슬래그모래를 사용한 모르터의 압축강도특성 비교에 관한 실험적 연구 (A Experimental Study on the Comparison of the Compression Strength Characteristics of Mortar using the Blast-Furnace Slag Sand)

  • This experimental study presents the strength properties of mortar using the blast-furnace slag sand. The mix disign of this study is based on the each three classes of unit water; (250, 275, 300)kg/㎥ and four classes of W/C; (45, 50, 55, 60)% and substitution rate(0, 25, 50, 75, 100)%. It gives following result. As W/C ratio increase, the strength is decrease. In case of mortar using air-cooled blast-furnace slag sand, the 3-days and 7-days compression strength is increase as substitution rate is higher. But in case of the mortar using the quenched blast-furnace slag sand, the compression strength is decrease as substitution rate is higher.

  • The purpose of this study is to offer foundmental information of fly ash concrete for field application. Through before study of fly ash concrete, various properties were checked. but when fly ash was added In concrete, entrained air quantity was decreased as fly ash substitution is increased in fresh concrete. so entrained air(below AE) quantity and a kind of AE according to fly ash substitution was tested basic properties. Also water-reducing efficiency was tested. And hydration heat according to fly ash substitution was tested by KR-100. As result of test, according to fly ash substitution increase, entrained air quantity is increase for target entrained air quantity, water-reducing efficiency and hydration heat are positive.

  • This paper is to investigate the characteristics of a concrete in which river sand is partially substituted with crushed sand. Since river sand has a relatively small fineness modulus, there is a need to increase the fineness modulus of sand used in the manufacture of concrete. In an experiment, it was observed that when river sand had a fineness modulus of 2.0~2.4 and crushed sand had a fineness modulus of 2.8~3.5, the substitution rate of the crushed sand was preferably within the range of 25~50%. The experimental results also revealed that as the substitution rate of the crushed sand increased, the flowability of the concrete tended to increase. However, when the substitution rate of the crushed sand reached 75% or more, the workability of the concrete was considerably poor. Further, as the substitution rate of the crushed sand increased, the air content and the bleeding rate of the concrete were low.

  • PLZT(7.5/70/30) was initially a cubic phase having diffuse phase transition at high temperatures. Sn-sub-stitution for PLZT(7.5/70/30) underwent an irreversible phase transition from cubic to rhom-bohedral structure. However PLZTS(7.5/70/30/y=5 & 10) could be reversibly switched from paraelectric to ferroelectric phase under electric field without showing a significant change in crystal structure. With in-creasing the amount of Sn-substitution the P-E behaviors of the PLZTS became more antiferroelectric which was similar to the effect of La-substitution of PLZT. Our study may suggest that Sn-substitution ef-fectively weakens a formation of long-range order between polar Ti-or Zr- containing octahedra which greatly affects strain properties.

NiSi에의 Co 치환에 대한 ab-initio 계산 (Ab-initio calculation on Co substitution into NiSi)

  • Cobalt subtitution on NiSi is investigated by using an ab-initio calculation. Firstly, a relaxed NiSi structure is calculated and the calculated lattice parameters are compared with experimentally determined lattice parameters. The calculated values are smaller than the experimental values by about 2%. As the calculation is based on 0 K, and the experimental measurement is performed at room temperature, those values are in good agreement. Next, a Co atom substitutes a Ni and Si site, respectively, to evaluate the preferable site between them. Co prefers Ni site to Si site. The calculated total energy also indicates that the Co substitution to Ni site stabilizes the NiSi structure. Therefore, the thermal stability of NiSi with Co addition can be achieved by the structure stabilization of NiSi by Co substitution into Ni site of NiSi.

  • In this study piezoelectric and dielectric properties of $Pb(Mn_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_{3}-Pb(Zr,Ti)O_{3}$ ceramics were investigated with $Pb(Ni_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_{3}$ substitution. As the $Pb(Ni_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_{3}$ substitution was increased, dielectric constant and electromechanical coupling factor (kp) were increased while mechanical quality factor decreased.

  • In this study, in order to develop multilayer low temperature sintering piezoelectric transformer, $Pb_{0.97}Sr_{0.03}[(Mn_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})x(Zr_{0.48}Ti_{0.52})_{1-x}O_3]+$ 0.25wt% $CeO_2$+0.3 wt% $Nb_2O_5$ system ceramics were fabricated using $Li_2CO_3-CaCO_3$ and CuO as sintering aids and their piezoelectric and dielectric characteristics were investigated with the amount of PMN substitution. With increasing PMN substitution, electromechanical coupling factor kp and dielectric constant were increased.

  • Allylindium and propargylindium reagents in situ generated from the reactions of indium with allyl halides and propargyl halides could participate as nucleophiles in Pd-catalyzed substitution reactions of allyl carbonates to produce 1,5-dienes and 1,5-enynes in good yields. $\beta$-Hydride elimination products were produced in case of carbonates having $\beta$-hydrogens. Because organoindium reagents obtained from allyl or propargyl halides and indium have previously not been used to Pd-catalyzed allylic and propargylic substitution reactions, these results should provide more opportunities for the development of new C-C bond forming reactions.

  • In this paper, a theoretical approach is studied to predict structural performances and weight reduction rates of a car-body with shell type sections in case that its materials have to be substituted. For the material substitution design of a car-body, bending, axial and twisting deformations are considered under constant stiffness and strength conditions, which utilize some new indices derived from a structural performance point of view. The developed indices to measure the weight reduction by the material substitution give good guidelines on conceptual design of car-bodies.

The fast image encryption algorithm based on substitution and diffusion

  • A fast image encryption system based on substitution and diffusion was proposed, which includes one covering process, one substitution process and two diffusion processes. At first, Chen's chaotic system together with an external 256-bit long secret key was used to generate the key streams for image encryption, in which the initial values of Chen's chaotic system were regarded as the public key. Then the plain image was masked by the covering process. After that the resulting image was substituted with the disturbed S-Box of AES. Finally, the substituted image was diffused twice with the add-modulo operations as the core to obtain the cipher image. Simulation analysis and comparison results with AES and some existing image cryptosystems show that the proposed image cryptosystem possesses the merits of fast encryption/decryption speed, good statistical characteristics, strong sensitivity and etc., and can be used as a candidate system of network security communication.
