대면적 용융탄산염 연료전지 시스템 동특성 분석 (Analyses of Larg Cell Area MCFC System Dynamics)

  • 대면적 용융탄산염 연료전지 운전 시 스택에서 발생하는 스택내 온도차와 극간 차압의 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 정상상태특성 및 동특성을 분석하였다. 두가지 용융탄산염연료전지 스택(5 kW(3,000$\textrm{cm}^2$, 20장), 3kW(6,000$\textrm{cm}^2$, 5장) 의 운전결과를 통하여 스택성능에 중요한 영향을 미치는 조작변수(전류밀도 , 연료 이용률, 공기 이용률)와 조절변수(스택 온도차, 연료극 차압, 공기극 차압)를 결정하였다. 조작변수들에 대한 조절변수들의 변화량인 스택의 정상상태 이득률을 구하여 시스템의 안정성을 분석하고 동특성을 나타내는 전달함수를 구하였따. 전달함수는 3$\times$3 행렬로 시간 지연항이 없는 전형적인 1차 시스템으로 표현되었다 동특성 분석에 의해 대면적 용융탄산염 연료전지 시스템의 최적 운전 조건을 설정할 수 있었다. 5 kW 스택의 경우 전류밀도가 150mA/$\textrm{cm}^2$ 일 때 스택 출구 온도를 68$0^{\circ}C$ 이하로 유지하기 위해서는 공기극 가스 recycle 에 의한 가압 운전이 필요하였으며, 효과적으로 용융탄산염 연료전지 시스템을 제어하기위해서는 조작변수의 조절변수상호간의 연계성을 제거하기위한 다중 입.출력 제어 및 연계 제거기가 필요함을 확인하였다. 이 결과는 향후 대면적 용융탄산염을 연료전지 시스템의 제어구조 설계와 운전모드설정에 중요한 자료로 사용될 것이다.

소셜 Q&A 사이트의 디자인 요소가 신규 사용자의 지속사용에 미치는 영향: 로지스틱 회귀분석과 XGBoost 기법의 적용 (How Design Elements of a Social Q&A Site Influence New Users' Continuance Behavior: An Application of Logistic Regression and XGBoost Techniques)

  • 소셜 Q&A 사이트에서는 사용자들이 서로 질문하고 답변한 내용들이 실시간으로 저장되어, 지식 저장소로서 중요한 역할을 수행한다. 이러한 소셜 Q&A 사이트가 지속적으로 성장하려면 신규 질문자와 답변자가 지속적으로 유입되어야 한다. 하지만 선행 연구는 기존 사용자, 그 중에서도 답변자의 자발적 지식 공유에 주로 초점을 맞추었고, 신규 참여자에 대한 관심이 부족했다. 본 연구는 동기부여 어포던스 이론과 자기결정이론을 이론적 근거로 하여 신규 참여자들이 소셜 Q&A 사이트를 지속적으로 사용하도록 하는 요인에 대해서 살펴보았으며, 신규 참여자가 질문자인지 답변자인지에 따라 영향요인에 차이가 있는지도 알아보았다. 추가적으로, 전환 비용의 개념을 활용하여 신규 사용자의 다른 멤버 사이트에 대한 사전 경험이 지속사용 영향요인에 대해서 가지는 조절효과도 확인해 보았다. Stack Exchange Network의 5개 주요 사이트에서 수집된 25,000명의 온라인 활동 데이터를 로지스틱 회귀분석과 XGBoost 기법을 통해 분석한 결과, 자기결정 이론에서 제시하는 근본적인 욕구 세가지(역량, 자율, 관계)와 연관된 동기부여 어포던스들이 신규사용자의 지속사용 행위에 유의한 영향력을 보여주었다. 멤버 사이트 사용 경험은 사용자들의 전환비용을 높여서 지속사용 선행요인들의 영향력을 약화시켰다. 흥미로운 점으로, 규제 관련 어포던스는 신규 사용자 전체를 대상으로 한 분석에서 유의하지 않은 결과를 보였으나, 질문자와 답변자를 구분한 분석에서는 서로 반대 방향으로 유의한 영향력을 보였다.

