Film growth rate and composition variation are numerically analyzed during the selective area growth of InGaN on the GaN triangular stripe microfacet in this study. Both the vapor phase diffusion and the surface diffusion are considered to determine the In composition on the InGaN surface. To obtain the In composition on the surface, flux of In atoms due to the surface diffusion is added to the concentration determined from the Laplace equation which is governing the gas phase diffusion. The solution model is validated by comparing the growth rates from the analyses to the experimental results of GaN and InN films. The In composition and resulting wave length are increased when the surface diffusion is considered. The In content is also increased according to the increasing mask width. The effect of mask width to the In content and wave length is increasing in the case of a small open region.
The performance of the DRAM is strongly dependent on the purity and surface roughness of the TIT (TiN/Insulator/ TiN) capacitor electrodes. Hence, in the present study, we evaluate the effects of organic contamination and change of surface roughness on the cylindrical TIT capacitor electrodes during the wet cleaning process by various analytical techniques such as TDMS, AFM, XRD and V-SEM. Once the sacrificial oxide and PR (Photo Resist) are removed by HF, the organic contamination and surface oxide films on the bottom Ti/TiN electrode become visible. With prolonged HF process, the surface roughness of the electrode is increased, whereas the amount of oxidized Ti/TiN is reduced due to the HF chemicals. In the 80nm DRAM device fabrication, the organic contamination of the cylindrical TIT capacitor may cause defects like SBD (Storage node Bridge Defect). The SBD fail bit portion is increased as the surface roughness is increased by HF chemicals reactions.
This paper describes a hybrid cleaning method of silicon wafer combining nano-bubble and ultrasound to remove sub-micron particles and contaminants with minimal damage to the wafer surface. In the megasonic cleaning process of semiconductor manufacturing, the cavitation induced by ultrasound can oscillate and collapse violently often with re-entrant jet formation leading to surface damage. The smaller size of cavitation bubbles leads to more stable oscillations with more thermal and viscous damping, thus to less erosive surface cleaning. In this study, ultrasonic energy was applied to the wafer surface in the DI water to excite nano-bubbles at resonance to remove contaminant particles from the surface. A patented nano-bubble generator was developed for the generation of nano-bubbles with concentration of 1×109 bubbles/ml and nominal nano-bubble diameter of 150 nm. Ultrasonic nano-bubble technology improved a contaminant removal efficiency more than 97% for artificial nano-sized particles of alumina and Latex with significant reduction in cleaning time without damage to the wafer surface.
The effects of light exposure and light intensity on surface color of Hanwoo (Korean native cattle) beef and color stability of fresh normal and DFD (dark, firm, dry) muscles during 7 days at $4{\pm}1^{\circ}C$ under three display conditions (Dark, Light1000 and Light3000) were investigated. The $L^*$, $a^*$, $b^*$, $C^*$ values and R630-R580 were significantly (p<0.05) higher in normal beef than in DFD beef. The $a^*$, $b^*$, $c^*$ values and R630-R580 of normal beef increased during the first day of display except Light3000 group, then gradually decreased over time. The surfaces of Hanwoo beef accumulated more metmyoglobin in the light than in the dark. Also, the rate of decrease in redness during refrigerated storage was enhanced by light exposure and increase in light intensity. Discolorations were more rapid in DFD beef than normal beef. Increasing light intensity promoted not only discoloration but also lipid oxidation. Therefore storage in the dark is effective in retarding the formation of a brown color in Hanwoo beef.

We developed new quantum chemical molecular dynamics and kinetic Monte Carlo programs to simulate the destruction processes of MgO protecting layer in plasma display panel. Our simulation results proposed that MgO(111) surface with nano-dot structures covered by (001) facets has the highest stability, which is against the previous knowledge. The formation of nano-dot structures on the MgO(111) surface covered by (001) facets was found to be the reason for the high stability of the MgO(111) surface. Furthermore, the effect of grain boundary on the stability of MgO surfaces was also clarified.

