통신 시스템에서 제한된 총 전력으로 여러개의 부채널로 이루어진 채널의 입력과 출력 사이의 상호정보를 최대화하는 문제의 해는 Waterfilling 구조를 가진다. 채널 상태 정보(CSI)를 알고 있을 때 OFDM이나 MIMO는 병렬의 독립된 부채널들로 분해 될 수 있다. 제한된 전력 하에 채널용량에 접근하는 전송속도를 위한 최적의 부채널 전력할당 문제의 해는 Waterfilling 으로 구할 수 있다. Waterfilling은 상태가 좋은(SNR이 높은) 부채널에 더 많은 전력을 할당하고 상태가 나쁜 채널들은 적은 전력이나 전력을 할당하지 않음으로서 상태가 좋은 부채널들의 전송속도를 높이고 결과적으로 전체 전송속도를 채널용량에 접근하게 한다. Waterfilling은 총 전력 제한을 만족하는 정확한 수면 높이를 찾는데 일반적으로 수면 높이를 추정하고 갱신해 나가는 반복적 알고리즘이 사용된다. 이 과정에서 부채널들에 대한 채널이득 제곱의 역수들의 부분합($\sum\limits_{n=1}^{Last}{\frac{N_0}{{\mid}h_n{\mid}^2}}$) 계산이 반복적으로 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 이런 부분합들을 초기화 단계에서 미리 계산하여 배열을 만들고 임의의 부분합 계산을 배열 참조로 대치함으로서 Waterfilling 알고리즘의 계산 시간을 줄였다.

본 연구에서는 식재본수가 임분 수고생장 및 단면적생장모델의 모수 추정에 미치는 효과를 연구하였다. 삼나무임분의 생장모델에 포함되는 모수들을 추정하기 위하여 기본식으로 Korf 식을 사용하였으며, 식재밀도의 변화가 모수 추정치에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 합리적 분석과정으로 판단되는 추가제곱합(extra sums of square) 원칙을 적용하였다. 적용성 검토결과 임분수고의 생장이 식재밀도에 유의한 영향을 받지 않는다는 기존의 입장과 임분 단면적의 생장곡선은 임분밀도에는 관계없이 동일한 접근선에 접근한다는 사실을 재확인할 수 있었다. 그러나 단면적 생장곡선의 형태는 이와는 달리 식재밀도에 의해 유의한 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 본 연구에서는 삼나무 인공림에서 식재밀도에 따른 효과를 설명할 수 있는 임분단면적 생장모델을 제시하였다.

본 연구에서는 게임의 실외 지형을 구성하는 많은 수의 다양한 나무를 효율적이고 자연스럽게 표현하기 위한 나무 성장 모델을 설계한다. 제안하는 나무 성장 모델은 (1) 다양한 종류의 나무를 보다 직관적이면서 자연스럽고 효율적으로 모델링하기 위한 성장 볼륨 및 약수 함수의 합성 곱 기반의 나무 모델링 방법, (2) 복잡한 구조의 다수 나무들의 실시간 처리를 위하여 인스턴싱 기반의 가지의 세분화 단계를 통한 렌더링 방법, 그리고 (3) 이를 조합하여 게임 배경을 효율적으로 구축하는 방법으로 구성된 나무 성장 모델이다. 제안한 나무 성장 모델을 통하여 자연스럽고 다양한 나무의 성장과 이를 통한 자연스러운 게임 배경의 구축 가능성 및 실시간 처리의 효율성을 실험을 통해 확인한다.

Purpose: To investigate the change of the climacteric syndrome with women with induced menopause by hysterectomy or ovariectomy compared with women with natural menopause. Methods: Menopausal women(aged 45-55) were selected at two oriental medicine hospitals, Sam-se Oriental Medicine Hospital and Daegu Hannny Oriental Medicine Hospital. They were asked about Kupperman's Index, MENQOL and a few additional questions. They were divided into two groups: women with induced menopause by hysterectomy or ovariectomy and women with natural menopause. To analyse the Kupperman's index and MENQOL, SPSS for Windows 12.0 and Wilcoxon Ranked Sum Test were used. Results: The total sums of Kupperman's index and MENQOL were significantly correlated with women with induced menopause and women with natural menopause and women with induced menopause had higher total sums. Both the renal and urinary tract disorder and the sexual disorder were significantly correlated with women with induced menopause and women with natural menopause. The gastrointestinal and psychosocial disorder of Kupperman's index and MENQOL were not significantly correlated with women with induced menopause and women with natural menopause. Conclusions: Women with induced menopause by hysterectomy or ovariectomy experienced climacteric syndrome more severely compared with women with natural menopause, specifically the renal and urinary tract disorder and sexual disorder.