  • Recently, high-rise apartment is being briskly built but there are problems such as lack of ventilation, stack effect and much energy consumption. Therefore It is recommended to develop a Small Wind Power System Combined Ventilator as a solution to solve these problems. The purpose of this study is to provide basis for Small Wind Power System Combined Ventilator in super high-rise apartment. This study conducted CFD simulation (Star-CCM) according to the shape of structures, building height and distance of two structures to identify the effect of wind speed increase when the structure is installed. As a result, pyramidal type was best suited for increase of wind speed. The best place was the front of the roof to main wind direction, and the best building height was 200m rather than 300m. If two or more small wind turbines combined ventilator are installed closely, vertical position to main wind direction is recommended. Horizontal position must necessarily be avoided, but height difference between two blades more than 3m showed good performance.

범용 회로 시뮬레이터를 위한 손실을 반영한 PCB 평판 모형 (PCB Plane Model Including Frequency-Dependent Losses for Generic Circuit Simulators)

  • 본 논문은 일반적인 SPICE 시뮬레이터에서 사용 가능한 PCB 평판 해석 모형을 제안한다. 제안된 모형은 주파수에 따라 증가하는 두 가지 손실, 즉, 표피 손실과 유전 손실의 영향을 반영한다. 평판은 메시(mesh) 구조로 조각을 낸 후, 각각의 단위모형은 전송선 소자와 손실 모형을 이용하여 모형화된다. 손실 모형은 DC 손실을 위해서 하나의 저항이 요구되고, 표피 손실을 위해 직렬 RL ladder 회로, 유전 손실을 위해서 직렬 RC ladder 회로가 요구된다. 제안된 모형의 검증을 위해 주파수 가변저항을 사용한 SPICE ac 해석결과를 통해 비교하고, 전형적인 데스크탑 PC용 FR4 4층 PCB 적층 구조를 만들어 VNA 측정치와도 비교할 것이다. 이 모형은 RLGC 수동 소자들로만 구성되므로 주파수 영역 및 시간 영역에서도 다양한 선형/비선형 소자들과 결합하여 과도 해석이 가능하다.

OVERCOMING THE NUTRITIONAL LIMITATIONS OF RICE STRAW FOR RUMINANTS 1. UREA AMMONIA TREATMENT AND SUPPLEMENTATION WITH RICE BRAN AND GLIRICIDIA FOR LACTATING SURTI BUFFALOES

  • Fifty-six lactating Surti buffaloes, fed rice straw, were allocated to seven treatment groups as follows: 1. Straw supplemented with 2% urea (SS) + 1.5kg rice bran (RB) 2. Straw treated with 4% urea in an open stack (TS open) 3. TS open + 1.5 kg RB 4. TS open + 3.0 kg RB 5. TS open + 1.5 kg RB + 3.0 kg Gliricidia (Gl) 6. Straw treated with 4% urea in a closed pit (TS closed) 7. TS closed + 1.5 kg RB + 3.0 kg Gl Milk production, butterfat percentage and liveweight gain of cows and calves were measured and tested with analysis of variance. The results are: - The animals on urea treated straw (group 2) had a higher milk production (p<0.05), higher butterfat production (p<0.05) and less liveweight gain loss (p<0.05) than the animals on urea supplemented straw (group 1). Butterfat percentage also increased by treatment, although not significantly (p>0.05). - Increasing levels of rice bran (groups 3 and 4 compared to 2) increased total milk production and milked quantity of butterfat, while butterfat percentage decreased (p < 0.05). - Milk production increased (p <0.05) with extra rice bran added (group 4 compared to 3), but was not affected (p > 0.05) by Gliricidia addition (group 5 compared to 3). Butterfat percentage dropped with extra rice bran supplement (p <0.05). The lack of response to Gliricidia indicated that protein is not limiting in treated straw, or that Gliricidia protein is partly insoluble. - System of treatment had no effect on milk production (p >0.05), while supplementation with 1.5 kg RB and 3.0 kg Gliricidia increased production and caused a lower butterfat percentage (p <0.05) (groups 2, 5, 6 and 7 compared). A significant (p <0.05) interaction treatment system x supplementation was present. It was concluded, that both treatment and supplementation did affect milk production as well as milk composition. Gliricidia addition gave less effect than rice bran, indicating different requirements for starchy substances in the feed. Treatment of straw does not negatively affect butterfat production, it can increase butterfat production and even butterfat percentage.