To analyze a cotG-based Bacillus subtilis spore display system directly, $GFP_{UV}$ was expressed on the surface of Bacillus subtilis spores. When $GFP_{UV}$ was fused to the C-terminal of the cotG structural gene and expressed, the existence of a $CotG-GFP_{UV}$ fusion protein on the B. subtilis spore was confirmed by flow cytometry confocal microscopic analysis. When the cotG anchoring motif was deleted, no fluorescence emission was observed under flow cytometry and confocal microscopic analysis from the purified spore, confirming the essential role of CotG as an anchoring motif. This $GFP_{UV}$ displaying spore might be used for another signaling application triggered by intracellular or extracellular stimuli.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to find empirical studies the causal relationship among positive defining representation, negative defining representation, surface acting, deep acting, dissatisfaction of job, and intention of job transfer. Methods: The collected data through the survey by customer satisfaction team of "A" company call center. Results: The result of this study is that emotion and behavior norm influence on deep act of expressing both positive impacts of the employees. Conclusion: Feelings of corporate representation norm is psychologically of employees that because it affects even also must facilitate the surface acts and internal acts of employees and job dissatisfaction at the same time due to emotional dissonance and emotional exhaustion and turnover are hidden on the back emotion norms in the contact department, it should be aware of the need to address the emotional problems. Companies need to develop a variety of programs with attention to addressing the emotional difficulties experienced by workers.
Recently, as display and semiconductor devices have been miniaturized and highly integrated, there is a demand for optimization of the structural characteristics of the thin film accordingly. The sputtering device has the advantage of stably obtaining a desired thin film depending on the material selected for the target. However, due to the structural characteristics of the sputtering equipment, the structural characteristics of the film may be different depending on the incidence angle of the sputtering target material to the substrate. In this study, the characteristics of the thin film material according to the scattering angle of the target material and the incidence position of the substrate were studied to find the optimization design rule of the sputtering equipment. To this end, a Si thin film of 1 ㎛ or less was deposited on the Si(100) substrate, and then the microstructure, reflectance, surface roughness, and thin film crystallinity of the thin film formed for each substrate location were investigated. As a result of the study, it was found that as the sputter scattering angle increased and the substrate incident angle decreased, the gap energy along with the surface structure of the thin film increased from 1.47 eV to 1.63 eV, gradually changing to a non-conductive tendency.
The purpose of this study was to compare the ability of an engineered Escherichia coli to degrade chlorpyrifos (Cp) using an organophosphorus hydrolase enzyme, encoded in both Flavobacterium sp. ATCC 27551 or Pseudomonas diminuta, by employing the Lpp-OmpA chimera and the N-terminal domain of the ice nucleation protein as anchoring motifs. Tracing of the expression location of the recombinant protein using SDS-PAGE showed the presentation of OPH by both anchors on the outer membrane. This is the first report on the presentation of OPH on the cell surface by Lpp-OmpA under the control of the T7 promoter. The results showed cell growth in the presence of Cp as the sole source of energy, without growth inhibition, and with higher whole-cell activity for both cells harboring plasmids pENVO and pELMO, at approximately 10,342.85 and 10,857.14 U/mg, respectively. Noticeably, the protein displayed by pELMO was lower than the protein displayed by pENVO. It can be concluded that Lpp-OmpA can display less protein, but more functional OPH protein. These results highlight the high potential, of both engineered bacteria, for use in the bioremediation of pesticide-contaminated sources in the environment.
Antigen 43 (Ag43) proteins, found on the outer membrane of Escherichia coli, are β-sheets that fold into a unique cylindrical structure known as a β-barrel. There are several known structural similarities between bacterial Ag43 autotransporters and physical components; however, the factors that stabilize the barrel and the mechanism for Ag43 passenger domain-mediated translocation across the pore of the β-barrel remain unclear. In this study, we analyzed Ag43β-enhanced green fluorescent protein chimeric variants to provide new insights into the autotransporter Ag43β-barrel assembly, focusing on the impact of the α-helical linker domain. Among the chimeric variants, Ag43β700 showed the highest surface display, which was confirmed through extracellular protease digestion, flow cytometry, and an evaluation of outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). The Ag43β700 module offered reliable information on stable barrel folding and chimera expression at the exterior of the OMVs.
