposed method. Human´s emotion is divided into four emotion(surprise, anger, happiness, sadness). Finally, we have proven the effectiveness of the proposed method through the experimentation.

Stochastic duels have been studied by Ancker, William, Bhashyam, Gafarian, Jaiswal, Singh, and others, Stochastic duels are classified in terms of factors such as kill probability, ammunition, time duration, surprise, mobility, time of flight, etc. The purpose of this paper is to summarize and analyze the models of stochastic duels that have been studied so far, and to study the effect of the factors to the win probability.

This paper analyzes clothing symbolism of mood and emotion described in master pieces of Charles dickens(2812∼1870), who is a well-known writer of England, and thus tries to clarify symbolic characteristics of clothing woven into all human lives.. The result show that clothing symbolizes in various ways such mood and emotion as bless, wrath, friendliness, respect, surprise, excitement, embarrassment, uneasiness, sadness, melancholy, anxiety, hostility, unpleasantness, deliveration, shyness, blessing, gratitude, despair, shame, sympathy, boasting, etc.

본 연구에서는 어린이 안전교육 분야 중에서 소방안전교육을 중점적으로 다루고자 한다. 이에 먼저 소방안전교육의 이론적 배경을 고찰하였고, 초등학교 안전사고현황과 사례를 분석하였으며, 현재 경기도 고양소방서에서 실시하고 있는 초등학교 소방과학교실을 중심으로 소방과학교실의 교육개요 및 현황, 교육 목적 및 내용, 그리고 소방과학교실에 참여한 초등학생들과 담당교사를 대상으로 설문지를 통한 만족도 조사를 실시하였다. 이러한 연구를 바탕으로 향후 화학이나 물리의 과학에 기반을 두고 있는 소방관련 화학 실험을 일반 및 청소년에게도 보급하여 자연스러운 소방교육 및 홍보 관련뿐만 아니라 학습과 소방상식을 동시에 직접 체험하는 즐거움(fun)과 놀라움(surprise)이 있는 프로그램으로 새로운 소방교육 홍보영역을 개발함으로서 우리나라 초등학교 소방안전교육의 활성화 방안에 관하여 대안을 제시하고자 하였다.