차세대 고응답 분사용 피에조 인젝터의 노즐유동 및 분무특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Nozzle Flow and Spray Characteristics of Piezo Injector for Next Generation High Response Injection)

  • Most diesel injector, which is currently used in high-pressure common rail fuel injection system of diesel engine, is driven by the solenoid coil energy for its needle movement. The main disadvantage of this solenoid-driven injector is a high power consumption, high power loss through solenoid coil and relatively fixed needle response's problem. In this study, a prototype piezo-driven injector, as a new injector mechanism driven by piezoelectric energy based on the concept of inverse piezo-electric effect, has been designed and fabricated to know the effect of piezo-driven injection processes on the diesel spray structure and internal nozzle flow. Firstly we investigated the spray characteristics in a constant volume chamber pressurized by nitrogen gas using the back diffusion light illumination method for high-speed temporal photography and also analyzed the inside nozzle flow by a fully transient simulation with cavitation model using VOF(volume of fraction) method. The numerical calculation has been performed to simulate the cavitating flow of 3-dimensional real size single hole nozzle along the injection duration. Results were compared between a conventional solenoid-driven injector and piezo-driven injector, both equipped with the same micro-sac multi-hole injection nozzle. The experimental results show that the piezo-driven injector has short injection delay and a faster spray development and produces higher injection velocity than the solenoid-driven injector. And the predicted simulation results with the degree of cavitation's generation inside nozzle for faster needle response In a piezo-driven injector were reflected to spray development in agreement with the experimental spray images.

배연창의 개방층 설정방식에 따른 배연성능 평가 연구(제주지역 중심으로) (Performance Evaluation of a Natural Smoke Ventilator in Jeju)

  • 본 연구에서는 연기로부터 재실자의 안전을 확보하기 위해 설치되는 배연창의 개방층 설정방식에 따른 배연성능을 바람이 강한 제주지역을 대상으로 CONTAM 모델링 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 분석되어진 결과는 육지와 큰 차이를 보이는 제주도의 지형과 특정 외기온도 및 외기풍속 등, 대표적인 변수에 대한 배연창의 배연성능에 대한 평가연구로 경향성을 판단하는데 한정되어야 한다. 분석결과, 배연창의 개방이나 외부 바람의 영향은 건축물의 중성면을 상승시켜 배연창의 배연성능에 많은 영향을 초래하는 것으로 나타났다. 배연창의 개방층 설정방식에 따른 배연성능은 화재층 개방방식이 가장 우수하게 나타났으며 화재층 및 직상층 개방방식은 화재층 개방방식보다 조금 성능이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 전 층 개방방식의 경우 배연성능이 아주 떨어져 외기의 다량 유입으로 배연성능을 전혀 기대할 수 없는 것으로 나타났다.

수직전류 인가형 나노 스핀소자의 제조 및 자기저항 특성 (The Fabrication and Magnetoresistance of Nanometer-sized Spin Device Driven by Current Perpendicular to the Plane)

  • 서브 마이크론 크기의 셀을 제조하기 위하여 종래의 방식인 전체시료구조를 증착한 후 이온밀링 방식으로 제조하는 대신에 Pt 스텐실 마스크 공정과 e-beam 리소 및 습식 식각 공정을 이용하여 배치형 submicron 셀을 lift-off 방식으로 제조하였다. $500nm{\times}500 nm,\;200nm{\times}300 nm$ 크기에 $CoFe(30 {\AA})/Cu(100{\AA})/CoFe(120{\AA}$) 3층 구조를 셀내에 증착하고 수직전류를 인가하여 자기저항 특성을 조사하였다. 자기저항 특성은 두 자성층의 보자력 차이를 이용하여 스핀의 반평형 구조를 유도하여 슈도 스핀밸브이며 각 셀의 크기에서 1.1, $0.8{\%}$의 자기저항비가 얻어졌다. 또한 전류인가에 따른 저항변화로부터 스핀전달 효과에 따른 스위칭 변화가 일어남을 확인하였으며, 이 구조에서 저항의 변화로부터 측정된 임계전류밀도는 약 $7.65{\times}10^{7}A/cm^2$였다.

