First Order Differential Subordinations and Starlikeness of Analytic Maps in the Unit Disc

  • Let α be a complex number with 𝕽α > 0. Let the functions f and g be analytic in the unit disc E = {z : |z| < 1} and normalized by the conditions f(0) = g(0) = 0, f'(0) = g'(0) = 1. In the present article, we study the differential subordinations of the forms $${\alpha}{\frac{z^2f^{{\prime}{\prime}}(z)}{f(z)}}+{\frac{zf^{\prime}(z)}{f(z)}}{\prec}{\alpha}{\frac{z^2g^{{\prime}{\prime}}(z)}{g(z)}}+{\frac{zg^{\prime}(z)}{g(z)}},\;z{\in}E,$$ and $${\frac{z^2f^{{\prime}{\prime}}(z)}{f(z)}}{\prec}{\frac{z^2g^{{\prime}{\prime}}(z)}{g(z)}},\;z{\in}E.$$ As consequences, we obtain a number of sufficient conditions for star likeness of analytic maps in the unit disc.   • As hypergeometric meromorphic multivalent functions of the form $$L^{t,{\rho}}_{{\varpi},{\sigma}}f(\zeta)=\frac{1}{{\zeta}^{\rho}}+{\sum\limits_{{\kappa}=0}^{\infty}}{\frac{(\varpi)_{{\kappa}+2}}{{(\sigma)_{{\kappa}+2}}}}\;{\cdot}\;{\frac{({\rho}-({\kappa}+2{\rho})t)}{{\rho}}}{\alpha}_{\kappa}+_{\rho}{\zeta}^{{\kappa}+{\rho}}$$ contains a new subclass in the punctured unit disk ${\sum_{{\varpi},{\sigma}}^{S,D}}(t,{\kappa},{\rho})$ for -1 ≤ D < S ≤ 1, this paper aims to determine sufficient conditions, distortion properties and radii of starlikeness and convexity for functions in the subclass $L^{t,{\rho}}_{{\varpi},{\sigma}}f(\zeta)$.

  • The object of this study is to introduce a new subclass of univalent analytic functions on the open unit disk. This subclass is created by utilizing univalent analytic functions with negative coefficients. We first explore the specific properties that functions in this subclass must possess before examining their coefficient characterization. By applying this approach, we observe several fascinating features, including coefficient approximations, growth and distortion theorems, extreme points and a demonstration of the radius of starlikeness and convexity for functions belonging to this subclass.

  • In this paper, we defined some new classes of analytic functions in conic domains. We investigate some important properties such as necessary and sufficient conditions, coefficient estimates, convolution results, linear combination, weighted mean, arithmetic mean, radii of starlikeness and distortion for functions in these classes. It is important to mentioned that our results are generalization of number of existing results in the literature.

  • Let $Q_{n+p-1}(\alpha)$ denote the- dass of functions $$f(z)=z^{P}-\sum_{n=0}^\infty{a_{(p+k)}z^{p+k}$$ ($a_{p+k}{\geq}0$, $p{\in}N=\left{1,2,{\cdots}\right}$) which are analytic and p-valent in the unit disc $U=\left{z:{\mid}z:{\mid}<1\right}$ and satisfying $Re\left{\frac{D^{n+p-1}f(\approx))^{\prime}}{pz^{p-a}\right}>{\alpha},0{\leq}{\alpha}<1,n>-p,z{\in}U.$ In this paper we obtain sharp results concerning coefficient estimates, distortion theorem, closure theorems and radii of p-valent close-to- convexity, starlikeness and convexity for the class $Q_{n+p-1}$ ($\alpha$). We also obtain class preserving integral operators of the form $F(z)=\frac{c+p}{z^{c}}\int_{o}^{z}t^{c-1}f(t)dt.$ c>-p $F\left(z\right)=\frac{c+p}{z^{c}}\int_{0}^{z} t^{c-1}f\left(t \right)dt. \qquad c>-p$ for the class $Q_{n+p-1}$ ($\alpha$). Conversely when $F(z){\in}Q_{n+p-1}(\alpha)$, radius of p-valence of f(z) has been determined.

  • We obtain the conditions on ${\beta}$ so that $1+{\beta}zp^{\prime}(z){\prec}1+4z/3+2z^2/3$ implies p(z) ${\prec}$ (2+z)/(2-z), $1+(1-{\alpha})z$, $(1+(1-2{\alpha})z)/(1-z)$, ($0{\leq}{\alpha}$<1), exp(z) or ${\sqrt{1+z}}$. Similar results are obtained by considering the expressions $1+{\beta}zp^{\prime}(z)/p(z)$, $1+{\beta}zp^{\prime}(z)/p^2(z)$ and $p(z)+{\beta}zp^{\prime}(z)/p(z)$. These results are applied to obtain sufficient conditions for normalized analytic function f to belong to various subclasses of starlike functions, or to satisfy the condition ${\mid}log(zf^{\prime}(z)/f(z)){\mid}$ < 1 or ${\mid}(zf^{\prime}(z)/f(z))^2-1{\mid}$ < 1 or zf'(z)/f(z) lying in the region bounded by the cardioid $(9x^2+9y^2-18x+5)^2-16(9x^2+9y^2-6x+1)=0$.