The purpose of this paper is to study the solvability of the equation (E). In Section 2, we give preliminary definitions. In Section 3, we prove related two results (Theorem 1 and Corollary 1) concerning the closedness property of accretive operators in the class of spaces whose nonempty bounded closed convex subsets have the fixed point property for nonexpansive self-mapping. Using therem 1, we derive a result (Theorem 2) on the range of accetive operators in (.pi.)$_{1}$ spaces with a view to establishing a new result, which improves a result of Kartsatos [8] and Webb [15]. Further, we give an interesting consequence (Corollary 3) of Theorem 2. In section 4, we apply Corollary 1 to obtain two results (Theorem 3 and 4) for the range of sums of two accretive operators, which generalize two results of Reich [12].

In this paper, we find the coefficients for the Weierstrass ${\wp}(x)$ and ${\wp}^{{\prime}{\prime}}(x)$($x=\frac{1}{2}$, $\frac{\tau}{2}$, $\frac{\tau+1}{2}$)-functions in terms of the arithmetic identities appearing in divisor functions which are proved by Ramanujan ([23]). Finally, we reprove congruences for the functions ${\mu}(n)$ and ${\nu}(n)$ in Hahn's article [11, Theorems 6.1 and 6.2].

This paper presents the section model for analysis of RC circular tower structures based on nonlinear material laws. The governing equations for normal strains due to the bending moment and the normal force are derived in the case when openings are located symmetrically in respect to the bending direction. In this approach the additional reinforcement at openings is also taken into account. The mathematical model is expressed in the form of a set of nonlinear equations which are solved by means of the minimization of the sums of the second powers of the residuals. For minimization the BFGS quasi-Newton and/or Hooke-Jeeves local minimizers suitably modified are applied to take into account the box constraints on variables. The model is verified on the set of data encountered in engineering practice. The numerical examples illustrate the effects of the loading eccentricity and size of the opening on the strains and stresses in concrete and steel in the cross-sections under consideration. Calculated results indicate that the additional reinforcement at the openings increases the resistance capacity of the section by several percent.

From the formula $\sum_{(a,b,x,y){\in}S^{\pm}_{(n,k)}}\;ab=4\sum_{^{m{\in}\mathbb{N}}_{m<n/k}}\;{\sigma}_1(m){\sigma}_1(n-km)+\frac{1}{6}{\sigma}_3(n)-\frac{1}{6}{\sigma}_1(n)-{\sigma}_3(\frac{n}{k})+n{\sigma}_1(\frac{n}{k})$, we find the Diophantine solutions for modulo $2^{m^{\prime}}$ and $3^{m^{\prime}}$, where $m^{\prime}{\in}\mathbb{N}$.

The range of optimization problem in aquaculture is very wide, resulting from the range of species, mode of operation. Quite a few studies focus marine net-cages, but studies on land based culture farm are few or no. This paper considers a allocation problem to meet production planning in land based aquaculture system. A water pool allocation model in land based aquaculture system was developed. The solution finds the value of decision variable to minimize yearly production costs that sums up the water pool usage cost and sorting cost. The model inputs were (1) the fish growth rate (2) critical standing corp (3) number of water pool (4) number of fish. The model outputs were (5) number of water pool in growing phase (6) cost of cultivation (6) optimal facility allocation(number of water pool for each growing phase). To solve the problem, an efficient heuristic algorithm based on a greedy manner is developed. Branch and bound and heuristic is evaluated through numerical examples.

The paper is an attempt to explore various aspects of Thai traditional cake culture in order to understand the characteristics of Thai tradition cakes and their significance in Thai cultural life. The study will focus on cake culture in both folk culture and court culture as well as observe the changes of this culture in the present time of globalization. In the text book on Thai Khanom, Kobkhaew Natpinit sums up the characteristic of Thai traditional 'Khanom' as follows: 1. Thai traditional (cake) Khanom are mostly made from rice, sugar and coconut. 2. The tastes of Thai Khanom are sweet and rich in coconut cream with a little bit of salty taste to enhance the flavour of coconut. 3. The colour and scents of Thai Khanom are naturally fragrant. Fresh fragrant flowers are used to add pleasing fragrance and colour to Thai Khanom.
