A Study on Log Collection to Analyze Causes of Malware Infection in IoT Devices in Smart city Environments

  • A smart city is a massive internet of things (IoT) environment, where all terminal devices are connected to a network to create and share information. In accordance with massive IoT environments, millions of IoT devices are connected, and countless data are generated in real time. However, since heterogeneous IoT devices are used, collecting the logs for each IoT device is difficult. Due to these issues, when an IoT device is invaded or is engaged in malicious behavior, such as infection with malware, it is difficult to respond quickly, and additional damage may occur due to information leakage or stopping the IoT device. To solve this problem, in this paper, we propose identifying the attack technique used for initial access to IoT devices through MITRE ATT&CK, collect the logs that can be generated from the identified attack technique, and use them to identify the cause of malware infection.

AHP를 활용한 자동차 조달 물류 평가요인 중요도 분석 (Analysis of the Importance of Evaluation Factors for Automotive Procurement Logistics using AHP)

  • This study evaluated the importance of automobile procurement logistics using AHP. Although automobile procurement and logistics is represented by JIT, internal and external risk factors for the automobile and logistics industries are increasing, so it is necessary to re-evaluate them and establish countermeasures. Therefore, this study conducted AHP analysis targeting 30 automobile procurement and logistics experts. Through previous studies and interviews, 4 factors for Tier 1 and 12 factors for Tier 2 were derived. As a result of AHP, the logistics factor was analyzed as the most important and the cost factor was less important than the other factors. This means that supply chain operation is more important than cost, and it is analyzed that stopping all supply chain participants is more damaging than logistics or inventory costs. Such research can provide implications not only for the automotive supply chain but also other industries with similar characteristics, and it is considered to be a meaningful study at the present time when the global supply chain is being reorganized.

  • 미소칩을 PCB상에 실장하는 장비에서 그 칩을 이동해주는 역할은 겐트리가 하고 있다. 그런데 겐트리의 기계적 한계 때문에 생산성을 증가시키는 것은 쉽지 않다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 생산성을 높일 수 있는 방법을 소프트웨어적으로 해결하고자 한다. 이를 위해 겐트리의 이동 시간을 단축함으로써 생산성을 향상시킬 수 있는 방법을 제시한다. 먼저, 현재 사용하고 있는 방법(stop-motion)에 대해 총 이동 시간을 계산해 보았다. 그리고 본 논문에서 제시하는 이동 시간 단축 방법(moving-motion)에 대해서도 총 이동 시간을 계산해 보았다. 이 방법은 카메라 앞에서 멈추지 않고 부품 검사를 함으로써 이동 시간을 줄이는 것이다. 그 결과 본 논문에서 제시한 방법이 16%의 시간을 단축하였음을 보여주었다. 향후에는 다른 타입에 대해서도 시간 계산 방법을 연구하는 것이다.

Effect of Route of Preoperative Biopsy on Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection for Patients with Early Gastric Cancer

  • Objective: To observe and compare the effects of multi-patch biopsy under conventional white light imaging endoscopy (C-WLI) and precise targeted biopsy under magnifying narrow-band imaging endoscopy (M-NBI) on the endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) of early gastric cancers and intraepithelial neoplasias. Methods: According to the way of selecting biopsy specimens, patients were divided into C-WLI and M-NBI groups, 20 cases. The ESD operations of the 2 groups were compared quantitively. Results: The mean frequency of biopsy in M-NBI group was ($1.00{\pm}0.00$), obviously lower than in the C-WLI group ($4.78{\pm}1.02$) (P<0.01).The average total number of selected biopsy specimens was also fewer ($1.45{\pm}0.12$ and $7.82{\pm}2.22$, respectively, P<0.01). There was no significant difference in the time of determining excision extension, marking time and the time of specimen excision of 2 groups during the ESD (P>0.05), whereas submucosal injection time, mucosal dissection time, stopping bleeding time, wound processing time in the M-NBI group were significantly shorter than in the C-WLI group (P<0.01). Conclusion: Precise targeted biopsy under M-NBI can obviously shorten the time of ESD operation, with small quantity of tissues but high pathological positive rate.

동적 시간제어에 기반한 실시간 탐색 알고리즘에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Real - time Search Algorithm based on Dynamic Time Control)

  • 본 연구에서는 실시간 휴리스틱 탐색 알고리즘을 개발하고 이것을 기존의 mini-min lookahead 알고리즘과 비교하였다. 많은 실시간 휴리스틱 탐색의 접근 방법에서 종종 전체 문제를 몇 개의 부 문제로 문제를 분할한다. 본 연구에서는 분할된 부 문제에서 마감시간을 적용할 뿐만 아니라 전체 해를 구하는데 있어서도 마감시간을 적용하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 실시간 휴리스틱 탐색 알고리즘으로 제안된 $RTA^{\ast}$, SARTS, DYNORA 등의 알고리즘들은 탐색에 필요한 시간의 예측을 휴리스틱 평가 함수로부터 얻기 때문에 휴리스틱 평가의 정확도가 그 알고리즘의 성능을 보장하게 된다. 그러나 실세계의 문제에서 정확한 휴리스틱 평가 함수를 구하는 것은 매우 어려운 일이므로 부 문제 공간에서의 탐색 상황을 반영한 마감시간을 적용할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 동적 마감시간 전략인 cut-off 방법을 사용하는 새로운 알고리즘을 제안한다.