Swell Correction of Shallow Marine Seismic Reflection Data Using Genetic Algorithms

  • Some CMP gathers acquired from shallow marine seismic reflection survey in offshore Korea do not show the hyperbolic trend of moveout. It originated from so-called swell effect of source and streamer, which are towed under rough sea surface during the data acquisition. The observed time deviations of NMO-corrected traces can be entirely ascribed to the swell effect. To correct these time deviations, a residual statics is introduced using Genetic Algorithms (GA) into the swell correction. A new class of global optimization methods known as GA has recently been developed in the field of Artificial Intelligence and has a resemblance with the genetic evolution of biological systems. The basic idea in using GA as an optimization method is to represent a population of possible solutions or models in a chromosome-type encoding and manipulate these encoded models through simulated reproduction, crossover and mutation. GA parameters used in this paper are as follows: population size Q=40, probability of multiple-point crossover P$_c$=0.6, linear relationship of mutation probability P$_m$ from 0.002 to 0.004, and gray code representation are adopted. The number of the model participating in tournament selection (nt) is 3, and the number of expected copies desired for the best population member in the scaling of fitness is 1.5. With above parameters, an optimization run was iterated for 101 generations. The combination of above parameters are found to be optimal for the convergence of the algorithm. The resulting reflection events in every NMO-corrected CMP gather show good alignment and enhanced quality stack section.

설비공학 분야의 최근 연구 동향 : 2016년 학회지 논문에 대한 종합적 고찰 (Recent Progress in Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Research : A Review of Papers Published in the Korean Journal of Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering in 2016)

  • This article reviews the papers published in the Korean Journal of Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering during 2016. It is intended to understand the status of current research in the areas of heating, cooling, ventilation, sanitation, and indoor environments of buildings and plant facilities. Conclusions are as follows. (1) The research works on the thermal and fluid engineering have been reviewed as groups of flow, heat and mass transfer, the reduction of pollutant exhaust gas, cooling and heating, the renewable energy system and the flow around buildings. CFD schemes were used more for all research areas. (2) Research works on heat transfer area have been reviewed in the categories of heat transfer characteristics, pool boiling and condensing heat transfer and industrial heat exchangers. Researches on heat transfer characteristics included the results of the long-term performance variation of the plate-type enthalpy exchange element made of paper, design optimization of an extruded-type cooling structure for reducing the weight of LED street lights, and hot plate welding of thermoplastic elastomer packing. In the area of pool boiling and condensing, the heat transfer characteristics of a finned-tube heat exchanger in a PCM (phase change material) thermal energy storage system, influence of flow boiling heat transfer on fouling phenomenon in nanofluids, and PCM at the simultaneous charging and discharging condition were studied. In the area of industrial heat exchangers, one-dimensional flow network model and porous-media model, and R245fa in a plate-shell heat exchanger were studied. (3) Various studies were published in the categories of refrigeration cycle, alternative refrigeration/energy system, system control. In the refrigeration cycle category, subjects include mobile cold storage heat exchanger, compressor reliability, indirect refrigeration system with $CO_2$ as secondary fluid, heat pump for fuel-cell vehicle, heat recovery from hybrid drier and heat exchangers with two-port and flat tubes. In the alternative refrigeration/energy system category, subjects include membrane module for dehumidification refrigeration, desiccant-assisted low-temperature drying, regenerative evaporative cooler and ejector-assisted multi-stage evaporation. In the system control category, subjects include multi-refrigeration system control, emergency cooling of data center and variable-speed compressor control. (4) In building mechanical system research fields, fifteenth studies were reported for achieving effective design of the mechanical systems, and also for maximizing the energy efficiency of buildings. The topics of the studies included energy performance, HVAC system, ventilation, renewable energies, etc. Proposed designs, performance tests using numerical methods and experiments provide useful information and key data which could be help for improving the energy efficiency of the buildings. (5) The field of architectural environment was mostly focused on indoor environment and building energy. The main researches of indoor environment were related to the analyses of indoor thermal environments controlled by portable cooler, the effects of outdoor wind pressure in airflow at high-rise buildings, window air tightness related to the filling piece shapes, stack effect in core type's office building and the development of a movable drawer-type light shelf with adjustable depth of the reflector. The subjects of building energy were worked on the energy consumption analysis in office building, the prediction of exit air temperature of horizontal geothermal heat exchanger, LS-SVM based modeling of hot water supply load for district heating system, the energy saving effect of ERV system using night purge control method and the effect of strengthened insulation level to the building heating and cooling load.