모래자갈과 누수성 토질을 기반으로하는 용수로의 누수방지에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Leakage Interception Work in the Irrigation Canal Founding on the Sandy Gravel or the Porous Soil)

  • The experiment was carried out in order to improve the leakage stopping work in the irrigation canal founding on the porous soil. But the experiment had many problems to be studied more owing to the insufficient time and facilities. The results obtained are summarized as follows; 1. Polyethylene film is estimated not to make strength decrease owing to buring in the subsoil, but to make owing to the sunlight. 2. Coated nylon shows the tendency to deteriorate strength when it is buried in the earth or exposed to the sun for long time, but leakage is all but impermeability generally. 3. Leakage loss rates for one hour show some differences in the canal to be full with water in accordance with operating methods, that is, the clay lining section is 12.6%, the coated nylon lining section is 1.7%, the polyethylene film lining section is 1.3%, respectively. 4. Leakage quantities per wetted perimeter unit area show $3.556cc/cm^2/hr$. in the clay lining section, $1.574cc/cm^2/hr$. in the coated nylon section, $0.695cc/cm^2/hr$. in the polyethylene film lining section, respectively. 5. When the construction fund make the clay lining section as a standard, the polyethylene film section is 92.1%, the coated nylon section is 174.2%, respectively. But, the unit cost of execution may be low when the polyethylene film and the coated nylon will enable to mass-produce for the purpose of execution.

고속 무선 통신을 위한 적응형 터보 시공간 처리를 갖는 터보 부호화된 다중 입출력 시스템 (Turbo Coded MIMO System with Adaptive Turbo Space- Time Processing for High-Speed Wireless Communications)

  • 터보 부호와 터보 처리는 무선 단일 입출력 통신 시스템과 마찬가지로 무선 다중 입출력 통신 시스템에서도 재귀 처리를 통하여 Shannon Limit에 근접하는 방법으로 알려져 왔다. 재귀 처리는 복호와 간섭 제거의 상호 영향을 극대화시킬 수 있으나 터보 부호는 복잡도와 내부의 복호 처리의 지연으로 인해 터보 처리에 사용되지 않고 있다. 본 논문에서는 고속 무선 통신을 위한 적응형 Turbo-PAST 처리를 갖는 터보 부호화된 다중 입출력 시스템과 효율적인 조기 정지 기법으로 E-CRC 기법을 제안한다. 시뮬레이션 결과는 Turbo-PAST가 기존 시스템보다 1.3dB 뛰어나고 제안된 E-CRC 기법은 평균 재귀 횟수 관점에서 터보 처리의 재귀를 약 1회정도 줄이는 것을 보여준다.

심지융착기의 압착벨트 운동에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Press Belt Motion in the Fusing Press M/C)

  • Fusing press m/c is used for heating and pressing the specimens that are fed into between the two moving belts. Therefore the belt movement, belt temperature, and the pressure between belts must be kept constant. Especially, the belts should move in a limited operation range. When the belts run far out of the operation point, the machine has to be stopped, which results in a product defect because the fusing conditions, e.g., temperature and pressure, change during the transient process time period. It is important to avoid the belt stopping by maintaining the belt movement in a limited range. This study reports about the movement of the endless fusing belt in a long-span roller fusing m/c. The belt position changes as the 1st-order system does; if the roller axes are slanting each other with a certain angle, the belt running around the two rolls shows a dynamic behavior with the time that deviates fastly at the beginning from the initial condion and slows down. Then it reaches at a final position. The skewer the axes, the greater the position change. The inital change rate of the belt becomes large as the skewness of the axes between the two rollers increases.

  • The research trend of the simulation optimization has been focused on exploring continuous decision variables. Yet, the research in discrete decision variable area has not been fully studied. A new research trend for optimizing discrete decision variables ha just appeared recently. This study, therefore, deals with a discrete simulation method to get the system evaluation criteria required for designing a complex probabilistic discrete event system and to search the effective and reliable alternatives to satisfy the objective values of the given system through a on-line, single run with the short time period. Finding the alternative, we construct an algorithm which changes values of decision variables and a design alternative by using the stopping algorithm which ends the simulation in a steady state of system. To avoid the loss of data while analyzing the acquired design alternative in the steady state, we provide background for estimation of an auto-regressive model and mean and confidence interval for evaluating correctly the objective function obtained by small amount of output data through simulation with the short time period. In numerical experiment we applied the proposed algorithm to (s, S) inventory system problem with varying Δt value. In case of the (s, S) inventory system, we obtained good design alternative when Δt value is larger than 100.

  • This study focuses on finding ways to derive train's optimal ECO driving pattern, which can improve the ride quality and reduce driving energy consumption with keeping the time interval between the stations. As research method, we compared difference of currently operating train's ATO and MCS driving patterns, and concentrated upon the things need to consider in simulation in order to improve the existing pattern of ATO driving pattern's issues with securing the train operation safety. Determining driving pattern minimizing energy consumption by controlling powering within speed limit and controlling switching to coasting at appropriate point considering the track conditions for each section, and determining braking control starting time considering ride comfort and precise stopping is considered to be most important.
